Sweetie Belle woke the next morning in her friend Apple Bloom's room with a smile upon her face. Last night went very well.
No explosions, no flood, no crazy monster, and best of all, no broken barn.(All this happened at least once before) This was the best visit to Sweet Apple acres Sweetie Belle ever had. She looked outside. Celestia was raising the sun. Sweetie Belle shielded her eyes as light poured into the room. She looked around and saw Apple Bloom and Scootaloo waking up.

When they opened their eyes, they were wearing smiles just as Sweetie Belle did.

"Yesterday night was GREAT!" Scootaloo said standing up.

"Ya got that right Scoot." Apple Bloom replied cheerfully while she got of her bed. Her face turned shocked as she looked at the clock which was telling them it was already 7:20! That's why when she spoke she did so in a worried tone. "Oh no guys, look at the time! We're gonna be late." The other two looked at the clock and their faces went from cheerfully smiling to worried.

"What the HAY! Where did time go?" Scootaloo screamed desperately, trying to grab her saddlebag and shove all her school books in it while Sweetie Belle was using her magic to gather her stuff. Of course as Apple Bloom was pretty organized she had no trouble getting all her stuff from where they belonged. Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle finally got all of her stuff in her saddlebags with 6 minutes left until school started.

Apple Bloom took a breath of relief. "Good, ya guys are ready. Now le-" But Apple Bloom was cut of by a scream of.
"Aaaaaaaaaaplle Blooooooom!" This caught the crusaders by suprize and they rushed downstairs.

The sight they saw was enough to make anypony break down in laughter but they thought better of it. It was big Mac who had a cat hanging from his tail. His face was full of rage.

The crusaders were drowned in fear. They knew who's cat that was.

Scootaloo and Apple Bloom looked at Sweetie Belle who nervously said. "Hehe, I guess Mittens likes you?" Big Mac huffed. "Okay um, I guess we'll go then." And Sweetie Belle levitated Mittens with her magic and dashed of with the other crusaders.
Even after they were very far from Sweet Apple acres, they didn't stop running for they lost even more
time after the hold up with big Mac and they only had 1 minute till school started!

"Phew, we're here on time." Scootaloo said, out of breath, when they finally reached the school. "Ya, good." Sweetie Belle responded while hiding Mittens in her saddlebag. They rushed into the school house just as the clock hit 7:30 and the bell rang.

When they went inside the school house they looked around to see if they could spot the new student, but the students were the same as always. (Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon in the second row of the four-by-three desk arrangement, next to Snips. In the third row was Snails who was next to Twist who sat next to Pipsqueak. In the last row was featherweight and another familiar filly and the extra seat that had been there forever, so long than the crusaders hardly thought it meant anything, well, at least Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle didn't...

The crusaders took their seats, The three seats in the front, Apple Bloom in the middle, Sweetie Belle on the left and Scootaloo on the right side of Apple Bloom, and looked at Apple Bloom questionably. Apple Bloom pointed to the empty chair in the back row. The other two didn't seem to understand and their confused faces said it all. Apple Bloom rolled her eyes and scribbled down two notes, both of which read The extra seat in the back. and passed them to both of her friends who were still looking confused.

Scootaloo stared at the chair in the back and then it hit her. She scribbled another note to Apple Bloom which read The colt is the chair. Apple Bloom hit her forehead. Do ya really think Scoot. she thought in her head. She was about to scribble down another note when Ms.Cherilee started class and since they were in front, the teacher would surly notice a passing note.

Of course Apple Bloom knew that the new student was supposed to come later and be introduced when they arrived, Apple Bloom have being a new student here before, but her friends must of forgotten

Class started as normal as always, Ms.Cherilee talked about homework, scolded those who didn't do it and taught, it was all as expected. But what they didn't expect was a orangish-brown maned earth pony colt with a brown coat, hazle eyes and a spinning propeller hat upon his head to break the door and roll into the class, he seemed to of tripped on something, in the middle of Ms.Cherilee's lesson.

While many of the students were surprised by this sudden entrance, Ms.Cherilee looked as though she was expecting this, and for the broken door, she was used to this happening, mainly because of the monsters that have been coming to Ponyville ever since princess Twilight Sparkle started living here.

"Welcome, Button Mash." She said, smiling warmly, to the colt. "Please tell the class about where your from." The colt named Button Mash stood up, smiled, and started talking.

"I was born in Fillydelphia, and then my family moved to Canterlot because of my dad's job." He started in a squeaky voice. "And then me and my mom moved to Manehattan because of bullying." He paused and said in a slightly less cheerful tone. "But my dad couldn't find work so he stayed with my brother in Canterlot and then my mom found a part time job here, Ponyville." When he finished talking, Ms.Cherilee looked at him and asked. "Anything else?" Button smiled cheerfully again. "Yeah! I'm eight years old, I like blue and I LOVE video games!" He said or some might say yelled.

Ms.Cherilee smiled an told him to sit down.

She continued class as always. Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle watched as he went to sit on the extra seat and they finally understood why Apple Bloom wrote the seat in the back

After two hours

Ding-Ding-Ding!
The bell rang, signaling recess time.

"Ok, class, recess time!" Ms.Cherilee said, following a cheer and a rush of students galloping out to play and eat.

The CMC's decided to sit at the same table they always did after they grabbed their lunch. They ate waaay faster than they usually would and were finished in less that 10 minutes. When they were finished they were debating on who should invite Button Mash to the clubhouse this evening.

"So why again do you think I should do it?" Sweetie Belle asked Scootaloo who rolled her eyes. "It's not obvious?" She asked sarcastically. "Just say something like Rarity would. example ooh Button Mash please come over, I looove you" She said in a fancy accent. "And there, your done." She finished with a smug smile. This upset Sweetie Belle and her face was contorted to rage.

She was about to fight Scootaloo but was stopped by Apple Bloom who whispered something into Sweetie Belle's ear. Sweetie Belle smiled mischievously and said. "How about you do it?" And with all her might she used her magic and levitated Scootaloo up into the air. "Yeah! Show her, Sweets!" Apple Bloom cheered.

Scootaloo was looking angry when she suddenly saw Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon coming over. The other two saw Scootaloo's expression and looked back. Sweetie Belle let go of Scootaloo and they all groaned.

"Ooh it looks like the so called pegusus still needs her dumb friend to help her." Diamond Tiara teased Scootaloo.

"I'm surprised she didn't blow her up." Silver Spooned remarked. Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo looked sad which made Diamond Tiara smirk. Apple Bloom was about to fight back when she heard a voice.

"Why are you two bullying them?" Asked a squeaky voice.

They all turned to see Button Mash standing there.

"Oh who are you to question us, blaaank flaank." Diamond Tiara asked mockingly.

"So what if i'm a blank flank? At least I don't have a cutie mark like a tiara or spoon. I mean, what does it even mean?" He asked calmly. "Cause if spoons are for eating, does that mean your special talent is eating?" He asked Silver Spoon, who looked shocked. "And a tiara? What talent is that? Wearing tiaras? Cause that's not special." He said shaking his head. "Anyways, why are you teasing these three?" He asked pointing to the Crusaders. "They're cool, I mean." He stopped walking around and looked at Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon, who were still looking shocked. "They help others earn cutie marks! Thats cool! So why are you bullying them about what they can't do?" He stared at Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon and then looked at Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle, who were no longer whimpering but had their mouths opened in shock, and looked back and said in a very scary tone. "So leave and stop bullying them." He paused and gave them a horrifying look. "Or else!"

Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon didn't need telling twice and they galloped away to the playground.

Button Mash watched as they ran away. "Well good that their gone." He muttered to himself and he looked back at the CMC's. "Are you three alright?" He asked. The CMC's smiled and looked at him.

"That was AWSOME!" They squealed. "How were you so calm with them?" Sweetie Belle asked a taken aback Button Mash. "Well I guess i'm just used to bullying, so it doesn't bother me." He said.

"And how'd you know they were bullying us?" Scootaloo asked in aww.

"Easy." Button replied. "I was just finished eating when I saw those to walk over to you three so I came over and heard them bullying you three."

"But how'd ya know about us?" Asked Apple Bloom.

Button rolled his eyes. "Let's say you have a very proud sister who told me all about you three when I asked for apples." He said. Apple Bloom blushed and muttered. "She's a bit embarrassing."

"Anyways, bye." He said as he left the crusaders, and that's when it hit them. "Wait!" Scootaloo yelled catching up with him. Button stopped and looked at Scootaloo who said. "Wanna come to our clubhouse in the evening?"

His ears perked up and his face lit up with joy. "Really?" He asked. "Of course." Sweetie Belle replied.

"YAAAAAAAY!' He cheered while jumping up and down and then he suddenly stopped and looked at the crusaders and said. "Okay." He then walked away into the school just as the bell rang. The crusaders looked at each other and grinned. That's one weird colt they thought as they all walked into the school house, excitement flowing through them.
