Chapters Prelude: Future War (Rewritten)
The Sun was bright in the late spring sky, hanging above at an angle. Fillies around Ponyville had been planning an event for weeks, and now the day of the event has arrived. The last day of school was finished, and the Cutie Mark Crusaders were excited.
“Are you ready for this Zerf war girls? Because I am!” An excited Applebloom shouted out, grabbing her large Zerf brand rifle. “This is gonna be so fun!”
Scootaloo’s smile was wide while she was sliding a foam dart into her small, clear bootleg hoofgun. “Of course it’s gonna be fun, Applebloom! We’ve been planning this for weeks!”
Sweetie Belle nodded while putting darts in her saddlebag. “We’re gonna steal the flag and win!” She announced loudly, her voice cracking on the final word. The unicorn levitated her poorly painted Zerf crossbow, the colors matching her mane. She admired the crossbow before putting it back in her saddlebag.
“Are we all ready to go?” Scootaloo asked, Gaining nods from the other two fillies. With that, they stood up and walked out of their clubhouse, leaving it a mess as usual.
When the fillies reached Ponyville park, they saw 15 of their classmates standing around waiting for the event to begin. After greeting some of them, Silver Spoon passed them each a slip of paper.
“Awesome! We all got blue!” The trio shouted excitedly. “Who else has blue!” Applebloom shouted, gaining a few words in response from some others while they shuffled over to where the Crusaders were standing. The red team huddled together to a tent set up on the other side of the park.
The blue team huddled together at their tent, the Sun casting beams through the leaves of the trees. The 9 children that the blue team consisted of were the crusaders, Featherweight, Button Mash, Twist, Aura, Cotton Cloudy, and Pipsqueak.
“Alright, Who’s in charge?” Button Mash asked, looking around.
“Well, who has the best grades?” Cotton Cloudy asked in response.
“I’m sorry Twist, but I’m not being led by you.” Aura stated
“I understand,” Twist said, sounding defeated.
“What about the crusaders?” Pipsqueak suggested, receiving nods of approval from everypony except the crusaders and Twist, who was too upset to respond.
“Us it is then.” Sweetie Belle stated. She looked over her team one last time before speaking. “We split into two teams.”
Ponyville was cold, dark, and in ruins. Huddled around a table in the remnants of town hall were the heads of the Resistance’s B team. Scootaloo, Applebloom, and Sweetie Belle were 64 years old and 3 of the 6 head commanders of the resistance. Next to them were the Father-Daughter Subcommander Duo of Stormbolt, the 45-year-old grey and yellow pegasus analyzing the map on the table, and Rising Flame, the 26-year-old orange, blue, and yellow unicorn that founded the Resistance all those years ago.
The sound of an HK-Aerial flying past downrange silenced the ponies around the table for a moment before Sweetie Belle continued the mission rundown.
“We split into two teams, B-A, and B-B. You Subcommanders lead B-A, and we will lead B-B.” Sweetie Belle put a cartridge in her plasma rifle. “B-A will storm the Canterhole from the front, while B-B will go in through the back. We believe that this facility is a research center, so expect weird machines, Skynet’s been using all of its resources after we blasted their main factory.”
“The plan sounds solid,” Rising Flame put her hoof on the map. “But with the number of troops we have, we wouldn’t be able to hold them off for more than 150 minutes.”
“You have to remember,” Applebloom adjusted her boots. “We are doing this at the same time that Team A is assaulting Skynet’s core at Las Pegasus. We are the sideshow.”
Rising Flame nodded, looking out the window. Once long ago, there was a mountain there, Canterlot hanging off the side. But these days, all that was there was a dug-out hole in the ground, with a Skynet Facility in the center.
“Alright, You get the plan?” Sweetie Belle asked, gaining nods from everycreature in the room. Troops started walking out of the room when Sweetie Belle looked at Stormbolt. “Good luck pal.”
B-B was sneaking through the dark ruins of Canterlot weaving around skeletons of ponies. Laser bolts could be heard in the distance, signaling that B-A had started their attack on the Canterhole. Commander Sweetie Belle held up her plasma rifle, turning a corner.
Sweetie Belle turned a corner around a tree when Featherweight stepped on a stick. The 4 other members of Blue 2 turned around and stared at Featherweight, who chuckled quietly. The team finally reached the back of the red team’s tent. Scootaloo snuck into the tent first, seeing Snips standing at guard. Scootaloo shot a dart into his back before grabbing the flag.
“C’mon guys! I got it!” Scootaloo shouted before darting around the field, Applebloom acting as support for her.
Scootaloo was nearly at the blue tent when she stumbled on her hooves.
Scootaloo was near to the Canterhole when she stumbled on her hooves, righting herself before she hit the ground. She ignored the pain in her hoof before catching up to the rest of the team. Applebloom placed explosive charges on a rear entrance to the facility before darting down into a hole. The door flew off of its hinges, allowing the Resistance forces to enter the facility.
The air in the facility was sterile and cold, causing Applebloom’s fur to rise on her neck. The turrets that hung off the ceiling down the hall whirred when they turned towards the entering Resistance. Before they could shoot, however, they were shot down by a Resistance soldier.
The troops split up throughout the facility, searching for anything important. While searching, Scootaloo came across a room marked ‘1000 holding chamber’.
“Hey Girls! What’s in here?” Scootaloo asked, opening the door with her plasma rifle held forward. Inside the room was a large central tank with a metallic liquid, surrounded by 8 tanks. 5 of them were marked 1000, with one of them empty. Another tank was marked 1001 which was empty, the next, 1002, had the liquid in it, and 1003, which, like 1001, was empty.
Scootaloo decided that this room wasn't worth her time, so she left. She joined back up with the other two commanders and walked down the hall.
The trio were silently walking down the hall when Applebloom noticed a Fleshed T-800 flanked by 2 other T-800’s running towards a room in the center. The trio began to chase the machines when the two guards turned around. Before they could do anything, the guards were shot by Applebloom. The red-furred T-800 entered the large circular room, the crusaders following.
In the center of the room were 3 large concentric rings spinning around each other, slowing to a stop. The T-800 stood in the middle of the rings, before they began to spin faster and faster, blue lightning striking the machine, before it erupted into a sphere of light. When the light dissipated, the stallion was gone.
“What the buck?!”
Author's Note
Wasn’t happy with all I revealed during this, So I rewrote it. I intend to rewrite the other chapters as well.
"So girls, now that school's out for the summer, What's ya'll wanna do first?" Applebloom asked, walking down Ponyville's central path beside Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, Diamond Tiara, and Silver Spoon.
"I'm not sure? There's a lot I want to get done this summer and I just don't know where to start," Sweetie Belle replied with an unsure tone of voice. The five fillies trotted through Ponyville, waving at everyone they saw.
"Ooh, Ooh! I have an idea!" Applebloom cheered out. "Let's go to Sugarcube Corner and drink some milkshakes!" The other girls nodded in agreement, running towards the rather delicious-looking structure. Once the girls were in the building and enjoying their milkshakes, (Bits provided by Diamond Tiara, of course) they began talking about how hard it is to do long division without a calculator.
Meanwhile; Cutie Mark Crusader Clubhouse, Sweet Apple Acres
The air surrounding the clubhouse was clean and refreshing as the sun began its descent below the horizon. The birds nesting in the late spring apple trees cooing to their recently hatched hatchlings. The scene was serene, to say the least.
In an instant, electrical bolts shot out from seemingly nowhere, the air smelled like ozone, the birds flew away. At the epicenter of the bolts, a large glowing blue sphere expanded out of thin air, vaporizing a section of a tree trunk. after a second, the sphere shrunk into itself, leaving behind a small crater, and three full-grown mares.
The mares lifted themselves, groaning at every muscle movement. One of the mares, a white unicorn with a pink and purple mane, rose first. Next, a yellow earth pony with a red mane lifted herself off the ground with ease. Finally, an orange pegasus with tiny wings and a purple mane lifted herself off the ground. The mares' breathing was labored as they looked around.
"It actually worked!" The pegasus announced. The others looked at the clubhouse in the center of the clearing.
"Look, It's our old clubhouse!" The earth pony said, running up to it before being stopped.
"Both of you, wait a minute. We are not here on a nostalgia trip, we are here to ensure the success of the Resistance in the future," The unicorn stated. The other two mares looked at the mare, only just now realizing the number of scars on her body. There was the obvious scar that ran diagonally across her face, but there were also several scars on her left shoulder reaching down to her hoof.
They also gazed at the barcode tattooed on her front-right hoof. They all had a barcode on their leg, given to them while in Skynet labor camps.
The three mares did a quick sweep around the clubhouse to confirm that no pony was around. They walked up the steps into the clubhouse and looked around.
"There is nothing of value here for us," the adult Sweetie Belle spoke, almost disappointed. "Split up, and find objects of value."
"You do realize that it isn't after Judgement Day? You can't just go around stealing ponies' things!" Scootaloo responded.
"Well, it may be stealin', but it's for the greater good," Applebloom shot in. The three glared at each other while walking out of the clubhouse, before running in separate directions.
Meanwhile; Ponyville Backalleys
The air in this back alley was dusty and disgusting, the alley itself filled with debris and garbage. Another ball of concentrated blue light appeared again, smaller this time.
In the bottom of the small crater, a single red, muscular earth pony stallion with a black mane kneeled. He slowly rose out of the hole and began wandering towards the streets. Night has fallen over Ponyville as the stallion approached the town park. Three teenage colts, one unicorn, and two Earth ponies were in the park attempting to stargaze.
“Alright bro, Hoof the buckin’ bag over,” The unicorn said to one of the Earth ponies, wanting some chips.
“Chill out, I just got the bag.” The Earth pony replied, blatantly lying.
“Make me chill out,” The unicorn replied, in annoyance. The scene was about to devolve into a fight when the other Earth pony noticed somepony walking out of the alley.
“Hey colts, look at that guy over there!” The Earth pony announced, getting the attention of his two friends., and the mysterious stallion. The stallion stared at the three colts, before approaching.
“Look at this guy, He’s obviously one of those types.” The unicorn quipped.
“I bet he can’t even count to three!” The Earth pony with the chips added.
“I bet he can’t even count to three.” The large stallion replied in a monotone voice.
“Look at Mr.Parrot here, I bet you’re easy to rob!” The other Earth pony joked.
“Look at Mr.Parrot here.” The stallion replied.
The three colts burst into laugher at the muscular stallion. The stallion eyed the saddlebags of the colts.
“Give me your knives,” The red stallion stated. The colts quickly grabbed their knives.
“Buck you, loser!” The unicorn shouted, stabbing the stallion. The stallion did not stand down when stabbed, and swung his hoof into the face of one of the Earth ponies, breaking his jaw and flinging him back. The stallion proceeded to grab the neck of the other Earth pony, repeatedly slamming into the ground.
The unicorn shuddered while slowly moving backward when the stallion turned to him.
“Don’t bucking hurt me, bro!” The scared colt yelled while levitating his knife towards the stallion. The stallion slowly walked up to the colt, before punching his hoof through the colt’s chest. The colt fell over dead as the stallion picked up the knife.
Meanwhile; Two blocks away from the park
Commander Sweetie Belle snuck through the Ponyville streets under the moonlight, looking for unlocked doors. She was skilled at this, to say the least. The middle-aged mare continued her search until she saw an all too familiar building. Her sister’s shop and home, Carousel Boutique.
Bingo. Sweetie Belle thought to herself as she ran up to the shop. She lifted the doormat, revealing the spare keys.
The commander looked through the window, confirming the presence of a bell above the door. She focused on holding the bell still while opening the door a crack.
Now inside the Boutique, Sweetie Belle looked around. Creeping towards the back, she found outfits from Rarity’s newest line, ‘Summer Rangers’. The outfits reminded the mare of the uniforms of the Resistance. She grabbed three of the tough, camo uniforms, and the saddlebags that came with them. She put on one and put the other two in the bags.
She crept into the bathroom next, stealing the contents of the first-aid kit under the sink, along with some unopened toothbrushes and a tube of toothpaste. Sweetie Belle froze when she heard hoofsteps from down the hall.
“Rarity? Is that you?” A young, pure voice mumbled. Sweetie Belle recognized that voice. She was hearing herself.
The Adult Sweetie Belle quietly hopped into the bathtub and slid the curtain shut right as the door opened. A groggy, foal Sweetie Belle stumbled into the room, looked around for a few seconds, mumbled to herself, and left the room. The commander held her breath while her younger self walked out. She waited in the tub for around 10 minutes, before quietly stepping out.
Commander Belle reached the stairs that led to Rarity’s room. She quietly trotted the stairs, careful not to make a sound. At the top of the stairs was Rarity, sleeping in her bed. Sweetie Belle looked at her sister with tears in her eyes. She softly crawled under Rarity’s bed, finding her ‘Book of Ideas’ and a quill. On the first empty page, Sweetie Belle drew her cutie mark, the Resistance’s logo, and ‘I missed you.
The mare crawled out from under the bed and found herself looking for items of value to the mission. While looking through her desk, she found something she needed. Rarity’s secret bottle of Hard Cider. Sweetie Belle quickly tossed the bottle into her saddlebag, accidentally causing it to hit the first-aid kit in the bag.
Rarity shot up at the sound, her sleep mask preventing her from seeing the mare in her room. Sweetie Belle quickly fashioned a small roll of fabric into a mask. Rarity ripped off her mask, Seeing the masked figure.
“Theif! ” Rarity shrieked. Sweetie Belle ran down the stairs, Rarity chased while shouting at her. Sweetie Belle quickly ran to the nearest display window and jumped straight through it, running quickly towards Sweet Apple Acres, unaware of the red stallion hiding in the alley, just a block away from her.
Chapter Two: Problems in Ponyville
Crusader Clubhouse; Ponyville
Commander Scootaloo sat in silence, Choosing not to steal anything except a few apples from the ground. She stood up and began walking in circles out of boredom, reciting codewords with every hoof step. She breathed a sigh of relief when Applebloom opened the door to the clubhouse. She then noticed what she was holding.
“Applebloom,” Scootaloo said in confusion.
“Yeah Scoots?” The Earth mare replied.
“What do you have there?” Scootaloo asked while pointing to the shotgun held in the other commander’s hoof.
“An apple,” The mare replied, holding up an apple in the other hoof.
“The other hoof, Applebloom.” The pegasus stated.
“Big Mac’s shotgun,” Applebloom replied, holding the firearm in a firing position.
Scootaloo stared at Applebloom in confusion when the door was slammed open. Scootaloo jumped while Applebloom aimed the gun at Sweetie Belle, who had just opened the door. Sweetie Belle glanced at the mares before tossing them each a saddlebag.
“Put on the uniforms in the bag, we’re getting out of here.” Sweetie Belle said in her usual, hard tone.
“What did you do this time?” Scootaloo sternly asked in concern.
“Nearly got caught by Rarity. She knows where I went, we need to move.” Sweetie Belle responded.
“Why don’t we jus’ stay in the trees?” Applebloom suggested while putting on the camo uniform.
Sweetie Belle nodded in approval, running out of the clubhouse and climbing into the tree it was built on. The other two followed, ready to take turns sleeping.
Late Morning, Ponyville Park
The royal guard swarmed on the park the moment three bodies and two robberies were reported to the authorities. Along with the guard, two crying mares and a stallion with a look of disappointment on his face were at the scene. At the edge of the park, five fillies, and a mare stood. The mare, Rarity, was speaking to an investigator while the fillies looked into the park. One of the fillies, Diamond Tiara began to walk away.
“Where are you going?” a young Sweetie Belle asked.
“I don’t want to see this girls, sorry.” Diamond Tiara replied, getting understanding nods from the other fillies.
Diamond Tiara was well on her way home when she heard a sound in an alley. She peered into the alley before shaking her head and continuing her walk. In the alley, the red stallion stared at the filly. He knew who she was, Commander Diamond Tiara of the 4th Division. The stallion walked out of the alley, tailing Diamond Tiara, waiting for the perfect moment.
Diamond Tiara turned a corner when she felt a sharp tug on her tail. She shouted while being picked up and thrown by the red, muscular stallion. She hit a wall and attempted to run, screaming the entire time. The stallion recognized the amount of sound they were making. He decided to slip back into the darkness of the alley, leaving an injured Diamond Tiara on the ground. She ran as fast as her injured body would let her back to the park.
The crusaders were talking to a counselor about what they thought about the tragedy in the park when Diamond Tiara ran into view, screaming something about being attacked by a stallion. The counselor ran over to Diamond Tiara while the crusaders looked on in shock. After some discussion, the counselor called over some guards who quickly began running to where Diamond Tiara had been.
“I think I’ll take you girls to Sweet Apple Acres for now,” Rarity said with a concerned look on her face. She could tell that the crusaders were scared. The girls nodded and followed Rarity away from the park.
Midday, Sweet Apple Acres
The three soldiers watched the farm around the tree when three fillies approached the clubhouse. The fillies were easily recognizable by the trio, their younger selves walked into the clubhouse sullenly.
“Do you think Diamond Tiara gonna be alright?” Young Scootaloo asked.
“Of course ah do! Why wouldn’t you?” A youthful Applebloom replied in a louder tone than she intended.
Sweetie Belle just sat still, wondering why a stallion would attack a filly. She levitated an apple in front of her face and crushed it with her magic.
“We need to find that stallion,” filly Sweetie Belle spoke, almost sounding like her older counterpart. The other two fillies were surprised by her tone. Scootaloo was almost scared by how serious she sounded. “Attacking fillies isn’t right, we need to show him that you can’t just attack a filly without conciquences!” the young foal nearly exploded in anger.
“Sweetie Belle, that’s not the best idea-” Scootaloo tried to say.
“I don’t care!” Sweetie Belle shouted at Scootaloo. Scootaloo and Applebloom stepped back a step, shocked by her words. Sweetie Belle breathed a raspy breath. “No, you’re right, it’s stupid.” She said in a softer tone, sitting in a corner of the clubhouse.
Things stayed this way for a couple of minutes when Applejack opened the door to the clubhouse.
“Alright girls, Rarity, Scootaloo’s aunts, and I have come to a decision. Y'all are gonna go stay with Babs in Manehattan for a while.” Applejack announced to the fillies. “Y’all don’t need to pack, we already did that for ya.” The older mare said while handing each filly a train ticket. Applebloom and Scootaloo were excited to hear this news, while Sweetie Belle quietly grabbed the ticket and her bag.
In the tree, the commanders had heard everything. Sweetie Belle silently thinking while the other two mares quietly discussed their new predicament.
“How the buck are we gonna get all the way to Manehattan?” Applebloom asked.
“We buy train tickets.” Sweetie Belle stated with slight annoyance.
“But what about all the checks we have to go through, we don’t even have I.D.s-” Scootaloo replied before being interrupted.
“There are no checks, we are pre-4/16. All we have to do is pay for the tickets, Dumbass.” Sweetie Belle responded.
The pegasus was quiet for a second before nodding. The three mares looked through the trees, seeing Applejack escort the fillies out of the farm.
Early Afternoon, Ponyville Train station.
The commanders watched from the edge of the station as the three fillies boarded the train while Applejack left the station. A disguised Applebloom walked up to the ticket stand.
“Good afternoon ma’am, where do you need to go?” the colt working the stand asked in a boring monotone voice.
“I need three tickets to Manehattan,” Applebloom answered, anxiously dreading being searched.
“That will be 15 bits,” the stallion stated. Applebloom stood there for a second before sliding over the bits and receiving the tickets. Applebloom gave the tickets to her fellow commanders while boarding the train. Their seat was conveniently behind the seat of the crusaders.
At the edge of the station, the red stallion approached the ticket stand, nopony around to see him.
“Manehattan.” The stallion said to the colt.
“5 bits sir.” The young stallion responded.
The muscular stallion punched through the window of the stand, punching the colt. While the colt was unconscious, the stallion grabbed a ticket marked for Manehattan and boarded the train, one car behind his targets.
Night, Manehattan
Nothing of note had happened on the train ride. The crusaders had met up with Babs and went into her apartment. The trio of commanders stationed themselves on top of an under-construction skyscraper. Scootaloo filed her hooves, Applebloom cleaned Big Mac’s shotgun, and Sweetie Belle stared towards the apartment building the crusaders were sleeping in. Sweetie Belle hated missions like this.
“Applebloom, If a squad took out an HK-Aerial, and a T-400 began shooting at them, what would the B code be?” Quizzed Sweetie Belle.
“HK4S.” Applebloom quickly responded.
“Wrong. HKS4,” Sweetie Belle corrected.
Sweetie Belle looked over the nighttime cityscape, admiring the city’s beauty while taking a sip of Rarity’s ‘Secret Cider’.
Morning, Babs’ Apartment
The Cutie Mark Crusaders were bored. They weren't the type of pony to sit in an apartment all day playing board games. Scootaloo was getting antsy, tapping her hoof on the floor in boredom.
“Hey Babs, do you think we could go out and do something?” Scootaloo asked Babs.
“We could go out and grab some breakfast,” Babs suggested, gaining the approval of the three fillies. “I know the best place!” The four fillies were ready to be out in the city, unknowingly being followed.
“Here we are!” Babs Seed announced to the Crusaders, quickly glancing at three mares obscured by their clothing.
“Babs, This is a coffee shop in a subway station,” Applebloom stated.
“I know! Isn’t it great?” The earth pony replied excitedly.
“Yeah, whatever, let’s just eat,” Sweetie Belle said.
Babs ordered four glasses of water and a box of donuts for the group. Meanwhile, a few tables away from them, the commanders sat, watching the crowd. Applebloom looked around diligently. Her eyes settled on a single stallion sitting on a bench.
“Girls, that’s a 101,” Applebloom said while nudging Sweetie Belle. Sweetie Belle quickly noticed but stayed still.
“Wait until it does something,” Sweetie Belle said quietly.
The stallion glared at the Crusaders while leaving the bench. He walked towards them with heavy steps, attempting to strike from behind. The Resistance soldiers shot up from their seats, moving to tactical positions. The Stallion was a few feet behind the crusaders when Babs noticed him.
“Can we help you?” Babs skeptically asked the stallion, gaining no response. The crusaders turned around right when the stallion pulled out a knife.
A loud blast could be heard as Applebloom quickly shot the stallion, his massive weight holding him upright. The four fillies were shocked when one of the disguised mares ran up to the stallion and hit him with a chair.
“Run!” One of the disguised mares, a unicorn shouted at the fillies. The four jumped out of their seats running to the exit, when another disguised mare, a pegasus, ran with them.
“Follow me!” The mare said while running ahead of the fillies. Back at the coffee shop, Applebloom pounded two more shots into the stallion before running off to rejoin Scootaloo. Sweetie Belle continued to throw chairs at the machine while retreating.
The Resistance soldiers jumped the subway gates pulling the fillies with them, Quickly running into the back of the subway. Sweetie Belle looked up at the masked unicorn who was using hoof signals to communicate with her partners. The unicorn then looked down at the crusaders.
“We are the commanders of Tech-Com unit 1CMC12,” The unicorn mare introduced.
“You have been targeted for termination by Skynet,” The pegasus mare continued.
“We have assigned ourselves to protect you,” The Earth pony finished.
“Why are we bein’ ‘Targeted for Termination?’” Applebloom asked the mares, performing air quotes.
“And what’s Skynet?” Scootaloo asked.
“I think it’s that computer thingy they're working on in Canterlot,” Sweetie Belle answered. The unicorn mare quickly communicated with her party after hearing that news.
“They’re working on Skynet now?” the unicorn asked in confusion.
“Well yeah, Mah sis says that it’ll save a lotta lives-” Applebloom tried to say before being cut off by the laughter of the pegasus mare. The fillies looked at her in confusion, the earth pony slapped her hoof on her face, and the unicorn turned away.
“Why are you laughing?” Babs asked.
“Because she is completely wrong!” the pegasus stated.
“The kid doesn’t even know about Judgement Day, leave her alone,” The unicorn said.
“Judgement Day?” all four fillies asked.
“It happens about four years from now,” The unicorn stated with slight anger in her voice. “Skynet decides that ponies aren’t good enough, and blows us up,” she continued.
“And what does that have to do with that stallion?” Sweetie Belle inquired.
“Not stallion, you can forget that. Machine.” The unicorn said with scorn.
“Machine?” The fillies said in shock and confusion.
“T-800. Advanced combat chassis. Of course, you couldn’t see it under the skin,” The Earth pony mare continued.
“It’s covered in flesh, it can bleed, sweat, even have body odor.” The pegasus finished.
“But they can’t build things like that yet!” Applebloom stated.
“You’re right, not yet. In around 30 years,” The unicorn stated in annoyance.
“Are you saying it’s from the future?” Scootaloo asked.
“Yes, it is,” the unicorn replied.
“So that means you’re from the future too, correct?” Sweetie Belle shot back.
“Correct-” The mare said, before grabbing Sweetie Belle’s tail as she tried to run.
“Let go of me!” The frightened filly shouted. The unicorn looked at the other two mares, who proceeded to nod. The mare let go of the filly as she ran to her friends.
“Listen, kids, we can prove we are from the future,” The pegasus said calmly.
“How ya gonna do that? Show us a future gun- “ Applebloom said when the mare took off her mask. Sweetie Bell’s eyes shot open while Scootaloo leaned forward with an amazed look on her face.
“Wait! That means you’re me!” Scootaloo shouted while pointing at the pegasus. All she got in return was a nod. Applebloom looked at the earth pony.
“Don’t even buckin’ ask, kay?” The earth pony said while looking at her past self.
“We need to get out of Manehattan,” Adult Sweetie Belle said while putting her mask back on. The other two mares nodded “Execpt you Babs, you aren’t going to be killed by the machine.”
“Why?” Babs asked in response. Adult Sweetie Belle looked at the young filly.
“Because you die on Judgement Day,” Sweetie Belle said while walking out of the door of the subway.
