eldritch mountain: fluttershy
I have been wondering where we came from, where magic came from. And it was maddening. the most forgiving thing in the world, I think, was the inability for a pony mind to correlate the contents from beyond the stars. even if we do so beyond the senses we possess, it will be inevitable to turn back from memory, we either go mad by the revelation or stay in our ignorance leaving behind the leftover knowledge which can be the bane of all who seek and thirst for. but the memory of what I uncovered does not simply dislodge from my mind.
The call... The end of all of it lingers below our ground, under the ocean blue, and how we came to be. Things that I see, and things that I should have seen, which I just wish that I didn't, is how it... Or... SHE came back.
And she is one of them. I have no idea that the investigations of where pinkie pie could be, would cost the lives of my friends in a search for her, and I, twilight and spike are the only ponies left. But now that she awakened earlier than the other monstrosities I gathered the evidence of. Including the haunted cabin with starlight's journal on the floor, and it described where pinkie pie is and who she truly was.
It was driving me insane after seeing pinkie again, after what she really is, why she has her pinkie senses, and how nightmares foretold in the days of old, like the time during the founding of equestria.
I am lost in a forest, writing everything down to tell all of you... No... Warn all of you, do not wake them up! Whether you study the occult or not, do not wake them up! My name is Fluttershy, and this will be my final testimony to all of Equestria. I don't know what fate I would meet, will I die, escape, or will I go into a mental hospital after what I just witnessed? I have criticized pinkie pie over the yovidaphone, it broke her, and look at what it leads her into.
If any of you were reading this, If you were curious to know what happened to me, I will tell you what had happened. This is my story.
It started when I was investigating where pinkie pie had gone. And where do I think she could have gone into, I went into the town of willow's creak, and I looked into an abandoned mountain, where it was said that ponies attempt to make a tunnel through a mountain, but it backfired, not by its collapse, but because it was haunted by supernatural forces that nopony was able to see, nor if they did see can identify it. And it was said that there was a temple at the top of that mountain. I was going to the mountain into the tunnel to figure out what was going on.
Everypony warned me not To go to the mountain, because ponies went into that mountain, even foals and none of them returned, they were believed to be dead. But I told them that that mountain had something to do with pinkie pie and that I had to find her. And the only evidence they had with that warning is that they dreamed of a temple with the interior made from nothing but bone, mostly of creatures beyond our comprehension, along with what they said Tobe a monster living in that temple, with the Swahili words, "Yarlgoth yeye anayeita kati ya Nyota. Yarlgoth!" In whatever language, they didn't know. I thought they were going insane, so I persued on anyways.
they warned me but lets me go anyways. It was a long way to that mountain when I walked t that mountain, I took the train to a town where that mountain was located. I made it to the town and I rested in one of the motels where I can see the mountain in a forest. As I was trying to sleep, I heard tapping on the window on the left side of the bed, the tapping is not like the light tap like a tree branch, but it was a hoof tapping on the window. I felt that someone was stalking me, my heart raced to hear that tapping. I kept hearing it until I was at the edge of my rope. I slowly turned my head, nopony was there, and there were no trees next to my window. And it was all silent.
I was scared but confused. I was wondering who was tapping on my window, I could not get over this, I looked at the window, nopony was there, and I could have sworn that I heard a voice from far away I a disembodied voice, speaking in an alien tongue, I can bearly hear that thing, nor do I understand what it was saying. after all the paranoia I fell asleep after that and I had a bad dream, I dreamed that I was floating in mid-air right in front of a large stone gate that was alienating to me, it had a symbol that was something from the occult, it appeared to be the chaos symbol with eight errors pointing outward with alienating language.
The symbol glowed and the gate opened up to reveal a pitch-black room that neither my eyes can see, and I saw the pony I have been looking for, pinkie pie walking out of the shadows, she looks just as grey and her coat, mane and tail were as straight as before. She appeared to be walking on the platform of where the gate is. she spoke to me, but she didn't look at me while doing so.
"It's time Fluttershy," she spoke.
"P... Pinkie, we... We are so sorry, we-"
She grinned evilly when she opened her eyes to look at me, her eyes had pupils all over her eyeballs, in an insane tint, as they glowed. She continued.

everything I write about what she said is causing my writings about her appeared to be scribbled up, if it was me, then I apologized for the scribbled text, My mind could not fathom the description of that thing, but I don't know what causes the scribbles in my writings, could it be my instincts telling me to scribble them out, paranormal forces scribbling it al down the description I wrote, or was going insane? any time I wrote it down, these scribbles you see appear. you can at least see what I wrote down even when all scribbled up because I have. I must finish up my writing, I didn't have enough time to explain in further detail.
She vanished in thin air as when I saw pink feelers slithering, wrapping all over the doors of the gate, the creature's eyes opened up to be the same eyes as before. The monster grinned as millions of more eyes looked at me all over its body. I cannot see its true form, but it looked like a pony, and it was fifteen feet tall. I cannot see its true appearance in the dark, but it was horrifying to look upon, I was frozen in fear, my heart begins to pump even faster as I started shaking in terror. One of the tendrils was about to grab me in supernatural speed, and I had awoken in a shriek. I jumped out of the bed and I saw the eyes in my dream behind the bushes, it stared at me like a tiger ready to pounce, but then it disappears into the woods. I tree woods shaking as if something was moving them out of the was, and it heads to the mountain that I needed to go. I didn't know what I saw in the woods, and It boggles my mind to see how the creature from before could be real, it frightens me regardless. I went to sleep anyways, and I slept well.
it was morning. I was curious to see inside the mountain, I told the owner why I was here, and the reason why I was going to the mountain. The owner told me the history behind their warning and the real reason why the digging under a mountain didn't work. Apparently, there was something under a mountain already built. And it was the ancient catacombs that were alienating for ponies to behold. The structure of the catacombs interior was made from bones of different creatures ages past, including ponies.
My eyes widened in shock over what I just realized. The dreams village had, and the dreams that I had. Were all real. And what was inside the temple had something to do with pinkie pie.
She had the looks of trams in her eyes, and told me about supernatural events that cause most disappearances of the ponies of this town who entered the mountain, so that whoever entered the mountain either never returned or be either driven insane or to be hunted down by that supernatural entity. she knew this because she was the head of workers who dug under the mountain. she stayed behind while her brave workers do the work because she had a bad feeling about the mountain, she gave them guns for self-defence and they never questioned it. one of them spoke to her on a walky-talky that they found the catacombs and they were amazed and yet disgusted by the sight to behold, and on the way she heard them screaming, guns firing, and even one trying to tell her not to go there, and then, there was silence, and what she can describe it as eldritch footsteps. she mourned for them, and she even sobbed for their loss.
I felt sorry for her, and I was hesitant to go to the mountain, but for the sake of harmony, I have to go there, to find pinkie pie. she warned me that if I go into the mountain, I might not return, I heed her warnings, but for reasons of concern for the element of laughter that went missing, I have to look inside that temple if I were to find evidence of where pinkie had gone to.
I started walking through the forest to the mountain far from the town, and from what I can nearly see in the mountain, was some kind of temple alien to behold. It is not of any pony culture nor was it from anything I can recall. As I walked into the forest, I noticed a dead dear on my way to the temple. The dear's corpse had appeared to have been chomped from its abdomen, and its head was missing, what is worse is that it had pink slime oozing out of its body, the slime looked deadly to behold, and I tried to avoid it as best as I could. I was shocked and also frightened to discover its death and to not know what had killed it. I trotted forward to the mountain and I saw what appeared to be pentagrams on the stump of the trees. each one glowed pink, giving me a creepy feeling.
Despite my fear, I kept walking my way to the mountain, and my way to the mountain took me about thirty minutes than I was expecting, when I made it to the mountain, there was a tunnel that what he mentioned before, was dug up under the mountain. And the hole of the cave was left open, when I looked at the hole, I had the strange feeling that something was waiting for me in that mountain.
I grabbed the lantern next to the cave, lighted it up and walked inside the tunnel. While I was walking through, I was stepping on bones and carcasses of dead ponies, and it sickens me to do so. There were even writings all over the tunnel that said "go back," "run away," "do not enter" and "get out if you can."
The tunnel was a long way through until I went inside what appears to be the catacombs made from the bones of the recently deceased. The catacombs were all either decorated or were built in the bones of ponies and other creatures of Equestria like what it was described earlier, it is just like what he said, that there was an interior of those catacombs. I explored those catacombs and noticed ancient artifacts that looked alien to me, however, one of the rooms of those catacombs was a place of worship to some god, and the idol looked eldrich, and it was as about resembles that of a pony, with eyes all over its body, and its hair is a mass of tentacles and tendrils with its front hooves were even larger tentacles, and it apparently wears armour as if it was the outer shell of the deity. it scares me even more to see the weapons and the gear of the miners. now I knew what had happened to them, I don't believe I can go any further, but I must go.
I explored the catacombs until I heard somepony or something laughing. and it was nowhere to be found, but I still feel the presents of some supernatural creature is in the same location I'm in, this was not what I thought was going to work out, I don't know what horrors await me, it is not in the same floor I was in right now, but it's still here, watching my every move.
I explored more of the catacombs, and I noticed most rooms are the same places of worship, while some of the rooms are old libraries of Equestria's history, even butcher rooms where seemingly ponies cut meat to feast upon, which is strange because we ponies of Equestria don't eat meat, we mostly eat apples, hey, and other plants we eat, and maybe we eat candy and sweets. but this is just strange that the ponies of these ancient catacombs would have such a diet. I would theorize that these ponies probably did not have the available foot at the time and that they have no choice but they either eat themselves alive or eat meat from other creatures like deer, and other animals.
I did not pay attention to the butcher room and continued my exploration. I walked down the stairs deeper and deeper, finding what appear to be, some grave rooms where they keep their corpses in coffins made from either bone or ivory. inside these coffins were corpses filled with the same pink slime that I have seen from the deer two hours ago. I grabbed a wooden stick left on the floor of the grave room, and touch the slime with it, and it appeared to be corrosive to the glutinous touch, except it does not eat away bone. I gagged trying to hold back my vomit to this disgusting sight to behold.
I kept walking down the stairs until I stepped on something that almost made me slip and fall down the stairs, it was a journal from one of the residents of the town. I read it and it was one of the miners back when they were digging the tunnel under a mountain, a mare named Diggy holes. Diggy wrote everything she had seen down about these catacombs until I had read something she had written down, a warning perhaps, but it is to anypony who is reading her journal, I read what she said.
"to anypony who is reading this, I may not survive the horrors of this place, but this place is not meant for anypony to see! while I was digging down the tunnel along with everypony under the mountain, we have summoned something in the catacombs without even noticing it, it was something supernatural, and it... no... she had killed everypony who dug under the mountain! she giggled and laughed maniacally and this place is not safe. she is coming, she who calls among the stars! I know she is coming, leave this place! leave and never turn back, it was trying to gain enough mana to awaken the end of Equestria, leave! from yarlgoth, I have seen her and it drove me insane! she who calls among the stars! Yarlgoth! Yarlgoth! Yarlgoth!"
my body shakes after I read her journal, the mare who was killed in those catacombs, this same supernatural presence that I felt had killed and in her madness, wrote yarlgoth all over the rest of her journal. I didn't know what drove her insane, could it be stress? solitude? mental torture? whatever had happened to her, I feel bad for her. she was killed by some supernatural creature, and I hope she rests in peace.
as I walk down the stairs, down to an even larger place of worship. and the surface of the water started glowing pink color. the surface of the water is covered in the pink slime that I saw earlier. and there is even a larger statue of that deity and the books on the chairs were bounded in bear hyde. I explored the room and I saw on the bookstand, was an ivory tablet, I read one of the books first, and it was a bible, for the Cthulhu cult. it tells tales of horrors, and the deities they worship, the outer gods.
the outer gods were descendants of the very first outer god, azathoth. the three outer gods important to the cult, were Nyarlathotep, the nameless mist, and the darkness. the outer gods created everything in the universe, and they even created the world we live in, including other lands beyond Equestria. they are now dead, except not, while some of them are still awake, the mad Arab in that bible explains, "that is not dead which can eternal lie and with strange eons, even death may die." it even tells the origin behind the windigos, and how they were ponies once before ithaqua altered them into spirits of the cold. it even tells a prophesy that yarlgoth will sing the song that awakens Cthulhu, one of the outer gods. and those who worshiped them will be rewarded to become just like the outer gods, freedom without morality, freedom to bring chaos, to be wild without any logic of life of death.
I have no idea that they have done ways of the occult, and how such eldritch abominations were still alive in a sence of death. I looked at the ivory tablet, and it was written in Swahili, witch is the languadge that village described in their dreams. the book mentioned that the ivory tablet was written by one of the members of the zebra tribes trying to warn everycreature about the outer gods, and the horrors from the cosmos, but he ends up writing the invocation of yarlgoth and he didn't realize what he had done until he reads what he wrote down. he tries to destroy the tablet but was killed by the cult before he had the time to do so.
it says, "Kuomba ile ya giza inayowakilisha wazimu, yeye anayemwita mungu wa nje, Cthulhu.
Bila maadili, kumvutia mtoaji wa uhuru wa Kuwa mkali na machafuko bila maadili.

I learned how to speak Swahili from zecora, and I realized that it translates with, "To invoke The dark one representing madness, she who invokes the outer god, Cthulhu.
Without morality, invoking the giver of freedom of Being wild and chaotic without morality.
Yarlgoth she who calls among the Stars.
Yarlgoth!"
I realized that what I just walked into were not the catacombs. it was a temple, her temple. and what I just read out loud, I just wish that I hadn't. my eyes widened in terror for I felt something breathing on my back, something was right behind me. I looked at the idol, and realized who they were worshiping, they were worshiping a dark one, a minor outer god. one who was part outer god, and part mortal.
I turned to see what it was, and it was the monster I saw in my dream, fully revealed to me in its frightening appearance.
I know who that monster truly was, who yarlgoth really was and I screamed over the monster I have seen. I found pinkie pie, and her true form was vast beyond what I can fully understand and it is not something that my mind can handle. I was driven to insanity by the sight of the monster of a pony. she was fifteen feet tall, she had a pony-like shape, she even looked like one, but the physicality of her entire body was divine beyond all memory, trypophobia had kicked in when I looked her in the eyes including eyes all over her body, they glow light blue colour and pupils were everywhere beyond what I can count. her flesh was, gelatinous and slime-like, her mane and tail were a thousand limbs of tentacles and tendrils, so much so that I lost count. her front hooves were even larger tentacles to possibly grasp with great strength. her gelatinous body was also covered in outer shells of terrible and diseased secretion, with the occult chaos symbol on her chest, and the other two symbols on her thighs looked liked pinkie pie's cutie mark... no... they are her cutie mark. the rest of her body was not what my mind can allow, for my eye starts twitching violently, slowly losing my sanity.
she looked at me, laughing maniacally while she adds it.

pinkie spoke to me, and her voice was disembodied, gelatinous, non-pony-like, demonic, what can I say? my sanity was long gone already, I am at a loss of words to describe her even further, pinkie pie is the only name I can call that thing other than the name yarlgoth. I ran out of room to leave the temple as soon as possible, running as fast as I could.
I kept on running upstairs to find a way out, to get away from pinkie, away from all of the horrors that this temple awaits.
I ran from the temple through the horrors that it contains, halls of all the places of worship of the same dark one. that dark one was chasing after me, from what I can hear.

and I saw a way out, and finally, I got through, I was at the top of the mountain where the temple was located. I jumped out of the stairs, flying away from this cursed temple away from the eldritch monstrosity that I just witnessed, I did not look back, I just have to run away from pinkie, and the eldritch mountain. I escaped, but I knew that pinkie was still looking for me. she was already released from r'lyeh and was hunting me down. I don't know what she will do when she finds me, and I do not want to know. but now I'm lost, deeper in the forest than I've ever been before and this was how I escaped into.
it has been a year since I have wandered through the forest. I found everything everywhare in the forest, and I have gathered them up in my saddlebag. I have gathered all the evidence in this forest of where pinkie came from, the eldritch horrors that are impossible to describe. I heard that starlight glimmer has become one of these eldritch abominations and she had gone mad from the knowledge that was forbidden for us to see. rainbow dash has post-traumatic stress disorder from the knowledge, the wonderbolts were all wiped out, and how maud and pinkie being born as eldritch abominations. it all connects now, the revelation of it all, and I just realized that I was one of these ponies who will meet her revalation not ment for everypony to know.
but right now, in the middle of the night, I have made a campfire in a forest, my new animal friends, helped me survive in this forest, from the predator that was trying to find me. I may have been still alive, but my mind will never recover for what I have gazed upon. and I just wish that twilight was here, because if she was then she would have taken me to a mental hospital, for me to seek help. she doesn't know where I am. and I see visions of those eldritch abominations everywhere I go.
I knew that this is my final testimony because pinkie is still hunting me down, as yarlgoth. she is still trying to find me, I have been looking for any shelter, anything for me to hide from pinkie, to hide anywhere if she ever looks for me. but because of my insanity, I cannot get rid of the invocation stuck in my head. invoking she who calls among the stars, I dream of a day where everypony who worships the outer gods will be screaming and shouting their invocations of Cthulhu, where everypony is the drum, everypony will chant "Cthulhu fhtagn" and pinkie pie singing the song that awakens Cthulhu and the outer gods.
I do not know what my revelation was going to be, but I doubt that I would live long in prosper. I know too much, and the cult still lives despite the temple I have uncovered being empty, pinkie... or... yarlgoth still lives too, I guess, and she is still coming for me. I don't think I can ever live in the forest that long enough to escape, but I must try. I will be the first of her victims, and she could be here any moment now.
