a helping hand

Fluttershy led me into the animal shelter, where homeless animals lived.

“So this is the animal shelter,” explained Fluttershy. “Our friends brought their pets from here, you know. You can call up the shelter and tell them there’s an abandoned animal on the street. Do you wanna work with me? We need more volenteers to look after them.”

I smiled. “That sounds... nice.” I said. “I’ll help.”

Fluttershy grinned at me. “Thanks.” she said. “They really appreciate it.”
