Many ponies are afraid of darkness, and Lyra is one of them.

She never wondered the reason behind it, just like how she had never wandered where her birth parents had been ever since her earliest memories of living with her aunt and uncle in Canterlot. Therefore, when the problem is thrown in front of her in a sleepover with her friends, she is prompted to visit her hometown, the forest town of Hollowshade, to find it out and also help her new pegasus friend on her mission. Her roommate, Bon Bon, is more than willing to tag along.

Many ponies have gruesome pasts, and Grey Wind is one of them.

After her heroic deeds, Grey Wind is invited to Canterlot for a meet up with the Princesses. The visit to Canterlot not only revealed to her the hidden past of her friend Lyra's family, but also left her with a secret quest to retrieve a lost artifact for Princess Luna. All these reasons prompt her to travel to the town of Hollowshade, to search for her friend's past and to complete her mission.

A forest town, a lost artifact, a lost memory, and a bunch of new friends.

As such, a new adventure of the three friends begin, a journey of friendships, memories and melodies.
