The origin of the kaleidoscopes dates back to the age of Starswirl the Bearded. Only Mage Meadowbrook knows the exact story of their creation, and how they were used to fight one of the most important battles.
But ponykind never changes, and history is bound to happen again.
The question is, will everypony be able to withstand it?

This is my first ever story written in english. In fact, the title is quite a joke on one of the most beginner english sentences.
The prologue was written for the Quills and Sofas’ speedwriting psychedelic contest.
