The Mane 8 then show up to The throne room where they see Sombra on a dark throne.

“Here to face me with nothing but your wits admirable but foolish.” Sombra said blasting the Mane 8 only for Starlight to deflect his attack with a blast of her own.

“Well it looks like I gotta save the day again, I was hoping for you and I do hate being wrong although we are friends so we all win because friendship wins.” Starlight admits in a smug tone.

“Although most of the credit should go to Twilight she’s the reason we’re all here and she’s my best friend.” Starlight said happily.

Sombra heard this and aimed his blast at Twilight, Starlight saw this so she jumped in front of Twilight and took the blast for her.

“STARLIGHT!” Twilight cried out in tears while the others gasped.

“Please wake up, please wake up oh oh.” Spike begged.
Starlight’s eyes then fluttered open and Spike then embraced the unicorn.

“Gasp Starlight.” Spike said happily.

“I’m so glad you’re awake we can’t beat him without you.” Twilight said.

“You couldn’t beat me with her either.” Sombra pointed out.

Starlight tried to use her horn but she only made a spark.

“I can’t do it, I have nothing left to give.” Starlight said with sadness.

“That’s it then we’re doomed?” Applejack asked hopelessly.

“Of course you are it’s taken you this long to realize that.” Sombra said in a matter of fact tone. “Now how shall I eliminate all this clutter at my hooves?”

The ponies and dragon growled at the dark unicorn.

“Listen to me, you don’t need me, you don’t need the elements and you don’t need the princesses.” Starlight began speaking “Fluttershy you will always be kind, Rarity you will always be generous, Rainbow Dash you will have loyalty, Applejack you will have honesty with you, Pinkie Pie will have laughter where ever she goes, Spike will always have compassion, and Twilight will have magic, you’re all here together willing to do whatever it takes for Equestria and that’s all you need.”

“Hahahaha it’s going to take more than a simple little speech to beat me.” Sombra said charging up his horn.

“No Starlight’s right, I’m not afraid of you Sombra.” Twilight said.

“You should be.” Sombra said shooting his magic at Twilight who used her horn to deflect it.

“You may knock us down but we’re gonna keep getting back up again.” Twilight said.

“And again, and again.” Twilight said deflecting each blast.

“For our friends.” Applejack and Fluttershy started.

“For our families.” Rarity and Spike continued.

“For our homes.” Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dah said.

“For Equestria.” Twilight said happily.

The seven were then in a bright orb holding each other’s hooves and claws in Spike’s case.

“What no you can’t be doing this, I destroyed the source of your power.” Sombra shouted.

“You can’t destroy our friendship Sombra.” Twilight said.

“And we kinda keep telling bad guys this.” Rainbow Dash said.

“But y’all don’t seem to listen.” Applejack continued.

“Friendship IS Magic.” The Mane 7 said before using the beat disintegrating Sombra and freeing everyone from his control.
