I was the first to finish the Chemistry test. Again. I opened the letter my mom sent me earlier today.

Dear Sunset,
Can you meet me by the portal at 7 pm, tonight?

I grinned. I opened Whatsapp on my phone, and went onto the Rainbooms Group chat.

My friends and I arrived at the portal.

I saw a 2 figures run towards the portal. “Sunset? Is that you?” asked the woman, my mother.

“Yes,” I said. “I am. Mom. Dad This is Rarity, Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Applejack.”

“But are you really our daughter?” growled a voice. I assumed my father.

“Yes.” I said. “I am.”

“I think you have to prove it,” hissed Twilight, in my ear.

I sighed. “Okay.” I said. I pulled off the mask. I tied my red-gold hair in a ponytail, so the triangular ears would be more promient.

My father nodded. “You are.”

My mother smiled. “Would you like to live with us?” she asked.

“I’d love that,” I said, shyly, with a small smile.
