Chapters Ugh…. Is it just me or is my bed harder than I remember and why can’t I feel my hands? Now that I think about it, I can’t really feel anything in bed.
I open my eyes to discover that I’m not in my bed or in my bedroom but instead, I’m in what seems to be a castle and it’s a very familiar castle at that. I also try to get up but I quickly fall back down. I look at my body to see if I have any problems going on with me and…. I’m in a pony’s body and I quickly give a surprised shriek. This all makes sense now with the castle, I must be in Equestria!
I should be excited as I’ve always dreamed of being in Equestria but instead I’m confused and bewildered as how and why am I here. This should be a dream but this just feels all too real to be a dream.
I try again to stand up, this time going for four legs instead of two and it feels much better this way. I look around, If I’m in Twilight’s Castle then surely someone must be here right?
Almost as soon as I thought of that I heard a voice. Maybe I was being a bit too loud.
“H-Hello? Is somepony here?”
I easily recognized the voice as it belonged to Spike, Twilight’s assistant/adopted brother.
I soon start to panic. What do I do if he sees me? I can’t just walk up to him and tell him that I’m a human from another world who just randomly woke up here! He might think I’m crazy! Maybe I should hide someplace. That might just work but then again, where am I supposed to hide? I see one of those crystal pillars and I quickly stumble over to it. I held my back against the pillar and took a deep breath.
After what feels like a few minutes have gone by I heard his voice again.
“Hmm, I don’t see anything. Maybe I was just hearing things.”
I heard him walk away so that was a sigh of relief. I came out from the pillar before quickly falling back down a thud. I guess I’m still not used to being in this body, but before I could get back up I heard something.
“I heard a noise again. I should check back over there just to make sure. Wait, who are you?”
I look up to see Spike with a confused expression on his face.
Uh Oh. I’ve been caught. In a blind panic, I got up and started to run away. While I was doing so I heard his voice again
“Wait! Where are you going?”
I looked up when I bumped into the thing and saw a purple figure standing over me. I didn’t know who it was as it could have been either Starlight or Twilight but once I heard her voice I immediately recognized them.
“Spike! I’ve told you before not to run around the castle. You.. could.. You're not Spike!”
It was Twilight Sparkle. Spike quickly ran up to the both of us..
“I’m sorry, Twilight…. I heard a noise so I went to investigate…. Then I saw her in the middle of the castle….. Before I could do anything she just started to run away from me…” He was clearly panting as he talked
“Well, it’s good we have her with us right now. We ask her some questions and figure out why she’s here and what are her motives.” Twilight said, clearly looking at me.
I think I might be in some big trouble. Maybe, I should lie to them and say that I came from the crystal mirror but then again, I might be sent back there and probably have a memory spell put on me. I should just tell them the truth…. Well most of the truth, I don’t know how they would react to me telling them that their cartoon characters in my world so I should just leave that detail out.
“Ok, then question one. Who are you and where did you come from?” Twilight asked
I sighed before telling them “Look, you might think I’m crazy or something but I’m not from this world. I come from another world and I just woke up here a while ago. That sound Spike heard was probably from me when I shrieked at my appearance.”
“So you're from another world? Strange… Wait, why did you shriek at your appearance? Are you not a pony in your world?” Twilight asked
“Well, In my world I’m not a pony. Instead, I’m a mostly hairless creature that walks on two legs.”
I made sure not to mention anything that sounds suspicious as I didn’t want them to know that I knew about their world.
“Wait! Twilight, what if they came from the other world in the Crystal Mirror? There is a chance that may have accidentally fallen into the portal back at Canterlot High.” Spike asked Twilight
“That is a possibility, but let me ask her that. Do you attend Canterlot High? Did you ever come near a statue a while ago?” She said to Spike before asking me.
“No? I’ve never heard of Canterlot High, nor have I come near a statue lately.” I lied to them. I had to make sure that they didn’t know that I knew about the mirror world.
“Well, that makes it harder now. What if, they're not from the mirror world but another world that's like the mirror world but not exactly. That seems to be the case right now but I’m not too sure. Right now, I think it would be best she stayed with us. I know Starlight just moved in a few days ago but there's nothing we can't handle.”
“I guess you’re right Twilight. I should get the guest room set up for her. You should go tell Starlight about her.” Spike said before walking away
It looks like I’ll be fine for now but I don’t know how long I can keep lying to them about what I know.

Getting Used To New Surroundings
Me and Twilight walked around the castle as she looked for Starlight. The castle looks much bigger and prettier than what was shown in the show, which is pretty cool. I also heard Twilight say that Starlight just moved in, so that means that the two of them must have just gone through the events of the Cutie Re-Mark and if that happened then the Friendship Games must have happened too and Twilight saw her human counterpart. Then the Crystaling must be happening very shortly.
“So… We’re going to see Starlight?” I ask Twilight
“Well, I don’t want her to be surprised to see a random and mysterious unicorn in the castle so I thought that it would be a good idea to introduce you to her right now and after that I can teach you some magic spells.”
Unicorn..? I look at the top of my head and I see a horn. Huh, I guess I never realised I was a unicorn until now.
The two of us soon stopped at a door.
“Wait… You never told me your name and I can’t introduce you to her without a name.”
She’s right. I never told her or Spike my name.
“I’m not sure if my name would fit into a world where people are named things like Twilight or Starlight. Is there a possibility that I could use a fake name?’ I ask her
“A fake name? I guess that might work. Hmm, your colors kinda have an ocean theme going on so how about.. Ocean Waves?” Twilight suggests to me
“Ocean Waves, huh. I guess that could work as a name.”
“Great!” Twilight says before knocking on the door behind her. “Starlight are you in there? I want to introduce you to someone.” She turns back to me and says “Don’t worry if she seems a bit shy. We’ve just been through some crazy stuff that I can explain to you later.”
I guess that crazy stuff that Twilight is referring to is what happened in the Cutie Map and the Cutie Re-Mark.
The door opened slightly and I could barely see Starlight peeking through the door.
“Who do you want to introduce me to?” She asks
I step forward and put a hoot out. “Hi, I’m Ocean Waves or well that's the name that Twilight gave me.”
The door opened a bit more, letting me see Starlight better
“Twilight gave you a name? Don't you already have a name?” She asked me confused
“Well, I can explain that. You see, Waves here came from another dimension and inexplicably woke up here awhile ago. She also does have a normal name and Ocean Waves is just a name she can use here until I can get her back home.” Twilight explains
“She’s from another world? That's surely strange. Maybe you try tracking her some spells considering that she’s in the body of a unicorn.”
“That is a good idea Starlight. Well, I’ll see you later.” Twilight says before the two of us walk away.
I’d never thought that I would see the day that I would have to learn a real spell but I guess that day has come.
The two of us soon come across a large door. Twilight opens the door to reveal the Castle Library. It’s much bigger than what I originally thought.
“Let’s see here.” Twilight says as she picks up several books with her magic “Ooh, what about a shield spell? Or maybe an attacking spell? There's so many spells for you to learn but so little time!” Twilight says as she flips through several spell books
“Uhh, Twilight?”
“Yes, Waves?”
“Can I just learn some of the more simple spells? I feel like learning a bunch of spells at once might tire me out and plus I haven’t even been in this body for a whole day yet.”
“Oh, right. Sorry about that. I just get so excited sometimes when it comes to spells. I guess we should start out first with a simple levitation spell. Most unicorns know this spell when they are pretty young so this should be easy.” Twilight picks up a random book from one of the shelves before putting it on the floor. “Just imagine yourself picking up the book and you should pick it up with your magic.”
I close my eyes and I start to imagine myself back when I was a human picking up the book. After a few seconds, I open my eyes back up to see the book which is now coated in a light blue aura floating mid air
“Good Job! Now can you try to move the book around?”
I start to concentrate on moving the book around and soon enough, it starts to move around.
“Great! You’re already looking like a natural. I bet soon enough, we can start working on more advanced magic. I think it’s time we get some food. I’m starting a bit hungry and I bet you are too.
It seems like everything is ok for now. Soon enough I’ll probably have to deal with some problems.

The two of us walked into the kitchen after we exited the library. I never really got to see this room before since I don’t remember seeing it in the show, so it’s pretty cool to see a portion of the castle for the first time.
“So, what do you want? I have a bunch of things that I can get you. I have some fruit or I could get you some hayfries.” Twilight says as she looks around the kitchen.
“Uhh, I’ll just have a apple. I’m not really that hungry.” I say as I attempt to sit down on a chair. I fall a few times before I soon figure out how to sit down.
“Alright. I guess that you're still getting used to being in that body instead of being in your normal body. Hopefully, you can get used to that body since I don’t know how long you might be here for.” She says as she grabs an apple and gives it to me. “I still have to figure out who or what brought you here and how I can get you back to your home.”
As I start to bite into the apple, Spike walks through the door.
“Hey, Twilight? Do you remember how you had plans to meet up with the others?” He asked
“Yes…? Why do you ask?”
“Well… That was planned for today and the others are here now.”
“Today?! Oh, this is not good.. Ok, Waves just stay here while I go see them. I don’t want to let more people know that you’re here. If anypony sees you, just tell them that you’re a friend of mine and that you’re just visiting me today.” Twilight says before both she and Spike leave the room.
This should hopefully be pretty easy but I’m not really sure. I sat in the kitchen for what felt to be a good while, until I heard the door open. I turned around to see a pink pony set a pack of cupcakes on a nearby counter. I recognized the pony based on her cheerful exterior and her large poofy mane to be Pinkie Pie. I originally hoped that whoever came into here that they wouldn't notice me, but knowing Pinkie Pie that was impossible.
Pinkie noticed me right after she placed the cupcakes on the counter. Pinkie gasped loudly before she ran up to me with a huge grin on her face.
“Oh my goodness! I didn’t expect to meet a new friend today! I didn’t expect it cause you see, I was supposed to see Twilight with all of my other friends and I also brought some cupcakes because I thought that everypony would enjoy them and so I went into here to put them up for later and once I was done doing that I turned around and I saw you sitting there and then I gasped cause I didn’t think that somepony else would be here and now here we are!” Pinkie said, all excited and after that she gasped again.
I didn’t think Pinkie would be this chatty but here we are.
“Oh! I never told you my name! My name’s Pinkie Pie! What’s yours?”
“My name’s Ocean Waves. It’s nice to meet you.”
“Wait! I want you to meet the others!”
Before I could say or do anything, Pinkie dragged me out of the kitchen and into the main room where everyone is sitting.
“Everypony, I’d like you to meet Ocean Waves! I met her in the kitchen.” Pinkie announced to the others
Everyone looked surprised, except Twilight who looked embarrassed.
“Oh my! I didn’t know that somepony else was in here besides Twilight, Spike, and Starlight! Do you know her Twilight?” Rarity asked
“I do know her. She’s just staying here for awhile before she goes back home.” Twilight said
Applejack walked over to me and shook my hoof before saying “Well, Howdy Miss Waves! My name’s Applejack and it’s nice to meet you!”
“Well, it’s nice to meet you and it’s nice to meet all of you.” I say
“I have to ask, where is she from Twilight? She couldn't have lived in Ponyville. Maybe, she came from Canterlot.” Rarity asked
“Maybe she came from Las Pegasus.” Rainbow Dash said
“What if she’s from Manehattan?” Fluttershy asked
“Ooh! Ohh! Let me guess.. You’re from another world that’s almost like the world that Twilight visited and you just randomly woke up here a few hours ago and now Twilight is letting you stay here while she tries to figure out how you got here and how to get you back home!’ Pinkie said before a huge smile covers her face
Both me and Twilight were shocked as Pinkie got almost every detail right. I knew this might happen as she has guessed things before like in the Equestria Girls movie.
“Uh, Pinkie? I don’t think you're even close. In fact, I think that that's impossible.” Rarity said to Pinkie
“I know it sounds weird and all but, Pinkie’s actually right. How did you know all of that?” Twilight explains to Rarity
Of course it was just a hunch.
“Wait, she’s really from another world? That’s so cool!” Dash says
“Wait! I almost forgot that Waves here needs a Welcome to Ponyville party!” Pinkie exclames
“I know that you want to throw a party Pinkie, but I don’t want a lot of ponies to know about her right now. Maybe, just keep the party just to us for now.” Twilight tells Pinkie
“Ooh! A super duper secret party! I’ll go get a cake ready right now!” Pinkie says before hopping towards the kitchen to make a cake.
I never expected this to happen, but I’m glad it did as I got to meet the rest of the mane six. I’m kinda glad that when Pinkie was guessing where I came from, she never mentioned the whole tv show thing or else that would have ended pretty awkward. Maybe, she doesn’t know about the tv show thing but I’m not too sure about that.

The Crystalling (Part One)
The rest of the day went on without any problems. Pinkie threw what she called a super duper secret party inside the castle. I do have to admit, Pinkie can make some pretty good cakes. Soon after the party was over, Twilight and Spike showed me the room that I was going to be staying in for the time being and I soon went to sleep after that.
I woke up the next day, expecting that yesterday was all just some kind of dream and that I would be in my normal body. Instead, I woke up in the guest room and in my other body. I still can’t believe that all of this has happened.
I got out of bed and started to wonder around the castle until I saw Twilight, Starlight and Spike all on the balcony. Twilight looked really excited.
“Ah! Good morning Waves, you slept in late. Did you sleep well last night?” Twilight asked
“I guess so. What are you all doing?” I asked
“Well , I have a big and exciting announcement to make! Shining Armor and Princess Cadance just had their baby! That means that we're going to the Crystal Empire tomorrow to be there for the Crystalling! Starlight is also going to have her first friendship lesson there too!” Twilight said enthusiastically while Starlight oh the other hand looked nervous which I knew was because she had to meet up with Sunburst for the first time since they were foals.
I didn’t expect to be involved in the plot of an episode so soon, but hopefully this will end well but it might not.
We spent the rest of the day preparing to head to the Crystal Empire. Twilight explained to me the history of the Crystal Empire as well as the history of Shining Armor and Princess Cadance as well as teaching me some more magic like how to make my own shield. I was surprised as to some of the info Twilight told me as some of this info was never told in the show. There may have been a chance that the info was in the comics, but I didn’t really read many of them besides some of the most famous ones.
Soon after that the day finally arrived. All of us were at the Ponyville train station waiting to go to the Crystal Empire. The others were discussing what they got for the baby and the Crystal Heart. Starlight was still pretty nervous about meeting up with Sunburst for the first time in forever but knowing how this episode ends, she’ll be alright. Soon enough, the train finally arrives and we all board it. Soon enough, we arrive at the entrance of the Crystal Empire.
I had to admit that I was looking around in awe, once I got there.I was surprised that it looked even more amazing than it did in the show. Twilight then met Shining Armor and soon sent Starlight and Spike to go and meet Sunburst.
Before everyone went to the castle to meet the soon to be named Flurry Heart, Shining Armor turned to face me and said.”Well, I don’t think we’ve properly met before. I’m Shining Armor, Twilight’s older brother. And you are?”
“I’m Ocean Waves, It’s nice to meet you Shining Armor.”
We soon made out way around the empire and soon entered the castle
“Before we go in, I should probably tell you. Seeing the baby might be a bit of a shock.” Shining Armor said
I knew exactly what was going to happen next when Twilight opened the door and saw Flurry Heart lying down. Here came one of the few moments that made a lot of fans online go nuts. This would go down in Three… Two… One… Flurry Heart opened her wings and revealed to everyone that she was an alicorn which shocked everyone besides myself but I did put on a fake shocked expression to avoid any suspicion. Celestia and Luna did their whole “a alicorn has never been born in Equestria before” lines. It’s nothing that I haven’t heard before.
I soon introduced myself to Celestia, Luna, and Cadence while the others were discussing Flurry's magic. Soon after that, the others left to go get everything ready for the Crystalling while me, Twilight, and Pinkie were left in charge of Flurry. Almost as soon as they left, Pinkie started to play with Flurry which I knew wouldn't end well once it was time for the Crystalling.
When it was time for the event to begin, Pinkie and Flurry were flying around and it was pretty hard for me and Twilight to stop them. Eventually, Twilight managed to trap both Pinkie and Flurry in a magic bubble. The two of us soon went into the area where the Crystal Heart was being both kept and displayed. Cadence then separated Flurry from Pinkie and I soon realized what was going to happen next.
Flurry who was now separated from Pinkie, got sad and began to cry loudly. I have to say that I never thought that a child could cry so loudly but I was wrong. I feel like her cries would have been a tad bit louder, my eardrums would have probably exploded. That didn't happen but something else did and that was the Crystal Heart. I looked behind the curtains that were hiding the now shattered Crystal Heart and saw a large storm heading right for the Crystal Empire.
This day was going to be pretty eventful.

The Crystalling (Part Two)
“Ok, now that the Crystal Heart is now broken. We’re going to be buried alive in snow .” I say as I take a peek outside.
“Wave’s right. If we don't do anything soon. We can say goodbye to the Crystal Empire. There must be some kind of spell that can restore the Heart” Twilight says
“The library here at the castle is nearly as extensive as the one in Canterlot. There's a good chance we can find something there!” Cadence says
“Let’s do this, but first Applejack, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash go and try to convince the Crystal Ponies to go indoors. Celestia and Luna, go and try to ward off the storm for as long as you can. Waves, go and find both Starlight and Spike to make sure that they're ok. The rest of us will go into the library to try and find a spell to fix the Crystal Heart.” Twilight says before we all head out separate ways.
I run around the empire, trying to find Starlight and Spike. Soon enough, I find the two.
“Waves, what's going on? It looks like a whole storm is coming for the empire.”
“The baby's an Alicorn and accidentally destroyed the Crystal Heart. Twilight and Cadance are looking for a spell to put it back together right now and save the Crystal Empire from being destroyed.” I explain to them
“That sounds horrible. We really should go and help them.” Starlight says before the three of us headed towards the castle
Once we got there, we saw both Twilight and Cadance who were disappointed and saw. It turns out that Flurry destroyed the book that had the spell to fix the Crystal Heart. Starlight soon mentioned Sunburst and Cadance recommended that me, Spike, and Starlight go and ask for his help while Shining Armor goes out and evacuate the empire.
We soon made our way to Sunbursts house.
“Sunburst! Haven't you looked outside in the past hour or so?” Starlight asks him
“What? That isn't normal… Isn’t the Crystal Heart supposed to protect the empire?” Sunburst asks
“Well, I would be protecting the empire if it wasn’t broken in a thousand peices right now!” I said
“Wait… The Crystal Heart is broken?! How did that happen?”
“Well, you see… Shining Armor and Cadance's baby is an Alicorn and well.. The baby isn’t really great with handling it’s magic so it ended up breaking the Crystal Heart! We came to your house to see if you have some kind of spell that could fix it.” Starlight said
“Y-You want me to help? You know, I'd like to help, I-I really would. I-I just have so much, um, important wizard work to do around here.” Sunburst said
I knew this was going to happen. I really shouldn't interfere with them. I honestly hope that the others are doing ok with the evacuation.
“Sunburst, I know you're busy, but did you hear what I said?”
“Oh, I heard you, but-but like I said, when you're an important wizard, the work just piles up.”
“Look, Starlight, I want to help. I do. But I can't. I wish I could.”
“What do you mean?!”
“ Fixing an ancient relic? I-I can't even come close to doing something like that!”
“But I thought you were an important wizard!”
“Well, you were wrong, okay?! I'm not an important wizard! I'm not even a wizard at all! I know it's hard for you to understand, but not all of us end up achieving greatness.”
The two of them discuss for a little bit before Starlight reveals what she did while the two of them were apart
“Well, you don't know what it was like to be left behind! And then getting so bitter that you steal the cutie marks from an entire village and then get defeated by Twilight and her friends, so you travel through time to get back at them, but they beat you again and teach you about friendship, but you're so terrified ponies will find out what you did that you can't make any friends!”
Sunburst looks at Starlight with surprise before the two of them finally become friends again before I remind them of what is happening outside.
“Hey.. I’d hate to break up the two of you, but the Crystal Heart is still broken and we need a way to fix it.”
“Oh! I almost forgot. Sunburst, do you have any spells that can try to fix the Crystal Heart and let the Crystalling happen?”
“Crystalling….? I may have an idea!” Sunburst says before grabbing a collection of books and looking through them
We soon make our way back though the empire, stopping where the others are. Starlight tells the others to head back to the castle as they had an idea and soon enough, we were back where the shattered remains of the Crystal Heart laid.
Sunburst then shared his idea of using the Crystalling to save the Crystal Heart. Everyone agreed on the idea and they soon began the event. Sunburst quickly merged the Crystalling crystal into the heart which was being held together by the princesses and Starlight. The heart finally was fixed and the blizzard went away while also crystalling everyone including myself which is pretty cool.
After that, everyone made their way back to the train station to head back to Ponyville. Cadence and Shining Armor finally gave Flurry her name while I boarded the train. I relaxed in the far back of the train to watch the empire. When the train started to depart from the station, I noticed something black flying towards the empire. I quickly realised that it was Thorax who was flying. I knew he was heading there thanks to all of the love that was in the empire.
Today was certainly an exciting day and this wouldn’t probably be the last.

This would probably be the last chapter for a while as I want to work a bit on other things.
