Starlight under the spell/Berry's sister

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

Berry and the girls continued to look for Starlight. Berry could not help but feel terrible about what he was going to do. He looked up hoping the falcon was gone, but it wasn't. It gave him the same intense glare, almost as if it was waiting for him to slip up and tell. I could shoot it, but those kinds of birds are some of the fastest and I don't know how to aim with a gun. speaking of the gun, Rainbow Dash was holding it looking ready to shoot.

"You know how to shoot that thing, or are you going to shoot yourself in the foot?" Applejack asked bluntly.
"I told you, I know how to shoot!" Rainbow said annoyed as she waved the gun around. "I'm really good at fps games so I'm totally good at the real thing."
"Oh ok, so you your a pro at fps. That totally makes you certified to shoot a gun." AJ said sarcastically. "And please don't wave it around."
"I don't suppose any of you girls have a keycard or something?" Berry asked. Sunset shook her head.
"Same," Berry said. "All I got was that gun." As they continued walking, they heard two guards talking around the corner. Rainbow saw this as her chance. She loaded the gun and slowly walked towards the corner. Getting ready to shoot.
"Make sure you're not holding the gun backwards," AJ said. Rainbow rolled her eyes and carried on slowly walking.

Rainbow fired the gun, but missed. Luckily she ducked around the corner just in time. Rainbow couldn't believe she had just missed her shot.
"Rainbow! Are you crazy?!" Rarity hissed. "Give me that gun!" She snatched the gun away from the athlete.
"Hey!" Rainbow complained.
"They're coming this way!" Berry said as he peeked around the corner. Twilight used her telekinesis to knock the two guards to the side out cold. They continued thier search for Starlight. Berry could not help but look up to see the falcon still watching him.
48 hours Chance's voice repeated in his head over and over again.

"So what are we doing here?" one of Chance's henchmen asked. They were waiting in the back of Canterlot theater. Waiting for Berry to show up.
"We're going to be testing a few things while we wait." Chance said. He held a black crystal in his hand. "Starlight, come over here," he ordered..
As he said that, a girl walked towards them. She had a light green shirt, a black vest, gray pants, and black shoes. She also has a magenta hat on her head and a watch on her left hand. It was none other than Starlight. However her pupils were pure black and she had a red aura around her. She didn't say a word as she stood there. She was under a spell.

"From what I've been told, she's invincible." Chance said as he took out his switchblade. He approached Starlight, and with one smooth motion, made a cut on her left arm. She bled like any normal human, but she didn't scream. She didn't even flinch. What happened next surprised everyone. The gash on her arm instantly started to close up and the wound closed, healing completely as if she had never been cut in the first place.

His henchmen stared in shock. Chance grinned to himself. He took out his gun and pointed it at her head. He pulled the trigger. The recoil knocked him back, but Starlight didn't even have a scratch on her head. His phone started to ring again. Chance answered it.
"This is Chance speaking." He listened for a few minutes.
"Yes, I've told him. He has 48 hours.....I know, I know no need to worry about those girls, I think Starlight here could take them out pretty easily."
He hung up. He held the crystal. "Starlight, go back in the truck."
Starlight instantly obeyed and headed back. She got in the car and sat down.

Deep within the building of the ChaoticCorps was a three year old girl. She had light blue eyes, long brown hair, and wore a blue skirt. It was none other than Berry's sister, Lily. In her left hand she held a teddy bear. She cried in her cell. She didn't want to be here.
"I miss m-my mommy and daddy!" She cried out loud. "I want Berry!" A guard pounded on the cell door.
"Shut up in there!" he shouted. Lily continued to cry softly. She missed her home. She wanted to go home with her brother, but she knew there was no other choice. Thier parents had died and there was no place they can go to. She started to whimper.
"Please Berry, help us get out of here.." she said softly too herself. Since she was only three, she didn't have a power yet. All she knew was once they were done with her, they are going to sell her by trafficking. She cried thinking about it. The place was filled with Guards: There was little chance of escaping. At least she had some company. Also in the cell was an 8 year old girl. Red hair, emerald eyes, she wore a green t shirt with leggings. She was another good friend of Berry. Her name was Amber. Another was a boy the same age as Berry. Blonde hair, blue t shirt and jeans. It was Des. Amber went over and comforted the crying girl. Lily pressed her head on the girl's belly and hugged her waist.
"shhhh.....shhhhh it's ok.....it's ok.." she said softly.

"I know everything will be alright," Des said. "Berry would never forget about us." Hearing Berry's name caused Lily to start crying again, who was then quickly shushed by Amber, as she hugged the poor girl and rubbed her back.
"Just don't give up hope ok?" Des asked as he kneeled down to Lily's level. "Once we are free, we can do what we desire, does that sound good?" Lily nodded with tears in her eyes. "But....me and Berry have no where to live...b-b-beca..." she started crying again. Des kneeled down and hugged her.
"OUR PARENTS ARE DEAD!" She sobbed out loud. Amber put her hands over her mouth. Des felt terrible for the little girl.
"I am so sorry..." Amber said softly as she took Lily and shushed her again.
"One day...we will be free...I promise," Des said quietley.
