the wolf kid
alternative ending: The final battle (RD and Sunset vs Gilda) - Sunset pov
Previous Chapter“Oh look!” cried Gilda, coming up to Flash and I. “It’s the 2 love birds of Canterlot High!”
“Have you come to fight?” I asked. “If you have, i’m ready.”
I pulled off my dress over my head, taking the amber skins with it. I pulled off my gloves and mask, revealing my secret to the entire school. Students started backing off, leaving me, Dash and Gilda in the centre of the room.
Gilda and I circled each other, treading in a perfect circle. She then leapt on to Rainbow Dash. I ran forward, shoving Dash out of the way.
Gilda and I started to fight, both of us getting seriously injured. I knew I had to stop Gilda, for my friends. For CHS. For Flash.
Gilda and I fought. I could only hold her off for so long. Because I wasn’t expecting her to shove me into the wall.
I lay, motionless, curled up in a tiny ball, whimpering weakly.
Rainbow Dash ran for help, dragging the remaining mane 6 with her. Fluttershy poured over my injuries, wiping bacteria out of them with an antiseptic cloth.
Applejack carried me in her strong arms, as they sprinted to Fluttershy’s house.
“Her injuries are worse than last time’s.” said Fluttershy. “She’s suffering concussion.”
I woke up again in Fluttershy’s house, Fluttershy sleeping peacefully against my shoulder. I looked at my arm, covered in bandages.
“You’re awake!” yelled Rainbow Dash.
“SHHHH!” chorused the others. “Fluttershy’s sleeping.”
Fluttershy stirred. “Oh, Sunset!” she cried. “I’m so happy to see you awake! We thought you were gonna die!”
Fluttershy leaned over to hug me.
“And ah think we should change her dressings,” said Applejack, holding up a wad of bandages in her hand.
Fluttershy nodded. She unwrapped the bloody dressings off my arms and legs and back, before wrapping a new piece around me.
I sat up. “Painful.” I said.
“I know,” said Rainbow Dash. “I know how it feels.”
