Thunder Hero and Star Evolution
Chapter 1: New World (Aria)
I can’t see anything but I feel strange, I can also feel something sticky around into me. I bash my head into something solid. I bash against it again, causing it too crack. A faint glow shining through the hole. I continue to bash at the solid substance, after one final bash I roll forward.
I stand up only to notice strange long thin black noodles in front of me, I look around to notice I am in a deep dark cave. I turn back to see the cracked egg, behind me. I frowned (What am I? I’m not...) I grit my teeth, I remember now. I was shot by some scumbag who broke into the Academy.
I see another egg like mine land next to me, I look up to see a giant spider towering above me. I gulp, that is not good. I focus on the other egg, it cracks revealing a spiderling with limbs similar to me. It leaps at me, fangs out.
I dodge out of the way, I wince as I feel a sharp pain from my stomach. I’m hungry, I need to eat. I focus on the spider in front of me, I leapt on it biting into with my fangs. It tastes awful but the hunger compels me to continue.
I blink as information appears in front of me, EXP has reached level up threshold. LV 1-2
I feel myself be rejuvenated, Stats amplified. New Title unlocked Consumer of Relatives, Fallen Skill acquired, Demon Magic acquired. Poison Resistance had gone up from Leve1 1 to 2, Venom Fang goes up from LV 1 to 2. Skill Points 200.
I frown (Magic, huh not sure how to use that. Consumer of Relatives, I don’t like that but I guess I need to survive.) I internally grimace as several more eggs land, before cracking open revealing more of my new siblings. I decide to use this opportunity to bail, as I leave the cave I realise it was a small pebble under the mother spider’s web.
I rub my chin with one of my legs (What do those skill points do?) A black looking board appeared with one option, Inform. I select it, acquiring Inform requires 100 skill points. Do you wish to acquire Yes/No? I press yes.
I turn to a rock, and frown (Tell me what this is?) Rock. I shake my head and walk away, I need to find food. I suddenly feel pain shoot through my body as I felt an enormous weight press down on me. I feel the weight leave but I every part of me hurts. Am I going to die here? I force my crippled body to look up.
I see a humanoid figure wearing a blue tunic and carrying a sword that crackles with lightning. I grit my teeth as I try to stand (I will not die here!) Survivor Title unlocked, unlocked Elemental Resistance LV 3, Status Ailment Resistance LV 3, Environment Resistance LV 3, Adverse Effects Resistance LV 3, Suffering Resistance LV 3, HP Regeneration LV 3, Physical Resistance LV 3, Adaption LV 3. Status Ailment Resistance combined Poison Resistance LV 2 and Venom Resistance LV 1 to become Status Ailment Resistance LV 5.
Due to intensive Trauma Physical Resistance has reached LV 10. Physical Resistance has transformed into Physical Nullification LV, Physical Nullification has reached LV 7. Suffering Resistance has reached level 10, it has transformed into Suffering Nullification LV 1. HP Regeneration has reached LV 10, it has transformed into HP Rapid Regen.
I feel my strength return as the pain dissapeared, I grimaced (That was a human. If I that small that I almost die for being stepped on by a human then I am really weak. I should have died from that but I didn’t. I need to figure out why.)
My stomach growls at me, I need to feed. I scurry through the undergrowth, I see a small black ant carrying a leaf. My inform skill tells me that it is an Ant, talk about telling me what I already know. I sneak up onto it and bite into it interjecting venom. Once it stop moving, I start tearing apart it’s chewy flesh and ingest it.
A new skill appears before me as I eat. Ant Strength LV 1, increases strength by a multiple of ten per level. I smile (Well that is useful…) I then turn around to hear the sound of rapid movement.
I freeze for a second as I see three hundred ants running towards me (WHY ME! I JUST WANTED FOOD!) I scurried away rapidly, but the ants are faster than me. I brought to halt as I feel an impact, an ant had bitten on to my leg. I feel the others swarm over me. I start biting the ants that are attacking me (they are doing no damage? Is this the result of Physical Nullification?)
I fight my way through the Ants, tearing them apart. EXP has reached level up threshold LV2 to LV 10. Spider Thread has reached LV 9, Venom Fangs has reached LV7, Dancer reached level 2, learned Thread Control LV 1, Thread Control reached LV 4, gained 1600 skill points. Evolution threshold reached, Two options for Tiny Lesser Star Spider. Tiny Star Spider, Lesser Star Spider.
A visual of both appears, the lesser Star Spider looks like the mother spider while the tiny is much smaller but must be more evolved hence the loss of the lesser. I hide under the corpses of the ants, to give me a safe space to evolve. I close my eyes as I decide to become the Tiny Star Spider.
I awaken to the growl of my stomach, I frown as information appears before me. Fallen has reached LV2, Demon Magic has reached LV 2, Inform has reached LV 3. (I guess most of my skills are higher levels than the second class.) I consume the leftover ants and then scurry into another nearby log.
I sit there and sigh (After all things that could happen after my death. I hope my students made it out safely, my death should have bought them sometime.) I smirked (I broke that bastards arm at least.) I used my web ability to create a web inside the log, I then decided to sleep on the web and wait for any prey to enter.

Chapter 1: The Thunder Hero
I was at a gaming convention for the first time, I was dressed as Terry from Dragon Quest 6. My older sister came along as well so I “behaved”. She frowned “Mike, calm down. Mum would kill me if you got hurt.”
I rolled my eyes “I’ll be fine as long as I don’t run off, what is the worst that could happen?”
We walk through the conventions several others in their own costumes, the large hall had several stalls selling various things. My eyes widen as I spot a replica of the Sunderbolt Blade, the one thing I am missing from my costume. I point to the stall, a blond woman wearing Samus’ power Armour stood there with a smile “Let’s go over there.”
My sister sighed “Alright Mike. Just don’t get too carried away.” We go over to the shop, I am eyeing the sword.
The woman smiled as she pulled it out “$20 for it, it’s hobby so I don’t charge much for these.”
My sister smiled “That’s really cheap.” I smile as she places the money on the table, I take the sword and suddenly I feel strange as if I had fallen into water. I find myself next to a pond strangely dry, I look in it and see Terry’s face staring back at me. I blink in confusion, I look around to see a dark green forest around me. I see the scabbard at my side, I pull the sword to reveal the actual Sunderbolt Blade.
I laughed to myself “This is so Awesome!” I sheathed my blade as I walked along, I hear a squish sound as I walked through the vibrant forest. I ignored it as I look at the forest around me. Drops of water glisten on the leaves, I walk over to another tree and take a seat “This place is beautiful, to think I missed all of this playing video games all day.”
I frown as I hear screaming, I stand up and run through the forest in the direction of the sound. I find a two black maned equines with grey coats in a clearing. A huge grey lion with a scorpion’s tail and dragon wings had them cornered. I raised my hand drawing on my knowledge of games, I brought a bolt of powerful lightning down from the sky striking the beast.
The creature was smoking as it turned to me and leapt towards me. I dodged out of the way and drew my sword cutting into it’s side. I grit my teeth as it turns around and roars at me “Damn it! Why is it still standing!” The creature rushes at me cutting into my side (I shouldn’t have gotten distracted.)
I turn around and generate a huge ball of flames throwing at the beast. The beast roars in agony as I reach for my side, I wince as I feel the sticky sensation of my own blood, I then smirk as the beast is no longer moving. I stagger over to the duo who are standing next to a large bunch of firewood “Are you alright?”
The smaller of there two spoke in a feminine voice “We are thank to you, my name is Snow Crown and this is my husband Tremor. Come join us at our home.”
I noticed the horn on the mare, I took a deep breath before frowning “I have never seen a unicorn before. Your kind doesn’t exists back home, equines don’t have the intellect to speak back home.”
Tremor shrugged “You must come from a very strange place. Still you are welcome here, our son is still at home.” They picked up their firewood. They then helped me out of the forest into a vibrant plain with a few wooden cottages, each with a garden growing veggies. They took me to their cottage, they opened the door as a young colt with a horn galloped out.
He looked up at me “Who is this?”
I smiled weakly “My name is Mike. How about you tell me yours?”
The colt cheered “My name is Starswirl and I’m going to be a great wizard one day!” I smiled as I staggered into the cottage, he was a nice colt and would do great things in the future. Tremor helped me to a seat as Snow Crown levitated out a bag, she then levitated out a small bottle and some bandages.
I winced as she bandaged my wounds, I smiled when she was finished “Thank you for the help.”
Snow Crown smiled “It is no trouble, after saving our lives it was the least we could do.” She then sighed “I wish we didn’t have to go in there but medicine is so expensive that we need to make it. Unfortunately the medicine ingredients can only be found in that forest.”
I frowned “I’m honestly surprised you don’t find me strange?”
Snow Crown raised an eyebrow “A sapient simian is not that strange, much of our world is still unexplored.”
I frowned “I’m going to be honest with you, I’m not from this world. Magic is seen as fiction, this isn’t even how looked in my world. The abilities I used were things that I knew were from fiction.”
Tremor shrugged “It means nothing to us, we are simple farming folk. As long as you don’t go shouting it at the top of you lungs that’s fine. Those in the capital might cause an issue.”
Snow Crown nodded “Sadly most unicorns live in the capital and tend to see themselves as superior to Earth Ponies. I think it is ridiculous but they that’s the way of it, they take most of our yearly production.”
I raised an eyebrow “You are a unicorn aren’t you?”
Tremor frowned “We’ll talk more about this upstairs.” He looks to Starswirl who nods with a smile. I follow Tremor and Snow Crown up the stairs.
We entered the large bedroom with a single closet, two beside tables and a large bed designed for two ponies. Snow Crown sighed “My parents threw me out as soon as I got married to Tremor, since then they have been cracking down harder on us.”
I gritted my teeth “Bastards, why would they do such thing!”
Tremor spat “The old unicorn superiority, after the Pegasi escaped their control in the last revolution they have cracked down on us!”
I scowled “I think it’s time for a revolution of your own! Bring these bastards downs a peg!”
Snow Crown grimaced “If only it were that simple, Earth Ponies are separated into small settlements. Any sign of resistance will result in it being crushed.” I grumbled to myself, we will see about that.
