A prideful veteran of the Lunar Uprising finds herself taken prisoner of war in short order when changelings invade Equestria. Instead of being the defiant hero she wished to be, she gives in to despair and abuse, turned into the opposite of what she stood for. When she is saved from the nightmarish prison camp, it comes at the cost of her dignity and loyalty to Princess and Country. But surely, it is better to live a slave than die a patriot, right?
