Birds are singing... Flowers are blooming... One days like this... Kids like you... Should be celebrating their birthday!! That’s right, it’s that time of the year! It is now Austin’s birthday today and everypony is getting everything prepared at the Canterlot Castle throne room before the birthday boy ruins the surprise. The Main 6, the princesses, Shining Armor, The CMC, The Young Six, Ember, Thorax, Starlight, and Tempest were finishing up the decorations, before Spike came running in the room. “He’s on his way right now!!” Spiked yelled. The ponies then shifted to maximum speed to get the decorations done. On the other side of the castle, Austin and Wingdings were walking out of Celestia’s bedroom, dressed in his black outfit with the white shirt behind the black buttoned shirt, with his black pants and with his sneakers. Wingdings just wore his black lab coat, like normal. “Why don’t you change clothes instead of using your lab coat?” Austin asked Wingdings. “Well it’s kinda hard when I’m made up of magic and shadows.” Wingdings said to Austin. “We’ll have you tried to use your magic to create a pair of new clothes?” “Hmm... I haven’t thought of that.” Wingdings used some dark magic and placed it on his clothing. It then changed into the same suit as Austin wore. “Huh it looks like it worked.” Wingdings said. “Yeah and you look good without having that coat on.” Austin smiled. “I guess your right little buddy.” Wingdings ruffled up Austin’s hair a bit. “Come on let’s go!” Austin’s said as he speed walked. “Woah slow down kiddo, your going to trip!” “Hehe sorry... I got a bit excited.” Austin scratched the back of his head, embarrassed. “It’s alright. Let’s go but not run and fall.” “Okay!” The two got to the doors to the throne room. Austin went to open the doors, but Wingdings stopped him. “Hang on now!” Wingdings said. “What’s wrong?” Austin asked. “Uhhh... just wanted to make sure you look good and yep you look great!” “... okay?” Austin opened the throne room and it is pitch black. The only thing the two can see was their eyes glowing in the dark. They walked in a bit more before stopping. “Huh... everything is dark.” Austin said. “It is.” Wingdings said. “Should we be concerned?” The lights flickered and everypony stood around the two. “HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUSTIN!!!” Everypony yelled in unison. Austin gasped. “Awww thank you everyone!! You sure gave me an surprised.” Austin said as everypony came to Austin to give him a hug. “We wanted to make your first birthday here a good one dear.” Celestia said softly. “Well this is certainly a surprise with all of you all here.” Austin looked around the room and saw many of his pony friends. The main 6, Starlight, Tempest, Spike, Cadance, Shining Armor, Flurry Heart, The CMC, Ember, Thorax and The Young Six were present. “Wow, everyone is here. I’m very touched.” Austin said with a tear in one eye. “Oh course, we wouldn’t miss it for the world.” Cadance said as she wiped the tear off of Austin’s eye with her wing. “Hehe... it feels like yesterday I just arrived here and was feeling scared, confused and not confident with myself... but now with my new friends, I got my confidence back and I’m not afraid anymore.” “And you made us very happy that you came in our lives.” Luna said happily. “Yeah! Now can we start the party now.” Pinkie Pie eagerly said. “Yes my pink friend, the party can start now.” Celestia nodded. “YAY!!!” Pinkie jumped happily up and down, confetti exploding behind her. The party now started, everypony chatted, fillies playing, everyone having the time of their lives. Austin was playing with the cutie mark crusaders and Wingdings was with Celestia. Wingdings and Celestia looked as Austin was playing. “He’s growing up fast.” Wingdings said to Celestia. “He is, but hopefully he will stay the happy and caring child we know.” Celestia said happily. “Well humans can change their behaviors, but I know Austin will be happy... because he has an amazing mother to keep him happy.” “Oh... Wingdings I’m very flattered, but you also been the best brother you can be.” Celestia blushed a bit. “Hey what about me?” Luna said with a humph. “I haven’t forgotten you too. You two have been so caring ever since...” Wingdings lowered his head. “Yeah... but it looks like he moved on from them and is now happy, but I feel like he still holds on those feelings.” Celestia said. “He may need those feelings to keep him going. After what he’s been through, from Earth and Equestria, he will hold on his parents energy to keep going, for them.” “Couldn’t said it any better,” Celestia said happily. “Should we give the birthday boy his cake?” “Yeah, they been playing for a bit after they eaten their supper.” “Okay. Let’s get them together and let’s have some cake.” “Okay!” Wingdings and Luna said in unison. The three went over to the others that the cake will be prepared. “Okay everypony, the cake will be served soon, so let’s go to the tables and sing the happy birthday song when the cake comes out.” Celestia said happily. “Ugh... the birthday song is lame.” Gallus grumbled. Smolder bumped his side with an unimpressed face. “Not on his birthday dude.” “...Fine.” The group went to the tables to wait for the cake. A unicorn pony took the cake out of the kitchen and placed it on the tables. The cake was three layers, the first layer was green frosting, the second layer was black frosting and the third layer was yellow. Candles were placed on the third layer on the cake. “Hey Wings, the frosting looks like us. Me with the green because I have green eyes, black for you and yellow for... momma Celestia?” Austin looked at the third layer with a head tilt. “That is actually your soul color when you gained your confidence.” Celestia said lightly. “Really?? I thought it was you or momma Luna if the other side was dark blue.” “Nope, we made it yellow for your soul because it was your goal to fix your soul.” Luna said happily. “Aww thank you everyone. It was a big achievement for me.” “No problem dear, now let’s sing the birthday song.” Celestia said. Everypony started to sing the birthday song. Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday dear Austin, Happy birthday to you! “Blow out your candles dear.” Celestia said lightly. Austin then blew out all of the candles in one blow. Celestia took a knife and started to cut the cake. She gave the first piece to Austin and then the rest of them. The piece that Austin got was a yellow piece. It looked like it was cinnamon, Austin took a bite of it and he tasted the cinnamon. “Hmm it’s soft and delicious. Thank you!” Austin said happily. “Your welcome dear, but it was our chefs that made the cake for you.” Celestia said lightly. “Well tell them that they did wonderfully.” Wingdings said. “I will.” Celestia said. As everyone was finished eating the cake, every pony gathered in a circle with their gifts and Austin was in the center of the circle. “Which gift will you open first?” Celestia asked Austin. “I’m not sure, theirs so many gifts here to pick first.” Austin said, looking at the gifts. “Here dear you can take mine first if you want. Flurry Heart and I made something for you.” Cadance said softly. Austin took Cadance’s gift first. It was wrapped in pink wrapping paper. Austin ripped the wrapping paper and looked inside the box. Inside the box was a drawing of a stick figure that looks like Austin. Austin saw some text on the top. What it said was... “Happy 10th birthday uncle Austin!” - love princess Cadance and Flurry Heart. Austin also saw another object in their. It’s a cardboard heart. In one sides it’s says “Never give up on your dreams!” “Awww I love this! Thank you Cadance and Flurry Heart.” Austin said as he hugged Cadance and Flurry Heart. “No problem sweetie. I made the heart and text and Flurry Heart made the stick figure. “Wait why didn’t Shining Armor sign this?” Austin asked curiously. “Me and Cadance made a competition to see who’s gift is better.” Shining Armor said. “Oh that’s always fun to do some competition.” Austin smiled. “OHH ME NEXT!!!” Pinkie Pie excitedly said. “Oh okay Pinkie Pie.” Austin giggled at her excitement. Pinkie Pie gave her gift to Austin. The gift was a bit big compared to the other gifts. Austin started to rip the wrapping paper and when he opened the gift, confetti flew out of the box, which made Austin jump a bit. When he got the confetti off of his face, he saw a confetti cannon. “Is this your cannon Pinkie?” Austin said curiously. “Nope!! I made it by hoof, trying to make exactly as my cannon. It took me a while to make, but it’s worth it for my Austin Wustin.” Pinkie Pie petted his head. “Aww that’s sweet. You didn’t need to make me one if it took you a while to make.” “Nonsense, you need all the fun you can have and this always make me have fun all day!” Pinkie Pie jump up and down excitedly. “Thank you Pinkie.” Austin smiled. “Your welcome Austin Wustin!” Pinkie smiled too. The two hugged for a few seconds before they stopped the hugging. “Hey Austin, wanna open my next?” Tempest asked Austin. “Of course!” Austin said happily. Tempest gave her present to Austin. The wrapping paper looked dark purple. Austin started to unwrap the gift and opened the box. He looked in the box and saw clothing, but metal like. “This is body armor that I made from my old armor to fit you.” “Woah, this is cool!” Austin said in awe. “Can I try it on?” “Yeah, It’s your gift after all.” Tempest said happily. Austin put the chest plate on and it fit snug on him. He placed the leggings on and it was a bit like shorts then leggings, but they fitted on him nicely. “Ohh this is so cool! Thank you Tempest.” Austin said as he hugged Tempest. “Aww no problem bud.” Tempest returned the hug. “Open ours next!” The CMC said in unison. “Okay.” Austin said. The three gave him their gifts. One looked to be a scooter and the two looked like regular boxes. Austin opened the scooter like gift first and no surprise about it, it was a scooter. Austin then opened Sweetie Belles gift next. He opened the box to see a not well made red cape. Austin opened Apple Blooms gift last. He opened the box and saw a wooden statue of himself in a heroic pose. “Woah these are very cool! Thank you guys!” Austin smiled. “Your welcome buddy!” The CMC said as they hugged Austin. “Umm... if you want you can open mine...” Fluttershy said shyly. “Okay I’ll open your next.” Austin smiled. Fluttershy gave her gift to Austin. It was a yellow and pink box. Austin opened the box and saw a bunny onesie that resembles Angel the bunny. “Aww this is cute.” Austin aww’d. “Rarity made i-it for me... but I wanted the design to be a my Angel.” Fluttershy said shyly. “I love it!” Austin said as he hugged Fluttershy. “O-oh I’m glad you like it.” “Here open mine!” Luna said excitedly. “Okay momma Luna.” Austin said happily. Luna levitated her gift to Austin. The box was a night sky color. Austin opened the box and saw a dream catcher. “A dream catcher?” Austin asked. “Yep I made it myself.” Luna said happily. “But don’t you fight nightmares?” “Yes, but if I don’t get to your nightmare, this will.” “Ohhh cool. Thank you momma Luna.” Austin said as he hugged Luna. “Your welcome sweetie.” “I was going to go last.... but I want you to have it now.” Celestia said happily. Celestia levitated her gift to Austin. The box has suns over each side of the box. Austin opened the box to see a picture of all of them. “This picture was from the day we officially adopted you into our family.” Celestia said happily. Austin looked at the picture, he started to tear up a bit. “Sweetie is everything alright?” Celestia said worriedly. “Yeah I’m fine... I’m just very happy. This moment was the best moment of my entire life.” Austin said as he wiped away his tears. “I love it momma, thank you!” Austin hugged Celestia. “Aww I’m glad you love it. Don’t worry I’ll get a frame and put it on a wall or on a desk if you want.” “I would love that.” “Here take it.” Ember said as she put the gift to him. The box was light blue. “Oh okay.” Austin said. Austin opened the gift and saw a dragon scale. “This was a last minute gift, so I yanked one of Garbles scale.” Ember said. “That sounds painful.” Austin said. “Oh yeah he squealed like a filly.” Ember snickered. “Heh... thank you Ember.” Austin hugged Ember. “No problem squirt. You can stop with the hugging now.” “Oh right... not a hugger still.” “Here you go sugarcube.” Applejack said happily. Applejack gave the gift to Austin. The box had apples on each side. Austin opened the gift and saw a cowboy hat. “Ohh a cowboy hat!” Austin said happily. “Yup I made it just for ya.” “Aww thank you Applejack.” Austin hugged Applejack. “Your welcome sugarcube.” “Here have my gift.” Thorax said happily. “Okay Thorax.” Austin said. The box was covered with sparkles. Austin opened the gift and saw a clay doll. “Oh this looks cool. Thank you Thorax.” Austin hugged Thorax. “Your welcome.” “Here take mine next!” Twilight said excitedly. Twilight gave her gift to Austin. The box was a purple color. Austin opened the gift and saw a book. The book said “Daring Do Special Edition”. “This book has all the Daring Do books combined together. So if your bored, you can read them.” Twilight smiled. “I love Daring Do! Thank you Twilight!” Austin hugged Twilight. “Your welcome hunny.” “Here take mine next” Starlight said. “Okay.” Austin said. The box was a light purple color. Austin opened the gift and saw a spell book. “This spell book can help you get new powers, or if they don’t work for you, Wingdings can use them.” “Ohh I might try to use it! Thank you.” Austin hugged Starlight. “Your welcome Austin.” “Here you go darling. I do hope you enjoy it.” Rarity said happily. “I’m sure I will too.” Austin smiled. The box had a big ribbon on the top of the box. Austin opened the gift and saw a hat. The hat was pure black and the brim was red. “I know you already got a hat, but I hope you like it.” “Are you kidding, I love it! It looks cool.” “Oh I’m glad deary.” Rarity hugged Austin. “Here you go buddy.” Spike said. Spike gave his gift to Austin. The box was a green color. Austin opened the gift and saw some gems. Austin saw some rubies, sapphires and many other gems. “I picked them out myself and I had to fight the urge to eat them.” Spike scratched the back of his head. “These are beautiful, thank you Spike.” Austin hugged Spike. “No problem bud.” “Here take my gift and see if you like it better than Cadances.” Shining Armor said. The box was a white color. Austin got the fairly big gift and opened it. Inside was a sword and shield. “Woah! This is cool.” Austin said in awe. “I knew you were going to say that. So who’s better, mine or hers?” “Both.” “Both?!” The two said in unison. “Yeah, I love them equally.” “Well I guess it’s a tie.” Shining Amor laughed. “Here have my awesome gift I picked out for you.” Rainbow Dash said. The box was like a rainbow color. Rainbow Dash gave the gift to Austin and he started to open it. What he saw was a poster of Rainbow Dash with the Wonderbolts. She also signed her name on the poster. “Oh wow, I heard you were in the Wonderbolts, but I didn’t know you were in a poster with them.” Austin said in awe. “Hehe, yeah I’m that great that they put me in a poster.” Rainbow Dash bragged. “This is awesome! Thank you Rainbow.” Austin hugged Rainbow Dash. “No problem kid.” Rainbow Dash smiled. The last gift was from the Young Six. The box had a flame drawing on one side, scales on a other side, an ocean on another side and dark green. They handed the gift to Austin to open. “Here you go! This was from all of us. We hope you enjoy it.” Silverstream smiled. Austin started to open the gift and he saw a picture of the Young Six and him in a group picture. The picture was already framed with a wooden frame. “This was the time when we became friends. This was also a important moment for me since I made friends in school.” Austin said happily. “Yeah we wanted to have a photo for you to have if we go our separate ways.” Ocellus smiled lightly. “This is great! Thank you everyone.” Austin hugged the Young Six. He stopped the hugging and turned to everyone. “Thank you everyone for these gifts, but the best gift is having such a loving family and amazing friends.” Everyone aww’d and went to Austin to give him a group hug, except for Gallus, Ember and Smolder. Austin returned the hug by stretching his arms around the group with his powers. After a few hours of playing and talking, everyone left for the night. Austin, Celestia, Luna and Wingdings stayed up for a bit, talking with each other, but Austin began to yawn a bit. “It looks like our birthday boy is getting sleepy.” Luna giggled. “Indeed sister, let’s bring you to bed now deary.” Celestia said softly. “Okay momma Celestia.” Austin said sleepily. “Goodnight momma Luna.” “Goodnight sweetie, sleep tight.” Celestia levitated Austin on her back and started to walk to her bedroom. They got to her bedroom, opened the door and Celestia put Austin in her bed. “Goodnight my birthday boy.” Celestia said softly. “Goodnight momma. I love you.” Austin smiled. “I love you too.” Celestia kissed Austin on the cheek. “Sweet dreams my dear. I will come to bed soon, I got to say goodnight to my sister.” “Okay momma.” “Have a good night sleep, honey.” “Night momma.” Celestia started to leave the room and Celestia closed the door. Austin put the dream catcher that Luna got on his side and shut his eyes and fell asleep. *The Next Day* It’s a sunny day with no clouds to be seen. Austin was sound asleep, but eventually he woke himself up. He stretch his arms and he heard a crack on one of them. Austin got out of the bed and got dressed. As he got his clothes on, he opened the door. As he walked out, he heard a crunch at his feet. He looked down and saw a envelope on the floor. Huh a letter? I wonder who this could be? Austin said to himself. He looked at the letter at the front and back, but their was no name on the front nor the back. Hmm I wonder who gave me this letter? Austin thought to himself. Austin slowly opened the envelope. Inside of the envelope was a piece of paper, a letter from someone. Dear Austin, Hello my dear boy. I’ve heard you turned 10 years old yesterday, congratulations! Now I’m not sure you don’t know me, but I met you at a very young age. Anyway I wanted to know if you want to become the very best like no one ever was. What I mean by that is becoming a Pokémon trainer! But I heard you are in a different world filled with ponies and other mythical creatures that aren’t Pokémon, so if you find a way to come back to Earth, come to the Sinnoh region where me and another professor will be there. If you want, bring some friends with you, it’s lots of fun having friends with you. Your old pal, Professor Oak. Professor Oak? I feel like I heard of that name before... Austin thought to himself. “Hey Wingdings.” Austin called out. Wingdings manifested in front of Austin. Yes Austin.” Wingdings said. “Do you know a person named Professor Oak?” Austin asked. “Why yes I do know that name. You met him before I was made.” “But how do you know him when you weren’t made yet?” “When I started to trust you, I went in your memories by curiosity. I saw a memory where your parents and you went to Professor Oak’s lab when you were a baby. I saw you playing with bunch of Pokémon at his lab and you were having the best time of your life.” “Oh yeah I remember now! I played with the Pokémon at his lab. They were very nice and playful.” “Yeah. Why do you ask?” “I got a letter from him saying that since I’m 10, I can become a Pokémon trainer.” “That sounds like fun. I heard that if you become a Pokémon trainer you get to travel the 8 known regions: Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola, and Galar. You also make new friends and rivals along the way.” “That’s sound like a lot of fun! But how am I going to get back to Earth or most importantly, will momma Celestia and momma Luna let me go?” “Why not ask them. I’m sure they would agree to let you go and become a Pokémon trainer.” “Are you sure they will agree?” “I’m sure.” “Well I guess we can try.” Austin and Wingdings went to the throne room to see if Celestia or Luna were in there. They opened the throne doors and went in the room. They saw Celestia and Luna drinking tea together. The two saw Austin and Wingdings walking towards them. “Morning Austin, morning Wingdings.” The two said in unison. “Morning mommas!” Austin said happily. “Morning princesses.” Wingdings said. “How did you sleep dear?” Celestia asked Austin. “I slept good.” Austin said to Celestia. “What do you have in your hand?” Luna asked curiously. “Oh I found a letter when I woke up. It was written by an professor and he wanted me to go to Earth.” Austin said. “Why would they want you to go back to Earth?” Celestia asked. “To become a Pokémon trainer.” Austin said. “What’s a Pokémon trainer?” “A Pokémon trainer travels around 8 known regions either by themselves or with friends. They compete in gym battles to earn badges to go to a tournament. You can make a bunch of new friends or rivals along the way too.” Wingdings explained. “Why that sounds like fun!” Luna said happily. “Hmm... I don’t know about this.” Celestia said worriedly. “Oh come on sister, it might be fun for him.” “Yeah... but some of the Pokémon that Wingdings told us are very dangerous and I don’t want Austin getting hurt.” “Not to worry princess, I will watch over him to keep him safe.” Wingdings said to Celestia. “You will?” Celestia asked. “With my life.” “Well as long as you keep him safe, he can go.” Celestia nodded. “Oh thank you mommas! I promise I will be safe.” Austin said in joy and hugged both of them. “I know you will sweetie.” Celestia and Luna hugged back. “Maybe you should take some of your friends with you.” Luna suggested. “That’s a great idea, but who should I ask?” Austin asked. “Well Luna and I will be busy with our paper work. The main 6 are off doing friendship missions and Cadance will be busy protecting the crystal empire.” Celestia said. They all was thinking of who to ask. Wingdings had a idea of who to ask. “What about the Young Six.” Wingdings suggested. “Hmm... yeah I think they don’t have anything to do. We could asked them.” Celestia said. “Okay, Wingdings and I can go ask them if they want to go.” Austin said. “Alright. We will be here when you come back.” “Okay, we will be back.” Wingdings teleported Austin and himself out of the throne room. The two teleported outside of the friendship school. It didn’t take long before they saw the group, Silverstream the hippogriff, Smolder the dragon, Gallus the Griffon, Yona the yak, Sandbar the earth pony, and Ocellus the reformed changeling. “Hey guys!” Austin yelled to the Young Six. “Oh hey Austin, what’s up.” Smolder said. “Nothing much. Could I ask you all something?” “Of course! What is it?” Silverstream asked curiously. “I wanted to know if you all want to go on a adventure with Wingdings and I.” “An adventure? What kind of adventure?” Sandbar asked. “It’s an adventure filled with creatures called Pokémon.” “Pokémon? Oh I remember, principal Twilight teaching us about Pokémon.” Ocellus said. “So do you all want to come?” Austin asked. “Yeah! I love to go on an adventure with you two.” Silverstream excitedly said. “Sure why not.” Smolder said. “Well it’s better than doing nothing I guess.” Gallus said. “Yona will go on adventure too.” Yona said. “Okay it sounds like fun.” Sandbar said. “Sure, I want to know about them.” Ocellus said. “Perfect! We will teleport back to the castle and we will get ready. You can grab some stuff if you want and we can meet up back here.” Austin said. “Sounds good!” The Young Six said. Austin and Wingdings teleported back to the Canterlot castle throne room. Celestia and Luna saw that they have came back. “So did they agree?” Celestia asked. “Yep! They are getting their stuff ready and we are going to meet them at the friendship school.” Austin said. “But how are you going to go back to Earth?” “I can teleport them and myself back to Earth with a spell that I taught myself.” Wingdings said. “Well that’s good. You should grab what is necessary for you.” Celestia said to Austin. “I will. I’ll be back in a few minutes.” Austin said. Austin then rushed to Celestia’s room to get what he needs. 5 minutes later he came out of Celestia’s room with a bag on his back. He went back to the throne room where Celestia, Luna and Wingdings are waiting for him. “Okay I got some clothes, a book in case I get bored and my hat that Rarity mad—“ Austin said before he was interrupted by Celestia hugging him. “Please... be careful.” Celestia said worriedly. “I will momma.” Austin hugged back. “And have fun you two.” Luna said to the two. “We will! See you soon.” The two said. “Wait! Before you go.” Celestia said. Celestia gave Wingdings a lantern with green fire inside. “This lantern can receive my letters and deliver your letters to me. Please write me when you get their, okay” Celestia said. “We will and I will keep this safe.” Wingdings said. “Thank you.” “Your welcome princess.” The two teleported themselves out of the throne room. Celestia hugged Luna worriedly and Luna stroked her hair to calm her down. Austin and Wingdings teleported to the entrance of the friendship school and waited for the Young Six to come back. 20 minutes passed and the Young Six finally got to the entrance of the friendship school. All of them have bags with them, but nothing in them, except for Ocellus with a bunch of scrolls sticking out of the top of her bag. “Are all of you ready?” Wingdings asked. “Yep!” The Young Six nodded. “Then let’s get this adventure underway.” Wingdings closed his eyes and lifted his arms. Wingdings shot out shadows at the Young Six and Austin. When they got hit by the shadows, they were consumed by the shadows and disappeared. He then teleported himself with his shadows and was gone without a trace. The Young Six, Austin and Wingdings reappeared on a dirt road with a bunch of trees. As Wingdings appeared with the group, Gallus got a bit angry. “Why didn’t you warn us you were going to do that?!” Gallus said angrily. “You said that you were ready.” Wingdings said. “I thought you meant by the adventure!” And that’s how we got here, for the adventure.” Gallus growled, but calmed himself down. “So where are we?” Gallus said to Wingdings. “We are in the Sinnoh region. This is where we will start our adventure.” Wingdings said. The group looked around to know where they are. Sandbar turned around and his jaw dropped. The rest turned to see a giant blue building with a windmill. “This must be the professors laboratory.” Wingdings said. “Should we open the gate and let ourselves in?” Austin asked. “Sure. Let’s go in.” Austin went to open the gate and they opened outward. The group walked on the dirt path until they came upon the entrance. Austin saw a doorbell and decided to ring it. The doors opened and a man with white hair and a white moustache was at the doors, waiting for them to come. “Are you Austin?” The man asked. “Uh... yes?” Austin said nervously. “Follow me.” The man walked away with a hand signal that means to follow him. “You didn’t tell us he’s human.” Gallus said. “I thought you guys knew that Earth is filled with humans, but now you know.” Wingdings said. The group followed the man into a room with some machinery, a table, a couch and some stairs. “You know Professor Oak?” The man said. “Yeah! He gave me a letter this morning.” Austin said as he took out the letter. The man took the letter out of Austin’s hand and began to read it. “Yep your him,” The man said. “Professor Oak should be down in a moment.” “No need to wait.” Another voice said on the stairs. The group looked at the stairs and saw a man with a white coat and a red shirt behind it. He also had brownish pant and brown shoes. He also had brownish hair. The man went down the stair and reached the group. “It’s so good to see you again my dear boy.” The man said as he hugged Austin. “Uhh... it’s nice meeting you again too.” Austin hugged back awkwardly. “Oh sorry I didn’t mean to embarrass you in front of your... friends. Anyway, my name is Professor Oak and this is my good pal Professor Rowan.” Professor Oak said. “These are my friends Wingdings, Silverstream, Smolder, Gallus, Yona, Sandbar and Ocellus.” Austin said as he pointed at each of them. “Why it’s very nice to meet you all,” Professor Oak said as he shook their hooves and talons. “Are these new Pokémon?” “Do we look like Pokémon to you?” Smolder said. “Woah they talk?!” “Yep and no they are not Pokémon. They are from a different world where I live.” Austin said. “Right right, my brain gets a bit ahead of its self.” “That’s okay.” “Well since you are all here, you all are going to be Pokémon trainers right?” “Yep!” Everyone except Wingdings said. “Excellent, but I will let Professor Rowan take over.” Professor Oak said as he moved to the side. “You will get your starter Pokémon, but only five will get a starter Pokémon. Now some trainers came here and took the starters, but we have more here,” Professor said as he pointed on the table with five poke balls. “Once you receive your Pokémon, you will need to show them with respect. If you show it respect, they will respect you. Now ill show you the Pokémon.” Professor Rowan went to one of the sides of the table and Austin’s group were at the other side. He took one pokeball and opened it. Austin’s group covered their eyes when the ball opened with a flash. When they opened their eyes, a turtle like creature came out. “This is Turtwig, the grass type starter.” The Professor took another poke ball and opened it. Out of the ball was a monkey with a flame tail. “This is Chimchar, the fire type starter.” The Professor took another poke ball and opened it. Out of the ball was a penguin. “And this is Piplup, the water type starter. The last two Pokémon aren’t starters, but we decided to give them to you.” The Professor took the poke ball and opened it. Out of the pokeball was a mouse. “This is Pikachu, the electric mouse Pokémon. The Professor took the last pokeball and opened it. Out of the pokeball was a fox like Pokémon. “And this is Eevee, the adaptation Pokémon.” The group looked at the Pokémon and aww’d at them. They all thought for a minute before Silverstream suggested something. “How about Austin picks first!” Silverstream said happily. “Are you sure, it’s okay if one of you pick first.” Austin said to the Young Six. “Nah, besides it was your birthday yesterday, so you get to pick first.” Smolder said. “But my birthday isn’t today, it was yesterday.” “Just pick one man.” Gallus deadpanned. “Okay okay, I’ll pick mine first.” Austin walked over to the five Pokémon and thought about which one to pick. Hmm... they all look cute, but I have to choose one. Austin thought. “I think I know what to chose.” Austin said to professor Rowan. “And what is that?” Professor Rowan asked Austin. Austin pointed at the Pokémon that he wanted to be his partner. He pointed at Piplup. “You want to chose Piplup?” Professor Rowan asked. “Yes.” “Very well then.” Piplup, hearing that it has been picked, jumped at Austin and snuggled him. “Piplup!” Piplup said excitedly. Austin laughed at Piplups snuggling. Professor Rowan handed out a device to Austin. The device was medium size, and looked like a DS. “This is a Pokédex. It will scan new Pokémon that you encounter and give some information on that Pokémon. Give it a try on Piplup.” Professor said to Austin. Austin took the Pokédex and pointed it at Piplup, but nothing happened. “You have to open it.” Professor Rowan pointed to the cover. “Oh.” Austin said embarrassed. Austin opened the Pokédex and pointed it at Piplup. The screen displayed a picture of Piplup and a male voice started to speak from the device. Piplup, The Penguin Pokémon. It doesn’t like to be taken care of. It’s difficult to bond with since it won’t listen to its Trainer. The screen then turned off and Austin closed the cover. “Huh, Piplup is independent and prefers to take care of itself.” Austin said. “Yes, it will take sometime to get Piplup to listen to you, but once you do, you will be good friends.” Professor Oak said. Professor Rowan nodded. “Now who is next?” Professor Rowan asked the group. “OH, Yona will go next!” Yona said. “Alright, which of the four do you want?” “Hmmm... Yona wants that one!” Yona pointed at Chimchar. Chimchar happily jumped on Yona’s back and smiled at Yona. “Very well. Here is your Pokédex... can someone hold this for her?” “I can professor.” Wingdings said to professor Rowan. Professor Rowan handed over the Pokédex to Wingdings. “Oh what does Yona’s Pokémon say!” Yona said excitedly. “Hold on, one second.” Wingdings opened the Pokédex cover and pointed it at Chimchar. The screen turned on and a picture of Chimchar was displayed, with a female voice starting to talk. Chimchar, The Chimp Pokémon. Its fiery rear end is fueled by gas made in its belly. Even rain can’t extinguish the fire. “Chimchar!” Chimchar said happily. “I will love it with Yona’s life!” Yona said proudly. “I’m sure you will. Who’s next?” Professor Rowan said to the group. “I will.” Gallus said. “Which one do you want to pick?” Professor asked Gallus. “I’ll chose this one, it doesn’t look lame like the rest of these Pokémon.” Gallus pointed at Pikachu. Pikachu waddled over to Gallus. Turtwig and Eevee looked at Gallus and made a sad face from the mean comment on them. “Pikachu, alright. Here is your Pokédex.” Professor Rowan handed the Pokédex to Gallus. Gallus grabbed the Pokédex and opened the Pokédex cover. He pointed it at Pikachu. A male voice started to talk with a picture of Pikachu. Pikachu, The Mouse Pokémon. Pikachu that can generate powerful electricity have cheek sacs that are extra soft and super stretchy. “Hmm... seems cool enough, I guess.” “You know I met a kid who has a Pikachu as his first partner too.” Professor Oak said to the group. “Who were they Professor Oak?” Austin asked curiously. “You will just have to meet him yourselves, but he’s a nice and kind person to know. But he’s also a bit of a ... dimwitted.” “Oh okay.” “Okay who’s next?” Professor Rowan asked the group. “I’ll go.” Smolder said. “Which one do you want?” “I’ll pick that one.” Smolder pointed at Eevee. Eevee jumped up and down happily at ran to Smolders side. “Eevee, alright. Here is your Pokédex.” Professor Rowan said. Smolder took the Pokédex and opened the Pokédex cover. She pointed it at Eevee and the screen turned on. It showed a picture of Eevee and a female voice started to talk. Eevee, The Evolution Pokémon. It has the ability to alter the composition of its body to suit its surrounding environment. “Huh sweet. Eevee can evolve by the environment it’s on.” Smolder said. “That is true, but In order to actually evolve it is with specials stones for it to evolve.” Professor Rowan said. “Still cool though.” “Alright who’s next for the final Pokémon?” “OH OH, I will pick!” Silverstream excitedly said. “Very well you get Turtwig.” Silverstream reached out her claws for Turtwig and Turtwig happily ran to her. She happily hug Turtwig. “Here is your Pokédex.” Professor Rowan handed the Pokédex to Silverstream. She stopped hugging Turtwig and took the device from the professors hand. She opened the Pokédex cover and pointed it at Turtwig. The screen turn on with a picture of Turtwig and a female voice started to talk. Turtwig, The Tiny Leaf Pokémon, Photosynthesis occurs across its body under the sun. The shell on its back is actually hardened soil. “Wow! His shell is made of soil and create energy from its whole body. That’s sooo CUTE!!” Silverstream hugged Turtwig. “Yes they are quite cute. That’s all of the Pokémon that we have until our eggs hatch for the next batch of trainers.” Professor Rowan said. “But what about Sandbar and Ocellus? Can they get starters?” Austin asked professor Rowan. “Sorry, but we won’t have anymore starters until the starter eggs hatch and be taken care of before a trainer can pick them.” “Oh, that’s a bummer.” Sandbar said sadly. “Yeah.” Ocellus said sadly too. “Now now no need for the sadness. You just need to find a partner in the wild.” Professor Rowan said to the two. “In the wild?” The two said in unison. “Yes. Though finding starter Pokémon in the wild are rare, but you can find a Pokémon you like and make it your first Pokémon.” “That sounds like fun, don’t you think Ocellus?” Sandbar said excitedly. “Yeah... I guess.” Ocellus said nervously. “What’s wrong?” “I’m... a bit nervous to find my first Pokémon in the wild.” “Don’t worry Ocellus, I can help you.” Austin smiled. “Really? Thank you Austin!” Ocellus hugged Austin. “Don’t mention it.” “Well that’s been settled, their is somethings i want to tell you all,” professor Rowan said to the group. “Their is a few things you can do in the Sinnoh region. One can be the Pokémon gyms where you fight gym leaders with your Pokémon. The other thing you can do is Pokémon contests. “Pokémon contest??” The group said. “Yes, Pokémon contest. You and your Pokémon will show off your talents in one round. Judges will be there to determine if you will go to the next stage. But they will explain it more in detail if you do it.” “Ohh that’s sound like fun!” Silverstream said excitedly. “Yes, but before you all go. Take these for your adventure.” Professor Rowan said to the group. Professor Rowan handed the group 5 pokeballs each. “These are called pokeballs. You will need them to capture Pokémon, but in order to do that is to weaken the Pokémon that you are fighting. You can buy more in pokemarts.” “Thank you professor.” Austin smiled. “No problem. Now that you are all set, your adventure awaits for you all.” Professor Rowan pointed at the door. The group nodded and they all proceeded to the door. The doors opened automatically and they all left. The two professors looked at the door. “Did you feel that Rowan?” Professor Oak said. “No, what?” Professor Rowan asked. “I have a feeling that this group will go places.” “Well yeah, it’s a region. What do you expect.” “No not that smartypants! I mean they will most likely be some powerful trainer in the future.” “I don’t have that feeling, but I won’t be surprised if they become powerful trainers, even though they are from a different world.” “Indeed. Now since they are gone, tell me more about Arceus.” The group left the professors lab and started to walk on the dirt road. “Now let’s get this adventure started!” Austin said excitedly. “YEAH!!!” The Young Six yelled excitedly. As they were walking the path, they all looked very exhausted. “Wings... where are we even going?” Austin asked exhaustedly. “We are coming up to a small town named Sandgem Town. We will go there for a some rest and perhaps get more pokeballs.” Wingdings said as he is looking at a map. “How did you get a map?” “Before we left, Professor Oak gave me a map to get around the region. He also gave us some poke dollars to buy stuff at the pokemart and some poke food to feed your Pokémon.” “Does everything start with the word poke?” Gallus asked curiously. “Yes, most words start with poke in them.” “Why?” “No clue.” Wingdings shrugged. As the group continued to walk, their stomachs started to growl. “How about we take a small break and I’ll make some food.” Wingdings said to the group. “Sounds good to me.” Smolder said. The group went off the dirt path and on the grass. Wingdings set up a small cauldron with a fire starter on the bottom. The group set up a small table for them to eat instead of eating on grass. “We should let our Pokémon out to eat too.” Austin said to the Young Six. They all nodded and took out their pokeballs and threw them on the ground and their Pokémon came out. They set up some bowls on the grass for the Pokémon to eat off of. Austin took the poke food out of his bag and placed it in every bowl. The Pokémon made some happy noises and began to chow down, except for Piplup. “Piplup are you going to eat?” Austin asked Piplup. “Piplup!” Piplup moved his bowl away from him. “Please Piplup, you need to eat.” “Pip.” Piplup crossed his arms. Piplup started to sniff and something caught its attention. Piplup then got up and started to waddle away from the group. “Piplup, where you going?” Austin said, worried. “Let’s go get him Austin.” Sandbar said to Austin. “Right!” The two ran to the direction of where Piplup was. After searching for a minute, they saw Piplup eating some berries. “Oh thank goodness you didn’t wander off too far from us.” Austin said in relief. As Piplup was chowing down on the berries, a wild Pokémon fell on Piplups head. Piplup, now angry, starts yelling at the Pokémon. Austin and Sandbar went closer to the Pokémon and saw that it had a grassy coat on it. It has a spiral tip on its head and has wooden feet. It’s eyes were the only thing that wasn’t covered. “Who this Pokémon?” Sandbar asked Austin. “Let me check my Pokédex.” Austin took out his Pokédex and pointed at the Pokémon. Burmy (Grass Cloak), the Bagworm Pokémon. To shelter itself from cold, wintry winds, it covers itself with a cloak made of twigs and leaves. “A Burmy?” Sandbar said. As they saw Piplup still yelling at Burmy, Austin had an idea. “Why don’t you catch this one as your partner!” Austin said to Sandbar. “But how am I gonna catch it?” Sandbar asked. “Using a pokeball.” “Oh right the professor gave us five of them. Alright I’m going to catch it.” Sandbar took a poke ball out of his bag and threw it at Burmy. It contact Burmy and a red glow took Burmy into the pokeball. One tick... Two tick... The poke ball then reopened and Burmy reappeared. “Aww that was close.” Austin said Burmy looked at them with an angry look. “I think Burmy want to fight.” Austin said to Sandbar. “But how can I fight without a Pokémon?” Sandbar asked. “You can use my Piplup to catch him, right bud.” Austin said as he looked at Piplup. Piplup looked at Austin with a battle face “Pip!” “He’s all yours.” Austin said. “What moves does he have?” Sandbar asked Austin. “Oh let’s see here.” Austin took out his Pokédex again and looked at Piplup’s status. “Piplup knows the moves pound and growl right now.” “Alright. You ready Piplup.” Piplup nodded and readied himself. Piplup and Burmy looked at each other with intense eyes. “Piplup use pound!” Sandbar commanded Piplup. Piplup flipper glowed white and Piplup charged towards Burmy, but Burmy used a blue energy shield and reflected Piplup’s pound. “What was that move?” Sandbar said to Austin. “That was the move protect. The only way to hit it is behind it.” Austin said to Sandbar. “Right. Piplup use pound but go behind Burmy!” “Piplup!” Piplup’s flipper glowed white once again and Piplup charged at Burmy again. Burmy used protect again, but Piplup went behind it swiftly. Before Burmy could react, Piplup hit Burmy with the pound. Burmy landed on the ground with swirly eyes. “Nows your chance, use your Pokeball!” “Right!” Sandbar threw another pokeball at Burmy. It hit Burmy directly and a red glow sucked up Burmy again. The button on the center started to blink and the pokeball started to move. One tick... Two ticks... Three ticks... ... *click* The center stopped blinking and the ball stopped moving. Sandbar caught a Burmy. “Did I do it?” Sandbar asked Austin. “Yes. You caught Burmy.” Austin smiled. Sandbar took the pokeball and opened the pokeball. Burmy reappeared and looked at Sandbar. “Burmy!” Burmy smiled. “I... I did it!” Sandbar said happily. “I saw. Good for you man.” Austin smiled. “Thanks Austin, but I couldn’t do it without your Piplup.” “I’m sure Piplup enjoyed it since Burmy bumped his head.” “Thank you Piplup.” “Pip.” Piplup smiled. “We should go back to the group and show off your first starter.” “Yeah!” Sandbar returned his Pokémon back to its pokeball and the two returned to the group. As they saw the group, they saw Gallus using his Pikachu to fight a frog Pokémon. “What’s that Pokémon?” Sandbar asked Austin. “I’m not sure. Let’s see.” Austin pointed his Pokédex at the frog Pokémon. Croagunk, the Toxic Mouth Pokémon. It makes frightening noises with its poison-filled cheek sacs. When opponents flinch, Croagunk hits them with a poison jab. “A Croagunk? Hmm let’s see if they need help.” Austin said. “Yeah.” Austin, Sandbar and Piplup ran over to Wingdings. “Wings what’s going on here?” Austin asked Wingdings. “While you were looking for Piplup with Sandbar, we were ready to eat some food, but this Croagunk came over and started to eat our food. As we were trying to get rid of it, Ocellus wanted to catch it for a partner, so Gallus is trying to help catch it.” Wingdings said. “Wow... is he having any trouble?” “He was at the beginning, he kept using quick attack, but Croagunk kept dodging it. But I gave him a quick lecture and he understood. He is now actually having a fighting chance against it.” “Pikachu use Thunder Shock!” Gallus commanded Pikachu “Pika!!” Pikachu jumped up in the air “Pika! pika! Pikkka!” Pikachu started rub his cheeks and tiny lightning bolts came off. “Chuuuuuu!!!” A big lightning bolt came off of Pikachu and towards Croagunk. The lightning bolt hit Croagunk directly and made Croagunk fall on the floor. “Nows your chance Ocellus, throw the pokeball!” Wingdings said to Ocellus. “Right!” Ocellus said. She threw the pokeball at Coragunk and Croagunk was sucked into the ball. One tick... Two ticks... Three ticks... ... *click* The pokeball stopped moving and the light in the center stopped blinking. Ocellus have caught Croagunk. “I... i did it.” Ocellus said. “Yes. Yes you have. Great job.” Wingdings clapped. “With a little help from me.” Gallus said. “Thank you Gallus and Pikachu!” Ocellus said happily. “No problem.” “Pika!” Pikachu said happily. The rest of the group clapped for Ocellus. “T-thank you everyone.” Ocellus said shyly. “Oh and guess what everyone.” Austin said excitedly. “What is it Austin?” Wingdings asked. “Sandbar caught his first Pokémon too!” “Really that’s so cool!!” Silverstream said happily. “What Pokémon did you get?” Wingdings said intrigued. “I’ll show you.” Sandbar said. He took out the pokeball and threw it on the ground and Burmy appeared. “Burmy!” Burmy said happily. “Woah! What is that Pokémon?” Smolder said curiously. “This is Burmy. It’s a bug type Pokémon.” Austin said to the group. “Woah.” The group said in unison. “It kinda suits you Sandbar.” Silverstream said to Sandbar. “How’s that?” Sandbar asked. “You both have green skin. HA!” Gallus snickered. Smolder bumped his shoulder. “Ow!!” “What he means by that is that you look good with that Pokémon.” Smolder said. “Thanks Smolder.” Sandbar smiled. “No problem.” Smolder smiled back. “Well after we been interrupted by that Croagunk, I’ll make a new batch of soup and we’ll hit the road. Wingdings said to the group. “Okay!” The group said in unison. Wingdings made a new batch of soup and the group gave their Pokémon some more food, with Burmy and Croagunk part of their group. After everyone eat and the Pokémon eat their meal, they hit the road again. It took around 15 minutes to get to Sandgem Town. It had a few houses, a Pokémon center and a pokemart. “We should heal up our Pokémon at the Pokémon center.” Austin said to the group. “Is that where we go to get our Pokémon healed?” Sandbar asked. “Yep! The Pokémon center always has the red pokeball sign on the building.” “And what about the blue sign?” Sandbar pointed a hoof at the blue pokeball sign. “Oh! That the pokemart. We can buy more pokeballs or pokeballs that are better. You can also buy potions to heal our Pokémon too.” “Oh potions, just like Zecora.” Silverstream said. “Uhh... sure, but less unpredictable.” “Now let’s get your Pokémon healed up.” “Right!” The group said in unison. As the group went into the Pokémon center, they didn’t notice that they were being watched. “Are you thinking what I’m thinking.” A voice said. “Oh yeah. The Pokémon center was big in the inside with tables and chairs in the corners and in the middle of the building. Their was tables on the sides with computers with microphones in the middle of the computer. Looking straight from the entrance their was a desk with a woman at the back. She wore a pink dress with a white apron. She also has a hat with a purple pokeball in the middle of the hat. The group went over to the woman and the woman smiled as they walked to her. “Welcome to the Pokémon Center. My name is Nurse Joy.” Nurse joy said happily. “Hi Nurse Joy, can we get our Pokémon healed?” Austin asked. “Of course. Chansey!” Nurse Joy called out. Then a pink round Pokémon came through a door from the left side of Nurse Joy with a cart. “Who’s that Pokémon?” Ocellus said. Austin took out his Pokédex and pointed it at the Pokémon. Chansey, the Egg Pokémon. The egg Chansey carries is not only delicious but also packed with nutrition. It’s used as a high-class cooking ingredient. “Chansey!” Chansey said happily. Chansey took the cart to the group. “Please put your Pokeballs on the cart.” Nurse Joy said to the group. “You won’t steal them will you?” Gallus asked. “No I never take other trainers Pokémon. I only take them to get them healed, so you can trust me.” “Alright, I guess I can trust you.” Gallus placed his pokeball on the cart. The rest of them placed their pokeballs on the cart as well. “Great! I’ll be back in a few minutes with your Pokémon.” Nurse Joy smiled. Chansey took the cart to the back with Nurse Joy behind it. The group sat down on the waiting area until Nurse Joy comes back. A few minutes pass and Nurse Joy returned to the group. “Your Pokémon is fully healed.” Nurse Joy said happily. The group took their Pokeballs from the cart and released them out, looking happy. “Thank you Nurse Joy.” Wingdings said. “Anytime, please do come back if your Pokémon get hurt again.” Nurse Joy said. The group waved at Nurse Joy and they left the Pokémon center. The group were outside of the Pokémon center. “So where do we go now?” “Well if we follow the map we should get to a nearby ci-“ Wingdings was interrupted by the sound of a whoosh. All of a sudden a net appeared and caught the Young six and all of the Pokémon. The Young Six and the Pokémon struggled to get out of the net, but to no prevail. The net began to slowing lift up in the air. Austin and Wingdings gasped in shock as they saw a hot air balloon with two people inside, laughing. “Who are you? What’s the meaning of this?!” Wingdings said angrily. “Listen, is that I voice I hear?” A female voice said. “It’s speaking to me loud and clear.” A male voice said. “On the wind!” “Past the stars!” “In your ear!” Another voice said. “Bringing chaos at a breakneck pace.” The female voice said. “Dashing hope, putting fear in its place.” The male voice said. “A rose by another name is just as sweet.” “When everything’s worse, our work is complete.” “Jessie!” “And it’s James!” “And Meowth, now that’s a name!” The other voice named Meowth said. “Putting the do-gooders in their place!” Jessie said. “…We’re Team Rocket…” James said. “In your face!” They all said in unison. “Wobbuffet!” A Pokémon said. The three laughed as the young six and all of the Pokémon are trapped in a net. “Release our friends right now!” Austin said angrily. The two looked at each other and laughed hysterically. “You really think we will release these rare Pokémon.” Jessie said as she pointed at one of the young six members. “They aren’t Pokémon, they are our friends.” Wingdings said. “It doesn’t matter, we will bring them to our boss and we will be the favorite team rocket members.” Meowth said. Austin and Wingdings readied themselves for a fight, but before they could do anything, they heard another voice. “Pikachu, iron tail!” The voice yelled. Then all of a sudden, a pikachu leaped in the air and it’s tail turned to metal. The tail cut through the net with ease, setting the young six and the Pokémon free. As they were falling, Gallus, Smolder, Ocellus and Silverstream used their wings to save themselves from falling. Sandbar, Yona and the Pokémon were still falling towards the floor, but the three caught Sandbar and Yona in time, but they couldn’t catch the Pokémon in time. As the Pokémon were failing, Austin transformed into Sans and used his blue magic to hold half of the Pokémon, but the other half was still falling. Luckily, Wingdings used his blue magic and saved the other half from falling. Austin and Wingdings set the Pokémon down safely. Austin transformed back to his normal self. Austin looked up at team rocket and saw the shocked emotions on their faces. “H-how did he…” Jessie said stunned. “I-I’m not sure.” James said in shock. “Pikachu, thunderbolt!” The voice said again. “Pika pika PIKA!!” The pikachu yelled. The pikachu leaped in the air once again and static electricity came off of it and formed a thunderbolt. The thunderbolt was then fired towards team rockets balloon and exploded the balloon. “Team rockets blasting off again!!” The three said as they flew from the sky. Austin looked at his friends. “Are you guys alright?” Austin asked. “Yeah we’re fine.” Sandbar said. “That’s good. And what about our little friends here?” The Pokémon made many of chants and smiles. “Thanks Gallus for the assist.” Austin said to Gallus. “What, my pikachu was in the net with the rest of us.” Gallus said to Austin. “Then… who saved us?” “That was me.” The voice said again. A dark silhouette appeared in the shadows. “W-who’s their?!? Show yourself.” Austin said. The dark silhouette went out of the darkness and saw a boy. He wore a black vest with a white collar, and yellow stripe, a white short - sleeved undershirt, blue cargo jeans, black and red sneakers and a hat with a blue pokeball. “Who are you kind stranger?” Wingdings asked. “I’m Ash Ketchum, I’m from pellet town,” Ash said. The pikachu that saved them went up on ash and on his right shoulder. “And this is my best friend pikachu.” “Pikachu!” Pikachu chanted. “Hi ash, I’m Austin, this is my Pokémon piplup.” “Piplup.” Piplup chanted. “And these are my friends, Silverstream, Smolder, Gallus, Yona, Sandbar and Ocellus. And this is my brother Wingdings.” Austin pointed at the young six.” “Hello!” The young six said in unison. “Greetings.” Wingdings said. “Woah, are those talking Pokémon?!” Ash said in amazement as he stares at the Young Six. “Sigh, why do everyone keep calling us Pokémon?!?” Gallus complained. “Excuse him, he’s always like this.” Austin said to Ash. “Hey!” Gallus shouted at Austin. They are not from around here.” Wingdings said. “Oh… where are they from?” Ash asked. “They are from a place called Equestria.” “Is that a new region?” “Yes and no. It is a new region for you, but it doesn’t have have any Pokémon there.” “Oh…” “Yeah…” “Well it was very nice I got to meet you all.” “We can say the same since you saved us.” Ocellus said to Ash. “Aw it was nothing, I like to help others, especially if team rocket has something to do with it.” Ash scratched the back of his head. “Why did they try to steal our Pokémon? We didn’t do anything to them.” Austin said. “Team rocket likes to steal Pokémon so that they can bring them to their boss. Tho I don’t really know who their boss really is.” “Well once again, thank you for helping us.” “No pro-“ Ash got interrupted when another voice yelled his name. “ASH!!” The voice yelled. “Oh boy…” Ash sighed. A girl came running towards the group. She wore a mini dress, consisting of a black v neck tank top with a white shirt under it, a very short pink mini skirt and a red scarf. She also wore a beanie with a pink pokeball printed on it. “Ash… uff… you gotta stop running off like that… huff… what if you got hurt or something?” The voice said to Ash. “Hehe… sorry Dawn, I was helping out these new trainers from team rocket.” Ash said to the girl named Dawn. Dawn looked behind Ash and saw the group of trainers. “Oh sorry where are my manners, my name is Dawn. May I know your names please?” “My name is Austin.” Austin greeted Dawn. “I’m Wingdings.” “I’m silverstream.” “I’m Smolder.” “I’m Gallus.” “I’m Yona.” “I’m Sandbar.” “And I’m Ocellus.” “Well it’s very nice to meet all of you,” Dawn smiled. “But we should get going —“ Dawn was interrupted by the sound of a stomach growling. “Hehe sorry… that was me.” Ash laughed embarrassedly. “Perhaps we should make some food for our new friends.” Wingdings suggested. “But we just ate.” Sandbar said. “ But our new friends haven’t yet.” “What do you say Dawn, wanna stay for a while?” Ash said to Dawn. “Sure! It wouldn’t hurt to stay for a bit.” Dawn replied. “Excellent. Young six, can you set the table please?” “Okay.” The Young Six said in unison. “Hey Austin, can we talk about what happened when you saved those Pokémon.” Ash asked Austin. “Sure.” Austin said. Somewhere in a forest, Jessie, James and Meowth were in a tree, dangling from a single branch. “Did you see that twerp change?!?” Jessie said. “Yeah… I think so?” James said, still in shock. “Could he be a rare Pokémon disguised himself as a kid?” “If he is a rare Pokémon, we can’t let the opportunity go to waste!” Jessie lifted a fist in the air. “Should we call the boss about this rare Pokémon?” Meowth asked. “Maybe, he could be interested about a rare Pokémon that can disguised itself as… whatever that was.” James said. “Right let’s contact the boss.” To Be Continued… Author's Note Hey everyone! To thank them for the rescue, they decided to prepare some food for them. As the Young Six and Wingdings got the table prepared, Ash and Austin were sitting on the grass. They didn’t speak for a few minutes, just awkward silence. Ash, broke the awkward silence and began to start a conversation. “So… uh, your new to this Pokémon stuff, right?” Ash said to Austin. “Yeah, we just started today.” Austin said to Austin. “I remember having my first Pokémon,” Ash said as he pets his Pikachu. “Pikachu and I go anywhere, battle in sync, being good friends… but that wasn’t always like that.” “What do you mean?” Austin asked confusedly. “Me and Pikachu weren’t always friends, he wouldn’t listen to me, wouldn’t let me pet him or do anything with him. He even wouldn’t help me catch a Pidgey.” “A Pidgey?” Austin asked confused. Austin search up the name and it showed a pictured of a Pidgey. Pidgey, the Tiny Bird Pokémon, Very docile. If attacked, it will often kick up sand to protect itself rather than fight back. “I tried to catch a Pidgey without my pikachu, I almost caught it, but it got away. I got frustrated that Pikachu didn’t help me that I threw a rock at a Spearow, causing a horde to chase us.” “A Spearow too?” Austin said as he searched up Spearow as well. Spearow, the Tiny Bird Pokémon, Inept at flying high. However, it can fly around very fast to protect its territory. “The horde chased us and injured Pikachu. I decided to defend Pikachu and let the horde attack me. As the Spearows were launching at me, Pikachu jumped on my shoulder and used a thunder shock, hitting all the Spearows. Since that day, we have been best of friends ever since.” Ash said as he looked at Pikachu. “Woah… that’s so COOL.” Austin said with sparkles in his eyes. Ash chuckles “yeah that is pretty cool. What about you? What’s your story?” “My story? Like what?” Austin asked. “Well, maybe you can tell me about how you got to Equestria and how you did that thing you did earlier.” “Well it’s a long story, I don’t think you would want to hear it all.” “Nah its fine, besides I want to know you better.” “And I also want to know as well.” Dawn said behind them. The two of them turned behind them and saw her behind them. “How long have been there?” Ash asked. “Long enough to hear your story.” Dawn said. “So the whole time?” “Yeah, pretty much,” Dawn sat down near Ash and Austin. “Anyways, continue.” “Well since you two want to know, I must warn you it might get upset.” Austin frowned. “I’m sure it won’t be that bad.” Dawn smiled. “Alright then. It all started on Earth or here now. I was born with powers that no human has before. My powers were from a prophecy a long time ago.” “A prophecy?” Ash asked. “Yes, it was a prophecy saying that the child with an golden heart will destroy a evil Queen, a queen of shadows, Necrafa.” “Woah that’s… so cool!” Ash said in awe. “It’s not as cool as it seems Ash.” Austin frowned sadly. “What do you mean?” Dawn asked. “With powers comes responsibility, my father used to said to me, I always take my powers seriously when I was told to be the one to defeat the dark queen,” Austin’s eyes shifted to the ground. “But I was not strong enough to save my hometown. The queen appeared with her minions and some allies she had with her, they were called battle droids, or something like that.” “Battle Droids?” Ash said confusedly. “Wait a second…” Dawn thought about something. “I read something about them in the news, saying that these mechanical beings cause destruction where ever they go. The news also said that it… destroyed… a town…” Dawn realization kicked in and frowned sadly at Austin. “That was—“ “My home, yes,” Austin’s said sadly. “It was destroyed, along with everyone in my hometown, including my parents.” “I’m sorry to hear that.” Ash said sadly. “Yeah, me too.” Dawn responded sadly. “Thank you guys, but I know their in a better place now,” Austin looked up at the sky and smiled. “Anyways, while the attack was happening, my parents told me to run as far as I can go, and so I did. It didn’t take long before those battle droids to spot me and chased me down. I didn’t know they were chasing me, until I heard the clanking from their feet. I ran and ran until I was at an edge of a cliff. I was going to turn around and go a different way, but those droids surrounded me. They told me to surrender quietly and they will deliver me to the queen. I had only two choices I had at the time, go with them or jump off the cliff.” “Did you go with them?” Ash asked curiously. “If I did, then I don’t think I would’ve meet you or my new home, instead you’ll be slaves to Queen Necrafa, so no I didn’t go with them.” “So that means you—“ Dawn said before she was cut off. “Jumped off the cliff, yes. It was my only way to escape, at least at the time. As I was falling, I thought of my parents and how I let them down. As I was heading for the cliff floor, a bright flash hit my eyes, causing me to faint. The next thing I know was me waking up to the sun beaming at me, I had to adjust me eyes and when I did, a white horse with a horn and wings was looking at me with wonder and worry. I panicked, I pushed myself away from it and formed a ball with my arms and legs, hoping it would go away. Instead it came over to me and started to apologize, saying that I fell from the sky and she saved me. She introduced herself, calling herself Princess Celestia.” “Princess Celestia?” Ash said Curiously. “A PRINCESS?!?” Dawn yelled excitedly, beaming at Austin with interested eyes “Yep, she was the ruler of Equestria, a world filled with ponies, mules, donkeys and many other creatures, but no humans were present there. Eventually, I got comfortable with her, we’ve talked about ourselves and how I got here, but she didn’t know. My stomach was getting hungry and she invited me in her castle for lunch and —“ “A CASTLE?!?” Ash and Dawn yelled. “Oh did I not mention that?” “No!” Ash and Dawn said. “Oh, well she has a castle. Anyways we had lunch and I met her sister, Princess Luna.” “Another Princess?” The both of them said. “Yeah, she’s the co ruler for Equestria. We talked and they decided that to let me stay with them for a while. I didn’t know where I was and I’m comfortable with those two, so I stayed. The next day, I met Celestia’s student and their friends, Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, Twilight’s assistant Spike, Starlight Glimmer, and Tempest Shadow.” “Those are weird names.” Ash said. Dawn punched Ash’s arm. “Don’t be rude Ash.” “It’s alright Dawn, I found the names weird too, but I got used to the names in time. Anyways, I talked with them and they decided to throw a party for me, as a welcome to Equestria party. They made the party and invited other ponies from nearby and from a village. Celestia announced to the ponies to make me feel welcomed, like I’m one of them, which they did that the party. By the end of the party, Celestia wanted to asked the crowd to say something to me. No one said anything, until a mare came out from the crowd, saying some mean things to me.” “Why would they say mean things to you?” Ash and Dawn asked. “It was because she was actually planning an invasion.” “An invasion?” They both asked curiously and worriedly. “Yes, the pony transformed into a large like bug pony with small like bug ponies transforming from the crowd and surrounded the big bug pony.” “Who was this bug pony?” The two asked curiously. “Chrysalis, queen of the Changelings, creatures that can turn into anything. Celestia tried to protect me and the others, but Chrysalis was too strong for her. I ran towards her and tried to defend her, to which she fired a magic blast from her horn.” “Oh my!” Dawn said in horror. “They thought I was dead, but I turned into a robot.” “A robot?” The two questioned. Austin was surrounded into a white fog and when the fog disappeared, a tall robot with no face appeared. Dawn jumped to the shear size of the robot, looking terrified, but Ash looked at Austin in awe. The white fog appeared again and consumed the robot and Austin reappeared. “Woah!!” Ash said in awe. “That was kinda scary.” Dawn said scaredly. “Sorry about that Dawn and thank you Ash,” Austin said. “That was the creature that I used against Chrysalis. I defeated her easily, but I spared her life because I forgave her for hurting Celestia. She and her changelings left the castle and the party resumed. The next day, my brother decided to talk to me in my mind.” Austin said as he looked over at Wingdings. “Talk to you in your mind?” The two said. “Yes, he’s a shadow that can go inside my head and can have a physical body as well. So he wanted me to tell the ponies about my past, but I was scared to tell them, so he volunteered to tell them. So I introduced the ponies to my brother, Wingdings, to them and he explained my past to them, my birth, when I was told that i was part of some prophecy, and the attack of my hometown. After that, Twilight wanted to ask us some questions about my powers and Wingdings powers. On the night of that day when Twilight asked us questions, Celestia and I were having a midnight chat, talking about how I was bad luck when it comes to friends and Celestia wanted to be a mother, but couldn’t because of a miscarriage. That’s when I realized that I can have a new family there. I then went to a little town called Ponyville, but their was creatures called Ursa Minor and Ursa Major. I had to save the village and so I had to scare them away from the village, so that’s what I did. Then I met my parents friends, skeletons that are alive. They are called Papyrus, Sans, he’s the one I rescued those Pokémon, and Gaster, their dad. When Gaster didn’t realize that we weren’t training to battle queen Necrafa, he trained me, but in the wrong way.” “The wrong way?” The two asked curiously. “Yes, Gaster trained his sons with violence or abuse but it’s not like abuse, which made them what they are today, but it didn’t work for me. It instead, made my soul grew cold.” “Your soul?” The two asked again. Austin nodded and his soul appeared in front of his chest. His soul was golden yellow with sparkles coming from it. Ash and Dawn looked in awe. Austin’s soul then disappeared back to his chest. “Woah!” The two said in awe. Austin chuckled. “Yeah that is my soul. When I was beginning my training, I had to meditate with Gaster hitting me with a bone. When I was meditating, I was in the dark room and I saw my soul. I got close to my soul, but it wrapped itself with chains and I woke up. After that event, a shadowy version of myself appeared and shown me the “truth” of the ponies plan with me. He said that after I destroy Necrafa, they would get rid of me. So I believed him for a while, but I still didn’t think that they would do such a thing. Shadow Austin, a name I gave him, grew more powerful when I soul was become dark. In order for him to get more powerful, he had to target the people I cared. The first one was my brother Wingdings, giving him a virus that shut down his whole body and putting him a coma. Then he started to attack the citizens with my own powers to make them hate me. When he succeeded in that, he then made me attack my friends.” “That’s awful!” They both said sadly. “Yeah, but to keep the ending short and sweet, I defeated my shadowy version of myself and defeated queen Necrafa, with help from my friends of course. Just when everything was over, my parents, as spirits, appeared in front of me and my friends, saying that they are proud of me and to always do the right thing. They also said to Celestia and my friends to take good care of me. After they were about to go, I gave them one last hug. He hugged for a good 10 seconds before they disappeared in thin air.” Austin finished with tears going down his cheek. Austin heard sniffling and he looked at Dawn. Her eyes were red and tears coming down her cheek as well. She sniffled again and gave Austin a bear hug. “Oh Austin, I’m so sorry that happened to you! You must be taking all of this in still.” Dawn said sadly. “Pika pi.” Ash’s Pikachu said sadly as well. “That’s a lot to take in.” Ash said with a frown on his face. “Yes, even after an year has passed, I still have night terrors from what has happened to me. When I received a letter from professor Oak, I would feel better.” “You got a letter from Professor Oak?” The two said. “Yeah.” Austin replied back. “That’s pretty cool.” Dawn said. “Yeah, hey I know what we can do.” Ash said Hmm?” Austin asked curiously. “When I’m stressed, I always have a battle with my Pokémon.” “Okay?” “Do you want to have a Pokémon battle with me?” “A Pokémon battle?” “It’s where you and you’re Pokémon fight for fun.” “Should we wait until we eat first?” Dawn asked the two. “I don’t mind if we did a quick Pokémon battle.” Austin said. “Awesome!” Ash said excitedly. “Hey Piplup!” Austin shouted to Piplup. “Pip?” Piplup looked at Austin confusedly and walked over to Austin. “Would you like a Pokémon battle with Ash?” Austin asked Piplup. “Piplup!” Piplup said with an excited but also serious expression. “Great! Let’s go!” Ash said excitedly. Ash ran to an open field that isn’t far from where they are now, Dawn, Austin and Piplup following behind. “So let me get this straight.” A voice said. Jessie, James and Meowth were standing near an box with an screen emitting from it. “You found a child… that can shapeshift?” The voice questioned the three. “Yes sir. We believe that it might be a Pokémon disguised as a human child.” Jessie said. “And it can be an new Pokémon at your disposal sir.” Meowth said to the voice. “Hmmm…” the voice thought to itself. “Very well, capture the child and bring it to me, ALIVE. Even if this child is a Pokémon or not, it could be what Team Rocket has been lacking, unpredictable actions. Now, find this child-Pokémon, and you’ll be rewarded.” The voice said as the screen disappeared. When the screen disappeared, the three of them squealed with excitement. “Ohhh! If we get this child-Pokémon, we will impress the boss for sure!” Jessie said excitedly. “And while we’re at it we will grab Pikachu while we’re at it too.” James said excitedly too. “And grab the strongest Sinnoh Pokémon this region can offer.” Meowth said excitedly as well. The three of them laugh hysterically. “Now let’s find these twerps!” Jessie said as she threw her arm in the air. “Yeah!” James and Meowth said as they did the same. “Wobbuffet!” To Be Continued… Author's Note Hello everyone!
