"At the fucking end of the world."
The bullets from the guns shot out with a thunderous sound, hitting anything that crossed their path, a soldier took cover behind a wooden box trying to avoid as many bullets as possible. His breathing was ragged, but after a few moments he calmed down, and so he came out of cover and with his submachine gun began to shoot in front of those men who started the horde of gunfire inside that building. The soldier's weapon ran out of ammunition, and those men in front of him took advantage of the moment to continue with their burst of bullets coming out of cover.
The soldier took cover again. And as he did so, he took the magazine of his weapon to check what was obvious... It was empty. Defeated, he just closed his eyes waiting for a single bullet to pierce his skull and end his suffering. But before his life ended as he thought it would, music began to play, he began to search with his eyes to find out where those rock tunes were coming from. Even the men who were shooting stopped when they heard that music.
The soldier turned his head in the direction of a door to his left, which curiously had the words "Equestria Girls" engraved in white and purple ink on it.
As the music grew louder, the door flew open, and a girl with yellow and red hair landed on it, using it to slide a few feet away from the entrance.
The soldier was confused. As if it wasn't weird enough to see a girl of probably seventeen enter in such style, the whole place, which seemed to be as dark as Gotham City, also lit up with bright colors.
The newcomer looked at the soldier with a smile on her face "Need cover, honey?"
Before she could receive an answer, the men on the other side of the building started firing at that girl. As if it wasn't something new to her, she began to run, but not before placing her 'L' shaped hand on her head and looking at the soldier, as if to remind him how pathetic he was at that moment. As bullets crashed right behind her. The girl with two-tone hair jumped and landed on the edge of a flight of stairs to start grinding on them.
Reaching the top of the stairs, he took a big leap and stuck on a wall only to defy the laws of physics and start running over it. While he was running on the wall. That girl pulled out a revolver from the back of her skirt and fired it in the direction of one of the men who was shooting, hitting his skull with blood splattering from his head forming the word 'Ouch' with it.
Without wiping the smile off her face, the girl jumped off the wall and pulled out of her black jacket a crowbar, which she used to hang on to a cable and move freely sliding down the cable with the crowbar in her hand. In front of him, on top of a couple of boxes, another man with a rifle started shooting at her, but she dodged by using her body to move from one side to the other. Just as she reached the man, she used both legs and hit the thug in his abdomen, sending him flying, while the word 'Shabaam' stood out above them from the impact, still carrying herself along that cable, from her jacket she took out a peculiar weapon, as it looked like a dragon's head. When he fired the weapon, a dart shot out, landing in front of two men. After a few moments, the dart exploded and sent both men flying.
The girl dropped from the cable and landed on solid ground. The soldier came out of his cover even more surprised by what had just happened.
"I think I've saved you and your dear little box" She said without turning her gaze, as she retreated from the spot.
A door was kicked open abruptly, and behind that door, the same girl walked out. At that moment, that girl noticed someone's presence.
"Oh, hey!!. Welcome to the amazing and awesome Canterlot City!!!" She said to the audience while around her some strange looking monsters started to climb the building where she was, but they just ignored her and kept poking around "As you may know, I'm Sunset Shimmer, I used to be a unicorn, but I was banished from my world and blah blah blah. You know how the story goes" At that moment, she found a chair and sat down in it without taking his eyes off the reader "Now, you may be wondering. How is it possible for me to know of your presence? And how did my life turn into a strange video game of the Xbox console? Well, if you're here, I'm sure you'd like to know" At that moment, a phone began to ring. Sunset pulled the device out of her jacket and answered it. "This is Sunset Shimmer, the one perhaps responsible for this disaster," she said with the phone in her hand.
"Sunset, where are you?! Fizzco is attacking our base!!! Come now and help us!" a female voice ordered abruptly. Sunset pulled the phone away from her ear to avoid being harmed by the screaming voice.
"Twilight, honey, I'll be there in five minutes from now. Maybe twenty if I find any more of those horrible things" Sunset answered and then hung up the phone. She then got up from her seat and walked to the edge of the building and looked at the onlooker "You know what? I thought my life was good before this whole mess. But now I'm sure I was living deluded This is for the best!" With that said, Sunset jumped off the building, just before she hit the ground, landed on a light wire and started to grind on that wire, heading towards becoming a hero again....

Well, I had a dream similar to this, so I decided to capture it in this story. This will be like an experiment, if I see that there are people who like this, I will continue with the story. See you soon!!

"You always have to start at the beginning."
Like every story that begins in the apocalypse, it all started with a normal day in Canterlot City. I, as was common in my life, was playing video games in my apartment. I know, it was nothing productive, but it was summer vacation, all my friends had something to do, like Applejack in her stable, Pinkie in her bakery, Rarity in her boutique, Fluttershy at the vet's, Rainbow was training with the Wondercolts, and Twilight was working in her lab. I felt like a good-for-nothing, being the only one who had nothing to do. So, in order not to feel so miserable, I opted to take a job as a janitor at a special concert that night. That concert was the presentation of a new drink by the company Fizzco. The energy drink, OverCharge Delirium XT, FizzCo. For a reason unknown to me, FizzCo decided to launch the drink exclusively in Canterlot City. And as you may know... It didn't go so well.
While I was still playing, my phone next to me started ringing, so I picked it up to see who it was, it was my great and beautiful friend Twilight Sparkle, so I quickly answered "Hello Twi" I answered happily.
"Hi Sunset, how are you?" She asked me kindly
"Good, you know, how are you?"
"Oh, I'm fine too, thanks for asking."
For a moment, there was an awkward silence, so I decided to break it "So...what's with the phone call? Don't take it the wrong way, I love it when you call me."
"Oh...Th-that's right, the call, heh heh" she said apologetically through the phone, which caused me to let out a small smile at how adorable she sounded "Well, I was just talking to you to see if you'd like to join me and Timber at the concert FizzCo is hosting tonight here in Canterlot City.... I heard it would be a big deal to promote their new drink."
At that moment, my smile faded from my face because of what I heard, Timber....A few moments later, I decided to force a smile "Sounds...Great, but, I have work that night, so I won't be able to attend with you, I'm so sorry..."
"Oh, I understand. You must attend to your responsibilities before your fun" She commented to me.
"Thank you for understanding...Besides, I think you two could use some alone time..." I joked with a somewhat mischievous tone. I could have sworn his face turned like a tomato at that moment.
"D-don't get your hopes up. I'd better leave you to what you were doing, take care."
I let out a small laugh so I could say goodbye "Bye".
With that said, I hung up the phone. What? You don't need to be James Bond to know that I really liked her, even if I didn't want to accept it at the time. But now knowing that I wasted a great opportunity to be with Twilight made me a little sad, and even sadder knowing that she would be with Timber ..... That guy...he can't even go ten seconds without looking at himself in a mirror!
I glanced sideways at my watch...five thirty in the afternoon. Well, I guess it was time to start getting ready for my new job...How I wish now that I hadn't taken it....
The long awaited night had arrived. The FizzCo concert had started, people were running around trying to find their place in the crowd, while those who were already inside were jumping and dancing to the music. Yep, it all looked so cool, too bad I had to pick up the trash.
Inside that concert, I, in my FizzCo uniform, was picking up all the empty OverCharge cans I could find on the floor and putting them in my trash cart, while with disappointment, I watched everyone having fun.
Just above the stage, a man with a huge mohawk on his head came in front of a microphone so he could speak, but not before slapping one of the girls who were cheering the concert on the buttocks. What a disgusting guy
"On behalf of FizzCo, I want to say that we are very happy to be able to share our new energy drink with the rest of the world in a few weeks" People started to celebrate for what that guy had said...Poor devils "But tonight, the ones that matter are you Canterlot City! You'll be the first in the whole world to get a taste of..... OverCharge!"
With that said, all the people around started grabbing a bunch of cans of OverCharge and just drank like crazy. Me being the janitor, I just walked around the place and waited for everyone to throw the empty cans into my trash cart. The more I walked, the more people started to push me as if they didn't notice me, or as if I was simply invisible to everyone's sight, while I watched as all the people drank their energy drink and had fun.
I got to a spot away from the crowd and pushed the cart out of sight. Then I leaned against a wall near me and looked up at the sky... At that moment I thought... What should I do with my life?
"Wow, I didn't know this was your job" I heard a very familiar female voice near me, I turned to my right and managed to see that not far from me was Twilight Sparkle. She was holding two cans of OverCharge in her hands.
I smiled slightly at her and looked down at the ground "I didn't want you to know my job."
She, with a smile, approached me and offered me one of the cans, I gladly accepted it "You shouldn't be ashamed...After all, it's a very admirable thing for you to work like this..."
I let out a small laugh "Thank you...By the way, weren't you coming with Timber?" I asked curiously as Twilight was alone at a huge concert.
"Yes, but he's in the bathroom right now, so I'm waiting for him" She answered me
"And how did you know where he was?"
"Well, I saw you walk by collecting all the cans of OverCharge, that's when I decided to bring you one, I knew you hadn't tried any because you were working."
Gosh! They are so kind and caring.... At that moment, I smiled "Thank you for taking care of me" At that moment, I decided to open the OverCharge can.
She repeated the same action "That's what friends are for" At that moment, we both clinked the cans and immediately, we started to ingest its contents. Really, it was too delicious, the orange gives it a very nice touch.
"H-help P-please!" We both heard a male voice approaching towards us, when we turned to see what was happening, we saw that it was Timber, who was holding his stomach in pain
"Timber!" Twilight quickly approached Timber and grabbed him between his shoulders "What's happening to you?!"
Twilight received no answer, but at that moment, I watched in disgust as Timber began to vomit some kind of orange colored liquid all over Twilight. She reflexively pushed the boy making them both fall on the ground, I approached Twilight to help her, but at that moment, what happened next, left us terrified....
Timber began to roll on the ground, but at the same time, his skin began to blister as he continued to vomit. After that, his body began to increase in size and his teeth were replaced by fangs.
As Timber's body continued to mutate, I looked to my side to observe a barrette, so I grabbed it and quickly stepped in front of Twilight, who didn't move because she was still in Shock.
"D-don't come any closer. Or I swear I'll use this!" Without receiving an answer, I watched as Timber had completely mutated into a gray eyeless monster full of orange blisters.
As if that wasn't enough, a holeada more monsters arrived behind the one who used to be Timber.
Knowing with what intentions those monsters were coming, I stepped back a bit and grabbed Twilight by her arm to try to pull her away "Twilight! We have to go!!!" At that instant, Twilight managed to come out of her state and started running along with me, to try to avoid death.
