Mikes POV :

After a while of walking we reached Ponyville the town was like a town in the medieval times simple houses with star roofs and it had a calming effect to it.

I wanted to go in because it seemed alive with ponies in what appears to be a market square and the everfree was the definition of survival of the fittest and boring and I think I was going crazy with my time there with the usual routine and no one to talk to and it reminded me of home.

We began walking into Ponyville when some ponies noticed me
and began whispering to each other. It didn’t take long before everyone was staring and whispering and it was getting on my nerves.

“This is Ponyville. How do you like it here Mike?.” RD said.

“It’s calming and nice but I don’t like the staring.” I responded.

“Well could you blame them?. It’s the first time they saw a creature like you.” RD said.

“I guess.” I responded.

We continued walking for a while but Applejack and Rainbow dash had to leave because they were late for work And they took Scootaloo and Apple bloom so I was left with Sweetie belle.

“So where do you live Sweetie?.” I asked

“I live with my sister Rarity, in carousel boutique. Do you want to come see it?.” Sweetie belle said while jumping and she seemed to want me to go with her.

To be honest I didn’t want to go but seeing her and how happy she was I couldn’t refuse.

“Sure” I said.

We reached Sweeties home after a while of walking and I was getting really nervous about the stares and the whispers but something was wrong.

“Why is there so many females while the males are rare” I thought while I assumed the slightly bigger ponies with more defined jaws were males.

But that's a thought for other times because Sweetie belle opened the door to the building and was waiting for me to follow.

I looked at the building and it was big and it was definitely a boutique. I walked and was about to go in when I saw the white horn pony from the first time I met the kids in the door and looking at me with wide eyes as I walked and was near them.

“Sweetie belle dear why did you bring this animal from the everfree here?.” Whitey said oblivious to the fact that I’m sapient.

I was honestly confused because in the first time I brought the kids back to them I was sure that they will ask questions and the kids will tell them that I’m sapient but that’s not the case apparently.

“Hey I’m not an animal” I said while acting irritated so she could feel guilt for my amusement.

“OH sorry darling I thought you were an animal from the last time I saw you covered in blood though you changed a little with the I have to say Nice muscle you built over the month.” Whitey said as she looked me up and down checking me up like it was nothing and blushing a little.

“Uhhh thanks I guess?…. Name’s Mike by the way nice to meet you Mrs.?” I said. and presented my hand to her

“Oh nice to meet you too Mike darling I’m Rarity.” Rarity said as she took her hoof and I grasped it and shook it.

“Oh my what a grip you don’t seem like a stallion at all darling.” Rarity said.

“What does that mean?.” I asked confused.

“Oh nothing darling here get inside I have to thank you properly for saving my sisters life. Would you like some tee?.” Rarity said.

“Sure thing and I would like tea please if it’s not a bother.” I said

We walked into the boutique and rarity guided us towards the guest room and we sat down and rarity was about to get some tea when Sweetie belle asked.

“Hey Mike I noticed that you have canines but you also have grinders so do you eat meat or plants?.” Sweetie belle asked casually like it’s nothing and rarity looked at me and her eyes widening.

“I can eat both Sweetie I’m an omnivore but I can’t go into an only meat or only plants diet or I will be very sick.” I responded and rarity seemed to calm down a little but I think I saw suspicion in her eyes.

Rarity went and prepared the tea and waited for it to get hot while she got back.

“Oh why do you wear clothes on your lower body?” Sweetie asked.

“Well I don’t have fur like you guys so I wear clothes to keep me warm.” I responded.

“then why aren’t you wearing clothes on your upper body?.” Sweetie Asked again.

“Well I left it back in the forest I made a pillow out of it so I could sleep.” I responded.

“Oh darling you have to let me take your measurements so I can make you some nice clothes.” Rarity said.

“I will have to decline on the offer it’s seems nice but I don’t have a way to pay you for it.” I said.

“Don’t worry about the payment darling it’s the least I can do you saved my sister and a simple set of clothes is not enough to pay you.” Rarity said.

“I will still decline thank you for the offer Rarity.” I said.

rarity went back to the kitchen and brought the tea but how she brought the tea was crazy.

“What is this how is the tea pot and the cups are floating?.” I asked.

“Oh its my telekinesis darling.” Rarity responded.

“Wait so everyone has telekinesis?.” I asked again.

“Oh no darling only unicorns can do telekinesis because we can use magic freely.” Rarity said.

“YOU USE WHAT!.” I said while standing quickly.

“Magic darling please calm down.” Rarity said after being startled by my sudden outburst.

“Oh sorry about that but wow man magic.”

“You haven’t heard of magic before dear?.” Rarity asked.

“No actually it was only fiction from where I came from.” I responded.

“Oh where do you come from dear.” Rarity said.
“Uhhh I don’t want to talk about it.” I said because I didn’t want to tell them that I died one time and now I’m here.

“It’s alright darling”. Rarity said.

We began drinking the tea and I have to say it was great. Rarity surely knows how to brew tea.

“So darling I’ve been meaning to ask you something.” Rarity Said.

“What is it?.” I said.

“Well darling are you male or female?. I’m simply confused you have big muscles yet you have nipples.” Rarity asked.

“I’m actually male and what do you that I have nipples that’s normal?.” I said.

“Oh no darling stallions Don’t have nipples why do you have them?.” She asked.

“Actually male humans always have nipples it’s normal for humans.” I said

“Oh that does explain some things.” She said.

I finished the tea with a smile.

“Well then Rarity thank you for having me but I’d hate to intrude so I’ll be leaving. does this town have a library?.” I said.

“Yes dear we do it’s the big tree in town just north from here.” She said.

“Well then have a good day.” I said as I walked towards the door and left and looked to the north and saw the tree and began walking towards it.

I walked and noticed something strange because of my perception skill. I noticed that the males walk submissively and act girly yet it’s the opposite for the females they look at males and sometimes I noticed some catcalling.

I ignored the thing I saw but I couldn’t ignore the stares and whispers some mares looked at me with strange looks and some stallions looked at me with disgust and… do I see jealousy too?.

well I don’t care either way and continued walking towards the library ignoring the stares as best as I could but my perception skill wasn’t making it easy on me I can sometimes feel some emotions and they weren’t good all of them. Fear, hate, disgust.

It’s really nerve wrecking but I managed to look calm and walked with pride.

I reached the tree and walked towards the door and knocked at it a few times and heard some clopping on wood sound and heard a mumble.

“What’s with everypony here you realize that it’s a public library right?.” said the female voice and opened the door.

“You don’t need to kno-” she looked up and saw me and stared at me for a minute.

“So… can I go in” I said nervously.

“Wha- oh oh sorry right come on in.” she said and stepped aside and I walked in and saw the home/library and it was cozy the smell of oaks was nice and the purple pony I saw in the everfree smelled strong of lavender and her coat was slightly
damp.

“Looks like she got out from the shower few minutes ago.” I thought then remembered that I haven’t had a real shower in so long it was only the river for me.

“ummm…. h-how can I h-help you si- MA'AM” she said and corrected herself when she saw my nipples.

“first thing first I’m male and is there some books about this place?.” I said.

“Oh forgive me for that and yes there are a few books about Equestria or ponyville.” she said.

“What's the matter with the puns in the names?.” I thought.

“Great does this library has a place to read or do I have to take the books with me.”

“Yes, it’s the table over here. What book do you want and would you like to have something to drink with the book?.”

“No, thank you but I will decline.”
“Here you go” she said as she handed me the book and I took a seat and opened it and began reading.

“So this is Ponyville in the country Equestria in the planed Equus.” I mumbled to myself and the whole time I was reading twilight would check on me and with my perception I saw that she was nervous about something and I assumed that she was either worried about me stealing or damaging the books so I broke the ice.

“Hey I’m not going to steal or burn the books calm down you’re making me nervous with how nervous you are.” I said.

“I’m not nervous Mr…” She said.

“Mike. And no need to play cool with me I know you’re nervous and would you please calm down I will do nothing.” I said.

“Well Mr.Mike sorry about that but I’ve never seen something like you. I’m Twilight by the way.” She said.

“Well it’s nice to meet you Twilight and now that I’m finished with this book I want a book about magic.”

“You can use magic?. But you don’t have a horn.” She said.

“No I cannot use magic I just want to know how it works.” I said.

“Why?.” She asked with a hint of suspicion.

“Just curious.” I said.

She looked at me for a few seconds and turned around and got the book and handed it to me.

“Excuse me if I seem rude but I still don’t believe you so if you don’t mind I will sit here and watch you.” She said.

“Sure.” I said.

I opened the book and in the first page was written

I didn’t understand anything from this book maybe that’s why I need my intelligence skill it was hard it’s written in english but the explanation is complete gibberish.

I looked at twilight and at the book then at twilight again then an idea popped in my head.

“ummm… Twilight can you explain this to me please.” I said while blushing because I’m embarrassed by my lack of intellect.

“Oh wow you weren’t lying about just being curious.” She said.

I just looked at her with a smile.

“Sure thing so this is the first chapter in this book.”

After Twilight explained the book to me I kinda understood most of the chapter but there was some stuff that was completely not understandable.

“Thank you Twilight I don’t know what I would’ve done without you.” I said and stood up.

“Well I’ve taken a lot of your time I hope I wasn’t a burden.” I said.

“No no no you weren’t I love teaching stuff. and I love it when ponies actually understand.” She said the last part with a mumble but I heard her.

“Ok then see ya.” I said and went and opened the door and was surprised with a purple lizard with green spikes looking up at me.

“Oh hi.” I said. and it kept looking at me and gaping before Twilight could introduce us.

“Welcome back Spike I think that you saw my guest this is Mike. Mike this is Spike my number one assistant.”
“Hey there Spike.” I said.

“uhhh… hi Mike.” He said back.

there was an awkward silence and we just stood and looked at each other.

“Well it was nice to meet you Spike but I gotta head back home.” I said.

“Oh you live here?.” Twilight said.

“No I live in that forest over there.” I said and pointed at the forest.

Twilight gasped. “The everfree?. But it’s dangerous out there how could you live there it’s filled with manticores.” She said.

“Ohhhhh so it’s you.” Spike said.

“What do you mean.” Twilight said.

“Today I was at Fluttershys and she told me that the animals told her there was a strange new creature in the everfree that could kill the manticores like they were a foals toy.”

Twilight looked at me for a second and I noticed awe coming from her.

“But how I don’t see any claws I see canines but not big enough.” Twilight said.

“That’s a secret.” I said.

“Apparently he became the apex predator of the everfree.” Spike said.

“Well then time to go.” I said and quickly got out and began walking towards the everfree and I noticed that it was almost night time and the marked was closed.

then I figured something.

“Goddamn it…. FUCK.” I said.

“What’s wrong?.” Twilight said.

“I don’t know where my place is.” I said.

“isn’t it the everfree?.” Twilight said.

“Yes, but I don’t know where to go to get to my camp.” I said.

“oh….” Twilight said “Well you could stay the night here and look for your camp in the morning.”

“No no no That’s so nice of you Twilight but I simply can’t it would be rude you already helped me enough.” I said.

“Oh don’t worry about it. it won’t be a problem I have a spare bed.” Twilight said.

“Thank you…” I said.

I’m lying on the spare bed that twilight showed me and she already went to sleep Spike too but how could they get to sleep so early I wasn’t even tired yet.

“I’m going to go take a walk.” I said.

I’m walking around ponyville when the box appeared again.

Mana is the amount of magic that is in you and it will run out if you use too much and when you use too much you won’t be able to use any magic related skills.

currently you have 100 mana. To increase the amount of mana you have you need to practice your magic and meditate and if you use a skill too much after a certain amount of usage of a skill it will take no mana because you’re used to it.

MANA CHANNELING.

It is currently the only mana related skill you have what it does that you channel your mana into a part of your body and it will harden and become stronger if you channel too much mana into a the body part it will turn black and when it does that that’s the maximum amount of mana the body part will handle the amount of the mana the body part can handle will increase as you level up.

To unlock more mana skill you need mana crystals these will be given to you when you kill a monster and it will drop the crystal when you take it you need to break it and it will be stored in your body and the rate the monsters drop the crystals and the chance of the monster dropping a crystal depends on the strength of the monster to unlock the mana skills every time you purchase a new skill it will be dropped as a book that you need to read and understand to unlock the skill that’s why it’s recommended to increase your intelligence to increase your intelligence you can play intelligence dependent games like chess or read science books every time you finish a science book your intelligence will increase.

Mana regeneration.

It’s fully dependant on food when your mana is not full when you eat it will fill.

“Oh wow that’s a lot of information but very useful.” I thought.

“Well since I have nothing better to do let me practice my channeling skill.” I opened my status and saw my mana currently at 100.

I began focusing on my hand and forearm and imagined some sort of energy going to it and I felt a tingling sensation on my hand.

I imagined the amount of the energy that my hand is receiving is so too much and it began spilling out.

I looked at my arm and saw it completely black it was like it’s invisible in the night and looked at my mana and I was shocked to see it take 50 of my mana.

“well better make the best of it.” I said and went to the forest and punched a tree and my hand went into the wood and the tree fell fast.

“Oh wow I feel like I used 20% of the strength I normally use to make a tree fall with one punch.” I said.

So I kept looking for a minute and saw a boulder.
I walked towards it and punched it will all my might.

there was a small crater on the boulder and cracks ran everywhere across its surface and it began tumbling and it fell into pieces.

“Oh fuck me this skill is useful as fuck.”

I turned off my channeling and turned it on again using every mana I have left and turned it off.

“well I gotta focus on my mana this time then I will focus on my level once more.
