Chapters Flash Sentry walked down the halls of CHS with his little cousin, Scootaloo. “So Flash, when are you going to ask Sunset out?”
“I already told you, were just friends.”
“But it’s obvious that you like her.”
“I like her as a friend, not like what your implying.”
“But you turn red whenever you see her and she’s not looking.”
“Well I-”
“And when you talk to her you have a nervous tone in your voice.”
“I-”
“And you-”
“I get it! Okay, maybe I like her as more than a friend a little bit, but were just friends, nothing more, nothing less.”
Scootaloo sighed. “Fine, see you after school.” She walked off to her classroom.
I can’t be with Sunset, we hurt each other enough the last time. Just friends, nothing more, nothing less. He walked to his locker but ran into someone. “I’m sorry, this always happens, I-” He cut short when he saw the red and yellow hair and cyan eyes. Sunset. They sat there in silence for a moment.
”Sorry Flash, I wasn’t looking where I was going.” He didn’t know why, her voice became a whisper he could hardly hear.
“It’s okay, I wasn’t either.” Flash stood and offered her his hand, but she stood up on her own and turned away. “I’ll see you around Flash.” She walked away hugging her books tight.
I’m stupid, why is she acting like we broke up yesterday? I thought we made up and became friends again at Everfree, I’m an idiot, I don’t like her like that, do I?
Flash walked out of his last class with a frown, he hadn’t been able to focuse all day on anything, his talk with Sunset left him more than confused. Just a friend, were just friends, but why do I want more? Sunset’s nice and sweet, but were friends, why is it so awkward when we bump into each other? And why did she act like that whenever she sees me?
Flash walked out of the school door and Scootaloo scowled up at him. “You said you guys were just friends.”
“We are.”
“I saw what happened between you two in the hall, you do like her, and she likes you.”
“I told you I don’t like her in that way, wait, did you say she likes me?”
“Doy! How is it not obvious to you?!”
“Were just friends.”
“You don’t seem like friends, you seem like two people who hold back there feelings so much that they get ackward around each other, next thing you know, the school is up in flames!”
“How the heck would that happen?”
“I watched a romance action movie with Rainbow Dash! It won’t go out of my head!” She stomped her foot.
“I’m not going to be in a relationship with Shimm Shi- I mean Sunset! I’m not going to hurt her again and I’m sure she doesn't like me in that way.”
“Ha! You almost called her by that old nickname!” She smirked.
“Listen Scoots, nothing’s happening between us, and...nothing ever will.” He walked of to his car and drive away. Nothing can happen, I can’t hurt her again, not after...it was to hard after finding that. Nothing, I can’t like her, I can’t.
A long time ago...
“Sunset I’m sorry, we can’t be like this anymore.”
“I know, I’v become such a horrible person, I knew this was coming...” She took off the locket he had given her for her last birthday, small, gold in color, and had a picture of them together. “I’m really sorry.” Her eyes filled with tears and she ran off from the picnic table they had been sitting at, leaving her locket behind.
Flash banged his head on the table.“I’m a stupid, idiotic bitch.” He lifted his head, picked up her locket, and opened it, a picture of them smiling looked back at him. He sighed. She loved this...and me, and I pushed her away, all because of some stupid stuff happening at school, none of which had ever happened outside CHS. When she’s around me, she’s sweet, sensitive, and just slightly fiery, and I’m the bitch who loved her but pushed her away. He sighed and put the necklace in his pocket.
Flash walked down one of the streets on the square, stoping by a particular spot were people were gathering to look at a wall. “What’s all the fuss about?” He asked someone who was next to him.
“A new piece by Flanksy.”
Flash stared up at the wall. Rainbows pouring from clouds with a red heart at the center. He knew about the famose yet unknow street artist that everyone loved, heck, he knew who they were, well, who she is. Sunset Shimmer never wanted to be someone well known and famous, just to share her art and make others happy, and doing this certainly made others happy.
He took his phone out of his pocket, nearly everything on Flitter posted that day (which was a lot), mentioned Flanksy and her art, video’s of people walking around the city giving a tours of the art to attract tourists filled ViewTube, most of them on live stream, yet, know one but him and Rarity knew it was Sunset.
He remembered figuring it out after the third piece went up on an ice cream shop, catching people’s attention and that place was know the most famous place to go for ice cream in the state. When that happened, he saw a picture of it on Flitter, and the rainbows, suns, rain, and hearts made it a dead give away to anyone who knew Sunset, with the exception of her friends all but Rarity when she was helped by the mysterious Flanksy to create a famous window at the front of a display case, know, store owners wished and dreamed of the day a piece of art would be on the wall when they went to work, and when that happened, they became a site for a tourist hot spot, and if it did, people came from miles around to see it, and go inside the restaurants and stores.
Sunset had some serious talent. He saw her paint in art, most of the things she did ended up displayed in the office by the principals themselves, she could sing like an angle, and write the best songs in under ten minuets. When they used to date, he had tought her how to play guitar, and she would think about something and sing, playing her guitar that he had given her to the best she could, and he would write down every note, every word that she sang, and it would be done.
Most of the songs, all the sheet music, she had let him keep, and told him he should use it for his band. But, those were her songs, and they were amazing, and she deserved to have people know she had wrote them. So, all the lyrics, along with the locket she had left behind, stayed hidden away, in a box he had never set sight on again, hidden were no one would find it.
Except for Scootaloo. She had found them, and the locket. she had left everything alone, but thought those were just his songs for the future of the Flash Drives, and, in the end, she took one of the songs, and gave it to her group, the CMC’s, and they played it, and everyone thought it was them who wrote it, but after the battle of the bands, the Rainboom’s songs were more well known through out the state. Eventually, it was just another song made by three girls on VeiwTube.
Of course he was mad when he herd them practicing one of Sunset’s beautiful songs in the garage when Scootaloo was staying with him cause her parents were never around, instead doing many dare devil adventures, and her aunts were busy, and of course, he confronted the CMC about it, but Scootaloo had the same determination as her sister figure Rainbow Dash, and ended up playing it in exchange for not taking another one of the songs.
Flash looked through his phone and found on of the earlier pictures, one from the first day he met that pretty amber skinned girl with crimson and gold curly hair.
Freshmen year
“Flash Sentry, please report to the front of the school.” Principal Celestia’s voice said over the speaker. He looked over at his teacher.
“You may go Mr. Sentry, I know your introducing another new student, now leave quickly before you break something else.” She went back to writing on the chalk board. Flash, the clumsiest kid in school, walked out of his ninth grade class room to meet the newest student at Cantorlot High. He always was the one to introduce the new students, other than being the clumsiest, he was also the kindest and most caring.
He opened the door of the school and stepped outside, but no one was there. He looked around. A small sniffle came from behind a bush by the entrance. Is this gonna be like the time I had to I give Fluttershy a tour of the school?
Fluttershy had actually started school right on time, the same time as anyone else. But she was at the top of her class during the eighth grade, and her parents wanted her a early tour, so since his brother was a student there at CHS, he had been asked to give her a tour, but he was so intimidating that she had been scared out of her life just seeing him. Flash had come with him that day since his there parents were at work, he had come with his brother, and he had known the school inside and out, so, Fluttershy’s parent’s had asked him to give the tour, and he said sure.
He walked to the bush and looked behind it. A girl with amber skin and crimson red and yellow hair was hiding behind it, crying. She was a smaller kid, not as tall as everyone else is in the ninth grade. He sat next to her and tilted his head. “Arn’t your parents here? Usually the new students have there parents with them.”
She lifted her head from her hands reavealing her pretty cyan eyes. “My p-parent’s...I don’t know were they are.”
“Your lost?” A worried expression covered his face as he thought of another possibility.
“I haven't seen them in years, my mom told me she d-d-didn’t care when I left to b-be a student at a s-special school, she s-said I needed to d-do something with myself a-and my dad w-wanted me to stay a-and I left, and I- I never saw them again.” She went back to crying with her face buried in her hand.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to-”
“It’s okay, y-you were just trying to h-h-help.”
“Do you still want to go on a tour of the school? Right after it will be lunch time.”
“Okay.”
He took her hand and they stood up. “What’s your name?”
“Sunset Shimmer.”
“Can I call you Sunny?”
“What?”
“I make nick names for all my new friends.” Flash smiled at her as they walked through the doors of CHS.
“Friends?”
“Yeah, you wan’t to be friends?”
“Sure, that... that sounds like fun.”
“I think you might need someone to help you, someone to be friends with, I don’t know if you noticed, but your a little small for you age.”
“Yeah, I know, I was the smallest one at my last school, I used to be picked on a lot.” She seemed to feel more comfortable around him as they walked, but seemed to be just as clumsy as he was.
Flash took out his phone and showed her a few pictures of him and a few friends. “Want to take a picture?”
“What is that?”
“A picture?”
“I know what a picture is, but what is that?”
“A phone?” How hard a life has she had? “Here, smile.” He stood next to her and took a picture of them happily smiling together.
“Cool, so, is there a science lab here?” She hopefully smiled.
“Yep, you like science?”
She nodded. “I really like any subject.”
Flash shook his head and laughed. “I had a feeling, now, on with your grand tour of the famous Cantorlot High School!” He laughed again. “Sorry, I couldn't help myself.”
“And our last stop, the cafeteria!” He pushed through the doors and pointed to the lunch line, full of freshmen students, there were also seniors seated on one side of the cafeteria, apparently the youngest and oldest students shared the lunchroom at the same time. “we get our food over there, and our class table is right there.”
One student at the twelfth grade table waved at him. “...And that’s my older brother, Thunderlane.”
“I don’t see how you look alike.”
“Eh, I don’t either, it takes my mom like half an hour to explain that one of us is not adopted to people, also, since your kinda, small, you should probably stay away from him.”
“Why?”
“He likes to make the smaller student’s scared of him.”
“By doing what?”
“Hurting them, badly. When I was little he would chase me around the house with a brick.”
“Noted.” They walked away and grabbed there vegan meals and sat down at a table.
“You vegetarian to?” She took a bite of her salad and bit into her apple.
“Ever since I was five, when I found out what meat was. you?”
“For as long as I can remember.”
“I like you!” He blurted out before his face turned red and he covered his mouth with his hand.
She giggled. “I kinda like you to.”
Flash fell backward in his chair. “You what?!”
Sunset leaned over to look over the edge of the table. “I said I like you to.”
His eyes crossed as his face went red. “I didn’t think I would be asking anyone this, but you want to come to the park with me after school?”
She giggled again. “Like a date?”
“Yeah, like a date.”
“I’d like that.”

And end of chapter two, sorry, it’s a little rushed, but I thought it would be cute to show there first day as friends and more than friends.
Flash sighed as he took one last look at Sunset’s painting, and left. He walked back to his car, and went home, but not in time to catch sight of a cart next to the park serving orange juice.
Freshmen year, after Sunset’s first day.
“No problem, hey you wan’t some orange juice?”
“Sure.”
Why am I thinking about her so much?! He got out of his car and walked inside. Wait a minuet, today is- He ran to the calendar Scootaloo used to write down the different days that her group met. February sixth. Oh jeeze.
February sixth, eight days until valentines day, and valentines day was when they had there first kiss, and how had he not remembered that?! I am the stupidest most idiotic bitch on the planet.
He sighed, Flash sat down on the couch. I do care about her, but were just friends, nothing more, nothing less, right?
Sunset Shimmer stared at a dresser in her apartment. She tilted her head, still staring at the spot on her dresser. She looked around. She saw her guitar, the photos of her friends.Why does it feel like something’s missing? She had this image in her mind of something else that should be there, but couldn’t make it out. There’s supposed to be something there! I swear I feel like it’s been missing for a year! What the heck is it? Sunset laid down in her bed, and pulled out a small deep blue bear with stars dotted across it’s body from under her pillow. One of the only possessions she was able to keep when she became Celesta's student, an Ursa Minor.
It was a small stuffed animal her father had gotten her when she was little, and her brother used to play with her as she used her magic to use it like a puppet and made the little toy dance while he watched.
She hugged it close. She knew if Rainbow knew this was actually in her backpack everyday at school she would never live it down, but still, it was something she never wanted to let go of, and she was afraid if she left it alone it would disappear like most things in her life did. Sunset pulled her bear closer and her eyes slowly drifted down, until she was asleep.
A loud pounding came from the door. Sunset yawned. “One minuet...” She closed her eyes and fell back asleep. The door fell to the floor with a loud crash. Still, Sunset was asleep. “Ah...maybe I shouldn't be the one to knock on doors, i’ll fix it-” Applejack walked inside fallowed by her friends.
They all looked around. “Why wasn’t she at Sugar Cube corner?” Fluttershy looked around, hoping to see her friend.
Rainbow grumbled. “We were supposed to go over what I told you all about this mourning!”
“Were is she?” Pinkie gleefully skipped around and down the hall to Sunset’s room. Rainbow dashed after her, (pun intended), and was fallowed by the rest of her friends. She burst out laughing when she saw Sunset.
“Aww, teddy bear!” Pinkie began to jump up and down.
Twilight walked up to Sunset’s bed. “I never thought I would see this happening.” She smirked.
“SUNSET!” Rarity looked wide eyed as she stared at her friend still somehow asleep, cuddleing a small deep blue colored bear with a star mark on it’s forehead.
Fluttershy stood next to the bed next to Twilight. ”Sunset, please wake up, we have something we need to tell you because you weren't there when Rainbow told us.”
Sunset sat up in her bed and yawned. “Hey guys...why are you here so early?”
“Seriously?! Rarity’s yelling dosn’t wake you up but Fluttershy’s whisper does?! How is that even scientific!?”
“Twilight, we passed unscientific a long time ago...” She looked over at Rainbow Dash, who was on the floor laughing so hard she wasn’t taking time to breath, and Pinkie Pie stood there giggling, while Rarity had out a sketch book and a pencil doodling something. “...What’s going on?”
Rainbow leaped up from the floor and yanked the little blue bear off of Sunset’s bed. “HEY!” Sunset grabbed it back from Rainbow and pulled it close, scowling at the rainbow haired girl. “Last time I let you touch something that was important to me you broke it!”
“It wasn’t that bad.”
“My favorite guitar?! You call looking like a pile of wood chips and strings not that bad?! I had to take it to Equestria so I could cast a rejuvenation spell on it!”
“Okay, I feel like we need an explanation to why you are in high school and your cuddling a toy bear like Rarity would a diamond.” Twilight crossed her arms.
“Pinkie cuddles that alligator all day!”
“We expect that from her, she’s wack!” Rainbow grabbed the little bear and held it away from Sunset. Sunset jumped out of her covers still wearing the clothes she had had on the day before and Ran after Rainbow, but no use, Rainbow had her super speed. Applejack stood in front of RD causing her to stop and regretfully hand it back to Sunset.
The crimson haired girl snatched it back and scowled. “Don’t take it again or I swear you will have a worse day than when you fell into the pig pen at AJ’s farm!”
“Yeash, sorry, it’s just a teddy bear.”
Sunset sat down on her bed as her eyes started to fill with tears. “My dad gave it to me when I was little.” She hugged it tighter.
Applejack grabbed Rainbow’s shoulders and shook her. “You little bitch!”
“I didn’t know!”
“You should have! Why else would she be cuddlin' a bear?!"
“Can we just tell her about what we did last night?” Fluttershy pushed the two apart. “I feel like we are getting a little off topic.”
Rainbow rolled her eyes. “Fine, Sunset, grab your guitar, the one you use during our performances, not the one I broke that you use to play stuff like Let It Rain.”
“Why?”
“Yesterday, I found a account on MyStable about us, and people were asking when we would do a performance with the Flash Drives.”
“So I talked to Sandalwood, and he said the Flash Drive fans wanted them to do it to, so...” Fluttershy smiled.
AJ let began to look exited. “And he agreed to it and we need to go and practice!”
Sunset wen’t pale. “I’m going to go change.” She put her bear back on the bed and walked away to the washroom.
Twilight looked over at Rarity. “What are you drawing?”
“I was inspired by that bear! The stars, the color!” She held out her scratchpad. “I have designed a whole new line!”

And end the third chapter! So, not usually one to write profanity, yes, i know, or sex, but I may or may not add that into a chapter in the future, hope you enjoyed!
The Rainboom’s walked down the halls of CHS with there instrument’s in hand. Rainbow went into deep thought and scratched her head. “Hey Sunset? What song did I ask you to write for the band?”
”You asked me to rewrite Let It Rain.”
“That’s it! You have the lyrics with you?”
”Yhea, I do.” She looked down. ”I liked the song the way it was before.” Sunset mumbled.
“What was that?”
“Nothing Dash.”
A loud crash sounded from the band room. “Sandalwood! Those are not for the band!”
“What else would they be for?!”
A loud groan. “Just give them back!”
“Why?!”
“I never thought you would be someone to steal!”
Sandalwood ran out of the band room holding a stack of paper, and Flash walked out with a defeated look on his face. “Please give them back!”
Fluttershy walked up to Sandalwood. “What are those?”
“Just song lyrics! A bunch of them!”
“Are they Flash’s?”
“Maybe...” He looked to the left to avoid her gaze.
She turned to Flash. “You don’t wan’t for these to be played, correct?” He nodded his head.
“Now Sandalwood, if Flash doesn't want his songs to be shared, then he doesn't have to, does he?”
“Okay fine, here.” He walked back to Flash and handed them to him.
Flash grabbed them and ran back to the room. “Thanks! Did you see anything else in side that box?” He called back.
Sandalwood rolled his eyes. “No...”
“Good, now lets practice, and NO one goes near my bag, got it?” Flash looked directly at Sandalwood.
“Fine.”
Rainbow ran over to Sunset. “Know were is that sheet music?”
Sunset handed over a binder. “I put it in here.”
Rainbow flipped through the pages. “Why are there so many?”
“Well, those are the songs I write myself, the ones you told me you didn’t want to play until I rewrote them to match up to the pop rock or whatever we usually do.”
Applejack snatched the binder away from RD. “You told her we would’t play these?! We coulda’ saved a load of troble if you hadn’t told her that!” She opened it and flipped to the last page. “This one was written a week after the fall formal! Right before you decided to create a band!” She read through a few pages. “And these are pretty darn good! How did ya write these yourself?!”
“Well, I wrote a few with my dad.” She took the binder and showed them the original Let It Rain. “This one and a few others.”
Applejack scowled at Dash. “You had her re write a perfectly good song?!”
“She agreed!”
“I didn’t really agree, more so you kinda told me I would have to do key board with Rarity instead of play my guitar.”
Everyone turned to Rainbow. “SERIOUSLY!?!”
She nervously laughed. “That was a month ago! I had lost tank and I was angry!”
Everyone shook there heads and wen’t on talking about the songs they should practice and stuff they would do over the winter break, and in Fluttershy’s case, getting asked to the valentines day dance by Sandalwood.
Sunset stayed away from the group, and instead sat in the corner and took out her guitar to play a few notes, and just like that, her hair magically became longer and pony ears appeared on her head. Sunset quietly played a few more cords, and sighed. The pony ears disappeared and she became human again.
Flash looked over at her from the other side of the room. Sunny was staring out a window at the sky. He felt like going over there, and reminding her she wasn’t alone, but she kind of was. No one noticed her, to wrapped up in everything else to notice she wasn’t there happily talking and having a good time. Flash watched her. He felt desire, but forced himself to stay were he was.
Rarity looked up at a clock on the wall. “Is anyone hungry? It’s lunch already.”
“How about pizza?” Rainbow looked around at everyone who nodded in agreement.
Sunset looked over at her. “I’m not eating pepperoni or meatball’s again.”
“What do you mean again?” Rarity tilted her head.
“Remember when I got sick and had to stay home from school for a week?”
“Yes.”
“Rainbow tricked me during a picnic.”
“Oh fine, one of them can be half plain.” Rainbow crossed her arms.
“Uh, don’t know if you noticed, but half of us here are vegetarian.” Sandalwood raised his hand fallowed by Twilight, Flash, Sunset, Fluttershy, and Brawly Beats.
“Fine, come on, who’s coming with me to get the pizza?”
“I’ll come along.” Applejack walked with Rainbow out the door.
Flash rolled his eyes. “How many of you think Applejack just went along to make sure Rainbow don't get cough’t up in a conversation with Soarin on the way over there?”
Everyone raised there hands. Twilight looked down at her phone. “That’s happened exactly three hundred ninety nine times since November.”

So, in one chapter I said the day it was when Flash looked at the calendar, so I changed it to help make this chapter make sense, this takes place on February 7. Also, I think I need to add a comedy tag.
Chapter 5
Everyone sat in chairs at the table in the band room eating their food. Rainbow began to laugh, hard. “And guess what happened when she went to Sweet Apple Acres? Applejack went to feed Missy, and Sunset had a panic attack and passed out!”
No one laughed except for Pinkie, who thought anything was funny. “Ooooo...guess what Sunset keeps in her book bag everyday at school!” She hugged gummy. “What’s blue and soft with-” Twilight flicked her finger at Pinkie’s ear. “OOOWW! What was that for?!”
“You know very well what that was for.”
Flash knew what they were talking about, and what the rest of Pinkie’s question was, What’s blue and soft with stars all over? Blueberry, that what. He knew Sunset carried around a small bear in her bag and slept with it every night, which while they dated thought was adorable, and he still kinda did. He had found out when Sunset had been digging through her bag while on a date because she couldn’t find a pencil, then the teddy bear she had named Blueberry fell out. At first, she had been more embarrassed than anything, but he had told her he thought it was cute.
Then Sunset had told him it was a gift from her father, and how she and her brother used to play together, skipping anything that involved pony’s or magic. Thinking back on it, it was pretty vague. Up until the fall formal, before he knew Equestria existed, he honestly thought something had happened to her parents and brother, and know that he knew they were probably still alive, he found himself wondering who they were.
Twilight took a bite of her pizza. “Remember when Starlight came here?”
“Oh do I remember? Girl wouldn’t stop talking about some guy she knew when she was a kid! Never mentioned his name though.” Sunset said.
Pinkie Pie hummed. “She talked about that guy all the time. I’m surprised I stayed awake while she described all the spells they did, remember Brawly, didn't you make friends with her?”
“Yhea, but she has a serious crush on whoever is on the other side of that portal.”
“There’s another you on the other side of that portal.” Flash reminded him. “You need to be more specific, that’s why you got an D on your science paper.”
“Another me? Impossible.”
“Oh yhea? This is a picture I took with Twilight a - not you Twi, other you - in her world when I was visiting a few months ago, it was taken at town square.” She took a photo out of her back pack. “Look at one of the ponies in the corner.” She laid it down in the middle of the table.
“What the HECK?!” He grabbed it and looked at the corner where there was another him talking to strangely, other Flash.
“Oh, and palace guard Flash was visiting from the Crystal Empire.”
“Excuse me, did you say palace guard?” Brawly snickered and handed the photo back to Sunset.
“Why else would he be wearing that helmet?” She put it back in her bag. “I once saw him and Twilight flirting with each other while he was guarding a library. ”
“Why would they need someone to guard a library?” Rainbow looked over at Flash who was laughing along with everyone.
“She said something about the captain of the royal guard not wanting them around each other or whatever.”
“That’s stupid.” Twilight rolled he eyes.
“The captain is your brother’s counter part, and Cadence's husband, and has a daughter.”
“WHAT!?! “If that’s true it’s going to be true in this world as well, and if it doesn't happen, the space time continuum could be ripped apart! It’s a wonder it hasn’t already with you and your counter part here!”
“But it hasn’t, has it, and need I remind you, you the one who tore rips through space and time, and Starswirl is the one who created the portal.” Sunset smirked.
“Oh, right. Timber said the whole giant purple demon thing was a good story.”
Brawly chimed in. “I still am pretty sure I almost died both times that has happened.” Flash wanted to punch him.
“Eh, really I would also have died if Twilight hadn’t gotten that stupid crown of my head.” Everyone looked over at her.”Twilight made me read all the books in the restricted section of the library when Wallflower Blush erased everyone’s memories.” Twilight’s eyes brightened. “If you wan’t to go, Celestia is going to cast a spell on you to make sure your not Chrysalis seaking revenge.”
“Who’s that?”
“Used to be the leader of the changelings before Thorax helped all of them reform and what not, she’s been out there ever since.”
“Wow, if she find’s her way here,”
“She can’t, she would have to get past Twilight, other Flash, Ray, -”
“Ray?” Applejack tilted her head. “How is a tiny gecko..”
“Yhea, forgot, Ray turned into this fire breathing talking dragon when I bring him there, Spike and Ember are showing him around Equestria this week.”
“How big is he?” Ringo asked.
“A bit bigger than Spike, so about right between him and Ember.”
Ringo looked over at Flash. “You think your dog is a giant dragon on the other side to?”
“I don’t know. Banana is pretty calm.”
“Dude, how can you say that when it dragged your dad across the park like it was nothing?”

A blue haired teen with light blue skin ran into the room out of breath. “Hey Crash, I was hold on.” Sorin took a deep breath. “Some guy just fell out of the statue and is currently screaming his head off.”
Sunset rolled her eyes. “If it’s that easy then I was wrong, Twi, we need to think up a way better to watch that portal.” She stood up. “I’ll handle it.” Sunset fallowed Sorin down the hall way and to the front door.
“Okay.” She pushed through the doors and looked strait at the statue. “You can come out know, no one’s gonna hurt you, we can get you back to Equestria.”
A teenage boy about the same age as Sunset with red hair and a white stripe down the middle of his forehead with a pair of silver framed glasses peeked out from behind the portal. “SUNSET?!”
“SUNBURST?!”
“WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING HERE?!”
“I WAS ABOUT TO ASK THE SAME THING!”
“Am I supposed to know what’s going on?” Sorin just looked confused.
Sunburst tried to copy the way Sunset was standing and managed to get up on two feet. “I haven’t seen you in years, hey were’s Blueberry?”
“I feel like that is really irellivent to the topic.”
“You didn’t loose it did you?!”
“No! It’s in my bag! C’mon! My friends are going to be so exited to meet you!”
“Your friends? Have you been living here?”
“Since I was around thirteen. I have a lot to tell you about!” She grabbed his hand and the trio walked back to the band room.
“Hey Sunset! Is that a new friend?” Pinkie jumped up and shook his hand so fast he got dizzy.
“Pinkie Pie?!”
“Yep! Are you a wizard or something?”
“Guys, meet my twin brother, Sunburst!” Sunset hugged him.
Everyone dropped there food onto there plates and there eyes went wide. “Twin?!”
“Yep! Hey Sunburst, is mom still a control freak who hates me for not going along with her *air quotes* life plan?”
“I think I fixed that, still not entirely sure, I mean about the control freak part, I still think she wouldn’t be to happy if you came back.”
“And dad?”
“Last I saw him he was coming home after another failed attempt to get to Celestia and find out were you were.”
“Eh, of course.”
“Hey Sunset?”
“Yeah?”
“What’s up with your grammar? You keep saying stuff like everyone instead of everypony.”
After they had finished explaining everything to Sunburst, Sunset took out her journal to write to Twilight.
Hey Twilight, so, do you know Sunburst?
Oh, hey Sunset! Yhea I know Sunburst, why?

Sunset shut her book. “Looks like you can stay for a little while!”
“Yes! Thank Celestia!”
“I still feel weird when you say that, that’s our principal’s name.”
“Oh, thank the cake!” Everyone started to laugh. “I picked it up from Pinkie and Starlight, and the rest of Equestria.”
“You guys should hear some of the sayings they have there! there’s one that our dad used to use, -”
“What in the rainbow cupcake doodle will I do with you two?” They said together.
“Oooo... tell me more.” Pinkie tapped her fingers together with an evil smile on her face.
“I’m guessing you want to know what the best dessert’s are there?” Sunset smirked.
“Yep!”
“They have a triple chocolate fudge brownie rolled in chocolate sauce and frozen wrapped with crispy treats and cake, then covered in more chocolate with a scoop of ice cream on top. No one but other Pinkie has ever been able to eat the whole thing herself.” Sunburst looked over at Sunset. “I think I maybe shouldn't have told her about that one.”
Pinkie was writing down notes on how to make the dessert. “I shall beat the record! I will eat two of them!”
“Pinkie, that’s not healthy.” Twilight frowned.
Sunset laughed. “Have you met Pinkie? She could eat ten of those things with out any side effect’s!”
Flash smiled. He had never seen Sunset that happy. He wanted to tell her he felt like he wanted to be more than friends, about all the songs and the locket he had saved, about everything. But instead, “I think we should start practice.” And everyone agreed, and as they finished, Sunburst hugged his sister again for the amazing show.
Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter. February ninth, a cool day, filled with joy, for most people. Flash Sentry walked down the streets of Cantorlot city, and every were he looked, couples were all smiling and happy, giving gifts and sharing kisses, here, in this city, it was the season of love, but that was always there. It was in the air, more so than ever, and it just made him want to tell Sunset how he felt more, but just forced all his feelings away.
Flash looked to the left, huge mistake. On the other side of the street was a park, and he caught sight of Sunset and her brother playing with the cake twins. She must be babysitting for Mrs. Cake. And, somehow, he found himself thinking about how loyal, honest, and sweet she was. She had come so far since the fall formal, from raging she-demon bitch, (Applejack’s words, not his), to a sweet, kind, and passionate girl.
Flash turned away to avoid being seen and walked away. He didn’t pay attention to where he was going. SMACK! Please don’t be Sunset, please don’t be Sunset. He opened his eyes only to see himself staring back at him, only, it wasn’t him. This Flash was a pony. He looked down at himself, he was as well. His eyes widened. I must have walked strait through the portal!
“Impostor!” Pony Flash growled, and his wings shot out and he attacked his look alike.
“Hey Flash, what’s going...OH HOLY CRAB APPLES!” A yellow colored dragon with dark spots ran over to them fallowed by Spike and a blue dragon of all different shades. He gasped. “DON’T TELL SUNSET I SWORE!” Ray backed away from the two Flash’s and hid behind a bookshelf.
Spike grabbed pony Flash’s wing and pulled him away from his double. Spike let go and pony Flash crossed his hooves and scowled.
Ember tilted her head. “Did I miss something? And also, WHAT THE HECK JUST HAPPENED!?!”
Spike went and tugged Ray out from behind the book shelf. “Calm down, and dude, that’s not a swear!”
“But Sunset told me I shouldn’t say it!”
“That’s for when Applejack’s around, her family considers it as one.”
“Okay, hey, Is that the guy in the picture I found under Sunset’s bed?” He pointed to CHS Flash.
“What?” He stared at what used to be a tiny gecko.
“A few months ago Sunset went to school so I went under her bed to find my quarter than I dropped the day before, then I found this framed picture of two kids that look like Sunset and you, only you were human and looked two years younger, and Sunset was, like, three inches shorter than you.”
She still has that? That picture of the day we met?
Equestrian Flash looked at him. “How the heck did you not say anything when you met me?”
“You’re from here, you couldn’t be the one in the photo.”
“Right...”
CHS Flash got up. “Ray, can we talk, alone?”
“Sure, whatever.” Ray led him to the balcony and gave Flash a quick flying lesson before they took of into the clouds.
“So what did you wan’t to talk to me about?”
“Well, first off, me and Sunset used to date.”
“...and?”
“And I broke up with her and she ran off crying.”
“and know?”
“I still like her, a lot! I keep on telling my self were just friends but I really want to be more than that and I’m afraid if I tell her I’ll ruin what we already have!”
“She still likes you.”
“She... does?”
“Oh Mr. Captain Obvious!”
“I get it, but how am I supposed to tell her, and there’s the dance coming up and I want to ask her to it.”
“For starter’s, It’s the ninth, leaving you five days.”
“Five?”
“Five, and I suggest telling her before she get’s asked.”
“Before? What do you mean?”
“I hide on the top of her head when we go into a store or to her work at that sushi place, which is weird because she’s vegetarian, anyway, there’s these people that order from there just to get a chance to ask her out, she says no every time, but you never know.”
“Sunset is really pretty, her eyes, her amber skin, her bright crimson hair...”
Ray rolled his eyes. “Did you mean to say that out loud?”
“No, I definitely didn’t.”
“Second, you know about Blueberry, right?”
“Yes.”
“And you think it’s cute?”
Flash slowly nodded his head. “Yeah.”
Ray laughed. “Okay, just checking, so you really do love her huh?”
“Yes, I always did, I was a heartless bitch.”
“I won’t argue with that, but you can’t just go up to her and ask her to that dance, I’d think it would just scare her off.”
“Okay, what should I do?”
“Sunset likes music, you could write her a song.”
“What would I even call it?”
“Bittersweet.” Ray smirked.
“I can’t just-”
“You like her don’t you?”
“Yes.”
“Then do it.”
“But I-”
“Quit fighting me about it, you write her the song, then sing it to her, what’s so hard about that? She writes songs in practically ten minuets.”
“She’s the only one in the whole school that can do that.”
“Oh...well give it your best shot, I’v been here for less than three days and I have a dragon friend.”
“That’ll be one hell of a long distance relationship.”
“Sunset already said I can visit whenever I want and said she could come whenever she want’s, and I already told Amethyst what I really am and were I came from, she don't care.”
“That’s easy for you.”
“Should be easy for you to, your a nice guy, I can see why she likes you.”
Flash sighed, “Okay, mind helping me with the lyrics?”
“Sure, sounds good, but I need to get to the dragon lands at four.”
“Let me guess, Amethyst?”
Ray smiled and blushed. “Yeah.”
“Well we should get back so I can get my guitar.” I’m getting advice about my crush from her dragon turned gecko, wow I really do love her, maybe we can be more than friends...

“Sunset Shimmer! Over here!” A cotton candy haired teen waved at her.
“Hey Pinkie, what are you up to?” Sunset looked over at the portal, where Ray was waiting on the other side to pick him up. It was February tenth now.
“Me and Rarity were just talking about the dance! Cheese Sandwich just asked me to it!” Pinkie began to jump up and down, extremely exited, it was obvious she and Cheese were planning some sort of prank.
“And I was asked by Compass Star!”
“Nice to hear, but I need to go get Ray-”
“Who asked you?” Pinkie grabbed her arm.
“Well i’v been asked by a few boys but I turned them all down.” A few was an under statement. more like a fourth of the school.
“Do you have you’re eye on someone in particular?” Rarity smirked.
“No, I’m just not interested in dating, I need to go.” Pinkie wouldn’t let go of her arm. “Pinkie, let go.”
“No! You need to tell me!”
“Tell you what?”
“Who you have a crush on!”
“I don’t have a crush, I’m not going on any dates, and you two need to chill out!” She pulled herself free from Pinkie and ran through the portal.
Rarity sighed. “Pinkie, what are you holding?”
Pinkie held something behind her back and smiled. “You’ll see...”
Sunset landed on the floor of Twilight’s castle. “Hey Sunset.”
“Starlight?”
“Yep, Twilight’s not here, she had to go on some sort of magic journey or something.”
“Like always, so were’s Ray?”
“About that, I may have miscast a little bitty spell and it went a little wrong.”
“What do you mean?”
Ray walked into the room holding talons with a light blue and purple dragon with scattered white scales.
“He looks fine to me.”
“He may, or may not, stay as a dragon when you bring him back.”
“WHAT?!”
“Just for a few days, It’ll wear off really soon.”
“How soon?”
“Just a few days, I’d say it’ll last until Friday.”
“Oh crab apples.”
Sunset walked back through the portal with Ray and his dragon friend behind her, and the both stayed as dragons. Starlight must have been practicing and it hit both of them.
“Guys, you need to keep a low profile, people in our town freaked out enough when they found out there were girls with magic powers running around and that they had to depend on a group of high school girls to defeat the monsters and stuff that show up here, imagine what the’ll do if they see dragons.”
“Okay, so were are we going?”
“First, to Twilight’s house, cause if I don’t tell her I’m now taking care of a few dragons she’ll kill me.”
Amethyst looked around. “Do they have Gems here?”
“Yes, but there for jewelry, not for eating.”
“Okay, I brought some of my own, want some?” She took a orange gem out of a saddle bag she was holding and offered it to Ray.
“Yes please! Gems are actually pretty good when I get to be a dragon.” He took it and began eating the shiny rock. “That makes me wonder what your necklace tastes like Sunset.” She scowled. “I’m kidding!”
Later, when they reached Twilight’s house, Sunset rang the door bell. “Don’t freak out when her dog introduces himself.”
The door flew open and a purple and green dog walked out of it. “Spike the dog’s the name, talking a lot is my game, hey Sunset.”
Amethyst jumped back at the sight of a talking dog. “What the HECK?!”
“Umm...Twilight’s in her lab.” He stood away from everyone as they walked inside.
Ray looked up at Sunset who stopped at a door and sighed. “Let’s hope Timber isn't here.”
“He’s not, the last time I went in there and Timber was over I had to wash my eyeballs out.” Spike pushed open the door. “Hey Twilight, Sunset and, uhh...don’t go all science freak please.”
Twilight turned around in her chair a large smile grew over her face. “Hey Sunset! OMG RAY’S A DRAGON!” She jumped up and grabbed a pencil and paper from a drawer in her desk. “This is amazing! I’m going to put a pause on the project Pinkie gave me!”
“Did she trick you into doing her homework again?”
“Nope, just gave me...uh...special thing to figure out for a little hunch she has.”
“Okay...anyway, Starlight misfired a spell and Ray and his dragonfriend are going to stay here for a few days, Starlight aid he would go back to gecko on friday.”
“Friday’s the valentines day dance.” Twilight looked up at Sunset. “You say yes to any of the boys who have asked you to it?”
“No-”
“Great! I mean uhh...can you guys give me some more info about dragons?”
“Okay...” Ray said.
Twilight gasped. “HE CAN TALK NOW!?!”

Man this took so long! And yet it is so short, sorry about that, I had like three essay’s to write for school! Am I in Harvard or something?!
Flash Sentry once again walked down the halls of CHS with Scootaloo trailing behind. She had been talking the whole time about some math project she wanted help on, to be honest, he wasn’t listening, or helping for that matter. It was a fairly simple project, and he would always end up being the one doing all the work, the last time, the time before that, and all the other times she had asked for help. Why that always happened, he had no idea, somehow she was always sneaking off. She learned how to do that from Rainbow Dash.
It was the end of the day, finally. The last few classes took to long and now he had to practice with the Flash Drives and the Rainbooms. If there wern’t so many people going to be there, he would tell Sunset how he felt then. And if she hated him for it (She probably would), at least he would know, That’s better than not knowing, right?
But was that better? What is he ended up completely depressed? Which he kinda already was half way there. But what if she felt the same? If she did, would they go to the dance together? Would he ask her for a date? He loved every moment he saw her happy and wanted her back.
I want her, I love her, I want to feel her soft sweet lips on my lips.
And how sappy and love sick was he acting right now? What if she-
“Are you listening? Cause you just walked into a wall.” Flash’s mind returned to the world around him. Scootaloo was looking up at him completely annoyed, and indeed, he had walked into a wall next to the band room. How long had he been wondering and thinking about all those possibilities?
“I’m listening now Scoots, just got a little zoned out for a moment.”
“You walked into a wall, you weren’t in the zone, you were on another planet, see you later, I got to meet with Sweetie and Apple Bloom, and good luck with that crush of your’s!” Scootaloo walked off, just as she went out of sight, he herd a voice. Sun Touched Love. A song he and Sunset had written almost two years ago. Sunset was singing that song. She was playing that guitar he had given her. The same one Rainbow had broken once.
It used to be her favorite song. A rocket of hope launched through his heart. It began to beat fast, she still remembered that song, she sang that song while she waited for everyone else to show up. It was beautiful, her voice was like an angel’s. Her guitar, each note, each word, all memorized and perfect. He loved her, she seemed to feel the same. Maybe...
Argh! Why does this have to be so confusing and hard? Thousands of questions with no answers and nothing makes sense! Flash wanted to go in there and tell her. Tell her, and finally answer all his questions about how she felt. Dang it Scootaloo! Your the one who put all these thought’s into my head and got me feeling like this! Why?! Why do you have to be so stupid Flash?! Those people were right! I am a bitch! Who breaks up with someone and then want’s them back?!
She is really pretty, and sweet and kind and-
A hand tapped his shoulder. Please don’t be Sunset, PLEASE DON’T BE SUNSET! Sunset was still playing her song, so it couldn’t be her, still he found himself begging the universe that it wasn’t some how her. Flash turned.
“Hia Flash! What ya doing?” Pinkie herd the last notes of the song. “Oh.. Who’s playing?! It’s so pretty! Wait, is that a love song? Sunset! Yes I AM SMARTEST! TWILIGHT! RARITY! GET OV-”
“Pinkie please don’t call them! Please, I was just heading to practice and I herd Sunset playing and...”
“I REALLY AM SMARTEST!” Pinkie punched the air. “I knew it, my plan is working!”
“What?”
“NOTHING!”
“Okay...I’ll just go now bye!” He tried to walk off but Pinkie grabbed his arm.
“Oh no you don’t mister love sick loser! I know your little secret! Flashimmer will soon be real!
“WHAT!?!”
“I knew you were still crushing on her! I knew you would get back together since you two broke up and I know that song is one you both wrote together!”
“HOW!?!”
“You are very bad at hiding things and Sunset is to!”
“What do you want me to do about it? I’m not a professional actor!”
“Vincent is! Which means you are to!”
“Who the heck is Vincent?!”
“The voice actor duh! Have you not been paying attention?!”
“Okay, I’m out!” He tried to walk away but Pinkie grabbed him again.
“Oh no you don’t mister gangster from the nineteen seventies!”
“Okay what’s up with you calling me all these weird names?!!”
“Just listen! I don’t want you to do anything that will end up with you and Sunset together and being a thing! I will take care of everything......” Pinkie used an evil voice. “Mwahahahaha!” As she ran off still evilly cackling.
A moment later she came running back. “I forgot we had band practice!”

February 9
Four days. Four days. Just four days. The song is ready, I might just be able to approach Sunset without going speechless and passing out. Flash sighed. "Well, maybe I can do this, it's the weekend, no worries, just relax." He sighed again and Scootaloo un-buckled her seat to climb into the front of the car.
"Okay, Flash, you need to chill out this weekend and not worry about that dance, you know that face you make when your really nervous?"
"Yeah?"
"You've been making it the whole ride."
"Okay, where here, see ya later Scoots, have a good time with Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle." Scootaloo jumped out of her cousins car and waved as she walked away to the CMC's clubhouse. She ran back just a moment later. "Can you pick up my new shoes from the mall? I need some new ones, my old ones have holes in them."
"Sure Scoots, you have gym on Monday right? Judging by the time Iron Will was my coach, your gonna need them, your getting Spit Fire next year, she's better but expect a lot of shouting."
"Better than Mr. Will, thanks, bye Flash." She ran off again and Flash chuckled before driving away from Sweet Apple Acres and heading toward the Cantorlot mall.
It was the afternoon, the sun an hour or so away from setting. Scootaloo was having a sleepover with the CMC, and his parents were out of town, while his brother was somewhere off playing poker with his friends.
The sky was slowly becoming blue and red, with mixes of yellow and pink. A light was in the distance, a bright light, and, sirens? He drove down the road and toward the mall, while the sirens grew loader. What is that? He pulled up closer to the mall, a gasped. Half of it was on fire! Ambulances and Fire engines rushed people out and fire fighters ran to grab the hose.
He jumped out of the car, no more people were evacuating, every one was gathered at the front watching. Flash ran closer to the group. Sunset's boss, the owner of the sushi restaurant looked panicked, and began looking around and counting off employees in his head.
Flash ran over to him. "What happened?!"
"My sushi burns! Twenty seven employees work, only twenty six here! Sunset Shimmer is not here!"
"What?!"
"I can not find Sunset! She not here!"
"I'll get her, you find some place safe!" Flash ran past the fire fighters so fast they couldn't stop him. He ran through the main door. Sunset's job was to the left, the whole thing was burning!
"Sunset! Sunset where are you?!" He ran through the door of the restaurant. A wooden beam fell and landed in the middle of the floor. He herd coughing and gasps for air. "Sunset!" He glances to the right where Sunset was on the floor and covered in ash. She was coughing and trying to stand but fell to the ground again. Another wooden beam set on fire and began to fall in her direction. He ran and picked her up, just in time before the beam fell to the floor. Flash felt her body go limp. She was out and the air was getting worse.
Flash rushed out the door just before the whole restaurant collapsed. "Your okay, I got you Sunset." He ran, faster, the air became thicker and harder to breath as he ran. Sunset coughed again and opened her eyes just for a second before passing out again.
"Someone, HELP!" Flash rushed out the entrance, and a firefighter and a nurse lead them to an ambulance, putting Sunset on a stretcher and seating Flash in the back next to her, then it drove off. "Your going to be okay Sunset, your going to be okay, please, your going to be okay."
Febuary 12: Tuesday, Monday was a teacher work day, so it is Tuesday.
"Applejack, Fluttershy, Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and Rarity, please report to the principals office."
"What did I do this time?" Rainbow looked up at the speaker. "I don't remember pulling any pranks this week."
"Well, lets get goin' " Applejack put her book back into her locker before walking down the hall fallowed by the rest of the Rainbooms.
"Come in girls." Luna's voice sounded worried through the door after they knocked. Why was she worried? They all walked in. "Please take a seat."
"What's wrong Principal Celestia?" Twilight said after sitting down.
"Girls, are you aware that the mall burned down on Sunday?"
"Yes ma'am." Twilight looked around at her friends who all nodded.
"And were you aware that Sunset Shimmer was doing a shift at her job that day?"
Rainbow looked around nervously before looking back at the two sisters. "She told us she had the day off."
"Girls, Sunset was there when the fire started."
"Wait, what?"
"I will tell you the truth girls, Sunset was on a shift at the sushi restaurant when the fire started, and, was the last one to get out."
"So, she's okay?"
"No, not even close, you girls owe Flash a thank you."
"Why? What happened, OH SHIT IS SUNSET DEAD!?!"
"No, and please don't swear, Sunset got stuck inside, and Flash managed to get her out just before it collapsed, all of you are excused from school, and on your way to the Red Berry ER, you need to go get Ray, but I was informed by Sunset on Friday that Sunburst was in Equestria until tomorrow, and you all need to leave at once to get to Red Berry."
All of them said thank you and good bye before rushing out of the school in a panic. "WE NEED TO GET THERE, FAST!"
Flash took Sunset's hand as he saw her eyes slowly open. "W-what happened?"
"Oh Sunset your okay! Sort off." He let go of her hand and looked into her eyes.
"F-Flash? W-what's going on?"
"There was a fire, and you were hurt." He told her the whole story. Sunset met his gaze when he finished. She placed both her hands on either side of his face and pulled him closer and placed a kiss on his lips. He eased into it, stroking her hair with one hand while placing the other on the left side of her face. Sunset broke the kiss.
"Flash I love you!"
"I love you Sunset Shimmer! I'v loved you since we met! I never stopped loving you! Your my sunny love and I could never stop loving you!" He pulled her closer for another kiss, deep and sweet.
Sunset moaned through the kiss, and when it ended she spoke again. "I love you to! Oh Flash I love you! I missed you and I wanted you back since we broke up!"
"I love you Sunset Shimmer, and that can never change, I kept your locket and all our songs."
"I love you Flash Sentry, and I missed you more than anything." They pulled in for another kiss just before the Rainbooms and Ray rushed into the room.
"SUNSET ARE YOU OKAY!?!" They all asked before noticing she and Flash were still in the middle of a long kiss.
"Oh my jeezies! I told you not to do anything like this until the dance! My plan is ruined!" Pinkie exclaimed.
The two pulled away from each other. "What plan?" Sunset said as she stayed gazing into Flash's eyes.
"I don't know, Pinkie just started talking about it before our last band practice, I have no idea what it was about." He still didn't break the gaze in her eyes.
Pinkie crossed her arms and Rarity and Twilight fallowed.
"I had planed a bunch of stuff that would lead up to the dance and got Twilight and Rarity in on the whole plan, I made a whole thing that would happen and during the dance you two would get back together."
"Well Pinkie, we still ended up together." Sunset said. "Youch! I just noticed the burns!" She indeed had multiple burns and blisters down her arms and a large scar down her neck, she also had burns up her back. "OW!"
Ray rushed over to her. "Why did this have to happen?! How did that fire even start?!"
Flash shook his head. "The investigators said it was caused by some faulty wiring."
"But I had news to tell you and I thought it would be under much better circumstances!"
"What did you want to tell me, Ray?"
"Amethyst is with an egg!"
Sunset had a puzzled expression on her face. "You two must have had a fun night."
"Hmm, yeah, but her name is going to be Golden Heart."
Sunset chuckled. "Well Sunday sure became a crazy love fest."
Flash tilted his head. "Sunday? It's Tuesday."

Three hours later after just a lot of conversation and what not.
Sunset got out of her bed and stood up. She walked over to the other side of the room and picked up her phone from the table, which had been in her pocket when the whole fire thing started. "How are you walking? The doctor said you wouldn't be able to for a week!" Flash said.
"From Equestria, remember? Has it's perks." She sat back down on the bed. "Any one know of what has become of the mall? More specifically, my job?"
Twilight took her phone out of her purse. "The investigators found a lot of faulty wiring in that sports shop were Rainbow works, and don't worry Fluttershy, all the animals got out, including the fish, somehow, any way, half the mall burned down and the buisnesses are moving to other places until it is re-built."
"And how many people were hurt?"
"One, you, everyone else got out in time."
"Figures, always the one most targeted for bad things to happen, lets see, the Fall Formal, if Twilight hadn't gotten that crown off my head for an extra five minuets I would have died, Anon-a-Miss, every one hated me and Curly Winds beat me up, the time Wallflower found that stupid memory stone, the other time I went to visit Twilight and a griffon crashed into me, and a million other things I'm not even gonna bother to list."
"You know I was freaking out about talking to you."
"Did you write a sappy love song that is also really sad cause you used to do that all the time." Sunset giggled.
"I... did. I was writing it for you, and unrelated, you know who Vincent is? Pinkie said something about a voice actor?"
"I don't know, Pinkie keeps on mentioning a girl named Rebecca around me and says stuff like 'voice actor'.
"Have NONE of you been paying attention?!" Pinkie exclaimed. She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. "How come no one here listens to common sense?"
Twilight laughed then put away her phone. "Pinkie, your the exact opposite of common sense."
An hour later, Sunset got to leave, and the doctor was still trying to figure out why she had healed so fast. Her arms were still slightly burned, making them just a bit darker in color. Sunset was walking with Flash while her friends went back to the school, Flash had called principal and she had let him skip classes for the day after explaining, exactly what had happened, and she said she had suspected him the whole time. They walked through the park, happily chatting, a few people who had witnessed there break up were on afternoon walks, and stoped to watch them for a moment before walking away with confused looks. Ray happily soared through the clouds, out of sight.
"So, you know that dance on Friday?" Flash asked with a nervous tone in his voice.
"Yeah, the Valentines day dance, Pinkie already decorate the auditorium?"
"Yeah, she did, and I was wondering, if you, maybe, might want.....to go with me?"
"Oh Flash, you know that's a yes, I wouldn't say yes to anyone else."
"So, me, over what? Half the boys in the school who have asked you?"
"Hey Ray! How many times have other boys asked me to the dance?" She called up. Ray flew down and hummed for a moment before counting with his talons.
"About one hundred and thirty three if you count this time."
Flash laughed. "Okay, I get it, you get annoyed?"
"Oh defiantly, you know how many times I felt like punching Curly Winds? He wouldn't stop bothering me about going to the dance with him."
"Curly Winds? I hate that guy, he's always really rude, and a know it all. I'v had to deal with him in my same class for the past four years."
"Ha! I wondered why you always looked annoyed when he showed up!"
"Haha, very funny Sunny."
"And now your rhyming!" Sunset laughed again. "And you haven't called me that, in what? a year and a half?"
"Almost, we broke up in March."
"March, yeah, that's it, I was a little bitch at that point."
"Oh quit it, none of that stuff at school ever fallowed us out side of CHS and you know it."
"Whatever."
They talked and went to get ice cream during the rest of the afternoon, wow things were moving pretty fast but Flash kinda liked it.
Author's Note
unrealated topic, in friendship games, principal Cinch is black mailing Twilight, isn't it a kids show? And, did anyone else see princess Twilight hop through the portal at the end and get like, really confused? and when she says 'time travel loop' was she talking about the thing with Starlight? If so, doesn't that mean these things were going on at the exact same time? And why is Sunset never mentioned in any MLP episode's?
Friday...
Finally Friday. The dance was starting in fifteen minuets. Everyone was exited. Flash and Sunset talked in the halls between classes, and at the end of the day, went to their homes to change. An hour later everyone was back at the school. Sunset met up with Flash at the front and they shared a kiss, one of many that had been shared over the last few days during dates.
Sunset was wearing a cyan dress with light yellow trim, really a longer version of the cyan shirt she liked to wear, she left her hair the same as it was and wore her same jacket and actually, a pair of tennis shoes.
Flash just wore jeans and his white shirt and black jacket with a pair of blue tennis shoes. Neither of them really cared what they looked like during the dance, neither were big on fancy things. They laughed and talked as they walked through the doors, Vinyl Scratch was playing from the D.J. booth, everyone was dancing and laughing and eating from the snack table. Sunset saw Rarity looking over at her, probably because this was a dance and she was wearing tennis shoes and a jacket, and no make up what so ever, once, a few weeks ago, Rarity had asked Sunset why she has never used makeup, she had said she didn't 'get it'.
Rarity, had actually fainted. Yeah, that had been a fun day.
After literally two hours, the two bands finally finished there songs, and Flash and Sunset finally got to dance with each other, and, principal's Luna and Celesta had decided to play a mix of a bunch of songs from the 80's before the slow dance started. Flash had to drag Sunset onto the dance floor. She didn't exactly want to slow dance, which she told him she never has before.
"C'mon Sunset, you can't be any worse than Soarin and Dash are right now." He said, glancing over at the couple who where currently stepping on each other's feet constantly and falling over and over again.
"No, no no!" She looked around at everyone else who was dancing.
"It'll be fine Sunset, you used to walk on all fours in another world yet I'm clumsier than you on two feet." He said. "Please just come."
"Fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnneeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.................." She fallowed him to the dance floor and Flash put one hand on her back and another on her shoulder. Sunset did the same to him and he guided her through each step. She sure stepped on his toes a few times but, no high heels like most girls liked to wear so, didn't hurt much at all.
Sunset looked into his eyes. "Flash I'm so sorry for how I was in the past."
Flash leaned in closer to her and kissed her deeply. "Don't be sorry, I love you Sunny love, we can forget the past and look to the future."
"I like the sound of that, yeah, look to the future, look forward to the good and forget the bad."
"I love you."
"I love you to."
3 years later....
Sunset cradled a small baby in her arms, a little girl, who Flash and Sunset had named Solana. Spanish for Sunshine, because Flash came from a Mexican heritage, and Sunset had come from a family who's names usually had to do with the sun, really the perfect name.
Flash took Solana from Sunset's arms and rocked his daughter while Sunset sat down on the couch with a large smile. Cheese Cake, Pinkie's daughter, was having a play date with Solana and played with blocks on top of a blanket layed down on the floor. Cheese Cake stood up and toddled over to the couch and pulled a cupcake out of her hair, something Pinkie had probably taught her. She offered it to Sunset. "Salolo cupcaky?"
"No thanks Cheese Cake, I... don't eat hair cupcakes."
She shrugged and stuffed it into her mouth, then sat back down on the blanket and yawned. She curled up and fell backward down on the blanket asleep. Flash smiled and put now sleeping Solana down on the blanket next to her friend. He sat down next to his wife and they hugged eachother.
"I love you, and our lives are finally perfect." Flash said.
"I love you to Flash, and are lives are finally perfect, well, except for the crazy monsters and stuff from Equestria we have to handle once a week."
"Eh, close enough, and we can finally be together, nothing here to stop us."
"No more thought's of 'Nothing more? right?'.
"Finally those thought's are out of our heads and we are together, for good."
"I love you, thanks for giving me a second chance."
"Hey, everyone deserves a second chance."
They both smiled and hugged again. There lives were perfect, and with every challange that came their way, they would face it together, and never be torn apart again.

“I want this Twilight, and your trying to take it from me! Some friend.”
“That’s not why-”
“Common Twilight, we got things to do!” Applejack took Twilight’s hand and they began walking away.
“You think your gonna help them?! I bet you have no idea what your even doing!”
After Twilight and the rest of the Rainboom’s walked away, Brawly went to do check the equipment and Ringo left to get his guitar. Flash rolled his eyes and began to walk off but a girl with fiery red hair and cyan eyes blocked his path. “What the heck?! Get out of my way!”
Sunset stood where she was, refusing to move. “I saw what just happened.”
“So?”
“So?! So!?! Is that all you have to say?! You made the princess of friendship cry!”
“And I’m supposed to care because?”
She scowled at him. “This is not you.”
“I’m pretty sure I’m me and you need to get out of my way!”
Sunset stared into his eyes, they were slightly tinted with a green magic, it was hardly noticeable. “Flash Sentry! I am talking to you! You need to listen, I know weave had a rough past and I was an awful person, but this is not the Flash Sentry I know and used to care for! Were’s the goofball who told awful jokes and always smiled no matter what the universe threw at him? Where’s the real Flash Sentry? This is not you Flash!”
Those words echoed through his mind, just, for a moment, the tint of magic left by the sirens vanished. “Wha-what happened? Sunset? Oh shit! I remember! Why was I such a jerk?!”
“I’m not sure how long your going to be snapped out of this curse but you need to listen! The Dazzling’s are sirens from Equestria! They feed off of hatred and anger, the more we give them the more they will control us! The Rainboom’s are trying to fix everything and Twilight’s writing a counter spell! You have to try to fight this Flash!”
Flash’s eyes tinted with the pale green magic again, and he pushed her out of the way. “Get out of here Sunset Shimmer! No one wants you here, your still the bitch you were back at the fall formal!” And he walked away, angry, mad, full of hate. And just as he reached the doors of the gym were Trixy and the allusions were currently playing, his own mind came back.
What have I done? Did I just say that? The Dazzling’s... there sirens from the other world! Sunset...I just ruined everthing! Why is Twilight writing the song though? Why had they not asked Sunset to write a counter spell? She’s the one who knew everything about writing songs! She hasn’t showed them any of her songs...but why? And how were they going to fix this? I was such a jerk! I just told Sunset what everyone thought of her to her face! And I just took away any confidence she had in herself being a better person now! I need to call someone...arrgg stupid curse! The magic of the sirens song reaturened, just as one last thought rang in his mind, Love, that’s what breaks this, Sunset said she used to care for me, love is the answer to all this, oh Sunset, I’m so sorry...
