After seven years of college Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer have moved back to Canterlot City to begin their new life together as young, married professionals in their fields of choice. They have degrees, (several of them) they have new jobs, and are about to begin hunting for the perfect house. However, much to Sunset's surprise, Twilight tells her she also wants to start a family. The couple talks it over, explores the different avenues and options, but soon become frustrated at the costs of artificial insemination and the road blocks for adoption to a same sex couple.
