Cadence a pink alicorn then showed up carrying a purple Alicorn smiling with glee. “Isn’t she adorable Shiny.” Cadence asked in happiness. “Indeed Cadence, indeed. Thank you for being here with us Luna.” Shining Armor said. “You’re welcome it is my duty and my pleasure.” Luna bowed “Now let me take a look at the little one.” Luna then made funny faces at the Baby Alicorn making her laugh she then used tree sap and slid it on her head and then Luna carried her out using her magic to the audience and holds it up in front of everyone and they begin cheering. After the ceremony ended The Royal Advisor Spike the small dragon then made her way to the most horrifying place he could ever imagine Sombra’s place. Spike then knocked the door to the house and Sombra himself opened it up. “Ah Spike, what do I owe the pleasure?” The dark unicorn himself Sombra asked with a malicious smirk knowing Spike feared him. Spike stood his ground and says “I am here to announce that King Shining Armor is on his way so you better have a good reason for missing the ceremony.” “Oh I quiver in FEAR!” Sombra snarled at the small dragon making him gulp. “Sombra that’s quite enough.” Shining Armor said angrily showing up to defend Spike. “Why if it isn’t my younger brother here to mingle with the commoners.” Sombra said walking up to Shining Armor with a smirk. “Cadence and I did not see you at the presentation of Twilight.” Shining Armor angrily proclaims. “That was today, oh I feel simply awful, must of slipped my mind.” Sombra sarcastically said with no remorse. “Yes well as slippery as your mind is as the king’s brother you should’ve been first in line-“ Spike began before Sombra stomped his hoof angrily. “I was first in line until the little brat as born.” Sombra angrily stomped making the ground shake. “That brat is my daughter and your future queen.” Shining Armor snarled at Sombra. “Oh I shall go practice my courtesy.” Sombra rolled his eyes going back inside. Shining Armor then blocked the entrance inside and said “Is that a challenge?” “Temper, Temper I would not dream of challenging you.” Sombra exclaimed. “Pity why not?” Spike asked sarcastically. “Well as far as brains go I got the pony’s share but when it comes to brute strength I’m afraid I don’t have much other than this sexy armor.” Sombra admits obnoxiously going back inside this time Shining Armor lets him go in. “Oh there is only one jealous member in the family I mean he knows he’s immortal that’s why you’re mother made you king.” Spike exclaims “Because you and Twilight would have to Uh hit the hay at one point.” “I understand Spike but what am I going to do with him?” Shining Armor asked to Spike. “He’d make a very handsome carpet.” Spike said jokingly. Shining Armor playfully lectured “Spike c’mon.” “Okay I was kidding let’s go.” Spike said happily. Spike and Shining Armor then left as we cut to the night time when Luna raises the moon she heads to her house and puts up a drawing of Twilight. “Ah Twilight the next heir.” //-------------------------------------------------------// Twilight’s Young Life //-------------------------------------------------------// Twilight’s Young Life Young Twilight saw as the sun rises and uses her little wings to fly to Shining Armor and Cadence’s room, she then begged Shining Armor to wake up and that he did. Shining Armor then showed Twilight the balcony of the castle. “Look Twily everything the light touches is our kingdom.” Shining Armor presented. “Wow.” Twilight said in awe of the majesty of the kingdom. “Everything the light touches, what about that shadowy place?” Twilight asked curiously looking in the shadows. “That is beyond our borders daughter, you must never go there.” Shining Armor lectures softly. “But I thought being a ruler means you could do whatever you want.” Twilight said bashfully. “Well there’s more to being ruler then getting your way all the time.” Shining Armor explained. “There’s more?” Twilight asked excitedly. “Oh yes there is.” Shining Armor said. Shining Armor then showed Twilight around Canterlot “You see Twilight here we are at Canterlot a ruler must provide for her subjects and listen to them when needed.” “Wow.” Twilight said in awe before Spike flew in bowing. “Good morning sire.” Spike said happily. “Good morning Spike.” Shining Armor greeted his trusted advisor. “Checking in with the morning report.” Spike announced. “Fire away.” Shining Armor then said. Shining Armor and Twilight listened to Spike’s report when a cyan Pegasus showed up. “Shining Armor news from the Wonderbolts, the changelings are attacking.” The cyan Pegasus reported. “Gah not again, thank you Rainbow Dash I shall deal with them immediately.” Shining Armor said running off. “Aw Dad can I come too?” Twilight begged wanting to join her father. “No Twilight just go with Spike to the castle.” Shining Armor instructed. “I never get to go anywhere.” Twilight complained upset she wasn’t allowed to go with Shining Armor. “Oh don’t be sad Twilight, one day you’ll be the queen than you can go chase those beasts, I don’t know how Thorax and Pharynx dealt with them.” Spike said. You see Thorax and Pharynx were redeemed changelings Spike befriended back before the changelings first invaded they then helped Spike fend off the changelings when they attacked the Crystal Empire. Twilight then went to see her favorite uncle. Twilight knocked the door enthusiastically. Sombra then opened up the door and Twilight embraces the dark unicorn. “Hey Uncle Sombra guess what?” Twilight asked happily. “I despise guessing games.” Sombra told Twilight angrily. “I’m gonna be queen of Equestria.” Twilight said with glee. “Oh goody.” Sombra said sarcastically. “My dad showed me the whole kingdom and I’m gonna duke it all, hehe.” Twilight bragged spreading her hooves to point at the castle. “Yes well forgive me for not leaping with joy, bad back and all that.” Sombra pretended to smile walking to Twilight. “Hey Uncle Sombra, when I’m king what will that make you?” Twilight asked curiously. “A monkey’s uncle.” Sombra rolled his eyes with a smirk. “Pfft you’re so weird.” Twilight giggles a bit. “You have no idea so you’re father showed you the whole kingdom?” Sombra asked walking inside with Twilight on his back. “Everything.” Twilight said excitedly. “He didn’t show you what’s beyond our borders?” Sombra asked feigning curiousness as he knew the answer. “Well no he said I can’t go there.” Twilight said in disappointment. “And he’s absolutely right it’s far too dangerous only the bravest ponies go to the Outlands-oops.” Sombra pretended to gasp. “The Out what? Woah.” Twilight said in awe. “Oh dear I’ve said too much.” Sombra said dramatically “You’re so clever little one but promise me you will never go to that dreadful place.” “No problem.” Twilght lies enthusiastically. “There’s a good lad you run along now and have fun.” Sombra said shooting off Twilight who ran off excitedly. Sombra smirked he knew that Twilight would go anyway but that is exactly what he planned. //-------------------------------------------------------// To the Outlands //-------------------------------------------------------// To the Outlands Twilight then ran over to the river, where Cadence, Firelight, and her best friend Starlight Glimmer was. “Hey Starlight.” Twilight said happily. “Hi Twilight.” Starlight waves happily. “Come on. I just heard about this great place.” Twilight informs her best friend. “So where is this really cool place?” Cadence asked. “Oh around the watering hole.” Twilight lies through her teeth. “The watering hole, what’s so cool about the watering hole?” Starlight asks curiously. “I’ll show you when we get there.” Twilight whispers. “Oh.” Starlight said realizing what Twilight was up to. “Dad can I go with Twilight?” Starlight asks her father. “Hmm, what do you think Cadence?” Firelight responds. Cadence then begins pondering as Twilight and Starlight give her pleading eyes and she rolls her eyes playfully. “It’s alright with me.” Cadence relents with a smile making Twilight and Starlight cheer. “As long as Spike goes with you.” Cadence adds with a smirk making Twilight and Starlight groan. “Aw not Spike.” Twilight says annoyed. We soon cut to Twilight and Starlight being led by Spike to the watering hole. “C’mon girls, the sooner we make it to the watering hole, the better.” Spike says happily. Starlight and Twilight begin whispering to each other. “So where are we really going?” Starlight asked. “The Outlands.” Twilight explained making Starlight gasp in awe. “Ooh what’s that?” Starlight asked curiously. “Oh I don’t know yet but it sounds cool.” Twilight said. “So how are we gonna ditch Spike?” Starlight asked. “Oh I know.” Twilight said giggling before blasting Spike with a spell sending him to sleep. “What did you do?” Starlight asked concerned. “It’s a sleep spell, now we can go to the Outlands.” Twilight cheered “Come on let’s go." Starlight looked back at the dragon in remorse before joining Twilight to the Outlands.
