During the interbellum period between the Arcturian Order's victory over the Dread League, and the inevitable conclusion of the investigation into the assassination of the late Headmaster Torygg, a ghoul goes about her life in the occupied city of Magehold. Seeking comfort and reformation in faith, she is called to help with an investigation by the church regarding the Headmaster's death. Through her faith in Arcturius she forms a bond with another veteran, gaining confidence in herself and the strength to speak of the atrocities she took part in for the sake of the investigation.
