Showing His Place: Sacrifice - The Bad Ending
NOTE: This story is a commissioned AU ending to Sacrifice, and will contain much darker themes than the original story. This is purely a "What If" ending to the story, and not meant to be a canon outcome to the story's events. Reader Discretion is strongly advised.
At the end of Showing His Place: Sacrifice, it seemed that Sombra had achieved all the power and control he would want. Not only did he manage to overthrow Shining Armor in numerous ways -- including the successful emasculation of the former Prince -- but he was able to get away with his actions completely, and live his life as a pardoned stallion without any responsibilities.
However... there was always a risk that despite Sombra's assurances, he could've easily re-claimed the Crystal Empire if he wished. Sure, the main story emphasized a different outlook on Sombra's goals, but what if all those claims were purely false? What would've happened if Sombra really did want to take his spot as the King once more, and was merely waiting for the perfect opportunity to claim the Crystal Empire from his cuckold? How easily could he do such a thing, and ensure that the transfer would happen as effortlessly as possible? And moreso, how would Shining Armor react when he learned the truth too late himself?
