Starlight was in her room yawning and she felt very tired until she heard a knock on the door.

“Starlight can I come in?” Spike asked hesitantly.

Starlight opened the door allowing the dragon to enter and he revealed a letter in his claws.

“What’s this?” Starlight asked curiously.

“Oh it’s a secret admirer they asked me to give it to you.” Spike explained happily looking over Starlight’s shoulder.

Dear Starlight Glimmer

I am just so peeved with you right now, I mean why do you chase after that Sunburst idiot when you could have me instead.

Did you seriously forget how he hurt you I mean he caused you to make a village for Celestia’s sake, I mean why would you ever want to date him.

I know he’s not a bad guy though, he is a pretty nice stallion who just made a stupid mistake.

Although he has come and told me he feels a bit unnerved by you and that he’s not interested so I’m sorry you two will probably never date.

Back to why I’m mad with you is because despite me trying to make my presence known you never notice me, you hardly even recognize I’m there and it just makes me sad.

I still love you though, like how you care about your friends, your quirks and your mane style looks just so good.

So I hope one day you notice me and we can be together but for now I will just give you these notes.

From Your Secret Admirer

“Woah I have a secret admirer I mean wow it’s not every day you get somepony who loves you.” Starlight blushes.

“Yeah also I know who it is but I’m sworn to secrecy.” Spike explains.

“That’s fine Spike, I know a spell that can duplicate a letter and then I can send them to my friends and they’ll respond so I’ll know who it is.” Starlight explains.

“Woah woah are you sure that’s a good idea?” Spike asked in bewilderment.

“What choice do I have? They aren’t gonna reveal themselves if I ask, plus with this method I will be able to narrow it down.” Starlight explains.

“Okay I’m gonna go do the dishes you enjoy your little plot.” Spike says walking off.

Dear someone

I have no idea why you’d wanna date me due to my rough past, but hey I’m flattered, if you’d like to write a letter revealing yourself please do because I like to know who my dates are before I go on one if you catch my drift.

So I believe I’ve noticed you and if I haven’t well I’m really sorry and I’ll try to do better at noticing.

About the Sunburst thing I have no crush on him whatsoever I mean I love the guy but like a friend y’know what I’m saying. Also I don’t appreciate you blaming him for what I did by MY choice.

So I hope all is well with you and please don’t hesitate to write.

After Starlight wrote the letter she used a duplication spell and sent it to all of her friends.
