Chapters Chapter one: The Truth About the Past
“Sunset, where are you?”
“Hi Flash.” She replied. They were at a bus stop where dozens of kids were running around with their suitcases and backpacks.
“There you are, it’s time for the bus to camp to leave.”
“Finally, we've been here for two hours, it’s four in the morning, and it’s so loud that Ray crawled into my backpack and refused to come out.”
“The leopard gecko thinks it’s too loud? His ears are hardly visible.”
“I know, weird right? Anyway, I can’t believe we get to be counselors together.”
“Yhea, finally we don’t have to worry about anyone finding out about us, at least for two months.”
“Thank goodness, hey did you get your list of cabin mates yet?”
“Yes, I got Riptide, Canoe Tipper, strange name, Rocket launch, and a C.I.T named Sunburst.”
Flash listed as he read from his clipboard.
Sunset looked at her’s, “I got Camouflage, Violet, and… this says I have a third camper, but there’s no name.”
“Strange, maybe we can ask later, the bus leaves in two minuets.”
They grabbed their suitcases and climbed onto the bus, which was not in the best shape. Sunset looked back at Flash. “Did you say you have a C.I.T named Sunburst?”
“Yhea, why?”
“Cause I think you got Starlight's friends counterpart.”
“You mean that girl from Equestria that stayed in town for a few days?”
“Yep, never met him though.”
“Why?”
“He’s a wizard, and when I was there visiting Starlight he was in the Crystal Empire trying to teach Flurry Heart how not to set everything she touches on fire.”
“How does a baby set everything she touches on fire?”
“Baby alicon who has more power than Celestia, which I used to think was impossible.”
“Why would it be impossible?”
“Celestia told me herself when I was her pupil, I used to believe everything she told me, which was a big mistake.”
“Not gonna argue with that.”
They both sat next to each other in a seat at the back of the bus.
“You bring your guitar?” Flash said.
“Yep, although I think the camp director asked us to bring our guitars so she wouldn't have to pay any extra money.”
“Probably, looking at this bus, I’m not surprised.”
“Ray, you can come out now.” A little gecko peaked out of her bag.
“Hey Ray, long time no see, glad you're allowed to come with us.” Flash leaned over and kissed Sunset’s cheak. “Nice to have you along with us.”
Sunset smiled at him. “Flash, I'm glad we get to go to camp together.”
“I am too, you realize we're going to be on this bus with a bunch of seven to thirteen year olds for three hours, right?”
“Yes, this is going to be a long ride.”
“Hey, did everything go okay with your friends?”
“What do you mean?”
“Well, I know you didn’t tell them until yesterday that you got a job as a counselor at Glacier View.”
“Yeah, at first, everyone was sort of mad at me for not telling them until the day before I was leaving, then I pointed out how they have been so busy lately and how i've been trying to tell them, then they all started to look down at there shoes like they were guilty or something, and Rainbow Dash said and I quote, “Enough with the guilt fest! Let’s go have a ton of fun before Sunset leaves for two months!” then I pointed out that the camp closes every two weeks for kids to go home and see their family’s, oh Flash, the back of the paper with the campers names explaines that, any way, then Rainbow made us watch the whole Daring Doo movie series, then Pinkie turned on Stormy With a Chance of Pudding.’’
“Didn’t you guys get to be minor characters in one of those?”
“Daring Doo and the lost treasure, yeah we did, I didn't find it as exciting as Rainbow Dash did, and Juniper Montosh hated us until when we were going to the premer, and she trapped us inside a enmagiced mirror, then almost sent us into an eternity of falling through a mirror dimension when she almost broke it, Starlight helped us, and bing bang boom, we had two new friends and made it to the movie, although, I haven't told anyone this, I actually had been in a mirror dimension before.”
“You have? Now you have to tell me that story.”
“You want me to? It’s also the reason I have no idea who my parents are.”
“Could you tell me the whole true story from as far as you can remember? I mean, if you feel alright telling me?”
“You're not gonna tell anyone are you? ‘Cause if Twilight finds out about the parts I didn’t tell her, which is a lot, have you seen how mad she can get? Once while I was visiting her, a book fell off the shelf, when she put it back in, and a different book fell out, and the same thing happened five or six more times and she bent a metal pipe in half .”
“I promise I won’t tell a soul. You know where I sleep.”
“It’s a long story.”
“Good thing this is a long bus ride.”
“Okay, here it goes. I was three years old when Celestia chose me to be her pupil.I was really excited at the time. My mother had planned out my life to ensure success, so I was happy to be doing something that finally made her proud. My dad was always trying to get rid of all the life plan stuff, and loved to get me goofing off and having fun, and I wanted to come back for all of the different holidays, but that's not what Celestria had in mind.”
“So, the first few days I was allowed to explore the castle, but instead of finding my way around, I left and found a big park where I tried to make friends. I met a few others there, but when they saw me, they stomped off like they were mad at me, so when I asked what was wrong, they started to grumble or yell at me about something about me being Celestia’s student.”
“The next day, Celestia called me to one of the highest towers in the castle, which is built into the side of a mountain, so it was pretty high, anyway, when I finished climbing up the steps, she hit me with a big magical blast and I flew out the window. Then I fell on the ground and teleported myself back to the tower. She then told me that I had to do that until I could teleport back to her exactly from one hundred feet off the ground. Same thing happened over and over for the next week, until I finally was able to do it anytime I needed to. Although, I don’t think I ever needed to do it exactly a hundred feet of the ground. So, for the next three years, stuff like that continued, my life was in danger all the time. By then, I had hit my head on so many things I could hardly remember what my home looked like, and Celestia had me staying inside a library studying spells and history during holidays, so I never saw my family. To tell the truth, I feel like I missed my dad more than my mother. All I can remember about her is the fact that she always had a schedule, and was always disappointed. It had been another two years, I begged Celestia to let me go home but she wouldn't have it. Then something hit me and I ended up in a mirror dimension full of pitch black darkness and misery. I walked in every direction, it just goes on like space does, forever. I started to lose all memory of my family. When she-”
“Whow, whow, whow. Didn’t you tell me that you made up with Celestia and apologized when Wallflower found that magical stone and you had to stop her?”
“Yes, while I was there, I figured out that she seriously over exaggerated the story, I went along with it, for the sake of, well, keeping the whole thing a secret, also, while I was there the creepiest thing happened.”
“What?”
“I ran into other you garding a library.”
“Did you literally run into him? ‘Cause that happens to us all the time, it’s a wonder no one’s found out about us yet.”
“No I did not, that would be weird, and Twilight freaking out because Celestia told her about a hidden section of the library was weird enough, and she made me read every book in there.”
“On that note, I would like to apologize.”
“About what? You have nothing to be sorry for.”
“Yhea, I do. Ever since we got back together, and I finally remembered it, I've felt so guilty.”
“Okay, spill, you got that look on your face you make when you have been trying to tell me something important but you're scared to mention it.”
“You can tell when I feel that way?”
“You're really bad at hiding your feelings.”
“Okay, maybe I am. So, when the sirens were here and we were under their spell, do you recall what I said right after Rainbow Dash got shoved off the stage?”
“Oh… that. Yes I do, and I really wish I could forget.”
“Was that the spell, curse thing saying it, or did I really feel that way?” He looked down at the floor.
“Look, the whole school was under a curse, everyone said things that they regret, all we can do about the past is put it behind us.”
“I guess you're right, want to finish your story?”
“Oh, right. Sure, when Celestia let me out, all the sudden I didn’t care anymore, I didn’t care whether I saw my family again, I didn’t care that I couldn’t remember their names or their faces. All I cared about was going on with my studies, and it went the same for about two years until…”
“Until what?”
“Until I found the portal, I found it in a room on one of the days Celestia had to listen to problems and find solutions. I looked into it, and saw this world, and I went through it. I figured out how to walk and wandered around until I was in a park that looked kind of like the one in Canterlot.”
“Makes sense, the two are parallel worlds aren't they? The same with some differences, we literally live in a place called Canterlot City.”
“Exactly, that was when I made my first friend. I had been standing by a tree when someone fell out of it and landed next to me. We became friends and when I went back to the castle that night, I found a book about the mirror hidden away in the library. I found out it would only be open for the next two days, and that it would be almost a more than a year before I could go back, so for the rest of the night, I studied different time spells until I had created my own, which should have kept it open for nearly three years, and I figured before it would close again I could just cast the spell again. I went back whenever I could, seeing my friend, getting to be here worry free, no Celestia to constantly endanger my life. But, after a little more than a year, it closed because I had cast the spell wrong, and I was stuck in Celestia’s castle. I started to grow as cold and bitter as Celestia after everything that had ever happened started to catch up with me. I waited thirty moons, and ran through the portal the last minute it was open so no one could go after me. Then Twilight ended up as Celestia’s student, and me leaving must have made her realize something and everything else just went downhill for me from there.” Tears started to roll down from her eyes. “I was such an awful person.” She buried her head in her hands.
Flash put his arm around her and let her lean closer to him. “Sunset, I don’t think any of what happened is your fault, it sounds more like Celestia’s, and like you said, there’s no use dwelling on our past, what’s important now is we have hope for the future.”
Sunset looked up at him. “I guess you're right, were going to this camp together to have fun and not half to worry about anyone finding out about us, so let’s have as much fun as we can before
we have to go back to school.”
“Sounds like a plan to me. I can’t wait to spend the summer together, this will be fun.”

Chapter 2: One Great First Day
Author's Note
I have created a few new characters to be the campers, enjoy! Also whenever someone uses sign language it will look like this:
"I-like-taco's" Just an example.
Chapter 2: One Great First Day
“What’s going on?” Flash looked down at Sunset who was next to him still asleep. He looked around. The sun was just rising out the window and they were still in the bus as it drove down the road with trees passing by.
“What’s happening?” Sunset sat up and yawned. “Did we… fall asleep together?”
“I think we did, looks like we're in Everfree forest now.”
“Thought that this would end up being more awkward, whait, did you say the E-e-ver-free f-f-forest?”
“Yes, what’s wrong?”
Sunset leaned back in her seat. “That name is supposed to scare anyone who hears it where I come from, Timber wolves, pony eating plants, the haunted castle of the two sisters, my grandmother used to tell me this story about that castle, I actual remember it because she always would sneak around in the shadows when she told the story, it scared me so bad the story became embedded in my memory.”
“Really? There’s actually the remains of a small castle here, and it used to belong to two sisters who ruled over an old city that used to be here about… wow one thousand and fifty years ago.” He looked down at his phone.
“Is it haunted?”
“No, I don’t think so, why?”
“In the story my grandmother told me that when nightmare moon got trapped in the moon by Celestia, not all her dark magic went with her, and it formed a murderous ghost of dark magic that romes the castle and goes after anyone stupid enough to be in there, well, except the rightful keepers of the elements of harmony.”
“Is that what that crown was called?”
“The element of magic, yes, our pendants are reflections of them, honesty, kindness, laughter, generosity, loyalty and magic, the crown from the fall formal is the element of magic.”
“Wait a minute, if those pendants are reflections of the six elements of friendship, and there are seven pendants, shouldn't there be seven elements of harmony?”
“I never thought much about it, that is weird.”
“What’s yours called?”
“As far as I know, I don’t have one.”
“You have a pendant, don’t you?”
“Yes.”
“Then maybe you do have one.”
“Quit trying to make the beginning of summer so confusing.” She gently nudged his shoulder.
“Sorry, I-” the sound of the speaker interrupted him.
“Attention all campers, we have reached Camp Glacier View, any counselors on this bus need to get off first so you can sign in and wait for your campers to be directed to you.”
“That’s us.” Flash got up from his seat and Sunset followed.
About three others got up and the group climbed off the bus. Everyone went to the back and got their things from the back of the bus.
“What cabin did you get?” Flash looked back at Sunset as they walked to the sign in table.
“I got dear, what did you get?”
“I got eagle cabin.”
They reached the sign in table, and Wallflower greeted them.
“Wallflower?” They both said in unison.
“Hey Sunset, Flash, nice to see you here, although you're the last two people I would think i’d see together.”
“Please tell me no one else who comes to our school is here.” Sunset looked at Flash who had the same worried expression on his face.
“Nope, only the three of us.”
“Please don’t tell anyone.” Flash said.
“I won’t, I owe Sunset, I did use a magical stone to make everyone at school hate her, although the fact that you're here together explains why you were the only one out of seven hundred students that I never heard trash talking her.”
“You realize i’m right here, right?”
“Hey, it’s time for the campers to go settle into their cabins, you need to go meet them.”
Sunset and Flash said bye and walked away to the group of campers gathering on the lawn. Someone ran up to them and looked at Flash.
“Hi, my name is Sunburst, are you my councillor?”
“Yes, Flash Sentry, nice to meet you.”
Sunburst looked at Sunset. “You look just like my older sister.”
“Okay, my name is Sunset.”
“Same name too, if we were in my town, I'd think you actually were my sister, and Flash, why do you have the last name ‘Sentry’? Doesn't that word mean a soldier stationed to keep control or gaurd a specific place?”
“Yes, and the way you said it made you sound like you swallowed a dictionary, can you help me find Riptide, Canoe Tipper and Rocket launch?”
“Sure.”
“Okay, looks like you two got this handled, I'm going to find my campers.”
Flash kissed her cheek. “Bye Sunset.”
“Bye Flash.”
Sunset walked away and looked around. A girl who looked about thirteen caught her eye. She walked up to her. “Hi, I’m Sunset, and I’m guessing you're Violet.” and Violet really lived up to her name. She had dark purple hair, a light violet shirt with a purple jacket, purple shorts, and a pair of dark Violet shoes.
“I sure am, so you’re my councillor, huh?”
“Yep.”
“Who are my other cabin mates?”
“You have another named Camouflage and another that I still can’t find the name of.”
“I think I know who Camouflage is.”
“Really, where is she?”
“I met her on the bus ride here, she’s the girl who looks like she’s going to war over there. Hey! Camouflage! I found our counselor! Come on over and meet her!”
Another girl about the same age as Violet ran over to them and saluted. “Camouflage reporting for duty ma’am!”
“I’m a councillor, not a general, drop the military speak.”
“Okay, sorry, I live in a military base and my parents thought it would be good for me to come here and make some friends.”
“Well if there's anyone who knows how important friendship is, it’s me.”
“Why’s that?”
“Check the Canterlot high school website, go under the tab ‘magical happenings’ and it explains everything from the moment Twilight showed up, if you go to our school you can access it, principal Celestia did something to were only Cantorlot High students can get to it.”
“Who’s Twilight?”
“A pony princess from another dimension.”
“WHAT?”
“Would you believe I actually grew up there too?”
“Okay, I’m glad I get to go to Canterlot high for the eighth grade, and I want you to tell me all the stories behind all this stuff you're talking about.”
“Or you could read the books I made, I swear if Sci-Twi finds out I wrote a book and didn’t let her read it first she’s gonna kill me.” Sunset reached into her suitcase and Ray crawled up to her shoulder.
“Is that a leopard gecko?”
“Yes, the camp director let me bring him, his name is Ray.”
“Is that a guitar case?”
“Yes, me and a friend are supposed to play music during the campfires during camp, and you know, you ask a lot of questions.” She handed a few small notebooks to Camouflage.
“Thanks. One more question?”
“Go for it.”
“Do we have any other cabin mates or is it just the three of us?”
“Thanks for reminding me, her name isn't on my list, where-.” she was cut off by the sound of a car driving up to the camp entrance. It was a police car, and an officer got out of it.
Camouflage marched up to him. “Officer ski? What’s going on?”
“Good morning Ms. Camouflage, I was ordered to come here to drop off silence as part of their nature rehabilitation program.”
“Who’s silence?”
“Well, ma’am, we don’t know what her real name is, she came from juvie.”
Sunset ran up to them. “Is this possibly the non name camper that i’m supposed to have?”
“Yes, GET OUT HERE!”
A girl about thirteen or fourteen climbed out of the police car. She scowled at everyone.
“This is who we call silence, because she is a thief who is never heard or seen when she steals.”
Silence rolled her eyes and opened her mouth, then started to move her hands into different symbols.
“Do any of you know what she's doing, she won’t talk, and keeps doing that all the time!”
Sunset tilted her head. “She’s using sign language, which means she probably can’t talk. I learned what sign language was and how to do it when I first came to this world.”
Officer Ski looked at her. “Came to this world?”
“Long, long story.”
“Can you tell us what she’s saying?”
“Sure. Can you tell us what your name is?”
“I-don’t-have-a-name-my-parents-died-when-I-was-four.”
“Can I call you June?”
“Sure-I-guess-so.”
“These are your cabin mates Camouflage and Violet, I am your councillor, Sunset.”
Violet looked up at her. “Why don’t you have to use sign language to ask her stuff?”
“I’m-mute-not-deaf-you-blockhead.”
“What did she say?”
Sunset looked over to Violet then back to June. “She said “I’m mute not deaf you blockhead.””
“Hey!” Violet crossed her arms.
Camouflage tilted her head. “What did she say her name was?”
“She’s gonna let us call her June, she doesn't remember her name because her parents died when she was four.”
Sunset heard footsteps and turned to see Flash walking over to her. She smiled. “Hey Flash, this is Camouflage, that's Violet, and this is June, she’s mute, and part of a nature rehabilitation program.”
“Thank Goodness, I thought the government was taking you in to interrogate you about the other world and the magic pendants.”
Camouflage stared at him. “Is this guy on drugs or something?”
“Sunset sighed and shook her head. “No he’s not, this is my friend Flash, and read those notebooks I gave you, what he just said will make a lot more sense once you have.”
“Good to meet you all, hey Ski.”
“Flash Sentry, long time no see.”
“You two know each other?” Sunset said.
Flash shrugged. “He’s one of my parent’s friends. The last time I saw him I was ten.”
“I need to get going Ms. Camouflage.”
“You may officer.”
Officer Ski drove away and June watched the car leave. “This-is-the-first-time-in-a-year-and-a-half- I-haven't-been-near-a-part-of-the-police-force.”
As she signed, Sunset translated so everyone knew what she was saying. “Okay, Flash, we can meet up later at lunch, campers, where in deer cabin, right over there, grab your things, and unpack fast, I’m planning on giving you some sign language lessons so you can understand June.”
“I-don’t-have-anything-to-unpack,-i’m-a-fellen,-remember?”
“Okay, we’ll figure something out. Camouflage, you have any clothes June can borrow? I would ask Violet, but i’m pretty sure everything she owns is purple.”
“Sure, lets go to our cabin.”
They all walked in the direction of their cabin, June ran toward it and looked through the window. She turned back to them, and like before, as she signed, Sunset translated. “This-is-cool-i’ve-only-ever-slept
outside-or-in-a-jail-cell.”
Sunset opened the door and looked around. It seemed very nice and peaceful. “Okay, everyone choose a bed, then unpack. June, could you try using different symbols like nodding and pointing? Just until everyone can understand sign language a little better.”
June nodded, and climbed onto a bed in the corner. She sat down and started to look bored.
Sunset looked back at June. “I brought an extra blanket and sheet you can have, and you already have a pillow.” She walked over to June and handed her an extra sheet and blanket.
June smiled up at her. “Can-I-have-a-hairbrush? I-think-I-should-probably
-look-less-like-a-criminal -at-lunch.”
“Of course, Camouflage can let you borrow some clothes for today and I can ask the director if I can go into town and get you some tomaro.”
Camouflage handed her a white shirt with yellow sleeves, jeans, and a pair of white and aqua tennis shoes. June walked away to the bathroom to change.
Sunset walked outside and came back with some leaves, a flower, some pebbles and a small handful of dirt. .
Violet looked at Sunset. “What are those for?”
Sunset let Ray crawl from her shoulder down to the mini dresser next to her bed. Sunset put everything down next to Ray and he started to move different things into different places.
“Ray, he likes to fit things together to make pictures, which makes me wonder if I should bring him to arts and crafts tomorrow and let him arrange some stained glass, Fluttershy would love that.” She pointed to Ray who had arranged everything to look like a crab.
“You're not putting him in a terrarium?”
“No, I never do, he stays in his spot and doesn't really leave it, and even when he goes outside he never goes that far and always comes back.”
“Wow, he really likes you as his owner.”
“Friend."
“Whatever.”
June walked out of the bathroom now wearing the clothes that Camouflage had lent her and sat down on her bed brushing her hair, out until it was flat and reached to her shoulders.
Violet looked over at her. “Well that’s certainly a big improvement.”
Both June and Sunset rolled their eyes at Violet not knowing it was less of a compliment and more of an insult.
Sunset, Violet and Camouflage all finished making their beds and unpacking. “Well girls, since we finished a little early, how about we all get to know each other a little better?”
Everyone sat down on the floor and listened to each other's interests and hobbies, Sunet shared a few stories about her friends, Violet told them about her family moving to Canterlot city, and Camo described her life on the army base she lived in. Then it was June’s turn.
Sunset translated for her because pointing and nodding wouldn't really work this time around.
“My-name-is-June,-I-live-in-juvy,-and-I-used-to-share-a-cell-with-a-girl-that-had-a
-mustache,-a-bald-head-and-a-necklace-made-of-human-fingers.”
“Now I'm a little frightened that we share a cabin.” Violet said and continued to look worried.
“You-better-be.”
“What does that mean?” She looked over at Sunset.
“She… uhh… said you have no need to worry.” Sunset quickly replied. “It’s time to go to lunch now, since today’s the first day we get to explore camp afterward, and please don’t try archery when there’s not a councillor around, the director told us that last year some kid got pinned to a target by his shirt.”
*****
Sunset and her campers made their way to the mess hall, where dozens of campers sat together enjoying their food with the rest of their cabin. Sunset led her campers to the line where the camp cook was scooping out the food and strangely enough, when it landed on the plates it didn’t lose its shape.
Sunset leaned over and whispered to the girls. “Maybe we should just get some salad instead, I’m vegetarian anyway.” The three of them nodded in agreement.
After getting their food they looked around for a table to sit at. “Hey Sunset.”
She turned around to see Flash shyly smiling at her, and met his gaze with the same smile. Both the deer and falcon cabin campers looked at eachother then back at their councillors. Sunset and Flash snapped out of their trance when they noticed their campers staring at them.
“Oh, umm, hi Flash, nice to see you.”
“Nice to see you too Sunset, so I… thought, maybe after the campfire tonight we could, I don’t know, go on a canoe ride?” Flash smiled hopefully.
Sunset smiled and her face went red. Did he just ask me on a date? “That sounds like fun, yhea, I would like that.” ...and did I just agree to it?! Oh jeez my face is red.
….
….
….
After an awkward moment of silence the two councillors lead their campers to their tables. As soon as they sat down June hit her with a question.
“You-two-dating? I-swear-your-face-when-he-asked-you-to-join-him-on-that-canoe-ride.”
“No, I mean, maybe , we go to school together.”
Camo and Violet smirked.
What is that supposed to mean?!
Violet decided to change the subject. “That’s a pretty necklace you're wearing, can I see it?”
“Well… it’s very fragile and-” Camo cut her off. “Gives you the power to see others' memories and thoughts when you touch them, and also your friends, levitation, super speed, creating crystals, super strength, talking to animals, and… causing sweets to explode when they're thrown, they also give you pony ears, and wings.”
“How on earth did you know that?”
Camo took out the notebook about camp everfree. “I decided to start reading these.”
“Ooh… tell me what i’m thinking right now.” Violet said excitedly and grabbed Sunset’s hand.
“Purple pizza with grape ice cream on top?”
“Whow. I was thinking that! You can read minds!”
“Keep it down, you guys and Flash are the only ones at this camp that know about it, and it’s gonna be weird enough when we play our guitars at the campfire together and pony ears appear on my head.”
“Hey Camo?”
“Yhea Violet?”
“Can I borrow those when you're done with them?”
Camo shrugged. “Can you read cursive?”
Violet looked offended. “Of course I can read cursive! I’m not stupid!”
June smiled. “I-wouldn’t-bet-on-it.”
“June, that's not funny.” Sunset shook her head.
“What did she say?” Violet demanded.
“Nothing Violet, let’s just say she wasn’t a fan of that comment about the big improvement from earlier.”
“Sorry, I think it came out wrong.”
Camo raised an eyebrow. “You think?”
“Okay girls, what do you want to do first after lunch?” Sunset said after swallowing a bite of her salad.
Violet, “Make friendship bracelets!”
Camo, “tug a war!”
June let a smug smile spread across her face. “Archery.”
“Okay, we can do all those things before the dinner and the campfire.”
“And-you're-date.”
“Quit it June, and please don’t pin Violet to the target during archery.”
“Say what now?”
After they had their fun doing their activities, there was still an hour until dinner, and the painted orange and yellow sun set over the lake while the ski turned brilliant shades of pink purple and blue.
The current campers in deer cabin sat at the picnic table as June and Sunset taught them basic sign language so they could understand June. June made different symbols with her hands and Sunset explained what each one meant.
“Violet, what does this mean?”
“I think it means hello, but why do I half answer questions? Camo doesn't have to.”
Sunset sighed. “It means goodbye, and I was asking you that because you don’t seem to be paying attention.”
“I am so!”
“Yhea-to-the-boys-playing-rock-paper-scissors-by-the-mess-hall.”
Violet tilted her head. “What does that mean?”
Camo jumped up and down. “I know, I know! She said “Yhea to the boys playing rock-paper-scissors by the mess hall!”’
Violet crossed her arms. “I’m sure that’s not what she said.”
Sunset smiled at Camo. “No, she’s pretty spot on, you're a quick learner.”
“YAY!” Camo seemed to be extremely excited to have Sunset compliment her for picking up so fast.
Sunset looked at her watch. “It’s time for us to get our dinner, where all eating outside by the campfire tonight, hey June, you ever have a smore?”
“Yes,-wait-what’s-a-smore?”
Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter. Chapter 4: During the wrath of Anon-a-Miss

This chapter talks about Anon-a-Miss a bit, just saying in case some pony hasn't read the comic.
Chapter 4: During the wrath of Anon-a-Miss
Yelling, arguing, name calling, secrets spread for the school for everyone to see. Everyone was fighting, her friends thought she was the cause of all this, but she wasn’t. No one trusted her, everyone completely hated her instead.
Who’s been doing this? Sunset’s thoughts were only on trying to get her friends back and staying away from as many angry students as possible. Why are they targeting the blame on me? Why do my friends not believe I'm innocent, well ex-friends. If I did manage to somehow earn their trust again, if something like this happened again, will I be the first to blame? Would they just push me out again? With only a book that she got messages in from Twilight? Princess Twilight was probably the only one that believed her, and she had her problems to deal with in her world, so she couldn't come and help. Sunset didn’t expect her to come every time something magical happened, much less come when a cyber-bully showed up and tried to pin everything on her.
Leaving her last class, everyone glared at her in the hallway, and said offensive words as she walked by, this had been happening for nearly a week, she was used to it. Just a few days ago someone had taken a red permanent marker, somehow managed to open her locker door, (Which was thankfully empty) and wrote ‘Everyone hates you Anon-a-Miss.’ She had managed to get it off, after spending every ten minute break in between each class washing it off.
The hallway was empty, and just as she turned the corner something made a chill go up her spine. She turned around and saw the scariest part, a group of four or five students where rushing at her, and the next thing she knew she was on the floor in the corner and they punched her and one who had extremely sharp nails scratch them across the side of her face and blood started to slowly fill the scratches. She heard what had to be the leader of the group laugh in a menacing way. “Kill her.”
No, I’m not going down today. Sunset threw a fist at the person in front of her causing them to fall down in shock. Sunset ran, faster than ever, toward the exit of the school. They ran after her, out the back exit. As soon as she had turned the corner, something hit her and she fell to the ground, the same thing that had happened in the hallway repeating itself. They punched her harder than before, more sharp nails digging into the side of her face.
“WHAT’S GOING ON?! SUNSET!”
Whoever it was had just come to her rescue, because all of the angry students seemed to be distracted. “WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING TO HER!?” The voice was loud and sounded extremely angry. Everyone who had been attacking her ran off, afraid the loud voice would catch the principal's attention.
Then everything went dark.
*****
Sunset’s eyes blinked open and she sat up. She looked around. A soft blanket was wrapped around her and she was on the couch in her apartment. She looked down at her arm and noticed there was a cast wrapped around it, then felt her face where a bandages where covering the scratches along it. I was so hoping that was just a dream. Wait a minute, how did I get back home?
“Oh thank goodness you're awake.”
Sunset stared at the person smiling at her. “Flash? What happened? I feel like I just awoke from the dead.”
Flash sighed. “Those kids at the school gave you a hard time.”
“A hard time?” She pointed to a bandage on her face. “That girl's nails are like daggers! But that doesn't explain how I got here, and why you're here.”
Flash sat down next to her and sighed again. “Well… I was leaving school when I heard shouting, so I followed it to the back of the school. I saw them surrounding you, hurting you, I got mad and they ran off because I threatened to take it to vice principal Luna, she’s a lot scarier than principal Celestia. Anyway, they ran off, but you had blacked out, so I carried you to my car and brought you back here after going back to my place to get a first aid kit.”
“You keep a first aid kit at your house?”
“I have a crazy little sister.”
“Okay.” Why out of all the people in the world would he help me?
“I left you here that night and came back around an hour ago to check on you, I was even more worried when you were still asleep and had a fever.”
“Wait, Are you telling me that I was asleep for a full day, and that you were the one who helped me?”
“Yes.”
“Why would you help me? The whole school hates me, even my friends, Rainbow Dash said she hated me herself and then said she wished I had never come here in the first place, then tore a picture of us all together into shreds.”
“She said that to you?”
“Yes, you know how she can get when she’s angry.” Sunset stared down at the floor as tears started to fill her eyes.
“I believe you.”
“You… what?”
“I believe you, I know you better than anyone, you're way too smart to make that account so obvious that everyone thinks it’s you after only the second post, you’d never do anything this bad even before the fall formal, and I…” he pulled her in for a hug and kissed her forehead.
“Flash I’m so sorry!” she cried, tears spilling from her eyes. Why does he still like me? After all that I did? Is he the only one who cares?
“Shim-shine, please don’t cry, you have nothing to be sorry about.”
Sunset looked into his deep blue loving eyes, there was no hatred, just sadness and love.
Why did this have to happen? It’s like when the sirens showed up but a thousand times worse. Only one person believes me, the guitar playing all smiles goofball that I met when I first came here. She forced the blush off her face when she thought about the time they shared together.
Flash smiled at her. “You want something to eat? I know you have to be hungry.”
“A little.”
“A little you say? You haven't eaten since yesterday morning.”
“How do you know that?”
“I was looking for you in the cafeteria, you never showed up.”
“Fair enough, I was reading a book in the library.”
Flash stood up. “I know your favorite.”
“Fine, see you in a little bit.” Sunset tried to stand up but fell back onto the couch. “Don’t tell me, my ankle is sprained too.”
“Yep, hey if I see the Rainbooms I’ll give them a taste of their own medicine for making you so sad.”
Sunset giggled. “Flash your such a goofball.”
“I was trying to get you to say that, but I’m serious.”
Sunset shrugged. “I wouldn’t mind this Anon-a-Miss to, *air quotes*, “Take a hike.”
“Me neither, but remind me never to cross you.”
“Whatever you say.”
Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter. Chapter 6: Back home: Part one
“Twilight, I’m telling you, Pinkie sense don’t lie! Sunset fell out of her canoe last night on a date and got mad at someone for not telling her part of her hair was purple last december then they laughed and said I’m the strangest thing at our school, then did an imitation of me doing my Pinkie sense!”
“Okay, see if I did believe you, who would she be on a date with? I’ve only been here with you guys since the friendship games, but I’ve seen her turn down a lot of students when they ask, she told me that used to happen a lot after the battle of the bands.”
“She is very pretty, I just wish she would wear one of the dresses I’ve made her.” Rarity sighed.
Twilight put Spike down on the floor and took a sip of the smoothie she had ordered when they reached Sugar Cube Corner. “She doesn't like that kind of fancy stuff, all those that you have made her are covered in frills and different colors and gemstones.”
“Well we ain’t gettin anywhere with this conversation, let's get on with the real reason we came here to talk.” Applejack looked serious, then shook her head. “Why did we never ask her when her birthday is, or anything about her past?”
All of them looked down. Fluttershy decided to speak up. “I guess we were all so busy with our lives that we forgot to help with her past, which might be why she left for the summer, do you guys know if anyone that’s friends with her at school went to camp?”
Rainbow didn’t seem to be paying attention, so Twilight answered. “I don’t know, we really have been too busy to pay attention to what was happening in her life, I mean, she says we're like family to her, but she lives alone with Ray, and her family is on the other side of that statue, probably worried sick.”
Rainbow finally looked up from her phone. “They probably think she’s dead.”
All their heads but Pinkie’s turned to her and scowled.
“What? Just stating the facts.”
Pinkie looked up and started to shake, then stopped. “Sunset’s parents think she’s still Celestia’s student and the princess never told them she was gone. Sunset’s father is currently being dragged away from the palace by two guards for the 51,678,546 time over the course of twelve years, yelling about how he hasn't seen his daughter since she was three years old.”
“I’m sure that’s not happening, and if it was, twelve years pulse three is fifteen, Sunset’s not fifteen, if she was, she would have been in ninth last year and going into tenth, but we're all going into the eleventh.” Twilight said, still not believing in ‘Pinkie sense.’
“All these numbers are making my brain hurt.” Rainbow said before sucking down the last of her milkshake.
“That’s just brain freeze, and it’s not good for you to drink that much of a cold sugary beverage so fast, although Pinkie is okay to do it, I still can’t find a scientific answer as to why she can do stuff like that with no side effects.”
“Quit it Twi, no learning during the summer break!”
“Fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine.”
Rainbow started to eat her burger, for some reason trying to talk through it.
“No wonder Sunset left.”
“What do you mean Twilight?” Rarity looked over at her and tilted her head.
“Rainbow, you're eating a hamburger, when I found out she was from a place where cows talk I became vegetarian, and Fluttershy’s been one for..”
“Seven years.” Fluttershy answered.
“What my point is, you're not very considerate about her feelings, nor the rest of you, Pinkie has the right idea, everyone except for me and Fluttershy, when Sunset comes for the weekend, you're gonna be vegetarian for the weekend.”
“Oh ‘C’MON!”
“Rainbow Dash, Sunset’s our friend! Not ‘everythin can be about you!” Applejack glared at her friend, who was currently shoving fries in her mouth.
“But she doesn't care!”
“Have you paid attention at lunch?! She turned green and once had to run out of the cafeteria to the bathroom and vomited!” Twilight looked angry.
“So, I umm..”
She looked like she was going to scream. “Quit trying to come up with a comeback! You need to be more considerate about her feelings.”
Rainbow looked down and sighed. “Okay, I’ll do it for Sunset.”
Twilight looked satisfied and finished off her smoothie. “Good, know let's plan out what we can all do together during the weekend when she comes back.”
"There's a new Daring Do movie coming out, we can go see that." Rainbow said. "Then we can go to equestria to get the counterpart Daring Do to sign- I mean go to visit Twilight."
"We can go on a nature walk, I see Sunset in the park all the time near the flowers or the pond." Fluttershy said as she ate her apple.
"Then we can come back here and eat a late lunch." Applejack said.
"Project best weekend ever!" Pinkie shouts.

Chapter 8: Back home: Part two, Sunset’s back.
Sunset looked at the bus and back at June. “Why don’t you come with me and Flash? I can introduce you to the girls, and you can come with us on whatever they planned.”
“I-would-like-to,-thanks,-sounds-like-fun,-do-they-know-about-you-and-Flash?”
“No, please don’t tell them, we made a promise.”
“I-won’t-tell.-So,-the-purple-nerd-is-Twilight,-cotton candy hair is Pinkie,-rainbow-hair-is-
Rainbow- dash,-the-wite-and-purple-one-that-always-says-‘Darling’-is-Rarity,-Country- accents-is-Applejack,-and-shy-girl-is-Fluttershy,-right?”
“Yep. Only please don’t call them that to their faces, except for Pinkamena, she loves when people compare her to candy.”
*****
“So, while we're back home, do you want to come to my house? Meet my parents?” Flash said. He looked out the window of the bus at the buildings passing by.
Sunset shrugged. “Sure, never have before, and how long has it been since we got back together?”
“Since December when Anon-a-Miss was around, so… I’d say about a little less than half a year.”
“Half a year? It’s been more time than I thought.”
“Next thing you know I’ll be down on one ne asking you the big question, did I say that out loud?”
“Aww, you love me that much?” Sunset smiled, causing Flash to turn red.
“Yes, so are you good at three?”
“Sounds good to me.” The bus came to a halt and Sunset let Ray climb onto her shoulder. She walked to the front of the bus where June was sitting. “Ready June?”
June stood up and waved goodbye to Riptide, who she had sat with the whole bus ride. Riptide had figured out most sign language, so it was easier to talk now.
Sunset walked out of the bus first, and was tackled by a wave of hot pink cotton candy hair. “Sunset! Happy birthday! Hi tiny lizard!” Pinkie practically yelled.
“Okay, Pinkie let go of me!”
“Okie dokie!”
“First, it’s not my birthday, second the tiny lizard is actually a gecko, and his name is Ray, you should know that by now.”
All the rest of her friends pulled her in for a hug as the bus drove off. Once they let go, they looked around her and saw a thirteen year old girl with light red berry colored skin, white freckles like Applejacks, and pink peach hair with light blue stripes through it.
“Uhh Sunset who’s that?” Twilight pointed to June, but before she could answer, Pinkie grabbed June and hugged her tight. “Hi! I’m Pinkamena Pie! Pinkie Pie! YAY FOR NEW FRIENDS! What’s your name?!”
“Pinkie, she’s-” Applejack cut her off. “Why are you here with Sunset?
“GUYS! Listen!”
“Sorry darling, but why isn't she answering?”
“This is June, she’s from juvie, she came to camp for a nature rehabilitation program, and she’s mute. I invited her to come stay with me during the weekend because she has no one to come home to this weekend.”
Fluttershy’s eyes started to tear up. “That’s the saddest thing i’ve ever heard!”
Twilight just looked sceptical. “You want me to spend the weekend with a criminal?”
Sunset raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms. “Does her background story sound familiar to you?”
Twilight’s eyes went wide. “Sorry, I didn’t think about it that way.”
“Ha! Look who the inconsiderate one is now!” Rainbow smirked.
“Enough, Rainbow, that aint that nice, of course June can come with us on our day we planned.”
“You guys planned out the day?” Sunset smiled. “Sounds fu-” Rarity interrupted her by grabbing her arm. “Darling! How many friends have you made at camp?!”
Sunset looked down at her arm which had ten or so friendship bracelets on it. “Well, I -”
“You simply must tell me everyone you got these from! The designs! I have had inspiration! I can create a whole new line! Just what I needed! Creativity block has lasted ever since you left!”
“I will later, so what do you guys have planned first?”
“First, we're going to watch the new Daring Do movie, then we can go take a nice relaxing walk on the nature trail, then we can visit princess Twilight, by the way Sunset, we found the old journal that you ran out of space in and managed to get a few sentences into it, she said we can meet Flurry Heart! Then we can go to the Sugar Cube Corner.” Twilight read of a list made on a notepad as she said this.
“Umm… Twi, do you know who Flurry Heart is?”
“I don’t really know, I thought that was just another one of other Twilight’s friends.”
“Oh jeez… this is not going to end very well, listen, Principal Cadence at Crystal Prep, you brother who works there, there counterparts are a princess and captain of the royal guard and… there… Married.”
“There WHAT?!”
“And Flurry Heart… is Twilight’s niece, which also makes her-”
“MY COUNTERPART BROTHER AND PRINCIPAL CADENCE’S COUNTERPART ARE MARRIED AND HAVE A DAUGHTER NAMED FLURRY HEART?!”
“Twilight! Calm down! It’s Equestria, not Earth!”
“Okay… I’m calm, I'm calm.”
“Know let go of me.”
“Okay.” Twilight let go of Sunset and took a deep breath. “Sorry, it’s just a lot to comprehend.”
“I understand, know, when did the new Daring Do movie come out? I've never heard about it.”
*****
After the movie and nature walk, the Rainbooms gathered by the portal to Equestria, and talked about the movie while they waited for Rainbow Dash, who insisted on going to get her Daring Do books so A.K. yearling could sign them, after finding out a few months ago that in Equestria all Daring Do’s adventures were real and her counterpart was friends with her, she had been eager to go and meet her.
In the movie, it had turned out that Ahuizoti wasn't dead after all and came after Daring Do, and as always, Daring Do got the lost relic or whatever she had been after this time, and made it out of another dire situation. In Sunset’s opinion, the book had been better, and Twilight had agreed, while Rainbow loved both equally.
Rainbow Dashed up to them with a huge stack of books in her arms. (Pun intended) And she launched herself through the statue without a second thought.
Sunset ran in after her, followed by all her friends. “Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!” Pinkie let out a squeal of excitement while they were in between the worlds.
Everything was upside down, and the Rainbooms groaned as they wobbled onto their hooves. Everyone except Sunset was there, and they all looked around.
“Guys! I’m here, June and I were looking for Twilight, but we found a Flurry instead.” They all looked around, and their mouths dropped open when they saw a tiny baby alicorn with light tinted pink fur, with purple and blue hair, flying above them from the next room laughing.
“Girls! Thank Goodness you found her, I couldn't find Flurry anywhere! I still can’t find my way around this castle!” Princess Twilight flew up and started to make silly faces at Flurry, and they both landed back on the ground.
“Umm… Sunset, why is there a fowl hiding behind you?”
“June, come out, no one is going to arrest you.” June walked out from behind Sunset and looked up at Twilight.
“Who are you? Twilight smiled.
“Her name is June, but she’s mute.” Sunset said.
Flurry wandered up to June and jumped up and down. “Fwy! Fwy! Equa la loo la!”
“Flurry, June can’t talk.” Twilight explained, but Flurry wasn’t having it.
“LA EQUASO TI LO!” Flurry shot a magic blast from her horn and before anyone could stop her it hit June. June fell backwards and yelled at the top of her lungs, “WHAT THE HECK DID YOU DO THAT FOR?!”
Everyone stared at June like she was radioactive. June stood up and her eyes went wide. “Did I just… talk? I did it again! What happened? I can talk!” June started to jump up and down and flap the pair of wings on her back, causing her to lift into the air. She flew around the room. “I can talk! I can hear my voice! It’s not just in my head anymore! People can hear me! Thank you Flurry Heart! Thank you!” She landed next to Flurry and gave her a hug.
“We baloo!” Flurry jumped up and down again once June let her go.
“When we go back to camp I can do the sing alongs with everyone else! I can talk to other people when I have stuff in my hands! Whoo whooo!”
Twilight whispered to Sunset, “I think I should introduce her to Scootaloo.”
“Good idea.”
*****
After spending a few hours with Twilight and Flurry, meeting princess Cadence, Shining Armor, catching up with Starlight, The new leader of the changelings Thorax, one weird part when Twilight introduced, or showed the broken bits of the storm king to them, (which had really creeped her out), and keeping up with June, everyone was tired and agreed it was a good thing that they were going to Sugar Cube Corner, one they were extremely hungry, two, there were tables there.
They all walked inside and took their place at a table. “Why hello girls, nice to see you all, and who’s this little one?”
“I can finally introduce myself without help, hi I’m June!”
“I’m Mrs. Cake, what did she mean by that?”
Pinkie leaned over. “Remember when I told you about our school secret?”
“Yes.”
“We went to the pony world and she was mute but then a baby alicorn shot her with a blast of magic and she could talk.”
“Whatever you say, so what would you girls like? The usual?”
“Rainbow, remember what we talked about?” Twilight forced a smile.
“I’ll have a salad with a side of french fries and a cinnamon and spice donut.”
“Okay, and what would you like June?”
“I never got to pick food that doesn't taste like rocks before, except for when we were at camp, can I have a tomato sandwich, a mini cupcake and some water?”
“Sure sweetie I-”
“The TWINS ARE ATTACKING! THE TWINS ARE ATTACKING!” Mr. Cake ran out of the kitchen. “Thank goodness! Pinkie Pie, Twilight, get in here and put some use to those powers of yours!”
Pinkie and Twilight looked at eachother and stood up. “Okay, those Cake twins are going down for a nap.” Both of them went back to the kitchen with Mr. Cake but ran out back to the table covered in flour and sprinkle’s.
“We lost the battle!” Pinkie announced.
“In less than ten seconds.” Twilight growned.
“I’ll give it a try.” Sunset stood up and walked away to the kitchen. Just a few seconds later she came back with two one year olds, not even a speck of dust on her.
“How did you do that?!” Everyone said in unison.
“I just said, ‘Stop it you two.’ and stayed calm.” Everyone stared at her.
“Okay… not how I was expecting you to get them to stop.” Mr. Cake picked up the twins and went back into the kitchen and up the stairs.
Sunset walked back to the table and they all ate their food. “Hey Twi? What time is it?”
Twilight pulled out her phone. “It’s 2:48.”
“I’m gonna be late!” Sunset grabbed her bag and ran out the door, but came back and looked over at them from the door. “Can you watch June?”
“Sure, but what are you late for?” Twilight said quizzingly.
“Thanks, bye!” Sunset ran back out the door and down the street.
“What was that all about?” Fluttershy said.
“I don’t know. Why she run off like that?” Applejack said.
Rarity looked at the door. “She’s up to something, and obviously she’s meeting someone.”
Rainbow rolled her eyes. “I agree she’s up to something, but I’m sure she’s not meeting someone.”
“You have no idea.” June shook her head and went back to her food.
“What?” Pinkie tilted her head.
“Nothing.”
******
Sunset ran to Flash’s house, fast as she could go, until she found herself in the driveway in just a few minutes. Someone taped her shoulder. She turned around. “You realize that if I didn’t know it was you you’d be on the ground right now, right?”
Flash laughed. “I know.”
“How did you get behind me anyway?”
“I saw you and snuck around the back of the house.”
“You are a goofball.”
“And I was also trying to get you to say that, I love it when you smile.” Flash took her hand and they walked up to the door. Flash opened it, but was immediately tackled by a small black and white puppy. “Banana! Get off of me!”
Banana jumped off of Flash and he stood up. “Sunset, meet my dog, Banana.”
“Banana?” She giggled.
“My little sister named him.”
“That really is adorable.”
A little girl about ten walked down the hallway and picked Banana up. “Hi.” She looked just like her brother, except with a lighter tint of blue in her eyes and longer hair. “My name’s Compass Rose, what’s your name?”
“Sunset Shimmer, nice to meet you.”
“Are you the girl who came from that other dimension to this one?”
“How did she know that?” Sunset whispered to Flash.
“There’s not a lot in this town she doesn't know about, even school secrets.”
“Flash, your friend here?” a voice called from the living room.
“Yes dad.” Flash led Sunset to the living room where a person about in his forties was sitting on the couch. He stood up, he was only about two or three inches taller than her, but he seemed to tower over her as an evil/hateful grin spread across his face. “So what’s your name?”
“S..s..sun-” she seemed to have a panic attack then fell on the floor.
“DAD!”
“I didn’t do anything!”
“I told you to stop using that look!”
“Well that shouldn't have made her pass out.”
“Sunset has had anxiety attacks since the Anon-a-Miss thing happened! They only get to this point when she’s gotten beaten up or scared out of her life, which I told you!”
“What’s going on in there?” Compass walked in with Banana still in her arms with Flash’s mother following behind. “Oh, oh my.”
Flash gently picked Sunset up and laid her on the couch, then grabbed a blanket and laid it on top of her. “Dad, please quit it with the army act, Lightning is less terrifying, and he once tied me to a chair when we were younger and played, ‘how many knives do I have to throw at six year old Flash before they slice of the rope?’ I had nightmares for weeks!”
“W..what’s happening?” Sunset sat up and looked around. But as soon as she caught sight of Flash’s father glaring at her, she had another panic attack and curled up in the corner of the couch.
Flash sat down next to her and gave her a hug. “It’s okay Sunset, your fine, and no one is gonna hurt you again.”
Sunset peeked out at him then glanced back at his father. “A-are you sure?”
“Not while I’m around, no one will.”
Sunset slowly started to let herself relaxe. “Okay, thank you.”
Flash gently kissed her cheek. “You're okay.”
Both Flash’s mother and sister went, “Aww.” While his father rolls his eyes. Seeing this, Mrs. Sentry grabs his arm and pulls him out of the room, and Compass walked away to her bedroom.
“Sorry about that, I should have told you my dad was a little scary.”
“It’s fine, I guess it’s just not easy yo bounce back from getting beat up by those kids.”
“I swear, they had no evidence that it was you, yet they still hurt you, right before Christmas break no less, and the fact you have been through enough.”
“I’m just glad no one found out about it, the CMC was hugging me enough after they confessed, then they sent me ten apology letters each in different languages, most of which I didn’t know.”
“It’s strange, they were in their freshmen year, and they caused a school wide hatred, and brought us back together, although that one was unintentional.”
“Everyone except you, thanks again for saving me, I could have actually ended up dead if it weren't for you.”
“Can you come close to guessing your birthday?”
“No, tried.”
“Or remember your parents names?”
“Also tried, can’t.”
“I’m sorry about all that's happened to you, I swear Celestia was probably drunk while you were her student.”
“She wasn't drunk, she just had some very harsh teaching methods.”
“Oh so you getting trapped in some dark world where time is still for a full year is just a ‘hash teaching method?’”
“Fine, if drugs existed there she probably would have been drunk.”

Chapter nine: Pinkie's a spy (And a really bad one to.)
Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter. Chapter 10: Hikes and Overnights
The sun rose over the mountain tops and everyone yawned as they woke up. Sunset was up and out of bed first. "Common girls, get up, our whole day is planned out starting right after breakfast."
"Why is it planned out?" June groaned.
"Fern said something about keeping all the campers and councilor's out of the way for the day." Sunset grabbed her clothes and went to the bathroom to change.
Camo sat up, fallowed by Violet and June. "Why has she been acting so happy and ready to start the day lately?"
June sighed. "Side effect from the anxiety attack she had a few days ago."
"What do you mean June?"
"During the weekend when we all went home she passed out because Flash's dad is really intimidating."
"But why would it make her pass out?" Violet tilted her head.
"Well, she said it happens when something really scary is happening or when she gets beat up." June shrugged. "That's all I know."
"Okay everyone, sorry, I think I've calmed down a bit, I hate when that happens." Sunset walked out of the bathroom in a much calmer state. "But seriously, get ready and get to the mess hall, I was serious about Fern wanting to get everyone out of the way for the day."
Flash, Sunset and Wallflower were all together on a buddy cabin hike, Wallflower was a C.I.T, but her councilor was sick so she had to take the leadership role for her cabin today. All the campers behind them talked to each other, while the C.I.T's and councilors lead the way.
"Sunburst, where's the map?" Flash asked noticing his friend was no longer holding it.
"Wallflower took it, she said that I can't keep up with it." He crossed his arms.
"Can you blame her? Yesterday you lost your shoes while we were eating."
"I told you a raccoon took them!"
"Are you really going to try that one again?"
"Fine, I lost them."
"Guy's, back on track, we have to be at our camping spot before the sun goes down." Wallflower pointed to the sign on the side of the trail.
Camp site: half a mile
"I bet the sunset will look amazing from up there." Flash turned around to face Sunset. "Pun intended." Sunset forced back her laughter after he said this.
"Your a goofball."
"I know."
"Finally!" Canoe Tipper threw of his back pack and sat down on one of the many rocks surrounding what was supposed to be a campfire tonight. "How many miles did we just walk?"
Wallflower looked down at the map. "About four."
"Four?!" CT fell backward.
"Wow, didn't realize we had walked that far."
"You used to be a pony, to you four miles feels like less than a yard." Flash said.
"Fair, and true, now, how many of you know how to pitch a-." Sunset's gaze drifted to a tent that was already pitched with Camo and June standing next to it.
"We finished!" June smiled and high fived Camo.
"Where an awesome team!" Camo said.
Riptide looked over at them. "Wow your fast."
June's cheeks turned a light shade of crimson. "Thanks Riptide."
"I'll go get some fire wood, Flash, you coming?"
"You bet ya." Flash walked of with Sunset into the woods.
Sunburst watched them leave. "How much you want to bet that either one or both of them dies?"
Wallflower looked back at him. "Five bucks."
"Deal."
They both started to pitch tents for the rest of the campers and themselves.
Sunset walked into camp with Flash fallowing behind her, both of them with armfuls of wood.
"Ha! Sunburst, you owe me five bucks!"
"A'man."
Flash looked annoyed. "Did you guys bet on weather we would die or not?" Both of them nodded. "We did."
"Okay, lets get started on the fire, it'll be dark out here in a flash." Sunset turned to him. "Pun returned."
"Mine was better."
Sunset shook her head and giggled. "I want Banana's opinion on that."
"Ha ha very funny."
During the weekend when they were at home, Flash had invited her to stay for diner, and his mom was vegetarian and said they had out voted his sister and father, and when Sunset had pointed out that they were a four person family, Flash turned to her and said, "Don't forget Banana."
Flash and Sunset put the wood down and Flash began to start the fire as Sunset went to check everyone's tents. The sun descended from the sky, and soon it was dark, and a new moon stayed unseen in the night sky. Everyone sat by the fire toasting and eating s'mores, having a great time.
"Then- then- June walked into the cabin and started to talk, I was so supersized I pinched myself cause I thought I was dreaming!" Violet said.
"Special thanks to Sunset and Flurry Heart." June smiled and burst into laughter. "S-s-sorry, I- I just remember the look Riptide had on his face when I told him the story of how it happened!"
Rocket, who had always been a very silent person up till know, started to laugh to. "Nothing compared to the look on his face when pony ears appeared on Sunset's head!"
"Hey! I didn't even know another world existed until know!"
Rocket laughed harder. "A parallel dimension where there's pony's instead of humans and alicorn princesses! My friend back home owes me twenty bucks!"
Flash smiled. "Good to have you not acting like Fluttershy, it was starting to get weird."
Violet looked up. "Who is Fluttershy?"
Sunset shook her head. "She's one of my friends, but she's really shy about a lot of things."
"Sounds like she got the right name."
"Flash, remember when her brother hit on me before he met Dash a few months ago?"
"How could I forget? That guy is totally her opposite! We almost got found out when that happened."
"Zephyr Breeze is crazy, when he finds out RD and Sorin like each other he is going to flip out, then start on AJ."
"He will try, I don't think he'll succeed."

Chapter 11: Phone calls
It was a beautiful Saturday mourning, The sky was blue, the lake sparkled, and the gentle breeze made the whole setting perfect. Sunset walked to the mess hall, and the smell of cinnamon buns became stronger. Ray had stayed behind at the cabin and found a nice sun covered rock to sleep on. Lazy little lizard.
"Hey Sunset!" Violet burst out of the mess hall doors and grabbed her arm. "Today we got some really good food! There's muffin's and oatmeal and toast and cinnamon buns!"
"Violet! Let go and stop bouncing, wait did you say oatmeal?"
"Yes! C'mon! C'mon! Where not supposed to get in line without our councilor!"
"Okay Okay, I'm coming!" Sunset walked to the mess hall with Violet, (Or she was really being pulled by Violet), an through the doors, the place was practically bursting with activity. Wow and I thought Pinkie was energetic. Sunset and her campers got there food and took there spots. Sunset sat down at her usual table with Flash.
"Hey Sunset."
"Good morning Flash."
"Oatmeal?" He smiled, but Sunset could tell he was forcing back laughter. "Sorry, I just forget you used to be a pony."
"Hey! I'm more human than Equine now."
"Says the girl who walked four miles like it was nothing."
"Fine, you got me, but anyone could do that if they don't focus on the walk and just enjoy the scenery." She took a bite of her muffin. It was blueberry, and reminded her of that girl with the crossed eyes, Derpy. She always talked in this airy voice, and carried muffins with her everywhere, some student's even nicknamed her muffins, or Bubbles. Once, Sunset had been getting her book from her locker, and Derpy was opening hers, which was right next to Sunset's. All the sudden, a avalanche of every muffin you could think of fell on her, and Sunset had tripped on one and fell. Now that was a crazy day.
"Third week of camp, good so far?"
"Better even, I really like it here, all our campers are great friends, June can speak know, and I get to spend time with you."
"Same, so what do you want to do after breakfast?"
"June want's to do archery, so I have to go with them before someone ends up hurt or dead, she's sweet, but Violet always says the wrong thing at the wrong time."
Flash shook his head and held back more laughter. "Dang, June is one dangerous thirteen year old, I'd say Rainbow Dash and Applejack have a new competitor."
"Seriously, they compete in everything, during the weekend when we get back home they even made a competition of who could drink there smoothies fastest, I bet they still have brain freeze."
"Who won?"
"Pinkie Pie! She came in at the last moment with a cup the size of her head and drank the whole thing in under two seconds, Twilight timed her!"
"A cup the size of her head? Two seconds? You've got to be kidding."
"Rainbow had Flutter shy record it! She posted it on view tube if you don't believe me."
"Oh I believe you, Compass did that once, although she got sick for three days, it's crazy how much Pinkie can take without being bothered, I was in math with her in middle school, once she tied herself to the ceiling in the classroom with a rope upside down, and she wouldn't come down! Our teacher said he would get her down but the next day she was still there, and had somehow gotten a marker and drew a mustache on her face, it was there for the rest of the week."
"Wow, sounds unbelievable, but knowing Pinkie it's defiantly true." Sunset finished her muffin and looked around the mess hall. "Wait, were are our campers?"
"Everyone else is here, where are they? I don't see Sunburst either?"
"Oh no.."
"Okay guys, one."
"I'm not sure about this!"
"Two..."
"I second that!"
"Three!"
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" The campers of deer and eagle cabin flew of of the boat house roof and into the lake. "It's so cold!" June's teeth chattered as she swam back to the shore.
"I thought that would be more fun." Canoe Tipper turned to Rocket. "You wan't to say anything?"
Rocket shook his head. "I told you we shouldn't have done that, I'm going to get frost bite and my toes will fall off!"
"Your over exaggerating."
Sunburst led the campers back to the shore. "Maybe we should get back to the mess hall before someone notices where gone."
"Sunburst! You better not be the one that led the campers out here! The sound of Flash's voice coming closer made them all quietly gasp.
"Hide!" June ran of to a bush and jumped behind it, and the others fallowed. "I knew we shouldn't have done this!" she hissed.
"Guys, I know your out here, Flash, do you smell that?"
"Smell what?"
"I smell something like a bunch of soaked campers hiding behind that bush." She gestured to the bush they were all hiding behind.
"How the heck did you know they were there?"
"I read a lot of mystery novels, the ones here are actually good, mystery books in equestria were always 'Who stole the last cupcake?' or 'What happened to the rainbow?' If you look around there's clues about what they were doing everywhere, including Violets hat floating in the water near the boat house and one of Rockets over sized shoes still on the roof."
"Okay guy's, come out now! We know your there!"
"Aww man!" Sunburst sulked out of there hiding spot fallowed by the others. "Sorry Flash."
"Sunburst? I expect better." Flash sighed and looked up at the blue sky.
"What about me?" Canoe Tipper questioned.
"This is about normal for you."
"Okay everyone! Were all going to go back to our cabins, change, and go on with our day. And hope you have all learned to..."
"Not disobey rules." They all finished.
"Good, Flash, I'll see you at our next activity, common Violet, stop hanging behind." and they all walked off to there cabins with the shoe still on the boat house roof and the hat still in the lake.
Deer Cabin
"Okay girls, go to the bathroom and get changed, and dry your hair." Sunset sat down on her bed as the others ran off to avoid her getting angry with them, it had already been a crazy mourning. That conversation at breakfast was the only part of this mourning that had felt normal, first, Camo had screamed, "ATTENTION!" when she woke up because she had been dreaming about being a general. Then Violet got a brush stuck in her hair, which had taken at least half an hour to even find it, then June had no, actually June had been pretty normal and a good camper this mourning, and the others had probably dragged her into it, she didn't want to cause any trouble after the last few years of her life.
"...and the sound that we here in the dark, it makes-" Sunset took out her phone from her bag next to her bed and answered it. Counselors had been permitted to keep there phones, one because they were trusted to not be on them unless they needed to call someone, two, Fern didn't wan't to make the calls if someone needed something from home.
"Hey Sunset, Pinkie says a lot of weird stuff, and you have known her longer, can you tell me if pinkie sence is usually true?"
"Yes Twilight, but once she did say that Lawren Faust was our creator so what was it she said?"
"She said that you fell out of a canoe the first night of camp while you were on a date and did an imitation of Pinkie sense."
"Okay, sorry have to go, my campers just fell into the lake, bye!" Sunset hung up and sighed. She did her best to keep it from being a lie. It's true that they had fallen into the lake, she hadn't answered the question with a lie or the truth, that was a good thing, bad thing is, Pinkie was on to them.
Eagle Cabin
"Guys, go change, we have a lot of stuff to do after this so hurry up." Flash sat down on his bed but just half a second later a song the Flash Drives had written together played from his phone.
"What's up Sandalwood?" Sandalwood was the keyboardist in there band the Flash drives, and one of Flash's closest friends.
"Hey dude, so me and the rest of the band have been talking, mostly about how you ran out on us during practice on Saturday when you came to visit from camp."
"I told you I had a family diner that night."
"Then the next day when you showed up really late to practice, and you just stayed for five minuets, grabbed your guitar and left."
"I fell asleep, and it was time to leave for the bus to camp anyway."
"Okay dude, seriously, tell us if something's wrong, okay?"
"Okay, see you next week." Flash hung up and sighed. It was partly the truth. He did have a family diner that night, only Sunset was there with him. And he and Sunset had fallen asleep together watching a movie and woke up the next day together, and Sunset's sweet smile had never faded. He loved her smile, her being happy made him happy. There past relationship was very different from what everyone thought it was, they had just let lies spread and soon they became roomers and then everyone believed them, yet there was on strange part that no one knew of that made her past self a greater mystery. This made him wonder, what did she see on the other side of that rainbow the night of the fall formal?
Chapter 12: Back home: Part three
Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter. Author's Note
Just to be clear, this chapter takes place during the fourth week of camp. Enjoy! Also, Sorry it took so long, I have to balance this with a bunch of homework.
Chapter 13: Cold Snap
It was a quiet mourning in Glacier view summer camp, everyone was still asleep, while the sky stayed clouded and blocked the rising sun from view. "AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Well, maybe not that quiet. "WHAT THE HECK IS THAT?!" Actually, the whole camp is probably awake know.
Violet and Camo sat strait up in there beds upon hearing the piercing screams. They looked around. Sunset, amazingly, was still asleep, mumbling something like, "Princess Celestia, I don't wanna go to magic school today, yesterday you almost killed me, half my mane is already burned off..." They turned there heads to the window where June was staring at with wide eyes and a shocked and scared expression on her face.
"June, what happened?" Violet stretched and climb out of her bed.
"WHAT is that?!"
"June, it's just snow, wait, SNOW?! IT'S THE MIDDLE OF SUMMER!"
Camo jumped out of her bed. "This is exactly what I've been waiting for! We need someone to take charge! I'm gonna wake up Sunset and I can finally get some orders to carry out!" Camo ran to Sunsets bed and jumped on top of her, yelling, "SNOW! WAKE UP!" Sunset sat up in bed, causing Camo to fall of.
"Camouflage! Are you okay?"
"Yhea, I'm fine, I'm more concerned about how you spent your childhood." Sunset tilted her head. "You were talking in your sleep." Camo stood up and ran to the window.
"What's all the fuss about?" Sunset yawned and fallowed them to the window. "What the heck?"
"This is crazy!" Violet smushed her face up against the window like Pinkie Pie does.
"ATTENTION ALL COUNCILORS AND CAMPERS! MEET IN THE MESS HALL WITH THE WARMEST CLOTHES YOU CAN FIND FOR BREAKFAST, WE WILL BE SPENDING THE DAY INDOORS TODAY DUE TO THE SNOW. IT IS FIVE DEGREES OUTSIDE! PLEASE DO AS I HAVE INSTRUCTED!" The loud voice from the speaker outside stoped and Sunset looked back at her campers.
"You guys find the warmest clothes you can, we need to get to the mess hall before our breakfast freezes."
Sunset and her campers ran to the mess hall and burst through the doors, bits of snow covering them. They all sighed. It was freezing out there. How did that happen in the middle of summer? They went to the serving window and were delighted to see that breakfast was warm soup and cocoa. As they were getting there food, Camo started to look more confused than before. "Where's Ray?"
"He's still in the cabin, cold blooded reptile, he's better off under the lamp in our cabin." Sunset turned around and saw Flash waving at her. She smiled and left her campers to find there tables. "Hello Mr. Goofball."
"Why good mourning Ms. Fire hair."
Sunset giggled and sat down next to him. "Hey, are you cold?" Flash tilted his head at noticing that Sunset was slightly shivering.
"Na, I'm fine."
Flash rolled his eyes and wrapped the other half of the blanket he had around her. "There's no point in trying to lie to me."
"Fine, i'm am cold." Flash gave her a gentle kiss and smiled. "You think this cold snap is equestrian magic gone lose again?"
"I sure hope not, the only equestrian magic that I can think of that could cause this are Windigos."
"What's a Windigo?"
"A winter spirit that feeds off of fighting and hatred and creates blizzards and cold weather, and Clover the Clever once said 'The more hate the spirt feels, the colder things become.' which is a close thing to this worlds greek mythology, that makes me wander what ever happened to Philomena."
"No wander your right up there with Twilight in every class."
Sunset shrugged and took of a her backpack. "I do wonder..." She pulled out the book she used to communicate with princess Twilight.
Hey Twilight, you busy? Almost instantly the book vibrated.
Hi Sunset! No not busy, need something?
Just wondering, you know Philomena?
You kidding? She made everyone think she had turned into a pile of ash the last time I saw her! Why?
I was just wondering if she was still doing okay, I miss her.
You know Pilomena? No, wait, of course you do! Celestia has had her for years!
Yhea, I do. Can you say hi to Philomena and the other's for me?
Sure, bye Sunset!
Bye Twilight. Sunset slammed the book shut and stuffed it into her bag.
"What's wrong?"
"Celestia apparently told everyone that Philomena was always hers."
"If you don't mind me asking, who is Pilomena?"
"Philomena is a pheonix that I had to hatch from an egg with a high level spell I had to teach my self to get into Celestia's school, like Twilight, except Spike is a dragon, anyway, Philomena always made me feel better when I had a rough day as Celestia's student, which was almost everyday, she even snuck me a treat or two every now and then, and tried to help me learn spells so hopefully Celestia wouldn't get to use her 'unique' teaching methods on me, never worked completely but it helped."
"I swear when we get home I'm gonna-"
"Can't, Starlight or Spike would grab you before you made it even out of the room."
"I was expecting you to say I couldn't get through because of the magical lock."
"No, since were technically family now you would be able to go through."
"Okay... good reason, man it is really coming down out there." He stared out on of the window, the snow was a blizzard now.
"Your right, I feel something, it's very small but some form of magic is there."
"Were in the united states were there is a portal to another dimension that keeps on throwing magic everywhere, there's always a little magic in the air."
"Yhea, your right, hey, you remember me ever mentioning someone named Tirek or Chrysalis?"
"So let me get this strait, Chrysalis and the changelings can impersonate anyone they want without any effort?"
"Yep."
"And Tirek feeds off of magic and the princesses put all there magic into Twilight because he didn't know that a fourth princess existed?"
"Pretty much sums it up."
"Your old world's history is so much cooler than ours."
"Hey, I like this worlds history, I think it's fascinating how thing happened in equestria are similar, for instance, world war one and two, the ponies so Equestria didn't get along in the past so they went to war and in the end they made a compromise and-"
"Seriously, no wonder your right up there with Twi." Sunset nudged his shoulder and let out a girlish giggle, both of them oblivious to the fact that Wallflower was staring at them.
"So, how long do you think it will snow like this?"
"Hmm...I'll go with the rest of today."
"I say today and Tomorrow mourning."
"Deal."
"Is it me or did it just get colder in here?"
The cook walked out of the kitchen holding a piece of a broken thermostat. "I'll go get some blankets and warm up more soup." He guiltily walked back to the kitchen. Fern face palmed. "Just great. Attention all camperes I am going to turn on a movie, don't complain if you have seen it a million times before because I don't care." She began to set up a movie screen and a projector.
It turned out to be a movie about a farm girl who lived with her aunt and uncle, and got whisked away by a tornado to a strange land. "Have you seen this before?" Sunset said and bit into a piece of toast.
"Yhea, it's one of my sisters favorites, and when Scootaloo comes over and I have to watch them it's on all day."
"Scootaloo?"
"She's... my cousin, one of the three who started Anon-a-MIss and terrorized the school."
"I didn't know she was your cousin."
"Well you never asked, and she's a second or third cousin, but she's around so often she's like another sister."
"I'm just glad she has her aunt's to watch out for her while her parents are on tomb raids, and the CMC to keep her company, and even Rainbow Dash. You know, your all really lucky to have each other, I know what life feels like alone, it's horrible."
"Well were lucky to have each other." he let her lean into him and he slowly stroked her crimson red hair.
"Flash? You think we could die during a magic battle one day?"
"I know it's possible, that giant toaster wasn't magic, yet it still destroyed the auditorium and almost killed you! And guess what they did with the giant toast?"
"What?"
"Remember that day right after when lunch had a side of something big and square shaped?"
"You have got to be kidding."
"I'm not! Micro even tested it! It was the giant toast from the fight!"
"That's crazy, and unsanitary. Glad I had packed my lunch that day."
"Sandalwood wasn't so lucky."
"Wow. Just wow. Who was the one who decided to put that in our lunch anyway?"
"Don't tell Applejack, but after I finished eating I left to go get my guitar, or well, check to make sure it hadn't been crushed, when I saw Granny Smith dragging a piece inside mumbling something about it being perfect for the next days lunch."
"I definitely won't tell AJ."
"That might be a good thing, she has super strength and could probably snap someone in half."
"I know! Once Rainbow decided to try her bass, and lets just say in the end you could call her soccer ball a pancake."
"That don't sound like a good reason."
"Rainbow got a little carried away and started to hit it on the floor."
"Okay, now that makes sense."
Someone snuck up behind them. "I know your back there and trying to scare us who ever you are." Sunset turned around fallowed by Flash.
"Sunburst? What did I tell you?" Flash had an annoyed expression on his face.
"Set an example for the campers, I know I know." He walked back to the table and handed a dollar to Canoe. "You won this round." They herd him say.
Flash and Sunset turned there attention back to the movie, while the snow storm went on out side and the ground was turned white along with everything else.
Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter. Chapter 15: Bad Hair Day (Short)
The storm outside settled and Sunset groggily sat up and rubbed her tired eyes, then there was a small laugh, then a couple more. "Huh?"
Flash sat down next to her trying to hold back the laughter. "I forgot what you look like when you wake up, sleepy head."
"What?"
"It looks like your hair went thirty rounds with a tornado." Her (still trying not to laugh) boyfriend ran his fingers through her fiery hair trying (and failing) to calm the tangled mess.
"It's not that bad."
June laughed. "It is that bad!"
Chapter 7: New found friendship
June sat down at the table in the mess hall. Mess hall, weird, it's pretty clean here. Everyone should see the mess hall in juvie, know that was a mess. Arts and crafts were new to her, but it had been nearly a week since camp started, and she began to get the hang of things that they got to make. She caught sight of Riptide as he walked into the mess hall. Why do I feel weird?
Riptide looked over at her and smiled, then made his way over to her. He sat down in the seat across from her, and smiled. “What are you making?”
June looked down at the embroidering thread that was half way put together into a red, cyan, and green friendship bracelet. How am I supposed to answer that in a way he understands? To her releaf, Sunset walked in through the doors with Flash and sat down at a table on the other side of the mess hall.
June pointed to her then to the bracelet she had been weaving.
“Cool, she’s your counselor right? The one who tipped over their canoe during their date on Monday?”
June nodded.
“Hey June? You want to be friends?”
She tilted her head, and smiled. All of a sudden, Riptide became very eager, and smiled so wide that June thought it would jump off his face. “Do you umm… want this?” Riptide pulled a friendship bracelet out that had white, pink, and bright green stripes through it. He handed it to her and let his smile soften, probably because his face was starting to hurt.
June tied it around her wrist and looked back at him with the same smile. Friends, I like the sound of that.
Author's Note
Very short chapter, my sister decided to try and put ideas in my head, when I get an idea for a story, it replay's in my head until I put it in there, because of this I already have the sequel planed out.
