Chapters After what seemed like hours; (despite being just a few hours exactly), Flurry Heart woke up, and yawned whilst stretching. Unfortunately; soon after she did that, she felt something coming up from her throat. And before you know it; she barfed all over her bed. (Well not literally all over her bed; just her blankets). Because of that bad feeling afterwards; Flurry Heart began crying, and babbling something incoherently; as she’s not feeling good, and recently just barfed all over her bed. Cadence and Shining Armor bursted into the room; having heard their daughter’s crying, and then stopped to see what was wrong. However; after seeing what lies before them; even they couldn’t believe it. “You think maybe...” began Cadence. “We should go help her”, Shining Armor finished.
After giving Flurry Heart a bath; both parents went to the castle living room, and sat with Flurry Heart to check and see what’s wrong with her. But before they could start; Flurry Heart barfed again, and passed out from being sick. Worried; Cadence held her baby close while cleaning her up; while Shining Armor started cleaning up the couch, and started pacing around the room to think of an explanation as to why his only daughter was feeling like this... .
Meanwhile... back in Ponyville... .
*is pacing around back and forth*. “Ooh Spike; I feel terrible...” Twilight Sparkle said in utter distress. Spike turned around, and then asked; “and why is that?” Chattering on her hooves nervously, Twilight Sparkle said; “because I could be the cause of my own niece getting sick... .” Spike then asked; “and why do you think that?” Twilight then replied; “because I foolishly brought her into a hospital filled with sick foals! Ooh I hope I don’t get caught... . Shining Armor will never trust me again if I were to get caught... .”
Unfortunately; Twilight didn’t know it, but Shining Armor already knew... . And he was already inside. “You were saying?” Shining Armor said while holding onto his daughter. Caught; Twilight blurts out; “oh no...” and awaited for a talking to.
Twilight; unaware of what to do; is currently holding Flurry Heart at a distance so she wouldn’t barf on her. However; Flurry Heart barfed again just now, and is currently whining and crying again; hoping that her aunt will do something about it that can help her feel better... .
“Ooh; I don’t know what to do... . I’ve never babysat my niece while she’s sick before... . What am I gonna do?!” Twilight thinks to herself. However; before she could think of something; Flurry Heart grunted, and sighed with relief. Knowing what that meant; Twilight groans in disgust, and puts on a mask before doing the dirty deed of changing her niece’s diaper.
Meanwhile; the Royal couple is currently on a train; going back to the Crystal Empire. While the train is currently moving; Shining Armor is thinking about something... . And something tells Cadence that something is up with him. With that; she clears her throat to get Shining’s attention, and asks; “honey; are you feeling okay?” Sighing in defeat; Shining Armor then replied; “no... unfortunately... .”
Cadence; being the loving and caring wife that she is; moved closer to her husband, leans against him, and then asks; “what’s the matter dear?... .” Sighing again, and feeling sad; Shining Armor took a deep breath, and then replied; “it’s just.... I don’t know.... . Was I too hard on her?” Not knowing who he was talking about; Cadence asked; “who?... .” Sighing again; Shining Armor said; “Twilight.” Now realizing it; Cadence said; “oooohhhhh....” and sat up straight. Shining Armor then continued; “it’s just that she’s my sister.... and I have gotten into fights with her before when we were younger. But.... . What if I was too hard on her.... you know?... . Like.... what if I ruined my relationship as a sibling with her?.... .” Sighing too; mainly because she’s not feeling like dealing with this dilemma since she’s feeling bored and tired from riding in the trains for too long; Cadence turned to her husband, and says; “you know.... . Even though you were hard on Twily; I’m sure that she could handle it... right?” Sighing again; Shining Armor replied; “I don’t know honey... . I just never went that far with fighting with Twilight like that.... . I mean.... what if she hates me now?”
Not wanting to hear anymore of her husband’s depressing mood; Cadence then leaned in close to her husband, and says; “if so.. then so what; right? I’m sure that she will forgive you.... . Twilight is after all your sister; right?... .” Shining Armor then says; “right?... .” Nodding; Cadence replies; “right! So don’t worry; okay?... .” Thinking for a moment; Shining Armor eventually came to the conclusion, and says; “you’re right honey. I’m sure that Twilight will forgive me... . I just honestly sure hope that Flurry Heart doesn’t give her a bad time like us; remember?... .” Thinking back as to what happened the last time Flurry was sick; Cadence then shivered at the thought, and then says; “yeah... *gulp*. I sure hope Flurry doesn’t give her a bad time... . Otherwise Twilight wouldn’t forgive both of us; right? Hehe.... .” Gulping also; Shining Armor said; “right....” and went to staring ahead so he could enjoy the rest of the ride home... .
Meanwhile; back at the castle... .
“Wow that was bad....” Twilight said as she was horrified. “I never knew that she could go that much!... . Have you?!.... .” Spike came out of the room breathing heavily and panting; as he was the one that helped Twilight change Flurry’s diaper. After a few seconds, he responded; “no I have not... . And I sure hope it doesn’t happen again.... .” Sighing heavily; Twilight said; “me too.....” and passed out on the floor from pure shock. With that; Spike did too, and fell right next to Twilight. With both of them out of action; Flurry Heart peeked out from the open doors, and looked around. Seeing that her caretakers were passed out; Flurry Heart dawwed at the sight, and flew to go get her caretakers some pillows and a blanket; as Twilight and Spike were passed out, and that she doesn’t want them to get sick either from the cold, or getting uncomfortable.
After what seemed like hours; (despite it being only five minutes); Flurry Heart returned with two pillows and a blanket, and then laid them down in a little bed of sorts on the floor with her magic for her caretakers to sleep in. After that; she tucked them in, and gave them a kiss goodnight; as she remembers her parents doing this for her constantly whenever she would get sleepy. With that; she waved goodbye to them, and flew away to create some chaos.... .
Few hours have passed, and it seemed that Twilight and Spike haven’t woken up just yet... . Meanwhile; Flurry Heart is just basically having the time of her life! Making some pudding, and failing because of her only making a mess, but not caring... . Eating way too much sugary sweets and flying all over the castle... . And lastly; sugar crash, waking up, pooping her pants again, and then flying around while wearing a dirty diaper.... .
“S-spike?... . Wh-what happened?... .” Twilight said while she’s starting to wake up. Yawning also; Spike also woke up, and said; “I don’t know.... but I have a good feeling that something bad is gonna happen... .” “Like what?” Twilight began.
With that; her answers are answered as she then heard the front door open, and then hears hooves walking onto the ground... .
“Hello Twilight... . I see that you’ve managed to sleep on the job... . Is our daughter okay?... .” Knowing who it is, and feeling nervous about what’s happened while she and Spike were asleep; Twilight got up to her hooves, and says; “oh... h-hey big brother... . W-what brings you here so early?... .” With a confused look; Shining Armor replied; “what do you mean?... . It’s been only three hours since y’all were babysitting our daughter... . Speaking of which where is she?... .”
Flurry Heart then flew towards her parents and gave them a hug while being happy. Albeit a little too happy since Flurry’s diaper is even more dirty than ever... and that it’s starting to smell.... . “Oh geez!... . That’s pungent!” Shining Armor said while keeping their daughter away from them while looking at Twilight. “Well...” he began. “I’m sure that you can be trusted again... for now. But know this Twily; if you were to bring our daughter to any more dangerous places like that again; your trust with us will be tested... understand?” After that; he began getting green in the face, and barfed in his mouth. With that; Shining Armor swallowed his barf back in his mouth, and his daughter laughed at him for being silly. After a few minutes of holding Flurry Heart at a distance; the Royal couple left the castle, and began their walk back to the train station to bring their daughter back home with them... .
After five minutes of just standing there; Twilight looked towards her buddy; Spike, and asked; “wanna help me clean up?” Spike nodded in agreement, and went with Twilight to get some cleaning supplies.

Flurry Heart; now fast asleep in her crib; is basically dreaming about her best day ever! Well.... . That is until she started developing; “problems”, in the long run. What kind of problems? You’ll just have to find out once the story progresses... .
“So; what’d you think of the art exhibit?” Shining Armor said whilst walking with his wife to the train station in Ponyville. “It was great; albeit a little weird at times... .” Cadence said in a little bit of discomfort. Shining Armor then looked at his wife, and asks; “what do you mean? You don’t like the exhibit?” Cadence started to shrug a little, then said; “no... it’s not that... . It’s just... you know.... this?... .” Shining Armor was at a loss for words as to what he thinks is bugging his wife. That is until... . “Wait; no... . Don’t tell me...” he began to reply. “You think that my friend is weird; don’t you?” Cadence; now blushing; meegerly says; “well... I wouldn’t say he’s weird, but...”. Before she can continue; she was cutted off by her husband; whom then said; “aw cmon cady... . He’s my friend, and a really great guy too. You’d really think that about one of my friends? Why?...”.
Cadence; having been brutally honest about what she was thinking about; starts to lean in towards her husband, and says; “oh cmon honey. You gotta admit though; he kinda was weird and all... . I mean; how does he know of our daughter? And... . How does he even keep all this... “art”; in an exhibit? It just doesn’t seem right... .” Shining Armor; now looking a little angry, and disappointed at his wife, says; “yeah? And so what? You don’t hear me complain about your friends; do you?” Cadence; having taken a hit to her pride, states; “no... . And so what? It’s not like it’d matter; right?” Shining Armor; almost at his breaking point, suddenly raises his voice, and shouts; “it matters to me!” Flurry Heart; having been a little woken by that; starts to shuffle, and whimper something in her sleep.
After a few minutes of nothing else; Shining then whispers to Cadence; still angry mind you; “we’ll discuss this.. later... .” Cadence; now looking red in the face with anger as well, then replies; “I couldn’t.. agree more... .”
After the trip back; Cadence and Shining Armor went into separate bedrooms for the afternoon, and slammed their doors shut. Meanwhile; Flurry Heart is in her room, but whimpered a little. Reason is because of the loud noise. And the fact that she’s starting to feel a little bad. How bad?... we’ll leave it up to your imagination to decide... .
After being talked down by her own brother; Twilight began to look sad, and looks up at him; hoping that her brother would forgive her. Unfortunately; that’s not the case.... .
“Twilight....” Shining Armor began. “I cannot believe that you would do something like this. I mean; how careless can you get? It’s not like you at all... .” Twilight Sparkle was about to say something back, but she was cutted off by her brother saying; “you know what? Forget it! I hope you think about what you’ve done to our precious daughter.” Still disappointed; Shining Armor turned to his wife, and says; “let’s go honey; I’m done here... .”
But before they both left with Flurry Heart; Twilight dove down to her knees; (or the pony equivalent of one), and says; “oh please please please big brother; don’t be mad at me anymore. I’ll do anything!”
Stopping in his tracks; Shining Armor then turned to his pleading sister, smirks, then says; “anything?” before raising an eyebrow. Not caring of the future consequences that lie before her; Twilight accepts, and is waiting for a response. With that; Shining Armor then hands; (or hoofs) off Flurry Heart to his sister, and hands her a diaper bag. “This is all of Flurry Heart’s things; plus some medicine since it’s your fault that she’s sick.” Twilight whimpered and attempts to apologize. “It’s alright lil sis, but just don’t do that next time; okay?” Twilight nodded, and waited for another response. “Also; if anything else were to happen to her; or if you think you can’t handle it... then we’ll have no choice, but to out you from our family for good.” Twilight looked at her brother with wide eyes, and her mouth agape because she’s speechless. “I’m sorry Twilight... . But since you’ve been so careless of our daughter; I don’t know if I could ever forgive you for that; or love you for that matter... like any other sibling would have. Got it?” Twilight nodded with a frown, and then looked back down. “Good”, Shining Armor implied. “That’s good... .” Shining then turned to his wife, and said; “let’s go”, before leaving with Princess Cadence.
Now at a loss as to what to do next; Twilight sat there with a blank expression, tears still forming in her eyes, and then sniffled a little because she’s still sad. But... before she could do anything about it; Flurry Heart barfed again, and began crying. Something tells her that this will definitely not end well... . And she’s hoping that it doesn’t come to be... .
