Part 1: The New Secret Weapon
Through an uncharted jungle in the morning, a tan pegasus pony, with a discolored rainbow mane, looking a lot like Rainbow Dash, but wearing a safari hat and suit...Daring Do, to be exact, was scouring the area for any trouble that came her way. She trekked through the tropical jungle, the wet heat sapped her energy and slowed her every step. If only she could escape this oppressive atmosphere and fly up into the cool blue sky.
But her recent escape from her mortal enemy, Ahuizotl in the jungle had injured her wing and she was grounded for a few days, which might as well be a few months or a few years! Fortunately, she was pretty much used to it because she has such experience in her past adventures.
The mosquitoes buzzed loudly. The macaws cried from the high trees. Yet all of these distracting noises were not enough to cover the sound of the predators following her every step. The tan pegasus’ ears pivoted about, twitching as they tried to track the soft footfalls of her would-be stalkers. So far, it was quiet. Like they say in the movies, too quiet. She was wondering where her enemy might be, despite defeating him not too long ago.
"Ugh!" She said, wiping the sweat that was easily dripping off her forehead. "It's bad enough that I evaded Ahuizotl, and got my wing hurt in the progress...but this heat is intense, and I'm not sure how I can be cool again and fly." She scanned the area for her enemy's cat troops to see if they were tailing her. So far, no sound or sight of them.
She sighed in relief once that was taken care of, but now she had to figure out where she was. She started to take a brisk walk through the forest, and enjoy the scenery. She continued to trek, until she came to a stop, as she approached a mountainous area with trees on it. It looked a little normal as far as the eye could see. One thing about it looked off: It appeared to be divided through the middle. Daring was a little unsure about all this, as she saw what was in front of her.
"Hmm..." She wondered out loud. "There must be a reason why that mountain appears to be divided here. What would it possibly mean?" As she examined it, she thought of all the outcomes of why it looked divided down the middle. She wondered why it was like that as she decided to take a closer look.
In Ponyville, a blue unicorn with a crescent-shaped silver mane...namely, the Great and Powerful Trixie had just wrapped up her latest magic show, and was just finishing to put a few things into her caravan. It was a little tough at first, but she tried and finally managed to fit her items in it.
"There!" She said confidently, as she closed it all up. "Now, to get ready for Trixie's next show!" She was about to head for her next show, and then thought about her friend, Starlight. "Trixie's show isn't for a few hours, actually." She thought quietly. "Perhaps, maybe I could go see Starlight, and see what new magic tricks we could practice today." A smirk came on her face, and decided that it wouldn't hurt to see her friend for a little bit.
She trotted over to Twilight's castle of Friendship, and made her way inside. She figured her assistant would be over ecstatic to see her again, and decide to catch up with a little tea, as well.
"Starlight!" She called out, excited. "The Great & Powerful Trixie is here to see you, and practice some new spells!" She leaned over to see if her friend would respond. So far, silence. Trixie was confused. She usually heard Starlight coming up to see her.
"Maybe, I'd better check to see if she's here." She thought to herself, empathetically.
But, as she checked the various libraries, they were all empty. Trixie couldn’t help but feel like something was… off. She checked the kitchen as she passed; empty. She knocked on Starlight’s bedroom, with no response. She pushed the door open.
Empty. Where had Starlight gone? She was feeling distinctly uneasy.
She walked to the Cutie Map, and quickly cast a spell on the map. She saw Starlight's cutie mark, but it was out of range in Equestria, and appeared to be in a different sphere.
She felt her Cutie Mark respond to the magic of the Map. It was calling her.
The symbol spread out and started circling the entire map. It circled out of the map, and onto a different map-like manifestation of Earth on a sphere.
She then realized she heard of the portal the Mane Six, and Starlight used to get to a world outside of Equestria, which was also where another group of heroes was. She had been there before, and was even present when some representatives from that world helped team with her and everyone to destroy Tirek, Chrysalis, Grogar, the Avatar versions of Blaze and Roxy and Bell-Tron. She then wondered if Starlight was there. She decided to check, and went out of the castle and to the portal close by. That would tell her.
She went to the portal, and mustered her strength to go through it. She swirled, and was on her way to her destination.
The Mane Six, Spike, Starlight Glimmer and Cozy Glow were just arriving at Grid Battleforce, as they went in. Earlier in the morning, they had gotten a letter saying that their presence was needed and that they had to be there. They were unsure what the reason was, but they went to find out.
They were a little tired from early in the morning, since they had to get up to go. But, luckily they would see their friends. Applejack yawned, waking up. “Mornin’, Rarity.” She said, tired.
“Good morning, Applejack.” Rarity said, feeling just as tired as her friend.
“Has anyone heard from the rangers recently about all this?” Twilight asked.
“Nuh-Uh!” The rest all answered, as they were tired.
“I don't see what’s so important that we had to come here this early.” Rainbow Dash said, as she yawned. “Celestia hasn't even raised the sun yet!”
“I hope everything's okay.” Starlight said with worry. “It’s just that something could be terribly wrong!”
“Don’t you think you’re being a little paranoid?” Spike asked.
“But, why else would the Commander send us a message in such a hurry?” Starlight asked, more worried.
“Good point.” Fluttershy said. “She knows better than to make us worry.”
They met in the lab, and saw the rangers, Betty Burke and Commander Shaw already in there. Rainbow Dash was still feeling a little sleepy, as she bumped into something. “Ahhhhh!” She and the thing both screamed in shock. Rainbow finally saw Devon right in front of her.
“Oh, Hi, Rainbow Dash!” Devon said, a little chipper today. He was recoiling from his shock.
“Sorry about that, Devon.” Rainbow said, apologetic. “We were pretty sleepy, and we had to come early.”
“You guys okay?” Ravi asked as he saw them enter.
“You guys look like you haven’t slept a wink last night.” Zoey said, concerned.
“Well, I don't think that would’ve been a problem if the Commander hadn’t sent us an urgent message.” Twilight answered groggily.
“I apologize for disturbing your beauty sleep.” Commander Shaw said, calmly. “But, I’m glad you could come. The general said that he has an important announcement for all of us.”
“Why would he want us in such a hurry?” Rarity asked confused.
“I don’t know, Rarity.” Nate said. “But, it might be important.”
“Ooh! Ooh! Maybe, it’s a brand-new weapon to add on to our arsenal of powerful weapons!” Pinkie Pie piped up excitedly.
“That’s exactly why I called you all here.” General Burke said, as he came in the lab. “Hi, kids.” He said, as he saw Ben and Betty.
“Hi, Dad.” Ben said, in a civil manner.
“Hey, Dad.” Betty said as she waved at him.
“General Burke?” Starlight asked. “What are you doing here? What’s wrong? What happened?”
“That’s just it.” He said to them. “Nothing's wrong! Everything's perfect!”
Everyone was just confused as soon as they heard that. “Did y'all call us down here just to tell us that?” Applejack asked, in shock.
“With all due respect, General, you might want to save your urgent summons for matters that are a bit more... well, urgent!” Rarity said in agreement.
General Burke chuckled for a second. “Well, there is more to it.” He said to them. “The Mayor and I have been working on a top-secret project. And today, you get to see it in action.”
He scanned the entrance for the guest. “Hmmm...The Mayor seems to be running a bit late.” He said. “But, maybe I can give you a little sneak peek.” He got out an HD Video Camera from his pocket. “...if I can remember how this thing works.” He went to one of the workers in the lab. “Here. Plug this in.”
“What top-secret project?” Devon asked.
“I have no idea.” Commander Shaw said, unsure as well.
“We’re just as stumped as you are.” Rainbow added.
The worker plugged the camera in, and on the screen showed the General in the training room. “Is this thing on?" He asked. He then saw that the camera was recording."Oh, Red light." He said in relief. "Okay kids, Strut your stuff!”
Ben and Betty were shocked, as they were seeing the video of their dad showing them their training. "Dad!" He said, nervously as he and his sister ran up to him. "Wrong video!"
"Turn it off!" Betty said, getting embarrassed.
"Yeah, yeah. I'll fast-forward to the good stuff!" General Burke said as he tried to skip to the best stuff. Ben and Betty both tried to block the video from the heroes. Devon, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and Spike all shared a little chuckle as they saw it. And Twilight and Ravi even giggle snorted a little too.
The video of them making utter fools of themselves kept playing. "How do you stop this thing?!" Ben asked in worry.
"Hey, practice makes perfect." Cozy said as the others except the commander nodded.
Just then, the video even showed the general, trying to make a fool out of himself. "Whoa! That's me!" He said in shock as he saw himself in the video. He got to the camera, and yanked it from the computer, making the video not shown on the screen.
The rangers and ponies finished their moment of funniness as he turned to them. "I'm afraid this video camera has got some bugs in it." He handed the camera to Betty.
"Uh, yeah!" Betty said, nervously as she left the lab. "I'll fix it. No worry."
"General Burke..." Twilight said, as she finished up her laughter moment. "What is this top-secret project?"
“Ah, Yes. Thank you for asking, Twilight.” He said, as he went to them. “That would be...The Beast-X King Zord!”
Everyone gasped in amazement and shock as soon as they heard that. “Uh, did you say Zord?” Nate asked, to make sure.
“You’re kidding, right?’ Ravi asked as well.
“The Beast-X King Zord?!” Cozy said in realization. “That’s the Zord I piloted when I was saving my friends from Evox!”
“Of course!” Starlight said in shock as well. “We used that Zord when we were fighting BellTron, Chrysalis, Tirek and Grogar.”
“I agree with Starlight.” Twilight added as well. “We used that Zord twice! When we were fighting Evox...both in Equestria, and the Cyber Dimension!” She turned to Fluttershy. “Weren’t you going to use that Zord earlier this week?”
“We were, but the Zord had a few bugs in the system.” Fluttershy admitted to her friend.
“That’s correct.” General Burke said. “It’s a top notch piece of technology with lion DNA. We just worked out the bugs from the system, so we could get it working again. The plan is to build lots of them to protect the global network of Morph-X towers.”
The others gasped. “Wait...did you say mass-produce?” Twilight asked.
“Yes, I did say that.” He said. “We want to have multiples while the rangers, and you are stopping the Storm King from going after our Morph-X.” The other ponies and rangers didn’t think that sounded right, as they started taking amongst themselves. Cozy especially got nervous as she thought that meant the Zord wouldn’t be used as the most powerful weapon, and would be used as a troop vehicle.
Commander Shaw walked up to him. “You built a Zord without notifying Grid Battleforce?” She asked angrily.
Rainbow even flew to him solemnly. “And you had plans to mass produce the Zord that Cozy Glow, herself was using when we fought Evox?!” She asked, feeling the same emotion as the commander was. “If you do that, then the Zord wouldn’t be a special piece in the Power Ranger’s arsenal of hi-tech weaponry. Did you ever think about that?”
“Well, no...” he admitted. “ I didn’t think about that. But, the rangers and Elements of Harmony bearers are too busy keeping their worlds safe. I assure you that this operation won’t disturb your work one teensy bit. We even have our own designer.”
“Hold on!” Pinkie asked, in seriousness. “You have a designer for this Zord?”
“We sure do!” General Burke said to her. “And, she used to work here.”
“She?” Zoey, Rarity, Applejack, and Twilight all asked.
“Used to work here?” Starlight asked. “Does anyone know someone else who used to work here?”
“Not that I know of...” Nate said, confused. “Why?”
“What about Cole?” Spike asked. “I mean, he did hand a virus-laced puppet.”
“Don’t remind me, Spike.” Steel said, bluntly. “That was a mistake. He got rehired, once that was cleared up.”
“Cole still works here.” Fluttershy said. “Other than that, we don’t know off the top of our heads who else used to be here for that matter.” Starlight, and the others continued wondered who else used to work here.
“Don’t worry.” General Burke said to them. “You all may be familiar with her.” At that moment, the door opened. “And, here she is now with the mayor.”
They all turned to see Devon’s dad, Mayor Daniels enter the lab with the designer for the new Zord. Her hair was in two pigtails...one on either side of her head, and she was carrying a folder in her hand, and was equipped with a lion-styled variant of the Beast-X Morpher on her wrist.
Neither of the Mane Six or Starlight knew who she was, as they never seen or met her before. The rangers were surprised as they knew her, and Cozy was further shocked, as she too knew her well. She helped her deploy the Zord in the final battle against Evox.
“Hey, Dad.” Devon said to him, as he noticed the assistant designer next to him. “Megan?”
“Megan?” Cozy asked in surprise.
“Hi...Everyone.” Megan said nervously to the rangers and Mane Six, before she saw Cozy Glow. “Cozy?!” She was surprised to see her. “This is quite a surprise!”
Nate and Zoey exchanged looks of shock and horror, wondering why she was here. “No way!” Zoey said in shock.
Nate couldn’t believe it as well, as he knew what happened the last time Megan was here. “Why would you hire her?” He asked a little defensive. “She blackmailed Zoey.”
“Wait...Nate, you know her?” Rainbow asked in shock.
“You could say that.” Nate said, as he gritted his teeth.
“Easy, Nate.” Mayor Daniels said calmly to him. “Megan mentioned that there was some ‘bad blood’ between you. But, she submitted her amazing design. Her knowledge and experience make her the right person for this top-secret assignment. She’s done a great job.”
“No kidding, she did a great job.” Cozy whispered to Starlight. “Personally, I’d choose her as my Zord designer if she had plans for more weaponry.”
“Ditto.” Starlight whispered back. “She hasn’t done anything bad so far yet, so it may turn out well.”
Megan walked up to Nate, ready to apologize to him, while Nate, himself was still feeling on edge for what she did to his friend in the past. “I know that what I did to you guys was wrong, and I truly didn’t mean for this to happen.” She said calmly. “...but, when the mayor told me about the project, all I wanted to do was help.” Nate, and Zoey were still a little on edge about what happened, and Twilight and the others could tell something was wrong.
Twilight walked up to her friend. “Nate, it’s going to be okay.” She said, calmly. “The way I view her, she hasn’t done anything wrong.” She smiled at him.
“Yeah, easy for you to say.” Nate said a little defensive, gritting his teeth. “I don’t see her blackmailing you because of one flipping mistake!”
Twilight gasped as she moved back a few steps in shock. Fluttershy was surprised at him acting this way. “Nate Silva! Such language!” She turned to him, almost wanting to give him the stare.
“What’s your problem?” Rainbow asked, confused. “What did she ever do to Devon, Ravi, Ben and Steel?”
“Well, you may have a point, Dash.” Devon said, coming to Rainbow’s side with Ravi, Steel and Ben coming up and nodding in agreement with what the wonderbolt said.
The General came over to Megan. “Let’s show them...or rather reintroduce Cozy to how the Zord works.” He said to them. Megan nodded, as she came to the Center of the room to present the zord demonstration.
“As you all can see, Cozy Glow here knows how the Zord works along with Starlight Glimmer, since they have both used the Zord fighting Evox previously.” She pointed to the alicorn filly, and Twilight’s star pupil as she said that. Cozy nodded as she flew over to Megan to witness the demonstration.
“Cozy used the Zord with Megan’s help?” Nate whispered to Zoey in shock. “I don’t believe this!”
“I know.” Zoey added. “I’m just as surprised as you are.”
Megan stuck out her arm, showing the Beast-X King Morpher for all to see “This Beast-X King Morpher/Activator summons the Zord.” She said to them. “For the purposes of the demonstration, I will control it from my tablet.” The others were interested as she got her tablet ready.
“Now, I’ll just bring up the cameras...” she tapped a few buttons, showing a mountainous forest on the cameras. “This is Pine Ridge Woods. It’s just outside of Coral Harbor.”
Twilight and the others were surprised at the breathtaking view of the woods, and were excited to see it for themselves. "Land sakes, Twi!" Applejack whispered to her in excitement. "I don't belive I've ever seen anything like it before!"
"I would agree!" Rarity said, taking in the view. "It looks simply divine!"
"Yeah!" Dash agreed. "It even makes A.K. Yearling's forest look like a shed!"
"Are you all ready?" Megan asked everyone. They all nodded as Megan got the morpher key ready to summon it. “Deploy Beast-X King Zord!” She said as she inserted the key, bringing the Zord to life.
In Pine Ridge Woods, Daring Do was just examining the mountain, when she saw it split open. She was shocked to see a blue, and black lion zord come out of the rock. "What is that?" She wondered. "I've never seen anything like this before!" It reminded her of Ahuizotl's feline minions whom she fought before, but she had never seen or heard of anything like the Beast-X King Zord, as she watched the zord spring to life and outside.
The Zord was deployed out into the open, and the others were amazed at this, especially Cozy, since she had piloted the zord before, and everyone was now witnessing its full beauty.
"Whoa!" Steel said in amazement. "You guys seeing this? It really is a lion zord!"
"That is so cool!" Spike said as he whooped in excitement, watching the zord in action.
"Awesome!" Rainbow piped up.
"Alright!" Starlight said as well.
"Yay!" Fluttershy cheered. Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie, Ben, and Twilight all cheered as well upon seeing the zord as it posed before the heroes in total victory.
Meanwhile, in those same woods, Robo-Blaze, and Roxy and Tempest Shadow heard the roar, and saw the brand-new Zord in front of them. “That’s one heck of a Zord.” Robo-Blaze said in amazement. “I hope the rangers don’t miss it.”
“But, as we all know, Lions are meant to be wild!” Tempest said as she took the dart, and got ready to throw it. “Let’s give those rangers and ponies something truly wild they’ll never forget!” She threw the dart at the Zord spot-on, as it illuminated in purple energy as it’s eyes turned purple as well.
Back at Grid Battleforce, the heroes and Megan were all watching the Beast-X King Zord. However, Nate caught sight of the glow that affected said Zord. “Wait...” he said, as he walked up to Megan. “What’s that glow?”
Megan took notice and saw what Nate was talking about. “That’s weird.” She said. She hit the controls on her tablet, but nothing happened.
“What’s going on, Megan?” Spike asked.
“I commanded the Zord to stand down, but it isn’t responding.” She said, as she saw the Zord about to fire at the trees. “I don’t know what’s happening!”
Everyone was shocked as they saw this. “Whoa!” Devon said in shock. “Did you tell it to do that?”
“No!” Megan said, as she tried to control it, but the system glitched. “There’s like some sort of malware, but the Zord it totally out of control!”
“Maybe that glow on the Zord was...” Nate turned to Megan. “Did you install a firewall against viruses?” He asked her.
Megan was surprised. “Well, I was going to. But...” she started.
“You didn’t!” He said, gritting his teeth. “It’s the Storm King! He’s taking control of that Zord with the virus!”
Everyone gasped in shock, as they know knew why the Zord had went bad, however Megan didn’t know that happened and Cozy was on the same boat as her.
“That Storm King has got the zord in his grasp!” Rarity shrieked in shock.
“Yeah!” Pinkie said.
“And, it’s even bigger than Evox’s or Steel’s own ego!” Applejack replied in fright, pointing to the wreckage that the Zord was creating.
“Guys, I think we’ve got ourselves a big problem!” Rainbow Dash said in horror, as she and the others watched this unfold. They had to get to the call to action, and they had to act now!

And that’s all for part 1! The Beast-X King Zord is back, and it’s gone bad?! Now our heroes are tasked with taming the Zord, which is a challenge more greater than any of them can handle! Are they up to the challenge?! Find out in part 2!

Part 2: Good Zord Gone Bad
When we last left our heroes, the Beast-X King Zord was re-unleashed! But, Robo-Blaze, Robo-Roxy and Tempest Shadow had brought the Zord to the Storm King’s control, and the worst was yet to come! “The Storm King is behind all this?!” Twilight said, now fully shocked. “He’s back?! But, how!? I thought we defeated him!”
“Well, it may sound impossible, Sugarcube.” Applejack told her. “I thought he was gone for good but, it’s true. Fluttershy, and Rarity told us.”
“You all knew about this and you didn’t tell me that he was back?!” Twilight asked, going into Twilighting mode again.
“Well, we didn’t know this entirely, Darling.” Rarity said. “Steel just told us about this a couple of weeks ago.”
“I wanted to tell you, Twilight, but you weren’t there.” Steel said to her, serious and unsure.
“We’re sorry, we didn’t tell you sooner, Twi.” Spike said. “We just figured you knew.” Twilight seemed to calm down a little bit.
“At least you guys were there.” Cozy said, pointing to Spike and Starlight, who both nodded.
“Yeah, we were.” Starlight said.
“That’s not important right now!” Rainbow said with panic. “We’ve got to find a way to stop that thing, and fast!”
“Devon! Ben! Get out there in the Beast-X Hydro Megazord, and stop that thing before it does any real damage!” Commander Shaw told the two teens urgently.
“Roger that!” Devon said, as he and Ben raced over to their respective zords.
“I’ll go with too!” Spike said, as he zoomed over with them.
As they left, Megan was shocked at what the Zord was doing out there. “I don’t understand how this happened.” She said in calm shock.
“I understand. I don’t know how it happened either!” Fluttershy said, as she patted her on the arm.
“I don’t think any of us think it’s your fault either.” Rainbow said, trying to comfort her.
“The Storm King must have sent someone to brainwash the Zord.” Starlight said, pondering this situation. “But who?” Unbeknownst to all of them, the Mayor...or the Storm King was smiling triumphantly that his plan was going well.
In the Zord hangar, the Racer and Hydro zords were ready to be deployed. “In position!” Devon said, as he docked his Zord. “Okay, Cruise! Let’s do it!”
Ben docked his Zord too! “Let’s ride, Spike!” He said to the drake.
“You got it!” Spike said, giving Ben the thumbs up, as the zords deployed out into the open.
The Beast-X King Zord was already revving up fireballs at the two zords as they arrived. Right on time. “Looks like this will be interesting!” Devon said. “Cheetah mode!” The racer Zord morphed into cheetah mode, ready to take him on.
“Let’s go too!” Spike said urgently, as the Hydro Zord hovered over him.
“Let’s give that Zord a frog bath!” Ben said, as he activated it. “Frog mode!” The hydro Zord transformed into frog mode, ready to help Devon!
The two zords duked it out with the lion Zord, as they crashed into each other. The Beast-X King Zord rammed into the racer Zord and bit it on the ‘neck’.
“DEVON!” Ben and Spike shouted, as they fired their Hydro bombs. “Rapid blast!” The Hydro Zord fired mini versions of itself and fired on it, but the Zord flung them off like it was child’s play.
“This zord’s got attitude!” Devon said, as he and the Zord were flailing about in a game of tug of war.
“Let’s show that Zord that we got a Megazord with a lot of attitude!” Ben said, as he and Spike activated the combination code,
“You got that right!” Spike said. “BEAST-X HYDRO MEGAZORD...COMBINE!” The Racer, Hydro and Wheeler zords combined to form said Megazord, and it was ready to show this savage Zord a whole lot of attitude.
The Beast-X King Zord got ready to charge at them, and the heroes were ready as well. “Ready!” Spike called out, as the Megazord climbed on top of the lion, as if it were a bucking bronco!
The Megazord tried to keep its grip, as well as the heroes were. “Hold on!” Devon called out.
“This ride’s getting bumpy!” Cruise said.
“Ditto!” Ribbit said as well. They tried to hang on for dear life, but the savage Zord got a extra sprint of wind, which made the Megazord lose its grip as it fell to the ground.
“WHOA!” All 3 of them said, as they landed with a thud. The Beast-X King Zord was ready to charge at them again. They had to do something!
“Nate! Guys!” Devon contacted the others. “This zord’s not giving up! Can you regain control?”
Back at the base, the others were having the same problem as well. “I don’t know, guys.” Nate said. “But, we’re going to figure it out.”
“I don’t understand how this happened, Megan Darling.” Rarity said, worried. “Usually those zords are protected.”
“I know, Rarity.” Megan said, worried as well. “There was no virus before.”
“And the Zord was fine in all of your simulations too, Sugarcube.” Applejack agreed. “You couldn’t have added a virus to the Zord, because you were there when that purple glow enveloped it.”
Just then, Nate saw something on the screen, close-up at the zord. “Aha!” He said triumphantly.
“What is it, Bro?” Steel asked his brother.
Nate pulled up the footage on the screen, and zoomed it in. “Look at this!” He said, revealing the dart that brainwashed the Zord. “It’s footage from earlier. See anything?”
They all saw the footage unfold and were shocked upon seeing why it went bad. “What is that?” Megan asked in shock.
“That’s the virus being uploaded.” Nate said. “My guess is that Zord has had a visit from the Storm King’s crew. Which wouldn’t have been a problem if you had installed a firewall.” He turned to Megan who was shocked that it was directed at her.
“Don’t let your emotions cloud ya, Sugarcube.” Applejack tried to stop Nate. “I know there hasn’t been any firewalls on that Zord, but you can’t just go accusing anyone when you don’t have proof.”
“Especially if Megan wasn’t even there.” Pinkie agreed with her cousin.
“I...I...” Megan stammered.
“Okay!” Twilight tried to separate the two geniuses. “I feel like we should step back, take a deep breath, and think about what you’re saying before you even say it!”
“How would I even do that with someone who tried to sabotage Zoey’s job as my assistant?!” Nate started to shout.
They others jumped back in shock. “Ugh! Say it, don’t SPRAY it!” Spike said a little quickly.
“Just how could Megan have put you guys in trouble when she was in the base the whole time?” Fluttershy asked, with worry.
“Oh, wait.” Nate said, stressed. “Don't tell me you actually believe what she says, too?”
“That’s not important right now! We need to focus on resolving this.” Commander Shaw said. “Nate?”
“I might have an idea.” He said. “Ravi, Steel, Rainbow, Applejack, Pinkie, Fluttershy, Rarity! I need you out in the field.” They nodded, and dashed out of the lab. “Zoey, you help coordinate.” Zoey went to one of the computers.
“What can I do to help?” Megan asked him.
“Nothing.” Nate said to her defiantly. “I’ll fix this.” He left to go help the others.
“Zoey, wait!” Cozy said, as Zoey turned to the girl geniuses. “Here.” She handed Zoey the Beast-X King morpher, and Key. “You’ll need these.”
Zoey took them. “Thanks, you two.” She said, smiling at them, as she left the lab.
Meanwhile as the Hydro Megazord got back up, the Beast-X King Zord fired a beam from its mouth, making it stagger back. It further weakened the Zord, by jumping up and clawing it, making it stagger back even more. Devon, Ben and Spike were taking a huge beating, and weren’t sure if they could handle any more damage.
“We’re taking damage!” Cruise said in alarm.
“I don’t know how much longer we can hold out!” Ben said with worry.
Back at the base, The Mane six, Nate, Steel, Ravi, Starlight, Zoey and Cozy were gathering up some satellite dishes into the SUV. “Got it!” Steel said, as he gathered the stuff inside.
“Now, what?” Pinkie asked.
“Point the satellite dish at the Zord.” Nate told them. “It’ll beam new programming into the Zord system.”
The others nodded and were about to leave, when they heard a voice. “Zoey?” It was Megan. They all turned to her. Well, half of them did. The others finished loading the vehicle up.
“By the time you get there, we’ll have the new programming ready to go.” Nate continued to instruct them.
“Roger that.” Ravi said, as he revved up the car. “You guys coming?”
“We’ll catch up with you, Darling.” Rarity said.
“We’ll come get there as soon as we can!” Applejack said as well.
“Okay.” Ravi told them, as he took off to the scene of the Zord.
The others were about to leave too, as Zoey contacted Devon. “Devon! Spike! Ben!” She told them. “The others are on their way with the dish.”
“Copy!” Devon contacted them. “Fingers crossed.”
Just then, the ponies saw Megan alone and decided to stay and help her. “O-o-on second thought, m-m-maybe we’d better just stay here with Megan.” Fluttershy suggested to the others. “In case she needs us.” They all nodded in agreement.
“Good idea.” Pinkie answered. “She seems sad, and that makes me sad.”
"We can’t just leave Megan alone like this, especially since she helped create that Zord, right?" Rainbow asked.
“We sure can’t.” Applejack agreed. “Besides, what has she ever done to the others or us?”
“And we’ve always helped friends in need when they were in a pickle.” Rarity agreed as well. “Since when have we helped Nate in the past? Even if he doesn’t know he needs is right now?”
“We’ve got to help him realize that she can help!” Cozy piped up as well.
“No contest.” Starlight added as well.
As Nate and Zoey started to head back to the lab, Megan spoke up. “Please, Nate. I can help!” she said.
“Not now!” Nate said, still feeling defensive.
“Nate, Megan may have a plan that could help!” Cozy tried to reason.
“We can fix this very well on our own, Cozy.” Nate said, still gritting his teeth. “So, just leave us alone!” And he left.
“Zoey, please!” Megan said, as she stopped her. “I know what he’s planning, and it’s going to backfire. Cozy knows it too.”
Zoey scoffed. “How can we believe anything you or Cozy have to say if...”
“Zoey, I’m sorry for what I did back then!” Megan tried to tell her. “It was horrible.”
“Yes, it was.” Zoey said in agreement. “Very!”
“Besides, I’m sure you’ve worked things out by now.” Fluttershy tried to explain to her.
“It doesn’t matter!” Zoey shot back. “Megan blackmailed me because we were hanging out! And if She helped Cozy with whatever she did to help us, I’m not even sure if I can trust her either!”
“I know!” Megan said dejectedly. “I was too ambitious. I heard a lot of people trying to get ahead. I was so selfish, but just please believe that I’ve changed.”
Cozy flew up to Zoey as well. “The reason Megan agreed to help build that Zord was to show you she wanted to help the rangers. So that...maybe you could give her a second chance!” She started to tear up. “Please, Zoey! Her her out! She can help!”
“It’ll be worse if y’all don’t.” Applejack added, taking her hat off. “Twilight even had a grudge with Trixie even after she forgave her! She tried to hurt her...twice! She lied about vanquishing an Ursa Major when...”
“Wait...she stopped in Ursa Major?!” Zoey asked in shock.
“No...I did.” Twilight told her. “She made it up, just so she could show off and prove to everyone that she was brave, when she wasn’t. And, that wasn’t an Ursa Major. It was an Ursa Minor. Trust me. You don’t want to even know how big those are. Eventually, she came back, and banished my from Ponyville to prove herself that she was powerful. I tried to stop her, and my friends showed her that magic can show friendship to others. True, I did have a grudge with Trixie, even when Starlight made friends with her, but I let that subside, knowing that they were good with magic together and I gave her a second chance.”
Zoey thought about all this as Twilight told her about how she wanted to help, and started to have second thoughts. “Zoey, if you do this...” the alicorn told her, “...you’re only going to make things worse for yourself and Nate. Megan may be telling the truth about this plan. Can’t you just accept the fact that she’s trying to help?”
Zoey thought about what Twilight told her, and wondered if she was right. She knew Twilight wouldn’t lie, especially since Megan did have a point about this plan. But, with the new Zord trashing their friends, she had to take initiative and help Nate. “I understand the concern, Twilight. But, I need to go help Nate.” She said, as she started to leave.
“Zoey, Wait!” Cozy wailed. “We’re telling you his idea won’t work!”
“Listen to Cozy on this one!” Megan pleaded. But, Zoey was already gone. Now, Megan really was on her own, and she wasn’t sure if anyone would listen to her.
The others were shocked that Zoey and Nate would reject Megan’s help, and they knew that they couldn’t do this on their own. “Don’t they both know that this plan might not work?!” Rainbow asked in protest.
“We just have to make them realize that sometimes, things don’t go according to plan.” Twilight said in agreement.
“We have to stop them!” Starlight said.
“Before things get worse!” Rarity said as well.
“Come, on!” The others made a mad dash out of the hangar. “Don’t worry, Megan.” Rainbow said to her. “We’ll help them see the light...even if they don’t know it yet.”
Megan thought this was a bad idea, and that it would fail. But, she realized she was right. “Good luck.” She said to them. “I hope you know what you’re doing?”
Rainbow nodded as they dashed out, leaving Megan there. The hard part was over, and the burden was off of her. Now, it was all up to the Mane 6, Starlight and Cozy to make their ranger allies listen.
When we last left Trixie, she entered the portal to the rangers’ world, and arrived in a nearby woods. She was trying to find her friend, Starlight. So far, she couldn’t find her, but maybe she would have better luck on Earth.
“Starlight!” She called out as she arrived. “Your great and powerful sidekick is here!” She leaned her ear closer to see if she heard anything. No answer. Trixie got concerned. Usually, Starlight responds to her. “Where could she be?” she wondered.
She continued to search the woods far and wide for her. At that moment, she heard a really loud roar. Trixie gulped nervously. “What is that?!” she wondered. “I haven’t heard a loud roar for a long time! Unless...” The showmare suddenly had an awful thought. “An Ursa Minor?! It couldn’t be! I thought Twilight had vanquished them all!”
Trixie’s blood ran cold, and was now boarding on horrified. She heard the roar again and looked up to see the Beast-X King Zord going at it with the Beast-X Hydro Megazord! She was shocked and amazed to see the Power Rangers fight before her eyes for the first time! “Wow! The Power Rangers?!” she wondered in excitement. “Fighting a giant lion that looks like an Ursa Major?! That’s outstanding! Not even I could vanquish something like that, even if I tried.”
She watched the fight unfold and saw the lion spew out a fiery beam at the forest, making acres of trees burn. Trixie was scared as she saw this! “YOW!” she cried out. “HOT!” She decided to let the rangers deal with this massive lion. “I’ve got to get out of here!” she thought, as she made a mad dash out of the woods.
Meanwhile, Daring Do, herself was shocked upon seeing the Beast-X King Zord up close, and personal ravaging the land. Daring ran as quickly as her legs would carry her, until she managed to arrive at a safe spot in the woods where she wouldn’t be razed to death.
“What even IS that thing?!” Daring thought out loud. “Is that another one of Ahuizotl‘s goons? I never thought he’d go that big. She decided to find somewhere safe, and come up with a plan to stop that thing.
“This sounds to me like I’m way, way, way over my head.” She said out loud to herself. “I’m going to need a carefully thought out plan so I can face that overgrown cat again...” She ran so quickly that she didn’t even bother to see Trixie running in the opposite direction in front of her, as the two collided, and fell to to ground.
Daring rubbed her temples. “Ooh...my aching head.” She said groggy, as she got back up. “That’s going to feel sore later.” She then saw Trixie on the ground, trying to get up, and was startled as she grabbed her hat, and covered her with it, tackling her to the ground. Daring had her pinned, as she heard someone say. “Ow...” she said. Daring got off of her, and saw her gasping for breath.
“Honestly!” Trixie said, angrily as she dusted herself off. “Tackling Trixie recklessly...who DOES that?!”
“Wait a minute....” Daring said, as she got a clear look at her. “Are you a unicorn?”
“Yes, A great and Powerful unicorn to be exact.” She said weakly.
Daring gasped in shock, as she got a clear look at her. “I’m so sorry there, Ma’am!” She said apologetic.
“That’s alright.” Trixie said, as was now back up. “Although, it would be nice you didn’t call me ‘ma’am’”!
“Oh, then...who are you even?” The adventurer asked.
The showmare smirked. “Feast your eyes on the great and powerful Trrrrrrixie!” She introduced herself to Daring, as she let off a smoke bomb-like background. Daring coughed, as the smoke got in her mouth. “Sorry.” She said. “But, if you want, you can just call me ‘Trixie’.”
Daring finishing coughing and smiled as she saw her. “Nice to meet you, Trixie.” She said. “I’m Daring.” She shook her hoof. “Daring Do.”
“Charmed.” Trixie said, as she shook her hoof. “So, what we’re you running from...exactly?”
“I was just running away from one of Ahuizotl‘s goons.” Daring explained.
“Ahuizotl?!” Trixie asked, frightened. “Is he here?”
“Not exactly.” Daring said, calmly as she carefully pushed Trixie off of her. “It was very big, black and blue, and it even looked it had fire coming out of its mouth!”
“Fire coming out of its...” she realized something didn’t fit right with the description. “Wait...what do you mean, exactly?”
“It looked like a huge lion, and it was rampaging this way, and...” Daring said, when Trixie cut her off.
“I may have seen what looked like a huge Ursa Minor back there earlier!” She said in shock.
“An Ursa Minor?” Daring asked. “Here?”
“It appeared to be a huge lion, black and blue, and...” she was shocked, as she realized they both saw the same thing.
“You saw that thing too?!” Daring asked.
“Yes, I did.” The showmare responded. “And I thought it looked like it too, until it looked something that resembled a lion. I don’t think it’s an Ursa Minor, or one of Ahuizotl‘s goons. I think that’s a Zord!”
“A Zord?!” Daring asked, still in shock.
“From what I heard it’s one of the vehicles that the Power Rangers use to take on giant monsters.” Trixie continued to explain.
“The Power Rangers?!” The adventurer asked, still confused. “Who are they?”
“There a group of 5 heroic teenagers who defend our world from evil!” Trixie told her, now sounding brave.
“You mean...like the Power Ponies?” Daring asked.
“Yep. Only, they stand on two legs, and have arms and such.” Trixie told her. Daring was surprised at what she even told her.
“If that’s true, I got to find a way to stop that thing!” Daring said, as she started to head off. She stopped herself. “I can’t do it on my own.”
“Then, let Trixie help you!” She said, getting in front of her quickly. “As a great and powerful ally, I could be of some...assistance.” She smiled sheepishly.
“I. Work. Alone.” she said to her, before stopping for a moment. “Well...usually.”
“Usually?” Trixie asked.
“Well, not all the time.” She admitted. “Sometimes, I even have help from one of my huge fans, who is also an adventurer like I am. It’s Rainbow Dash.”
Trixie’s mouth was agape and was completely dumbstruck for a few moments, before regaining her bearings. “You’ve been on adventures with Rainbow Dash?!” She asked. “The Wonderbolt?!”
“Yeah.” Daring did a double take, as she heard the second sentence the showmare replied. “She’s a Wonderbolt?”
“Yeah...that’s what Twilight told me.” The showmare said, admittedly.
“Wow! I never knew any of this until now!” Daring was a combination of excited, and surprised at the same time as she heard what her friend said was true. “My work usually always involves secrets. And, you never know who you can trust.” She looked around, and then spit on her hoof. “Want to team up, and stop that mangy lion Zord?”
Trixie looked at the hoof, and spit on hers, and smiled. “You bet!” She said, as they both did a hoof bump.
“Let’s go!” Daring said, as the two darted to get to safer place...at least to come up with a plan for how to stop the new Zord.
Meanwhile, The Beast-X Hydro Megazord was still going at it with the Beast-X King Zord, as it used its Hydro Screws to take it out, just as Ravi and Steel had arrived.
Steel took a look at the zords, and was ready to start the plan. “I think this is close enough.” He said. Ravi nodded as they set the containers down, and got out the satellite blasters. “Let’s make this quick!” The beast bot said as he armed it.
Ravi had just finished typing in the coordinates to where they were, as Steel contacted Nate. “We’re in position!” He told him.
Nate and Zoey got the message. “Copy that, Steel.” Zoey answered. “The new programming signal is ready to sent out.” Nate was just about to send the signal to the Blue and Silver rangers. Zoey switched over to Devon. “Devon! We need a clear shot!”
The Beast-X Hydro Megazord was ready to have another go at it. “Roger that!” Devon said. At that moment, the Zord fired, and the Megazord got out of the way.
“It might not be easy!” Ben said, as they got the Zord back up, and the lion Zord was ready to charge again.
“We just need to hold it still!” Ribbit said urgently.
The Zord was coming right to them. “DEVON! Jump on!” Cruise shouted, and the Megazord jumped up, and landed on the zord’s back.
“What now?” Devon asked.
“Good question.” Spike said, as the Zord was trying to throw its occupants off.
“Hold on!” Cruise shouted, as the Megazord tried to grab on with all its might.
“Whoa, steady there, pardner!” Spike said, as they grabbed the Zord like a cowboy would, riding a horse. They pulled it back, and it landed safely. So far, so good.
“Quick! Here’s your chance!” Devon told Nate.
Nate just finished the data, and was ready to send it. “Sending Data now!” He said, as it was sent.
“Got it, Bro!” Steel said, as he fired it at the Zord. The blast was spot on as a blue glow enveloped the Zord, but unfortunately, it made Devon, and Ben’s Megazord fall off.
“Oof!” Spike said, as he got hit in the head. But, thankfully not too hard.
“I think we got him!” Ben said triumphantly. But just as the Megazord got back up, the Zord quickly changed into its battle mode, which shocked everyone!
“Did it...change modes?” Steel asked in shock. The Beast-X King Zord got its weapon ready and was ready to charge at the other Megazord.
“Uh, guys?” Spike asked in shock. “That Zord changed into battle mode! Was that supposed to happen?”
“I don’t think so, Spike!” Ribbit said in shock. And from the sound of it, it looked like the heroes were in for a rough ride.
Back at the base, Nate was shocked to see that the results of his plan failed. “No, no, NO!” He said in shock. “Instead of reprogramming the Zord, the signal triggered it to change into battle mode.” He gasped. “Megan gave it a battle mode!” He said in realization.
At that moment, the Mane Six, Cozy and Starlight rushed in and were shocked. “Oh, no!” Rainbow gasped. “We’re too late!”
Cozy groaned. “I KNEW that plan wouldn’t work!” She said, flustered.
“Glad you guys are here!” Nate said, as he turned to them. “I realized that Megan gave this Zord a battle mode.”
The ponies all groaned as Applejack hid her face in her hat, a few graced themselves, and Rainbow Dash facehoofed. “You’re telling us this JUST NOW?!” She asked, as if he were nuts.
Zoey contacted Ravi and Steel. “Ravi! Steel! Get back to base!” She told them. “We have to try something new!” She switched to Devon. “Devon, are you, Ben and Spike okay?”
“Yeah.” Devon said.
“But, we don’t know if we can hold it for long!” Ben said in shock.
“IT’S COMING STRAIGHT FOR US!” Spike screamed, as he pointed at the Zord which charged at the Megazord with its weapon. Luckily, it’s arms deflected the weapon, but the Zord whapped it in the chest! The 3 heroes were already taking a serious beating, and it looked like they couldn’t last out longer.
“Nate!” Devon said in alarm. “What do we do now?!”
“I’ll go get help!” Spike said, as he flew out of the Hydro Zord cockpit, and over to the base.
Back at the base, the rest of the heroes were shocked that their friends were taking a beating, and needed to help their friends. “I don’t how else to help, Devon!” He said, worriedly. “But, we’ll figure it out.” He closed his laptop, and paced around like a madman. “There must be a way to control that Zord!”
“Face it, Nate!” Rainbow said to him. “Your plan was a total bust! It failed!”
“Yeah!” Pinkie added. “Your plan deflated just like a bad balloon did.”
“I do have to agree with the others on this one, Nate.” Rarity said as well. “You just could’ve accepted another one’s help.”
“I appreciate the concern, guys.” Nate said. “But, right now we need another plan to try and control that Zord!”
“Megan said this wouldn’t work.” Zoey started.
“She tried to tell you...” Cozy started.
Nate turned around quickly at them. “Megan caused us problems to begin with!” Nate protested.
“Now, wait just a cotton-pickin’ minute!” Applejack tried to stop him.
“We all know you’re upset with her, as well as Zoey!” Fluttershy said, pointing to her. “No offence.”
“None taken.” Zoey admitted.
“But, she, and Cozy does know this Beast-X King Zord better than anypony else.” Starlight added, as Cozy nodded in agreement.
“It’s true.” The alicorn filly said, “She helped me deploy it when we were fighting Evox.”
Nate’s jaw dropped when he heard what Cozy said. For some unknown reason, anger started to build up inside him. He just couldn't believe that Megan helped assist Cozy with the Zord in the past. Finally, Nate’s blood boiled, and had finally reached its critical point, as he finally spoke out.
"Are you kidding me?!" Nate yelled, which caught the attention of everyone in the room. "You and Megan both knew about this? You could’ve gotten us in big trouble! I thought you knew better than this!”
“Nate, Darling!” Rarity sputtered out. “Please try to understand that she never did anything to Devon, Ravi and Steel, she certainly did nothing for us, or even Cozy. And she, helped send her out to help us. Uh, how can I say this tactfully...?” She thought about what to say next. “You've been out of it.”
“You don’t understand!” Nate said, now defensive again. “She blackmailed me and Zoey! She tried to get us both in trouble, by showing the commander about our movie date.”
“But, all she wanted was a chance to help you guys out, now!” Fluttershy said, as she started crying. “I can see that’s messed up, too.”
“I hate to say this, but, well... you've become...!” Pinkie said, before saying in hushed shock. “A party pooper!”
“That doesn’t matter!” Nate snapped at her. “I couldn’t trust her after what she did, and I don’t think I can trust Cozy either! She’s probably working secretly for Megan after using that Zord against Evox! That was your plan, wasn’t it?!” He tapped her not too hard on the head, so that she would understand. “You were going to keep the big reveal a secret, so I couldn’t find out the truth about who really made it!”
"B-but it was for good intentions," Cozy whimpered as her eyes formed tears.
"Good intentions or not, that doesn't change the fact about what you did with Megan, and how she helped you, and Mayor Daniels into building the Zord." He said sternly. "What you did was so deceitful! That is the exact opposite of what a friend would do!" Cozy couldn't take it anymore as she teared up pretty huge, and started to cry.
“What in the world has gotten into you?!” The alicorn filly asked, as got upset. “I thought you were my friend! But, I guess I was wrong! If all you care about is your plan, your team, and only your safety and your team’s except her’s, ignoring other people’s advice even when it’s crucial, THEN YOU CLEARLY DON’T KNOW ME AT ALL!” She cried and flew out of the room in sadness.
"Cozy, wait!" Starlight said as she galloped after Cozy. The Mane Six, and Zoey were shocked as they talked almost each other. Nobody liked how Nate yelled at Cozy, or how he treated Megan, even if she was trying to help.
Nate turned to the others. “Well, I hope you've learned something from all of this.” he told them.
“What?” Rainbow asked, a little miffed.
“Maybe if you've been sticking to my plan like you were supposed to, none of this would've happened.” Nate said to them seriously.
Rainbow felt like she had enough as she responded by punching Nate hard in the face, as he almost fell had he not grabbed onto the edge of the table. Everyone else cried in shock as they grabbed Rainbow, trying to hold her back.
“Rainbow Dash, what are you doing?!” Nate asked in pure shock and anger as he got up.
“What's your problem?!” Rainbow shouted. “This has nothing to do with work! Megan just wanted to help!”
“And look where it got her!” Nate said, angrily. “Your friend over there is only going to get you into trouble!” He pointed to where Cozy left as he said that.
“Pfft! Yeah right!” Rainbow said harshly. “Take advice from Nate about friends, since you've got soooo many of 'em.”
“I have friends.” Nate calmly stated.
“No, you don't.” The wonderbolt said, as she went through her friends. “Everyone only hangs out with you because you're the Gold Ranger!”
“What does that have to do with anything?!” Nate said to her. “You saw what Megan did! She tried to get Zoey and I in trouble, and gave us more than enough problems from the start! She blackmailed Zoey!” He pointed to her as he said that, which made Zoey feel a little shocked, and a little sorry for Cozy.
“Nate, please try to understand...” Zoey tried to explain. “Cozy wasn’t like Megan. She didn’t blackmail us, and she did go against her schoolmates, but she reformed and joined our side.”
Twilight marched up to him. “I agree with Zoey. She didn’t mean to...” she said before she was interrupted.
"Don't think you can lecture me as if you had a part in this!" Nate shouted while pointing an accusatory finger at Twilight. This caused Twilight and her friends to gasp in response. "Megan built that Zord, and didn’t install a firewall! That shows she clearly hasn’t learned her lesson at all! I thought you knew better than to trust her! I don’t care if she was trying to help! She clearly has NO place, whatsoever in these walls! And YOU were all followers of her, and didn’t listen to MY plan...”
“STOP!” Rainbow yelled in rage to him. “This is ridiculous! Nate, you are being too stubborn, as to shut out Megan, and our friend!” Nate was now shocked, as he started to step back. “This is exactly why we told you not to ignore Megan and listen to us for a change! This is just... too much! Even for Cozy!”
“Rainbow, I know Megan meant well.” Nate said, frightened, but calm. “But, she didn’t protect the Zord from the virus, which made the Storm King try to destroy us. I know how hard this is for you, but...”
“I'm tired of it!” Rainbow said, as she slapped Nate’s hand back. “We’ve had enough of you being so proud of your own plans, that you wouldn’t even go out of your way to listen to the one ex-employee that was trying to help you fix the zord’s control! Megan only wanted to try to help. She doesn't deserve to be cast out because of it.” She started to leave the lab.
“Where are you going?!” Nate asked.
“To find Megan, and Cozy.” Rainbow answered harshly.
“Why?!” He asked.
“Because, I’m choosing to help out Cozy to help control the Zord, and I would never back out of a friend in need. And, that’s what friends do for each other!” Rainbow said as she left. and slammed the door, mad.
Nate was shocked upon seeing his friend leave in a fit of rage. He then turned to see Twilight, Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie, Fluttershy and Zoey who were all mad with him about the way he treated Cozy, Megan and even themselves. They had looks that were ready to kill as they were about to let loose the vicious rant, they set out for their friend.
Applejack threw her hat down in anger to let him have it. “Corsarn it, Nate!” She shouted. “Y’all wanna know why she was helping Mayor Daniels, and General Burke create the Zord? Because ever since she came here, all she wanted to do was to contribute to our arsenal. She hasn’t been ‘blackmailing us,’ and she never did! She’s been wanting to help us!”
“You can’t believe that!” Nate scoffed. “It’s the ambition talking. Do you think it’s a coincidence that she would help us as soon as you all disagreed with me?”
“Of course it was!” Fluttershy shouted. “Because concidences happen! Did you see her blackmail Devon, Ravi, Steel, Ben, or us any other time?”
“No, but after she—“ he tried to say.
“And she decided to try to be your assistant that one time,” Rarity continued, ignoring his comments, “...because she found out that she knows a lot about your arsenal inside and out than any of us combined, so that she could add her know-how to your experiments.”
“Megan wouldn’t—!” Nate started again. “If she wanted that, I would’ve-“ he tried to say, his conviction draining.
“And if she hasn’t been on the best behavior with your friends, or us if that need be,” Twilight stomped her hoof, “It’s because with us being so busy, she’s had to make all the decisions about the tech at Battleforce, while we were always out, fighting tronics!”
They all glared at him, daring him to move. “She’s been completely stressed out!” Pinkie shouted, with Fluttershy’s stare boring into the genius. “It’s important to her that the Beast-X King Zord is perfect! Something we, and the rest of the staff, including our friends would have loved! And that obviously wasn’t important to you!”
“I agree that the others are right on this one!” Zoey said, as well. “I mean, if you are just going to be proud, and not listen to what any of us, Cozy or Megan have to say, then why should we listen to you? You could’ve put your feelings aside to listen to her, but I can see that’s been messed up too, because you were too focused in your pride to even accept that!”
“You’ve really hurt our feelings, and crossed the line, Nate!” Applejack said, to him very angry. “That's not how you get things done around here, and especially not how we treat our friends!”
Nate just stood still with his jaws agape in horror. He had never seen his friends that mad at him before. "But, I just wanted to..." He started as tears welled up in his eyes.
“Now if you’ll excuse us...” Rarity said, ignoring him and walking past the doors of the lab. “We have friends to comfort. And you can forget about helping us trying to control the zord. In fact, if I were you, I wouldn’t even come near us, Megan or Cozy at all!” As soon as Rarity left, the others followed suit, giving angry glares at Nate and not wanting to talk to him, or even see him.
Twilight started to leave too. "Twilight, I was–" Nate tried to say.
"You have a lot to think about!" Twilight said in an icy tone as she walked past him and left, leaving only the sole Gold ranger in the room with unfinished built ranger weapons, glass cases with morphers, and complete sections of arsenal, and a cluttered lab table.
Nate just stood where he was as tears streamed down from his face. He couldn't take it anymore, as he cried and ran out of the lab, and into a nearby room. He cried his eyes out, falling into a depression. His actions were what pushed Cozy and Megan away from the team, and it might as well push the rest of the ponies and the rangers away from Nate as well! The damage was probably too great for him.
“I could have gained a new zord to add to our arsenal someday, but instead…I just lost a friend!" Nate thought out loud, as he sobbed so hard, that he couldn't bear to move on from this painful moment. "WHY?!" He felt like his heart dropped out of his body and onto the ground, where it was stomped on. How could he ever make up for this?? He cried alone and felt like, for the first time in his life, he had failed friendship.

And, that's all for this chapter! Daring & Trixie have met, and are teaming up to take down the Beast-X King Zord! But, Nate got scolded by his friends, and his friendship with Cozy shattered! What will he do now? Can the Rangers and Ponies tame this wild zord? Will Daring and Trixie save them in time? Part 3: Brawl Of The Wild
Nate Silva was alone in the room that Steel used to collect evidence of the Storm King returning, crying. He couldn't believe it. The worst thing possible had happened to him: He was cast out, and abandoned by his own friends, all because he had a lack of trust for their teammate, Cozy Glow. He thought she had allied herself with Megan since she deployed the zord for Cozy's safety, but he was wrong. Somehow, Cozy went there, herself to save her friends, and the zords from Evox in their last big battle.
He was a little upset that she blackmailed him, and Zoey one time, but she really had changed. Nate didn't believe it. His friends did, and they turned on him for not trusting her OR Cozy's plans for taming the zord. The words he’d last heard from Twilight echoed in his head when they all scolded him for casting Cozy out, and made them not trust him: “You have a lot to think about.”
Nate realized he really did have a lot to think about. How could he have put security of Grid Battleforce over the trust of his own friends and allies? How could he not believe Megan or Cozy Glow? He’d trusted that young alicorn filly since their battle with BellTron, because of her realization that Earth and Equestria are very important in the universe. Now…would Cozy Glow even want to be his friend anymore, much less his teammate and ally?
"Why did I have to do it?" Nate thought. "Why did I have to ignore, Megan or Cozy all because we were trying to get the zord under control? Why did I have to feel so stupid, as to ignore the suggestions and safety?" Devon, Ben and their zords would be destroyed, The Storm King would win, his friends and teammates would never even speak to him again, all because of that zord being under the enemy's control. It was all his fault.
As he cried, Spike heard his voice as he flew in the lab and saw his friend in a sad state. "Nate," A familiar voice is heard. Nate looked up from his hands, and froze as he saw him. His eyes were red, bloodshot, and tired from all that crying.
"Spike, what...I thought I told you to help Devon and Ben out with the megazord." Nate said to him in surprise.
"I flew out of the zord, and decided to get help." He said. "What are you up to?"
"Nothing, nothing!" Nate said, as soon as he started to crying.
Spike looked worried, seeing a sad look on Nate's face. Something was not right here...
"Okay." He said in disbelief. "Oh, and by the way, I found this note on the front desk earlier." He gave him the letter, and he read it to himself.
Dear Nate."
"We are really hurt at how you treated Megan and I earlier and we would like you to come see us when you have calmed down a bit. It's hard to believe that you could go from being our friend to enemy in just one day. We all hope that you can try to forgive our friends, as well as trust yourself. We'll be ready to talk to you when you are ready."
"Yours Truly, Cozy Glow"
He saw Spike frowning at him disappointingly. "Alright Nate, what screw up did you do this time?" he asked with hs arms crossed.
Nate sighed. There was no way out. "I shut Megan and Cozy out when I had a plan to reprogram the Beast-X King Zord, and jumped to conclusions about thinking Cozy Glow blackmailing me."
"Nate, why would do such a thing?" Spike asked.
"Because I figured Megan would try to sabotage our system again, and I thought she and Cozy were doing wrong to us."
Spike hopped on his lab table and sat down, "Nate, just because someone knows about something you don't doesn't mean they're automatically evil about it, and that especially doesn't mean that you need to jump to conclusions about the zord being sabotaged. I'm actually quite surprised at you."
The genius stuttered and stammered trying to find words to defend himself, but the feelings of guilt and shame were creeping upon him. “I was just trying to look out for Grid Battleforce, and our friend's future here.”
Spike sighed, “Nate, you've helped us a lot of times with zords, weapons, and tech, and you're a great ranger and a friend. But, you’ve forgotten one important thing any good ranger would do… and that’s to listen!"
Now, Nate felt awful, and couldn’t excuse himself anymore, for not even bothering to hear the Megan or Cozy out, and Spike was right. He DID know his friends better than that.
"If I know one thing, it's that learning never stops, and friendship is one thing that is never to end in learning about." The dragon continued to tell him. "I know that Megan gave you a lot of bad blood, but Cozy never did! She reformed, because you guys helped her realize how important the universe really is! She and Megan both know this Beast-X King Zord 10 times better than anyone or anypony combined. Maybe, it's time for you to put your feelings aside and actually focus on accepting their help."
Nate quickly pondered the quick talk and, realized Spike was onto something. He decided that it was time to set things right, "You're right Spike, I should go and take care of this right now! I owe Megan and Cozy Glow an apology!" He was about to leave the lab. "Make sure Devon and Ben are okay!" he said walking out and closing the doors.
Spike sighed with exasperation. "And here, I thought Twilight and Starlight were the masters of freak-out." He thought out loud to himself.
Nate ran into the hallway of the base, trying to find both Megan and Cozy. "Megan! Cozy!" He called out. He heard no sound. He decided to keep searching for them, when he heard the voice of someone crying. He put his ear to the sound, and quickly identified it as a little kid's voice. “Wh-why does he hate me so much?” the kid's voice sobbed. “We used to be good f-friends.”
“Shhh, it’s okay,” the other voice soothed, which sounded like an adult girl's voice. “Nate doesn’t hate you, sweetie. He’s just a little…overwrought, that’s all.”
Nate instantly knew who those two voices belonged to. "Bingo!" he thought as he went to the two voices.
Inside the zord hangar, Cozy was crying to Megan about he hated her, and that they used to be good friends. Megan was trying to soothe her, telling her that Nate was just a little stressed about today.
“Overwrought is complaining about the c-color of the flowers in my m-mane, or the length of Rarity's h-hemline,” Cozy choked. “He’s going to r-ruin the z-zord!” Her sobs became muffled, no doubt as Megan pulled her close and let her cry into her arms. Or maybe it was her chest. Maybe they were hugging. Loving couples hugged. So did best friends, didn’t they?
“No, he won’t,” Megan said more firmly. “I won’t let him.”
At that moment, Nate entered the hangar and saw her embracing Cozy Glow, who was indeed crying. He had to make things right with them. The time to do it was now!
"Hey, Megan." He said, as he entered. "Hey, Cozy." He put his hand on the filly's shoulder. Cozy saw his hand on her, and got angry as she slapped it away.
"Don't touch me!" She snapped.
"I need your help." Nate started.
"Why don't you ask the commander for help?" Cozy said harshly, as Megan saw and gave him a death glare.
"It's my fault!" Nate confessed. "If I would have accepted both your help on this zord, none of this would have happened."
"That still doesn't give you the right to treat me like garbage!" Cozy yelled, as she pointed to him furiously. "You owe me an apology!"
"I know I do." Nate said regretfully. "...and I'm sorry."
"A real apology." Cozy said to him, not once looking at her friend.
"I'm sorry. I really am...sorry!" Nate said sadly as he sobbed and screamed at the same time. "I WANT YOU TO COME BACK!!!!" He sobbed into Megan's arm, as well as Cozy's mane. "I miss you...as my friend!"
"OK, quit being a baby." Cozy said, as she carefully pulled herself away from Megan's tight hug, and Nate's sobbing. She then flew up to Nate, and punched him in the arm.
"Ahh!" Nate said, as he switched to anger. "Why?!"
Cozy gave him an icy stare, and them smiled sweetly at him, as she booped him. "That's for not giving up on me." she said. Nate looked defiant at her, but them smiled.
He turned to Megan. "Do you forgive me, too?" he asked, calm but sad.
Megan thought about it, and got back up. "I do forgive you as well." she said. "It sucked for me when I was totally ignored, It's going to suck even worse if that zord remains untamed."
Nate sighed. "You're right." he said, as they left the hangar. “But, we have a new problem. Zoey said that you two both are the only ones able to help. So, I tried reprogramming the Beast-X King Zord system remotely, but it went into battle mode.”
Cozy and Megan both gasped in shock, as they both knew what they were up against. “We were afraid that would happen.” Megan said, worriedly. “The incoming signal activated an auto-defence mechanism I designed.”
Nate was surprised that they told them that. He didn’t know that installed that into the Zord. “Wow!” He said in surprise. “That’s a pretty clever feature...but, how do we get around it?”
“The only way to reprogram the Zord is to physically attach to the Zord, the way the Storm King attached that dart.” Cozy told him seriously. “Do you have anything that could shoot the new programming into the Zord?”
Nate got an idea. “I’ve been working on something new that might just work!” He said in exclamation excitedly. “Come on!” They all made a beeline for the lab, and saw an arrow, which it already had gorilla and jackrabbit DNA imprinted on it. “This is a prototype of the Ultra Bow.” He told them.
“I see that you’ve put both jackrabbit, and gorilla DNA into it.” Cozy said, as she inspected the fine piece of weaponry. “We’ll need to upload lion DNA too, so that it can be compatible.” Nate nodded, just as Ravi, Steel and Zoey came in the room.
“You’re right. Thanks.” Nate said.
“So, you finally decided to put your feelings aside, and trust both Cozy and Megan again.” Zoey asked. Nate nodded.
“And, you’re working together, and you’re back to being friends again.” Ravi asked.
“Affirmative.” Nate answered. “It’s a long story about what happened earlier, but we’re all now on the same side.” He picked up a blank arrow. “Step 1: We need to get the programming into the arrow.”
Cozy, Megan, Zoey, Ravi and Steel looked at each other, and nodded. “Let’s do it.” Megan said, as they started to get to work on a brand-new weapon!
Meanwhile, The Beast-X Hydro Megazord was taking a tough beating with the Beast-X King Zord, and it was ready to finish it off, as it charged.
Devon, and Ben were ready too, as they got the Megazord to charge at it. “Come on!” They both shouted, as the Megazord advanced toward it. They traded blow for blow, the zord’s attacks were evenly matched. Neither Zord could get into each other’s defenses. As they were fighting, the Morph-X level on the Zords was dropping rapidly.
“Hey, guys?” Ben asked. “We’re running low on Morph-X here!”
Back at the base, Nate put in the dart in the Ultra Bow. “It’s almost done, guys!” Zoey contacted them. “It’s shouldn’t be long.”
The team was ready to begin the new weapon transformation. “Start the sequence!” Nate said.
Megan nodded, as she turned to Cozy. “Care to do the honours, Cozy?” She asked.
“I thought you’d never ask!” She said, as she hit a button. “Initiating Lion DNA Morph!” She shouted, as the Lioj DNA surged through the Bow, making it change shape. When it finished, the bow now had a lion head on it, as well as its DNA imprinted into it.
The hero’s unplugged it from the cables. “Phenomenal!” Nate said excitedly. “It’s now the Beast-X King Ultra Bow!”
“Amazing!” Steel said, as he got his brother’s attention. “It’s time for the Mane event...with the lion!”
They all started to leave, as Nate turned back to Megan. “Hey, Megan! Great work!” He thanked her. “And, I’m not just saying that. You too, Cozy!”
The girl geniuses smiled. “Thanks.” Megan said.
“Aw, it was nothing!” Cozy said, mockingly.
“Now, go.” Megan said. Nate smiled, as he left the base.
“Come on, Cozy!” He called out.
“I’m on my way!” The filly said, as she flew out and followed him.
As they left, Nate contacted the Mane Six, and Starlight on his wristcom. “Guys, I need you to meet and Cozy over there!” He said urgently.
They arrived at the Pine Ridge woods, just as the Mane Six arrived. "Hey, Cozy!" Rainbow said, as they saw her and the others, including Nate. "Nate?" The ponies all scowled at him.
"What are y'all doing here?" Applejack asked, angrily. "Haven't we made it clear that we don't want you here?!"
"I'll explain later..." Nate told them, as he pointed to the two megazords. "Look!"
They all saw the megazords fighting each other, and everyone was shocked. "Oh, man!" Rainbow said, surprised!
The heroes all knew what they needed to do! "We've got one shot at this!" Cozy said in alert! At that moment, Robo-Blaze, Robo-Roxy and Tempest arrived with an army of tronics, blocking their way!
"Huh?!" They asked as they saw them.
"Blaze and Roxy?" Fluttershy asked in shock.
"We destroyed you, Avatars!" Rainbow snarled at them.
"Wrong, Rainbow Crash!" Robo-Roxy sneered at her. "That was the old 'Roxy'!"
"And, this time..." Robo-Blaze said to them. "We're brand spanking new!"
"Tempest?!" Twilight asked in shock. "I thought I reformed you!"
"Well, Twilight..." Tempest said, as she smiled evilly. "I'm back, and in with the...wrong crowd, or the right one...depending on how you look at it!"
Ravi turned to Nate. "We'll take care of them!" he told him. "You take the shot!" Nate nodded, and left the scene as the remaining heroes went for the tronics, and Robo Generals.
Blaze, Roxy, and Tempest were ready too. "Let's go!" Robo-Roxy said, as they charged toward them.
Steel, and Rainbow punched a few tronics in the gut, just as Robo-Blaze punched Steel in the gut. "Ahh!" He said, as he backed away. "Watch it!" Robo-Blaze just smirked as he tried to go for them. However, the Wonderbolt and Beast Bot threw strong punches, making him stagger back! He tried to go for them again, only to be punched back again. Steel retaliated with a kick, and Rainbow contributed by flipping him over. Robo-Blaze was furious, as he was ready to charge at them again!
Zoey, and Robo-Roxy both clashed as the latter dodged Zoey's punches, and tried to push back. The violet-suited robot tried to punch her, but Zoey dodged her. "ZOEY!" Rarity shouted. Zoey turned, and got out of the way, as Rarity, Starlight, and Twilight blasted her back. They regrouped, and were ready for another go with her!
Ravi was taking on a few tronics, as he pushed them back with a foam sign. Applejack, and Fluttershy both helped with the cowgirl, kicking a few of them down the ground, and the other using her tail to whip them down easily!
Tempest was coming for him as well! Ravi threw the foam sign at one tronics, and went for Tempest. She tried to blast him, but Ravi dodged her blasts, and kicked her to the ground. But, she got back up, and was ready for more!
Elsewhere, not too far from the fight the rangers and ponies were in, Daring Do and Trixie arrived at a dense area in the woods as they heard a few muffled sounds in the woods. "What was that?" Daring asked, as she and Trixie arrived at a safe spot.
Trixie put her ear closer, and heard it too. "Sounds like it came from over there!" She pointed to the area.
"Alright, then. We gotta get to that zord, and shut it down before it does any more damage to the forest!" The Adventurer said bravely.
"Sounds good to me!" Trixie said gallantly. "And if things get weird for you, just let me know. I've got your flank."
"Is that a promise?" Daring asked, confused.
"Not just a promise." the showmare answered boldly. "A great and powerful promise!" She threw down one of her smoke bombs, which went off. The two tried to cough it out, as the smoke cleared.
"Well, I couldn't ask for more than that." Daring said, as she waved her hat like a fan to get rid of the smoke, before turning to Trixie. "If we're gonna do this, let's do it." They were about to turn, when they were face-to-face with a cluster of tronics. She, and Trixie were shocked upon seeing the foot-soldiers corner, and surround them.
"Tronics!" Trixie groaned. "Why did it have to be Tronics?" She whispered to Daring. "What are we going to do, Daring?"
Daring scanned the area for an opening, and smiled. "I've got an idea!" she said bravely as she jumped over the small group of Tronics. "Follow me!"
Trixie followed suit, as the other tronics followed them, squishing the first cluster. The two ran as fast as they could as the tronics chased them. They both stopped in shock as they saw themselves at the edge of a cliff. They looked back to see them on their tails.
"What do we do now?" Trixie asked, scared.
"This is the part where you 'got my flank!'" Daring said, as she jumped up, and caught a vine. "Grab on, Trixie!" She called out!
Trixie was nervous as she saw the cliff, and the tronics heading toward her. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and jumped up, and literally caught her by the flanks, as she was lifted into the air, holding onto Daring.
The Tronics stopped, and bumped into each other, making them fall off the cliff! Daring saw them fall off, and laughed heroically. Trixie saw them fall off and laughed like she did...only more maniacally. "We did it!" she shouted happily.
"Yeah, we did, 'Great and Powerful Assistant!" Daring said, smiling sweetly at her, as Trixie blushed. They eventually landed on the other side of the cliff, and were safe.
"Phew!" Trixie said, as she wiped her forehead off. "That was close!"
"Yeah. It was." Daring said, as she did the same too. They heard some fighting to turned to see the Beast-X Hydro Megazord going at it with the Beast-X King Zord. The two were surprised as they saw this.
“What are those things?” Daring asked, as she saw how big, and immense they were. “They look like the size of skyscrapers!”
“Those are Megazords!” Trixie whispered to her.
Daring quickly understood. “We gotta get to that Zord!” She whispered urgently. Trixie nodded, and were about to go to that Zord, when they saw the rangers fighting, along with the ponies. Daring got a good look at one in particular. A cyan Pegasus with a rainbow mane and tail. Daring was shocked to see her here!
Trixie was shocked too, as she got a good look at who else was fighting. It was a lilac colored unicorn with a purple/teal mane. “Is that...Starlight?” She asked.
“And...Rainbow Dash?” The adventurer asked as well.
“It appears that way.” Trixie told her. “What robot, or robotrons are they fighting now?”
“Looks like they could use a hand!” Daring said, as she and Trixie went to the scene of the battle. “Come on!”
Meanwhile, Nate and Cozy arrived at the fight of the two Megazords as well. It was time to put their plan into motion!
Nate contacted Devon. “Devon, Ben, we need a clear shot.” Nate told him. “Just for a second!”
The rangers got the call loud and clear. “Say no more!” Devon acknowledged.
“We’re on it!” Ben said. “Let’s try a high-powered punch!”
“Redirecting Morph-X!” Ribbit and Cruise both said, as they redirected the energy over to them, and got the Zord ready,
“Here it comes, Guys!” Devon said, as they got ready.
Nate and Cozy both got ready as they aimed their weapons at the Zord. At the same time, the Beast-X Hydro Megazord and Beast-X King Zord were both about to punch each other. “HI-YAH!” They both shouted, as the two Zords performed a super powerful punch!
“You’re up!” Devon called out.
It was time for Nate and Cozy to take the shot. “POWER BOLT!” Nate shouted, as he fired the arrow, and Cozy shot out a beam of magic at the Zord, making it enveloped in blue light. The Zord backed away from the Megazord, as it’s eyes flashed red.
“Disengage!” Ben shouted as the Hydro and Wheeler zords disengaged from the Racer Zord, leaving Devon on his own.
“Come on....come on!” Nate said with worry.
“You can do it!” Cozy cheered.
“Something’s happening!” Devon said in shock. And it was true: Something was happening! The Zord transformed into lion mode, and roared out, as the red glow broke from him, making it free of the Storm King’s control!
“Oh, Yes!” Nate and Cozy shouted in victory as their plan worked.
“Whoo hoo!” Devon cheered. “It worked!”
“Oh yeah!” Ben cheered as well.
“Yes!” Zoey shouted, as she was fighting Robo-Roxy.
“Yeah!” Ravi shouted, as kicked a few tronics in the gut.
“AWESOME!” Rainbow squealed in excitement.
“YEE HAH!” Applejack cheered, as she removed her cowgirl hat.
“Alright, Nate!” Twilight shouted, as Rarity cheered in a happy yell.
“Yay!” Fluttershy cheered.
“WHOO HOO! GO NATE!” Pinkie said, as she whipped out her party cannon, and fired a huge ball of confetti.
“You did it!” Starlight said in victory.
“Oh, they did it!” Megan said in relief and victory.
Commander Shaw was proud of this victory, and so was General Burke. “You all did it.” The commander said, smiling.
“Excellent work, wouldn’t you say, Mayor?” General Burke asked Mayor Daniels, as he got a sour look and left the lab.
The commander contacted Devon. “Devon, Ben, Take the Beast-X King Zord back to its hangar. Then, you can help the others.”
“Copy that, Commander!” Devon said. The Zord roared to Devon, and he wasn’t sure what he wanted it to do.
“He wants us to get on!” Cruise said.
“Alright. If he says so!” Devon said. The racer Zord hopped on the Beast-X King Zord, and grabbed on to it’s ‘cycle handles’, as it revved up. “Thataboy!” Devon said, as he was ready to ride off into the sunset.
Back to the rangers as they were fighting the tronics army. The Robo Genrals and Tempest were ready to fight, as they and the tronics surrounded them, as the heroes regrouped.
“You deal with the red ranger!” Tempest told Robo-Blaze. “Roxy and I can handle this!”
Blaze nodded. “I’ll take him down with a surprise gigadrone from Grubber.” He said, as he got out his key and teleported to his Zord.
Robo-Roxy got out her key, and morphed into her Robo Ranger form, ready to fight. “There’s no way out, Rangers!” She said to them.
However, they had to differ! “We’ll just see about that!” Rainbow said, as they all nodded.
“IT’S MORPHIN’ TIME!” Nate shouted. But before they could morph, a tan and discorded rainbow blur came and wiped out a few tronics.
"What?!" Robo-Roxy asked, as she and Tempest tried to figure out who was taking their foot soldiers out.
"Who's doing this?!" Tempest asked in rage. At that moment, she and Robo-Roxy were both knocked down to the ground, as the blur took out a good batch of the tronics.
"That's as close as you'll come, you metalheads!" a heroic voice shouted. The others didn't know who said that, and were curious.
However, Rainbow Dash heard that voice, and remembered it. "Wait...I KNOW that voice!" She said in realization, as the blur flew up, and touched the ground, revealing to them a tan pegasus with a discolored rainbow mane, wearing a safari jacket, and hat as well. Rainbow instantly recognized the figure standing before them as her number one literary idol, and adventurer: Daring Do!
Rainbow gasped in shock upon seeing her here. "Ohmygoshohmygoshohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh!" She said.
"Did you think I'd forget a face?" Daring said, smiling at her. She clunked a tronic on the head and regrouped with them.
“Haven’t you forgotten that we tend to work alone?” Rainbow asked her jokingly.
“Have you forgotten that I’m lucky I don’t?” The adventurer asked, as she smiled at her, and the others. She saw the Tronics advancing toward them. “Now, it's morphin' time!" She said, as the heroes nodded and activated their morphers.
"ACTIVATE BEAST POWERS!" They all shouted, as they morphed into their ranger forms.
"You guys ready?" Rainbow asked everyone as the others nodded.
"Oh, yeah! Always!" Daring said, as she and the heroes were ready to duke it out with the villains.
Steel kicked a few tronics in the gut while, Rarity, Twilight and Starlight blasted a few, making them disintegrate!
Fluttershy even swiftly kicked Tempest to the ground, as she tried to blast her, but to no avail.
Nate kicked a few as well, and used the new Ultra Bow to strike a few down in an instant!
Daring, Rainbow, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie swiftly kicked a few tronics to the ground, while Pinkie and Applejack bucked a few down, and the two speedy Pegasus flew up to strike them.
At that moment, a red Anubis looking Zord had deployed RIGHT in front of the Racer and King zords. Devon took notice at what he saw. “Uh, oh! Here comes trouble!”He said in shock, as he saw what he was up against. Blaze’s Megazord was back!
“HA HA!” Robo-Blaze cackled evilly before Devon, and Ben. “Remember my Zord? There's NOTHING you can destroy that Grubber can't rebuild!”
“Blaze’s Zord is back?!” Ben asked in shock. “I thought we defeated that thing!”
“Looks like this battle’s not over, yet!” Devon as said as their zords got ready!
“But, we’re almost out of Morph-X!” Cruise alerted him.
“Then, we gotta move!” Devon said, as he revved up the racer, and king zords, making them advance to the evil Zord.
Robo-Blaze was ready to make his move! “Say cheese!” He called out, as his Zord fired red beams from its ‘hands’ at the zords.
“Oh, no!” Devon shouted as the zords tried to dodge it.
“Take evasive action!” Ben shouted.
Blaze cackled. “How about we heat things up?” He asked, as his Zord fired beams at them, covering them in a cloud of fire. It looked like the zords were seemingly hit, but they emerged from the fire cloud, unscathed, and the Beast-X King Zord has already transformed into cycle mode, as they zoomed toward Robo-Blaze.
“You missed, Partner!” Ben shouted, as they zoomed for round 2 of this hideous Zord Beast!
Meanwhile, the heroes were still taking down the Tronics, Robo-Roxy and Tempest, as Zoey and Cozy both kicked her down, while Cozy fired at her. Applejack and Starlight both kicked Tempest down to the ground too.
The two evil girl generals tumbled down, and regrouped as they got up in anger. “NO!” They both shouted.
Nate was about to do the final count on them, when a magic bean from out of nowhere appeared, and whizzed by him. “WHOA!” He said in shock. “Guys! Look out!”
They all took notice, and dodged the myriad of magic blasts, that hit the tronics, and sent the girl generals down. “AHHH!” Tempest shouted, as she was hit hard. She got back up, and rubbed her cheek in pain. Robo-Roxy got up, and furious to find out who did that to her.
“THAT’S IT!” Robo-Roxy said, as she aimed her blasters at the magic blast. “Prepare to die, you little sh—!” She was cut off, when a blue blur zoomed right toward her and punched her and Tempest in the face, sending them both down to the ground!
“SHOOOT!” Tempest shouted in shock and rage, trying to recover from the attack.
“Now’s your chance!” Daring said, pointing to the two villains.
Nate seized this chance to get out the Beast-X King Ultra Bow. “You got it!” He said, as Cozy came right by his side. “BEAST-X KING POWER BOLT!” He and Cozy both shouted as their combined blasts, and the mystery magic blast hit Tempest, making her stagger back, and Robo-Roxy exploded in an instant!
“ROXY!” Tempest shouted, as she saw the heroes before her, and she knew she was outnumbered. She growled. “You got lucky this time!” She said, as she teleported away. “But, I’ll be back!”
“Phenomenal!” Nate said in excitement. “Robo-Roxy’s toast!”
“Bullseye!” Steel said as the others came right over to him.
“Wait...” Rainbow said as she and Daring were both in shock. “Blaze and Roxy are...ROBOTS?!”
“No way!” Daring said in shock as well.
“Yeah, they made robot clones of the original avatars!” Nate answered them.
“This...changes...everything!” Rainbow said in shock, horror and excitement all at the same time.
“It sure does!” Nate said. “Thanks for helping us!”
“Thanks, but I can’t take all the credit. I had help with that magic blast.” Daring told them.
Just then, a blue unicorn with a silver crescent mane ran out of the bushes, and met up with them. “Pretty good show, wouldn’t you say, Glim Glam?” She asked smugly.
Starlight instantly knew who the unicorn was and was shocked. “Trixie?!” She asked. “You were helping Daring take on Roxy and Tempest the whole time?”
“Well, of course it was me.” Trixie answered. “You didn’t think it was Discord, did you?”
“Uh, no?” Starlight answered, giggling nervously.
“And if it was Discord, wouldn’t he have given an arm and a leg to thank for it?” Steel asked, jokingly as the others all laughed.
“Yeah.” Rainbow finished laughing.
The three Zords were coming right at the evil Zord, ready to strike. “Our turn!” Devon said.
“Let’s hit him with it!” Ben said, as the racer Zord on the cycle and Hydro Zord revved up. They lifted their zords high up, as the Zord was ready to fire again!
“Rapid blast!” Ben shouted, as he launched a few hydro bombs at it, while the two other zords together hit it with a cool wheel punch. This weakened the evil Zord.
“No!” Robo-Blaze shouted, as his Zord fell down to the ground. The three good zords, however, landed safely as the King Zord changed to lion mode.
“Now, that’s wild!” Ben said in excitement. However, Blaze’s Zord got back up, and from the looks of it, he wasn’t done yet!
The others on the ground all looked up, and saw the Racer Zord, and Beast-X King Zord fighting Blaze’s Zord. She was shocked, and knew what she had to do! “Devon’s in trouble!” She said in alarm.
“Let’s go!” Cozy said, as she and Dash flew up to the Beast-X King Zord’s cockpit to help their friend.
“Blaze isn’t finished, but we’re out of Morph-X!” Cruise said urgently.
Devon realized the Racer Zord was out of energy, and couldn’t finish the evil Zord off. He had to switch zords! “Then that means I’ll have to finish him with the Beast-X King Zord!” Devon told his beast bot.
“You won’t have to!” A voice called out.
“What?!” Devon wasn’t sure as to who said that. But then, he saw two familiar Pegasi entering the other Zord.
“Don’t worry, Devon! We’ll take care of it for you!” Rainbow said, bravely.
“What...RAINBOW?!?!” Devon said in shock, and a little bit of fury.
“Everything’s under control!” Cozy told him from the Zord. She diverted her attention to the evil amber-suited robot. “We meet again, Blaze!” She told him grimly.
Robo-Blaze heard that voice and instantly recognized who he was dealing with now! “So we do, Cozy?” He asked smugly. “Let’s see if you can handle my Zord again!” His Zord got ready to fire at the King Zord.
Cozy was ready as she turned to Rainbow. “Let’s show him who the real king of the jungle is!” She said to her.
“Roger!” Rainbow said, as activated the transformation code.
“BEAST-X KING ZORD...BATTLE MODE!” The two fliers shouted, as the lion Zord changed shape, and morphed into battle. They were ready!
Blaze’s Zord was back up, and ready to fight, just as the King Zord was ready to charge. “You should’ve known when to give up, Blaze!” Rainbow shouted.
Devon and Cruise were watching the fight unfold before their eyes, and were excited. “Get them, Dash and Cozy!” Devon shouted in excitement as the Zord used its staff to strike at the evil Zord.
“Let’s crank things up!” Cozy shouted, as the blue and navy Zord used its staff to slash it harder, and Blaze’s Zord as taking a real beating from the good side.
“BEAST-X KING FULL BLAZE!” Cozy shouted, as the lion-faced shield fired a beam of fire at Blaze’s Zord. This attack weakened the evil Zord again, as it staggered back, and was knocked down.
The two felt like it was time to give him the final count. “All right, Dash!” Cozy said. “Let’s finish this!” Dash nodded, as they brought the Zord up to full power. “Alright! System’s at full power!” Blaze’s Zord got back up.
“Let’s do this!” Rainbow shouted, as the Zord performed its finisher! “BEAST-X KING IMPACT!” The Beast-X King Zord’s staff glowed light blue as it slashed in an “X” formation, sending Blaze’s Zord down and out for the count.
“No!” Robo-Blaze shouted. “Curse you, Power Rangers! And you too, Daring Do! You will pay for this!” The Zord exploded once again, as he and his Zord were no more...for now.
“You did it!” Ben called out from his Hydro Zord.
“You’re an idiot, Dash!” Devon said in relief. “But, I’m glad you’re an idiot!”
“Yes!” The others shouted as they all cheered for their friends in victory.
“All right, Rainbow!” Daring shouted, as the Zord posed in victory.
“We did it, Rainbow!” Cozy said, as she hugged her so hard with happiness.
“You bet we did!” Rainbow said as she returned the hug. “Robo-Blaze eliminated!” She shouted in triumph. The heroes jumped out of their zords, and met up with the others on ground.
“That was awesome how you two handled that Zord!” Devon said in excitement.
“And the way you slashed Blaze’s Zord?” Ben told them. “Genius!”
Rainbow and Cozy both blushed as they smiled. “It was nothing!” Rainbow said, as Cozy nodded.
They ran into the others, as Daring ran up to the two fliers and hugged them. “You did it!” She said happily as she hugged them tightly.
Rainbow and Cozy both felt like they had no choice but to return the hug as well. “We couldn’t have done it without you, Daring.” Rainbow said contentedly.
“Whoa, hold on. What?” Devon asked, as they broke the hug and he saw the Rainbow Dash lookalike. “Alright, ‘Tan Rainbow Dash’, who are you and what are you doing here?”
Rainbow flew up to her, and put a wing over her. “Guys, this is my friend, Daring Do!” She told them. “She’s my idol, and a good adventurer.” Daring blushed as she smiled.
“Wait...you know this pony?” Ben asked.
“Yeah.” Daring told them. “I’ve known her since she and I found the Ring of Destiny. Since then, she and I have gone on a few adventures occasionally. We stopped villains similar to what you faced. Ahuizotl, Dr. Cabelleron, and even countless swamp beasts. You name it!” She smiled. “She and I are good pals.”
“Twilight told me about her adventures when I was in the hospital one time.” Rainbow told them. “Did you know she also secretly famous author, A.K. Yearling?” Everyone gasped in shock and excitement, and Daring was surprised at that.
“Wait, this adventurer is also an author?” Ravi asked.
“Phenomenal!” Steel added. “I never knew anyone who is a hero, and an author!”
“You’re friends with a book author who is secretly Daring Do?” Cozy asked in shock. “That is so awesome!”
“Dash, you promised you wouldn’t tell them that.” Daring said, as she gritted her teeth.
“Sorry.” Her friend confessed.
Daring smiled. “It’s alright.” She said. “And, it’s great and exciting that I am finally meeting the Power Rangers! I mean...you go on adventures with them almost every day?”
“Pretty much.” Pinkie told her.
“Wow!” Daring said, dreamily. “I wish I could go on adventures with those guys!”
“And Daring here is a lot like me!” Dash said to them. “Adventurous, fierce, and undeniably, unquestionably, unstoppable!”
Daring giggled. “Yeah, I am!” She said. “And, I see you’ve already met Trixie.” She pointed to her as she unleashed a few illusional tricks through her cape.
“Of course, we’ve heard about her.” Nate said. “Great and Powerful, right?”
Trixie blushed a little bit. “Just Trixie will do.” She said, as she shook the Ranger’s hands.
“Well, I gotta say this was one of the most exciting adventures we ever had today!” Devon said.
“You bet!” Rainbow said. “You won’t believe what I have to tell you guys when we get back to base!” She flew up. “Let’s go!”
The others decided to follow her back to the base. “I bet this was one of the most powerful adventures you were ever on!” Trixie said happily.
“I agree. We’ll come too. Trixie and I sure would like to know more about Grid Battleforce.” Daring added.
“Sure thing.” Devon said. “Let’s head back.”
“We can’t wait to tell you what’s been going on!” Starlight said, as the heroes all enjoyed a nice walk back to base, where a nice victory celebration would be well in order.

That’s it for this chapter! The Beast-X King Zord has been tamed, and reformed! Daring Do and Trixie arrived to help out our heroes! Nate has rekindled his friendship with Cozy and Megan and they’re back on track! Robo-Blaze and Roxy have been defeated for now, and Tempest has retreated! They’ll be back to fight another day! Now, with their King Zord added to their arsenal, will the bad blood be cooled down? Find out in the epilogue, coming up next!

Epilogue: Reconciliation
“No way!” Twilight said in shock, after hearing what Rainbow Dash told them about the new robot Blaze and Roxy. “They made robots of Blaze and Roxy?”
“That's creepy.” Spike said in agreement with what they were told.
“I know that this may come as a shock to you, but even we were shocked too when we found out.” Starlight told them. The others all nodded.
“I can’t believe that Blaze and Roxy are back as robots!” Twilight said, feeling a combination of shock and sadness.
“I know!” Rainbow said. “I didn’t know that would even happen! I didn’t know he’d build them!”
“Well, I don't think that’s so complicated with them evil are as they are two buckets of nuts and bolts walking around in human form.” Pinkie piped up them.
“Well, at least we now know what we’re up against.” Twilight said, as she took in a deep breath. “Looks, like we have a new enemy to face.”
“That’s true.” Steel told them. “You guys also may have the Storm King to fight with us, but one thing’s for sure!”
“We got this...together!” Cozy said, booping Twilight on the nose, as she and the others all hugged her.
Twilight smiled for the first time in forever. “Yeah, we do.” She said to them, and the rangers. “Whatever happens happens. We all got this!” They all cheered as Twilight said that bravely.
“Phenomenal!” Nate said, proudly. “We do got this.”
“Speaking of...” Daring said, as she lifted the virus-laced dart, showing it everyone. “We found this. It could probably be what was used to control the Beast-X King Zord from the outside.”
Ravi took it and examined it. “So, this is the Storm King’s dart...” he said. “What a nasty bit of work. We’d better dispose of that thing carefully.” He placed the dart on a lab table nearby.
“We’re just glad the Beast-X King Zord’s back on our side.” Devon told Megan happily.
“And now, our chances of taking down the Storm King have just improved like never before!” Cozy said.
“Just remember, whenever you need it, use the Beast-X King Zord key, and Morpher to summon it.” Megan told them, as she handed the arsenal to Devon, and the others.
“We’ll take good care of it, Megan.” Fluttershy said, as she smiled.
“See to it that you all do.” Megan said to them, as they all nodded.
“Speaking of...I owe Grid Battleforce, and all of you an apology.” General Burke said to them solemnly. “We should never have done this without your help.”
“That’s alright, General!” Rainbow said, patting him on the shoulder. “Even us heroes can make a mistake every now, and then!”
General Burke nodded. “It won’t happen again.” He said.
“Lucky for us, we had a top-rate engineer building that Zord.” Nate said, as he turned to Megan. “Without her, today would have been very different.” He smiled at her.
“So now, y’all are finally on the same page with her?” Applejack asked in relief.
“Affirmative.” Nate said to her as he looked at Megan. “She’s on our side, now.” They both hugged, as the others smiled warmly.
“You have made a difficult decision, Nate.” Rarity said to him boldly. “And I speak for all of us when I say...that we believe it was the correct one.” She looked at the others as she said that, and they all smiled.
“We’re glad to be working with you again, Megan.” Commander Shaw said, proud and calm.
“Thanks, everyone.” Megan said to her, and the others in the room. “...for giving me, and more importantly Cozy Glow...a second chance.”
“It really means a lot.” Cozy said happily.
“You all worked hard.” Zoey said, smiling at them. “You earned it.”
“Even though we all saved the world...” Trixie said. “I’d say the real heroes today are Cozy and Megan, for helping us supply a new Zord to the Power Rangers arsenal.” Everyone all called their hands, or hooves to celebrate.
“Welcome back, Cozy Glow.” Nate said, as he hugged her tightly.
“Nice!” Rainbow said, as she pulled in the rangers, and ponies for a group hug. They hugged for about 30 seconds, before breaking the hug.
Just then, the doors swing open as Betty came in. “Hey, Dad! Bro!” She said chirper. “Your camera is all fixed.” She said, as she handed the camera over to the General.
“Actually, Betty, could we take a rain check on that video?” Ben asked. “We had a big day with taking the Beast-X King Zord, that we would like to put that video to rest.”
“Alright.” Betty said, understanding.
“And with all that’s happened today, I don’t even think we need to see that video!” Twilight said, as she winked at the others, who winked back.
“No problem!” Betty said. “I can take a hint.” She saw the lab table was cluttered. “Ew. This place is a mess!”
“Maybe, I could help you?” Trixie asked her kindly.
“Sure, Trixie.” Betty said. “Thanks.”
“No problem!” The showmare said, as noticed the dart on the table. She picked it up with her magic. “I say this lab needs a bit of redecorating. This dart instantly screams bad luck all over it!” She aimed for the garbage can, but missed as it hit Steel’s legs.
“NO!” Nate shouted in horror, as it hit his ‘iron brother’s’ legs. The others screamed in shock as well.
The glow enveloped Steel’s legs as they started to move like crazy. “My leg!” He shouted. “Whoa! It’s going wild!”
“OOPS! SORRY, STEEL!” Trixie screamed as she rushed over to him.
“Get it off!” Steel said as he hopped on a movable automin lab table. “Legs, detach!” His appendages did so, and started to dance around the room. “Now, somebody grab them!”
Everyone was shocked, and horrified as Steel’s legs jumped on tables in the lab. “We got them!” Ben said, as he and Betty tried to go after his legs.
“Hey, get back here!” Steel shouted, shaking his fist as his legs jumped to a different table, and kicked various test tubes and Vials off. “Oh. Not on the tables!” The legs jumped off the table, and into the ground. “Leave Nate’s vials alone!” He said.
At that moment, Steel’s rogue legs left the room wildly. “Please, somebody!” Steel shouted urgently. Ben, and Betty wheeled Steel on the rolling automin, and out of the lab, to go after his missing appendages. “Hey, where are you going?! Get back here!” Steel called out as they chased them. “Naughty legs!”
Everyone all followed him out of the room, and watched in shock as Steel and the Burkes were going after the missing legs. “Stop those legs!”
Starlight was horrified that the beast bot’s legs ran off. “Steel, NOOO!!” She cried, as her eyes welled up with tears.
Trixie let out a teeny tiny giggle, and Starlight immediately turned to her from worry to rage, as she growled at her. The showmare’s eyes widened upon seeing her like this. “Oops. I guess throwing that dart away wasn’t such a hot idea after all.” She said, nervously as she started to dash out. Starlight was so mad at her, that she chased after her, growling.
“I’LL GET YOU, AND I’LL EAT YOU ALIVE!” She erupted furiously as she fired a myriad of beams at her as the showmare ran in fear.
“I’M TELLING YOU, I’VE LEARNED THE LESSON AFTER I THREW YOUR PLANT IN THE TRASH!” Trixie screamed in fear as her friend was chasing her like an angry hornet. “I’M SORRY!!!”
“COME BACK HERE, YOU CARELESS, BLUE FREAK!!!” Starlight roared, as her friend shrieked in agony of being blasted to a bloody pulp, while the Burke’s were going after Steel’s legs.
Twilight and Daring saw the whole chase and giggled a little bit at this, while the others did as well. “Going after Magic...Starlight’s crazy!” Ravi said, as he giggled.
“Yeah!” Rainbow said, as she got out some popcorn. “Crazy like a fox!”
“Oh, Trixie!” Twilight said sarcastically, rolling her eyes, as she, Daring, and the others laughed to see their friend chasing her friend like a madman, while Steel was going after his runaway legs. It was a great day for our heroes as they managed to get the Beast-X King Zord back under their control, and repaired their friendship with Cozy Glow and Megan. Their mission was accomplished.
Except for Steel’s legs running wildly about...and Trixie being chased by Starlight angrily, because she threw the virus dart at Steel’s legs, which started this catastrophe.

And, that’s a wrap for this latest Power Rangers Beast Morphers X My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic crossover story! The Beast-X King Zord tamed, Nate’s friendship with Cozy repaired, and Megan back as a Grid Battleforce employee. All’s well that ends well, right? Well, except for Steel’s legs being on the run, and Trixie being chased by Starlight at the end. I guess the GAP unicorn hasn’t completely learned her lesson after throwing Phyllis in the garbage, has she? I just hope Starlight doesn’t beat her to a bloody pulp! :)

Controlatron: "Controlatron is ready to get this puppet show going! Who do I get to play with?"
Nate: “A hand puppet? It kind of looks like...”
Steel: “Hey, what are you doing?!”
Controlatron: “He’ll do whatever I tell him to! Just like a good little puppet!”

Betty: “Devon! Ben! I think I saw Nate behind the base!”
Ben: “Really? Thanks!”
Devon: “We’ll check outside!”
...
Fluttershy: “DEVON! BEN! BEHIND YOU!”
Devon: “That robotron is messing with you! You gotta snap out of it!“
Nate: “QUIET! No one tells me what to do!”
Ben: “Those puppets are what’s controlling him!”
Fluttershy: “Nate! Snap out of it! The Storm King has done something to you!”
Nate: “It’s coming back! STRIKER SABER...BUTTERFLY SLASH!”
Devon and Ben: “Nate!”
Fluttershy: “Nate! You’re back!”

Nate: “Just a little dizzy. It’s good to be back!”
In the Crystal Dimension, a dark, jet black hedgehog with a gray mane...Grubber...was busy typing up the malware and lacing it to an orange, storm-virus-laced dart. He hummed while uploading the formula into the dart. “And...upload!” He said, as the virus went inside the dart.
He raced to it, and saw that is was glowing pink! He smiled evilly at himself, and wished that The Storm King, Tempest, Robo-Blaze and Roxy, or Vargoyle were here to see this. “Oh, what would anyone do without me?” He asked himself.
At that moment, The Storm King, himself came in. “Grubber!” He called out.
“Oh!” Grubber turned to see him enter. “Just in time!” He said, gleefully. “The dart is prepared to your specifications!” He showed him the dart.
The Storm King saw the dart, and was rather pleased. “Excellent news! Every part of my plan has worked perfectly!” He said proudly. “First, we needed Nate!”
He opened the box, and saw the puppet. “A hand puppet?” He asked. “It kind of looks like...” but, the puppet had already gone into him, and he was now being controlled!
“Controlatron’s puppet took care of that!” The Storm master continued. “And, he was brought here! With a little mind control, he had no choice but to write some very special malware for my secret project!”
”And Volia!" Controlatron said, as Nate has finished up typing the programming needed for the secret weapon.
”The programming is complete." Nate droned mindlessly, as the two evil generals smiled.
“Yes! That was genius, boss!” Grubber said excitedly, as he raced to get the dart just as Robo-Blaze, Robo-Roxy & Tempest Shadow came in. “Now, you can use his malware!”
“Good!” The Storm King said, as he took the dart. “It will hack into the rangers’ new and powerful weapon that Evox has ever seen, as soon as the dart touches it!”
“Ooh, I like the sound of that.” Robo-Roxy said, as she saw the dart being held out for them to see.
“What new weapon?” Robo-Blaze asked curiously.
“You’ll find out soon!” The Storm King said, as he handed them the dart. “And, you three will help make it happen!”
“Exciting...” Tempest said, as she ogled at the new dart that Grubber had made especially for this new plan. “The rangers are not gonna keep us from hacking that weapon!”
“Please.” Grubber said, confidently. “With a plan like this, how far could a little group of rangers get on their own?”
Tempest smiled at that. “Exactly, Grubber!” She said in agreement as she turned to the Robo-Generals. “Let’s go!” They nodded as they went to the prime dimension to execute their plan.
“...then, their weapon will be mine!” The Storm King finished saying as he laughed evilly. He transformed into the alias of Devon’s dad, Mayor Daniels, and teleported for his target...Grid Battleforce! His plan was all set in motion, and it looked like no one could stop him!
