When Solaire of Astora, the Sunlight Warrior, defeats Gwyn and sacrifices himself to the flame, he never imagined he'd wind up in a land brimming with pastel-coloured ponies. A vast departure from the battle-scarred lands of Lordran: but his honed skills as a sunlight warrior will prove most useful to a changeling-threatened Canterlot. His story does not end there, however. Relations and bounds shift: new foes will reveal themselves, and Solaire's upstanding, unwavering faith in both Celestia and himself will be pushed to the breaking point. While being a sunlight warrior fulfils his existence, he'll find out the hard way… that it ain't easy, praising the sun.
