//-------------------------------------------------------// His Time Has come -by PrinceOfDarkness- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// My Time Is Up. //-------------------------------------------------------// Author's Note Wow, it was so hard writing this. Seriously, I got tearful writing this. I suck at emotional stories, my weakspot. Anyways...tell me what you think. This was also a tribute to Michael Clarke Duncan and other actors, celebrities, etc. The theme i had was this: Song Of Freedom(Doctor Who) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKa_oZ5NBiM) My Time Is Up. So this was it huh? I'm finally ready to move on and die. I know it sounds depressing, but just think about it. Humans aren't meant to live over 90 and 100 years of age, the body and organs can't handle that amount of usage in life. Humans aren't meant to live up to 300 or 500. It's just not natural. Soon, i'll see Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy again. Everyone who i've lost I'll get to be with. But most importantly, I'll see Fleur again. You may be wondering, how did she die? Don't sirens live a long time? Longer than ponies and humans combined? That they do, only 200 years maximum is the lifespan of a siren and unicorn in this world. Lucky sons of bitches, get to live longer than humans. My dear Fleur passeed on oh so long ago. The pain was, is never ending. It's hard to let go of someone you love. Endings are sad, but, beginnings are happy. That treadmill keeps on turning. I think the universe still has much to teach so. I'll just keep on learning. Even in death will I live. Death is not the total end like many thought, and still think. It is merely the beginning. When we die we get to be either reborn or we come back as something totally different. We gain our own powers when we die. I may die this day, but I'm ready for it. I've made my peace with everyone and I think it's time I move on and let everything happen as it should. Most of my organs have given up and died. That is of course except my heart, my lungs and my brain. My power supply however has nearly dried up and is using it's last amount of emergency backup power to keep my body and organs that still work alive. I can feel my soul slowly slipping from my body, from the container it's been inside of for over 90 years I'm ready. I embrace my end. I may not have a swansong, but this will do. It all just disappears, doesn't it? Everything you are, gone in a moment, like breath on a mirror. We all change. When you think about it, we're all different people all through our lives. And that's ok. That's good, you've got to keep moving. So long as you remember all the people that you used to be. I will not forget one line of this, not one day. I swear. I will always remember who I used to be. Well then, as David Tennant's 10th Doctor would say, ALLONS'Y! ************************************************************************************** The four princesses watched as their oldest friend drew his ragged breaths, his lungs wheezing as they pumped the last remnants of oxygen into his system in it's failing attempt to keep him alive. The quartet could sense his time was coming any minute now. They didn't want to have to believe it, that he would leave them. Cadance had lost Shining 300 years ago. The poor mare never got over it. Twilight however, took the loss stronger. Not only did she lose her brother, but also her parents. She'd locked herself in her room for months at a time over the years. Since alicorns were immortal, they couldn't die. They could be killed yes, but it is very hard to kill an alicorn naturally. Kyle's skin began to smell a sickly sweet, signifying that his death was imminent. His aged white hair, his voice hoarse and damaged. His sagged and war torn skin marked with gashes, cuts and other injuries of war and fights he'd been in over his very long lifespan. His aged brown eyes weren't fairing any better either. His sight had began to fade and weaken. His body was very slowly breaking down. He was lucky he didn't get cancer or arthritis over the years. "Well, this is it then." He began. As every being in the room sniffled and began to cry. The sound of pain and misery hurt him greatly. He'd heard it for too long. "Please stop crying over my death. I may die, but know I will always remember you. Remember me in the good times we had, never the bad. Remember everything we did together, every talk, every game, absolutely everything. I may one day come back in a new body. I may sound, smell and look different, but it'll be me. Until then, there must be no regrets, no tears, no anxieties. Just go forward in all your beliefs and prove to me that I am not mistaken in mine." He softly asked as he began to consolingly rub Celestia and Luna's fur, the two had tears in their eyes as they began to watch their most valuable friend die right in front of them. "You two have always been there for me. Thank you. As a leader I once knew would say. Till all are one." He whispered faintly, his heart rate dropping to zero. His last sight was what appeared upon his Heads Up Display he had gotten used to in his long and painful lifetime. [GOODNIGHT PROTOCOL ACTIVE! SYSTEM FAILURE 0000! SHUTTING DOWN!] He drew a final breath, and everything in his vision went a bright white. Somewhat to some extent, he could feel his body, every muscle, nerve and artery could still be felt. How odd that was for him. "Kyle Samson, we have decided that you shall join your beloved and your friends in our domain. You may have sinned in your life, but it is oughtweighed by the good you have done for others. You are a noble and true human, one who deserves a happy ending, for everything he has done." The voice boomed loudly. He began to hear a metallic creak in front of him, the bright white light had completely faded which revealed to him pure blue skies and clouds in the sky. An eternal sun gently glowing down on them. Was this a cloud, perhaps? No, it felt like sand, but also like a cloud. Strange. He began to walk through the gates, he looked down and noticed his body had been restored to it's youth thoroughly. His hair had reverted back to it's natural black. He felt for any metal skeleton, but found natural bone. The feeling of being restored to a complete human and being back in his prime brought him to tears. Why did he deserve this? He'd done many bad things, but although outweighed by the good, it still left him thinking about it. "What is this place? Heaven? A combination of worlds from multiple religions?" He asked the voice, hoping for a response. "Your second guess was correct, you see, when I met with others who were of different religion, we realized that we weren't all that different. Aside from having different opinions on certain actions and behaviours, many things in many of our books we came to agree on. That is why everyone of every religion that has died is here. They are united and friends, just like I am with Allah, Waheguru, Yahweh and the others." "You are quite right, my father." A calm and friendly voice spoke. As he turned around he saw someone quite familiar. Someone from the bible. "Jesus, is that you? I'm so sorry for how you died in the mortal world, you never deserved it." Kyle concoled the spiritual being. He looked just like he did in the bible, brown hair and beard, a white cloak, blue eyes. "You needn't apologize for something that was not of your doing. Humans have evolved and become better. They are still learning and evolving after all. All life does. It is simply the way of things." The brown-haired being answered, shaking his hand. "I know humans have evolved, but if you ask me, so have ponies of Equestria. They are wonderful and peaceful beings. Ones that have not needed war in many years. Many of which I have lived for far too long." Kyle stated, saddened by the pain he had caused others back in Equestria. "Your death is not your fault, it was withheld from you by souls who are now in hell for many sins, including your first death. Do not worry, they will heal from your passing, let them grieve it out first. That is always the worst part, the pain and misery caused by it. The souls who thought I did wrong have been forgiven and cleansed by my father's hand. And they are among the souls in heaven, they deserve it. They were lied to and were tricked into believing I did wrong. Everybody makes mistakes, all beings do, the thing is that we learn from them and become better by using what we did wrong as a life lesson to improve ourselves." The demigod soothed, rubbing his shoulder consolingly. "I can agree Boss." A faint voice answered. John Coffey from The Green Mile was here. The poor man deserved to come back. He'd been framed and seen the sufferings of which humans of the past had caused. "They've evolved John. Many of them are better." Kyle answered the being, hugging him softly. "I know, I'm proud of what you've done, even though you did wrong you tried to correct your mistakes. That is what makes me proud." The man answered. Walking away as he gave a small smile. "Now, I believe it is time for you to see your old friends, and the one you unfairly lost to time." The brown-haired man answered, pointing a hand in the direction. Kyle walked further into the realm, and was tackled by his oldest friends, not only his pony friends, but his friends from before he died. "We've missed you man, where've you been all this time?" Sarah asked, hugging him tearfully. He joined in as he cried along. "I got revived and lived for about 590 years of life, I had a lover who lived 290 of them. I've been alone since." Kyle stated, feeling his soul body. "Well, the thing is that you're with us now. We don't have to worry about what happened then. We're all here, your other friends, celebrities like Kobe Bryant, Paul Walker, Samuel Jackson, Hugh Jackman, Sir Patrick Stewart, Sir Ian McKellen, Elizabeth Sladen and many others, even the eleven children from the Five Nights At Freddy's games. Everyone's here." Harry answered, hugging his old friend. "If you excuse me, I've got someone I love to find." Kyle asked, walking away as he began to look for Fleur. He hoped she was here, he needed her. "Fleur? Fleur? Where are you honey?" He asked, searching around with his vision. Oddly enough, he no longer had the annoying Heads Up Display that he'd gotten used to in his long lifetime. Instead his normal vision had returned. "I'm right over here, mon amour." The loving, accented voice called out, easing his fears. He looked around and soon enough noticed the mare he so loved. She looked just like she did when they had first met for the first time all those years ago. She looked young and healthy, no wrinkles, arthritis or other conditions eating away at her. He ran over to her and pulled her into his arms, sobbing into her fur. The pain fading as he let his true feelings out for the first time in such a long time. After she had died those 210 years ago, he'd become a recluse and never talked to anyone afterwards. Her death had left a pain in him that never left. Only now had the pain subsided and vanished into thin air. "Oh dear God Fleur, I've missed you! I've missed you so much!" He admitted tearfully. His body overwhelmed with emotion. "Shh, I know, I know my love. I've missed you too. Ever so much. I'm here now, we'll never be separated again, everything's going to be alright." Fleur whispered soothingly. Her voice calming him as he began to relax and calm down from his emotional high. "Life's not been the same without you. I've lived far too long than I naturally should've. If I had a normal lifespan I would have died before you. The pain's never gone until now. I became a recluse, locked myself away and went into a coma for ten years. I wanted to join you. But there was no way to find and get to you. I spent longer than I naturally should've alive. I can't handle losing you again. " Kyle admitted tearfully. His eyes clear and his vision renewed. He could feel his nonexistent organs functioning in unison at a natural speed just like they used to. "I'm always here now. Remember what we promised each other at our wedding? We'll be together till death do us part, and in the end we'll be together forever no matter what?" Fleur asked, hoping his memory had stayed intact over the years. "I remember everything, everypony there. Everything you and I said, everything we did." He admitted, his memory had not been affected by his old age. His memory was intact and always would be. "You know, there is a way for you to live again in a physical body, my father and I can give you the power to create your own world where you two can live immortally forever, you'd be able to come here and back as you please. Would you like that?." The young god offered, sticking out his right hand which had started to glow a strong orange. "Why? Why would you do this for me? For us? Why not everypony and everyone else?" He asked tearfully, accepting the hand as he felt his body remake itself perfectly from the atoms. Fleur's own doing the same. "Let us know how the creative abilities work. And good luck. You two deserve a happy ending. You both never got it. So I'll give it to you." The young demigod stated as he smiled. The world around them faded as their bodies finished recreation. Kyle felt around his body, bone, skin and everything internal was there. He could feel his organs again, healthy and renewed. The two spent some time making a new world, a paradise to live in eternally. As the two finished up for the day. They cuddled up in their bed, smiling at the moon in the sky. They knew they didn't deserve this power, but was given it out of purity. The act like that was a powerful one. They would never forget Jesus's offer. Fleur curled deeper into his body, smiling at the warmth she had missed for so long. Kyle held her softly, letting her snuggle him. "I love you, mon amour." She whispered to him through his mind. Words weren't needed between the two. "I love you too, Fleur. I've missed you so much." He replied emotionally. Eventually both husband and wife fell asleep, reunited at last. They finally were given the happy ending they so desired. ************************************************************************************* Back in Equestria, the princesses had given him a wonderful funeral, and buried him next to their fallen soldiers. They viewed him not only as a good friend and like a brother, but also a noble and true warrior. They, and other ponies who had heard of his tale looked down to the stone grave. Reading the name.
