Bow Hothoof and Windy Whistles were walking together. They found a large building right in front of them. The building looked like some kind of a factory. It was a real factory.
"I guess that this is where our Rainbow is doing her duty?" Windy Whistles asked her husband.
"I think so. The question is, are we allowed to enter here?" Bow Hothoof replied at his wife's question, but he asked back.
"We will see. Even if we are sentenced to death, we have more possibility to escape. We are grown-ups. And how could a daughter kill her own parents?" Windy Whistles said.
Bow Hothoof knocked on the main entrance of the Rainbow Factory.
"Hello? This is the Rainbow Factory, right? Is there anypony inside? We are the parents of Rainbow Dash. We came here to visit our daughter to find out what is she doing. Can we enter?" Hothoof asked.
A stallion opened the door. His eyes met the parents of Rainbow Dash.
"Correct address. This is the Rainbow Factory. Unfortunately, we don't greet guests from outside. As you know, Rainbow Factory is not a tour site. And it is vital for controlling the weather. We make rainbows from here. Visitors are disruptive from doing our duty." The stallion said.
"But we are Rainbow Dash's parents! Are you telling me that even parents of a manager in the factory cannot enter? Who made this rule? You don't trust us?" Windy Whistles protested against the stallion who was reluctant to let her and her husband enter.
"We are so sorry, ma'am. We only let guests and visitors enter in one particular occasion. I won't have to explain what that particular occasion is. I won't also talk about why I am not explaining about specific details. Are you done with asking questions? Then, goodbye. Have a good day." The stallion said goodbye to the couple and closed the door.
"Wait! This is an important matter! Please let us enter!" Windy Whistles kept shouting.
However, there wasn't a single reply from the inside.
"Should we give up? Or should we find a way to get in?" Bow Hothoof asked.
"We never gave up! We are going into the factory, no matter what it takes! It is for our Rainbow!" Windy exclaimed.
Windy begun to come up with an idea to sneak into the factory. She clapped her hooves when she knew what to do.
"I have a plan, dear. But before we put this plan into action, can you promise something? This plan utilizes dishonesty, which is lying. Could you understand lying just for once?" Windy asked to Hothoof.
"Of course! If it is to meet Rainbow, I could lie 100 times!" Bow Hothoof replied.
"I see that you are really dedicated. I really appreciate that. Okay, here is the plan. Listen carefully. The plan is quite simple. Let's pretend that we are the workers of the Rainbow Factory who were in a long term vacation. We will going to trick to original workers of the factory. If the original workers admit that we are workers, we would be able to go in! And inside the factory, we would meet Rainbow Dash!" Windy Whistles explained about her plan to go in.
Hothoof nodded. Windy's plan sounded quite good. It sounded like that it would work.
"I can lie for that. Let's introduce ourselves as the old workers who were in a long vacation. You know, a vacation for years. They would probably let us in unless they aren't able to look things carefully and be skeptical about things near them." Hothoof said.
"Great! I'm so happy that you agreed with my plan, honey. What are we waiting for? Let's go." Windy pointed towards the factory entrance again.
Bow Hothoof and Windy Whistles struggled not to be nervous and flew towards the door again. This time, Hothoof knocked on the door.
"Hello? We are the couple who knocked on the door a while ago. We suddenly remembered that we were the past workers of the Rainbow Factory. We were just in a very long vacation." Windy said.
The door opened again and the same stallion came out. This time, he acted different. The stallion gestured the pegasi couple to come into the factory. Perhaps they were able to go in.
"Looks like we are able to go in!" Hothoof said in joy.
"What are we waiting for, hon? Let's go in! Ooh, we are so excited that we could see Rainbow! We heard that Rainbow works as the manager of the Rainbow Factory." Windy said.
The pegasi couple flew into the factory and landed gently on the floor. They looked around to see what is in the factory. They were machines that were on a run just like any other factories.
The Rainbow Factory was quite alike other factories. The only two differences were that Rainbow Factory creates something that is intangible, and it uses other alive ponies as the materials.
"So this is where our daughter works in. The Rainbow Factory!" Bow Hothoof said.
"Hothoof, did you forget? You have to pretend that you are the past worker of this factory. Or else, we will be forced to get out of the factory again!" Windy Whistles was worried about her husband.
"Looks like I almost forgot. I'm sorry. Thank you for reminding me though." Hothoof said.
"Let me change my words. I'm so happy that I came back to the factory that I worked in past! I've missed you so much!" Hothoof changed the words that he said.
"Now that's better. Come on, we don't have much time. Let's go find Rainbow Dash. She must be in here somewhere." Windy urged her husband.
Hothoof and Windy walked into the inner of the factory. They were able to see more machines running. Some had rainbow colored liquid flowing in pipes that looked like a tube. Rainbows were made from it.
"Although this factory uses unethical way to make rainbows and control weather, this place is fascinating. I wonder who built this." Hothoof said.
"I agree with you. Somepony who had creativity must have built this factory." Windy said.
"Hold it right there! Talk about your identity and clarify the purpose of your visit right now." Somebody said from the behind.
"Huh? Who said that? That didn't sound like Rainbow Dash." Windy said.
Hothoof and Windy turned back to see who talked to them. An unicorn mare and an earth pony stallion was standing right behind them.
"You must be the mangers of this factory, right? We are the ponies who worked in this factory in the past. We had a really long vacation. And we came back to the Rainbow Factory to work again. We are also here to meet Rainbow Dash. To say honest, we are her parents." Bow Hothoof explained.
The mare and the stallion were extremely shocked. They looked at each other. Probably for some reason.
"Rainbow Factory Dash had parents? I thought that she was parentless." The mare said.
"Me too. Why didn't she tell us about the existence of her parents? I cannot understand that point." The stallion replied to his partner.
"Why is this place noisy?" A third voice said from far behind.
"Who is it this time?" Hothoof asked.
"That sounds like Rainbow Dash! Oh, Rainbow, we have missed you so much. Come and give your mother and father a big hug." Windy said.
Windy thought that the pony of the third voice was Rainbow Dash.
Windy came closer to the pony of the third voice to find out who was it.
"Oh, we can't find out who this pony is. Dear, why are you waiting this thing on your face? Don't you feel hot? Let me take off this thing." Windy grabbed the mask of the pony and tried to take off the mask. However, the pony resisted to put her mask on her face.
"Why won't you show your face? Are you too shy to reveal your face to others?" Hothoof asked in curiosity.
Windy Whistles looked at the masked pony carefully. The masked pony's skin color was bright cyan, and her mane was rainbow colored. The masked pony was obviously a pegasus.
"Wait a minute, this pony has rainbow colored mane and cyan skin. This could mean only one thing. She is Rainbow Dash! We are so happy to see you, Rainbow! We are your parents!" Bow Hothoof said.
The masked pony turned out to be Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash looked at her 'lost' parents for a long time. She had never expected that she would have parents.
The workers who worked for Rainbow Dash, who was the manager, were still extremely shocked. They couldn't believe that they were seeing their manager's parents directly in the eyes.
"I HAD PARENTS?" Rainbow Dash exclaimed in shock. "B, but I thought that I was parentless. Maybe an orphan.." Rainbow Dash panted and breathed heavily.
"Come and give your mother and father a hug, Rainbow." Windy said.
Rainbow Dash shook her head.
"Even though you two are really my parents, I won't return as a member of a family. I have a factory to work in. I don't really care about a parental support or love. I only care about the workers in here and killing ponies to make rainbows!" Rainbow Dash said.
"But, Rainbow, didn't you say once that you wanted to become a Wonderbolt?" Hothoof questioned.
The workers were shocked once again. According to this pegasi stallion, Rainbow Dash wanted to become a member of Wonderbolts in the past.
"What is a Wonderbolt? I don't even know what that is!" Rainbow Dash spat to her parents.
Hothoof and Windy looked at each other. It looked like their daughter completely forgot about everything except the Rainbow Factory.
"Okay, forget about the Wonderbolts. Let's say that we didn't talk about anything about Wonderbolts or whatever. The important thing is, you admit that we are your parents, Rainbow hon?" Windy asked again, this time with more power then before.
"I can't still believe that you are really my true parents. But there is one single way that you could prove yourselves that you are my parents." Rainbow Dash replied.
"How could we prove that we are your parents? We will do anything!" Windy said.
"It's very simple. You just have to literally show an evidence that could pursuade me that you are my real parents!" Rainbow Dash said.
Windy Whistles and Bow Hothoof begun to search for evidence that could prove that they are Rainbow Dash's true parents.
Hothoof found a photo in his pocket. It was the photo of a young filly with her parents. The filly was young Rainbow Dash.
"She grew up so fast." Hothoof said silently to himself.
Hothoof tapped on his wife's shoulder to tell her that he had found a good evidence.
"Honey, I found a family photo. Here is young Rainbow Dash, and this pegasi couple is younger us." Hothoof explained.
Windy gasped in joy. This could be a really good evidence to prove that herself and Hothoof were Rainbow Dash's parents.
"You did it, Hothoof! We will show this to Rainbow." Windy said.
Hothoof passed the photo to the unicorn worker. The unicorn worker then passed the photo to Rainbow Dash.
"So, you're telling me that this is the young me? And this couple must be you two. I see. But this doesn't pursuade me. What if this filly in the photo is an another pony? She could be a pony who is similar to me." Rainbow Dash gave the photo back to her parents.
"Looks like it didn't work. But don't worry. I still have an idea. You know, ourselves could be the proof." Windy said. She still didn't lose hope.
"How?" Hothoof asked Windy in curiosity.
"Hothoof dear, your mane is the same color as Rainbow. And my cyan skin color is the same color as Rainbow. We have physical characteristics that Rainbow has. Not to mention, we are both pegasi." Windy said.
Hothoof clapped his hooves. He never realized that.
"You know, I have never thought about that! What are we waiting for? Call Rainbow Dash!" Hothoof said.
Rainbow Dash came to the front of the pegasi couple. She looked at Hothoof and Windy carefully.
"What can you notice about us, dear? Don't you think that we two have physical characteristics that you bear?" Windy asked.
"I have rainbow colored mane. Windy has cyan skin. So do you. Look at yourself! You would notice it at once!" Hothoof added.
Rainbow Dash touched her mane and looked at her hoof. Yes, she did have rainbow colored mane and she had cyan skin.
"Only that? No more characteristics? Only two?" Rainbow Dash wasn't still convinced.
"Oh oh, she's yet to be convinced." Windy said, worried.
"Sorry dear, we don't have any more evidence to show to you." Hothoof said.
"If we can't prove that we are her true parents, what should we do now? Rainbow would still think that we are random invaders from the outside." Windy said.
"We may as well give up proving that we are parents and just go back home." Hothoof suggested.
"No, I won't do that!" Windy was reluctant to leave.
"But honey, it looks like Rainbow is intentionally pretending as if she doesn't know us at all. Even if we constantly prove, she won't believe us. She won't return as our daughter!" Hothoof said.
"Uh, fine. Let's just go then. Bye, Rainbow. See you later if possible." Windy waved her hoof as a farewell.
Hothoof and Windy flew to the outside of the Rainbow Factory. They left the factory.
"You know what, dear?" Windy asked her husband.
"What? Is there something that you want to tell me?" Hothoof replied.
"If Rainbow's memory about us returns, we could bring her back home and reunite as a family. Nothing is forever. Maybe someday in the future, Rainbow's memories would come back, and she would become our girl back again. I hope that she would." Windy said.
Hothoof nodded. Hothoof flew back to his home. Windy followed after him.

This is my second story in Fimfiction! The story may be quite short, but I guess that it is new and creative. You may have noticed, but the origin of this story is written in the long description. A Parental Visit is a spinoff fanfic of the famous fanfic Rainbow Factory, which is written by Aurora Dawn. I am expecting that you would at least have heard of it if you know much about MLP creepypastas and grimdarks!
Bow Hothoof and Windy Whistles are the main characters of this fanfic. They visit the Rainbow Factory and meet their daughter Rainbow Dash, but things didn't turn out as expected. I think that imagining that Rainbow Factory Dash might have hidden parents is sort of an out-of-the-box thinking! Currently, there isn't a fanfic about the parents of RFD. Please inform me if I am the first to write a fanfic about RFD's parents. I won't be upset even if I am not the first! I am happy to write a story about Rainbow Factory Dash's parents.
