It is a fine afternoon in Ponyville, many ponies were all seen having a chat in town, doing their work and having fun like they always do in their daily lives.
In Twilight's castle, Princess Twilight Sparkle of Friendship was seen in her bedroom sitting on her chair while writing down on a piece of paper on her studying desk in a joyful manner. The reason behind that is because she has been invited to the apple family cider festival by her friend Applejack, and she had accepted the invitation because, she is one of her best friend's after all.
But, Twilight has decided to invite another special friend along. And this 'special friend' is known as Thorax, the changeling King.
Twilight and Thorax have both spent a lot of time together in Ponyville for the last three weeks and nothing has ever went wrong with the two royals. They both have read book, ate foods at fancy restaurants, played some brainstorming games like chess and many more.
During their times together, Twilight has developed some feelings for the Changeling King but, she was very anxious to even confess it to him. Not only is it because she had butterflies in her stomach, but because she doesn't know if it was too early or not.
"Alright letter completed." Twilight said levitating the letter up in the air with her magic "Now all I have to do is to teleport this to the Changeling Hive so that Thorax would receive it." She said with a smile. Five seconds later, the letter was teleported to the Changeling Hive. After that, Twilight leaned back against her chair letting out a sigh in the process.
"Okay, I now need to prepare." Twilight told herself. After that she got off of her chair and walked towards her closet. Once she got to it, she gripped onto the wooden handles with her magic and pulled them open. Then, she began to pick a dress.
It would be wise and logical to not wear any fancy or royal dresses to the festival because, many of the ponies there would think that she is very greedy for bits.
"Which one should I choose?" Twilight asked while searching through her closet, her luxurious and royal dresses and gowns would not be a valid choice. But, when she looked to her left, she saw a bright yellow coloured dress. "Ooh! This one will be perfect!" She exclaimed with a smile. After that, she levitated the dress off of the rack and pulled it down from the hanger. Then, she began to wear it.
Changeling Hive
In the Changeling Hive, King Thorax of the Changeling Kingdom was seen sitting on his throne sitting in a relaxed position after lending some succour to his subjects as well as running his Kingdom, he sure is really hard-working like always. But, his relaxation was soon put to an end when a letter magically appeared in front of him.
"Huh? What is this?" Thorax asked with a perplexed expression. He then grabbed the piece of paper with his right hoof, he unfolded it and saw some writings on it.
Dear Thorax
Hello Thorax how are you? Everything going well with your life as well as running your Kingdom? And hey, recently I have received a letter from my friend Applejack today, and she that she wanted to invite me and my friends to the apple family cider festival. I have decided to invite you to the occasion too since you're my best friend. I hope to see you soon!
From Twilight Sparkle
Thorax's eyes widened in interest after he finished reading the letter. The apple family cider festival must be very entertaining and fun from what he had heard from Applejack a couple of days ago. But, he does look forward to seeing his crush Twilight there.
"Twilight's inviting me to the apple family cider festival?" Thorax asked with a smile "I need to prepare!" He exclaimed as he got off of his throne. After that, he began to run to his room in an enthusiastic way in order to get himself trained for the occasion.
Sweet apple acres
It is now 4:00pm in Applejack's home sweet apple acres, many western ponies as well as ponies from Ponyville were seen hanging around near the barn with dresses and suits that were suitable for the festival.
At the entrance of the barn, Applejack the element of honesty was seen exiting her house with six wooden cups filled with wine. She walked up to the wooden barrels where her friends are. She first started with Rainbow Dash and Rarity' s first, next she gave two to Pinkie and Fluttershy. And finally, she walked up to Twilight's barrel.
"Here s yer' beer Twilight." Applejack said as she placed a cup of her wine on the barrel in front of her.
"Thank you Applejack." Twilight said in a slightly sad tone which made her friend perplexed.
"What's wrong Twilight?" Applejack asked with a raise of her eyebrow "You seem, disconsolate." She told her.
"Oh it's nothing it's just... I'm kinda feeling lonely." She told her.
"Without Thorax?" Applejack asked, and Twilight's eyes widened when she heard this, her cheeks flushed slightly too. The sight also made Applejack smirk because, she can see through her that Twilight currently has a crush on Thorax considering all of that time she spent with him in libraries, restaurants and many more.
Twilight was currently in the state of anxiety right now because, Applejack now knows that she has a crush on Thorax, and she must have lots of questions to ask her. But miraculously, the question would not be happening when Twilight heard a familiar voice behind her.
"Twilight!"
Twilight turned around and saw Thorax in front of her.
"Thorax!" Twilight exclaimed with an exuberant expression.
Thorax arrived in a tuxedo which is suitable for the festival, while Twilight is dressed in a bright yellow dress. The two individuals blushed slightly from the elegance and handsomeness.
"You look fabulous Twilight." Thorax remarked.
"Thank you, you're not bad yourself as well." Twilight told him.
The two were silent for a moment while admiring each other but, that was soon out to an end when the two royals heard some noises coming from behind, they turned around and saw many ponies dancing with each other, they must assume that the festival has already started.
"Oh, the festival has started." Twilight said looking back at Thorax.
"I can see." Thorax said looking at the happily dancing crowd. After that, he looked down at the alicorn Princess "Care for a dance beautiful?" He asked in a loyal voice as he extended his right hoof out.
Twilight's cheeks flushed a little after she heard Thorax calling her 'beautiful'. Nopony in Ponyville has ever judged about her look before. But, the kind remark from Thorax has caught her off guard completely.
"He thinks I'm beautiful?" Twilight thought. But, she shook the thought out of her head and focused on the main subject.
"With pleasure handsome." Twilight replied, and the remark made Thorax blush and chuckle.
After that, Twilight placed her left hoof on Thorax's, and the changeling King grabbed onto it. Then, they both slowly walked to the crowd of ponies and started dancing.
10:00pm
Everypony were having a wonderful and merriment time during the apple family cider festival held in sweet apple acres. The ponies danced with each other while playing some instruments, and many more.
The dancing period lasted for three hours and all of the ponies including the Changeling King have decided to rest and drink some wine, except for Thorax of course, he doesn't drink because, he always likes to be vigorous. And he was has been Twilight drink for a while now.
"Ahhh brrrf, gaa..." Twilight blabbered in a drunk state.
Twilight had drank over five cups of wine already and this was her sixth punch. She has gotten very drunk already, and that got Thorax very worried.
"Twilight, you should stop." Thorax told her but, she didn't listen to him. Instead, she decided to get another.
"Hey Applejack! Get me another!" Twilight requested in a drunk tone.
Applejack was going to go back into the barn to get another drink for her friend but, Thorax stopped her.
"Cancel that Applejack." Thorax told her. And Applejack did what she was told.
Twilight wanted to request for another punch again but, her drunken state has prevented her from doing it. Then, she fell face first onto the barrel.
When Thorax noticed this, he decided to take her back home. So, he leaned off of the barrel and walked towards Twilight. Once he got to her, he lifted her up and placed her on her back. Finally, he turned around and bid farewell to the ponies.
After walking through Ponyville for thirty minutes, Thorax has finally made it to the front doors of Twilight's castle, and it's a good thing that none of the residence in town spotted him carrying Twilight back otherwise confusion and misunderstandings would've ensued. He gripped onto the two door handles with his magic and pulled them open. After that, he entered and began to make his way to Twilight's bedroom.
Once he got to Twilight's bedroom door, he entered the already opened door which Thorax assumed that she forgot it close while on her way out.
When he got near the bed, Thorax slowly and cautiously lowered Twilight on the floor, and that resulted her in staggering but, Thorax managed to hold her in place.
"Come on Twilight, I'll get you to-"
Thorax wasn't able to finish his sentence when Twilight leaned in and planted a kiss on Thorax's lips. That made Thorax blush furiously with his eyes widened in surprise. After ten seconds, Twilight released from the kiss with her cheeks red.
"I love you Thorax." Twilight confessed, and that made him very nonplus because, he and her only dated for a couple of weeks. "Lets take this to the limits shall we?" She asked as she placed both her hooves on his shoulders. Then, she began to push him towards her bed.
When Thorax noticed this, he decided to not accept it. Although he does love her as much as she does but, this action would be taking advantage of her, and he loves her too much to do something like that.
So instead, Thorax turned the two of themselves 180 degrees and pushed Twilight towards her bed. That eventually made her trip over and fall on her bed with her eyes spinning in dizziness. Ten seconds later, Twilight succumbed to her alcohol and fell asleep.
"Sweet dreams Twilight." Thorax told her "I love you." He confessed with a warm smile. He walked up towards the bed and leaned his head down, after that, he planted a kiss on her lips. Three seconds later, he released.
After the confession, Thorax turned around and walked towards Twilight's bed room door. Once he got to it, he exited the room and began to make his way to the front doors of Twilight's castle so that he could exit and go back home.
Today sure was a fine festival.
