Did I Win?

BIZZ.
A loud buzz emanated from the magically powered door allowing a quintuplet of steel faced guards to enter the cell block with their newest addition. Freshly dressed in her orange jump-suit and chained by 4 hoof-cuffs and a magical dampening clasp locked around her horn was possibly the most notorious villain alive: Beatrix Lulamoon; more commonly known by her stage-name: The Great And Powerful Trixie. Evil or not, she was very egotistic and self-centered. The 6 ponies carried on in a quincunx with Beatrix in the center and the heavily armed guards at her 4 sides, respectively diagonal with the captain in purple armor at the very front.

The group walked briskly down the sterile halls of the Canterlot Supermax Penitentiary, an underground prison that houses the worst of the worst. Soon enough, the group made it to Trixie’s new home where, without a second thought, threw her into the cell. Before Trixie would stand up again, she was aggressively pushed back to the ground as another guard unhooked a chain from her hoof-cuffs and fastened it to the wall. Once done, he left the room with the guard that held Trixie down. Not daring to stand up, Trixie waited until the heavy cell door slid back into place before looking around.

To be far, ‘looking around’ was a generous take. Her ‘looking around’ was more of a glance as her entire cell span about 6 by 6 hooves creating a square. Directly in front of her was a bed that stretched from opposing walls and shoved in the very back of the cell with small supports under it keeping it up. The prison was kind enough to give her a pillow. To her right was a cracked stone wall with a large chain spanning from it to her. Still grey, very reminiscent of the floor, ceiling, and other 3 walls as opposed to the sterile white walls that danced outside of her field of view through the wall of bars.

Sighing, Trixie strained her muscles and staggered over to her ‘bed’. She was in pain. You would be too if the guards beat you around the clock… all because of that… mistake. Lowering herself onto the bed, Trixie slowly came to terms about how this was her new home… because what she had done…

‘Violent flashes of light grazed Trixie’s fur as she dodged another beam of light from her arch-nemesis, Twilight Sparkle.’ “You can’t keep this up for much longer, Sparkle!” Trixie mocked.

“P-please Trixie.” Twilight cried stumbling backwards, “Stop this… this has to stop for our sakes!”

“OUR SAKES?” Trixie roared angry, “You want to stop so you can tell everypony you beat the Great and Powerful Trixie again?” Trixie shot a partially dangerous bolt of magic that missed Twilight and blew up the tree next to her.

“Trixie stop! This isn’t I fight anymore, you’re-.” Twilight ducked under a fiery magic ball, “-Going to hurt somepony!”

“Well then you better hurry up and stop me then, but I’m not seeing any progress!” Trixie laughed manically.

“What happened to you.” Twilight said, “You may have been boastful, but this isn’t you! This is just like the Alicorn Amulet incident.”

“NO IT WON’T.” Trixie yelled, “Because this time, I’m going to win.” Trixie started a glowing energy ball above her head.

“Trixie.” Twilight said calmly refusing to move, “Why are you doing this?”

Trixie stared into Twilight's eyes with untold anger. “Because you WIN. That’s all you do Sparkle. WIN, WIN, WIN. You got to Celestia’s star pupil, you got friends, family, a castle, statue, place on the elements of harmony, YOU GOT TO BE AN ALICORN! Have you ever lost Sparkle! Because everyone loses. I wanted you to lose that day we first met to prove a point. And you ran off! But not this time Sparkle!” At this point the magical ball was red hot, “YOU’RE GONNA LOSE.” And with that, Trixie hurtled the red-hot magical ball at Twilight who was so drained she could barely move except back into a burned tree.

BOOM.

Trixie snapped out of her reverie when the doggy-door on the steel-plated door started to move. Suddenly a bowl of… soup was pushed through. Trixie didn’t care what kind as she was starving. She tried to pick it up with her magic, to remember that she couldn’t use it at the moment. Resorting to earth-pony tactics, Trixie picked the bowl up in her hooves and started to gulp down the Lukewarm soup. It tasted awful, but it was edible… she thinks. Regaining some of her strength she moved back to her bed with a half-empty bowl of soup that she would save for later.

Trixie slowly moved her eyes through her cell bars to see a calendar on the far side of the hallway. It was the 5, and her execution was on the 19th. So about 14 days, or 2 weeks. Until its her final day on Equis. Celestia wanted her execution to be sooner, and that rainbow maned one looked happy to oblige. Still, she has to wait in this cell until it is time. Leaning back on the cold steel, Trixie continued her recount of what happened that day.

The smoke cleared to see Twilight unmoving on the ground. Trixie’s smile stared to fade. “Twilight. Get up.” No response. “Twilight! The battle isn’t over. Trixie commands you to get up.” Not even the crickets answered her. “Well, you asked-.” She stopped suddenly as she stepped into something wet.

‘Blood’

“Wha- wha.” The blood led to the fallen Alicorns body. She wasn’t getting up, not anytime soon anyway. “Twilight.” Trixie said in a deathly whisper. She wanted to beat Twilight… not… not. “TWILIGHT SPARKLE GET UP!” Trixie screeched at the unmoving body. “Twilight… please get up…” Trixie slowly said. ‘I killed her, didn’t I? Oh, Celestia. I did!’. Trixie slowly realized she was covered in blood… Twilights blood. “No… NO GET- GET IT OFF. NO!” Trixie screamed scrabbling to get away from the body.

POOF.

I loud poof resounded from behind her. The sound of a teleportation spell. “Twilight- TWILIGHT!” Came a yell from the distance. Immediately, 5 ponies and a Alicorn ran out from the darkness not spotting Trixie. “Oh Celestia. TWILIGHT.” Yelled a white unicorn from the group while a pinkie one consoled a yellow one with an orange one looking at her and a cyan one helping- wait. “THERE SHE IS!” Yelled the orange one with all the other ponies immediately looking over at her.

“I… can explain?” Trixie said trying to wipe the blood off of her. Her last memory of that night was the cyan one flying at her very fast.

Trixie felt tears streaming down her face before quickly whipping them off. How long had she been here? She didn’t know. She deserved to be here. Then again. The question in her mind began to resurface. Did she win? Was it worth it to… kill Twilight? Was it? Is killing someone a Victory?

BIZZ.

The sound of the magically powered door opening pushed Trixie back to her senses. Who could it be? Celestia? No, she wouldn’t waste her time. Her family? No, they were properly too busy trying to distance their selves from her at the moment. She could easily rule out friends. Who could it be?

“Hello Trixie.” Said a rather sad unicorn with a missing horn.

“TWILIGHT?!”
