A summer sun celebration in Ponyville.. Good memories, isn’t it? Maybe I can see my friends again.. I can’t even believe how long it’s been. The last one of my friends I’ve seen was Rainbow Dash. And that’s been over a year ago. I remember everything. All the life lessons I’ve learned from them… All the letters I’ve sent to you, my mentor… Why do we have to grow old? And someday pass off? I realize it’s to keep balance, but growing older and leaving behind past memories is hard. Writing letters back then was so much easier. Finding out the Magic of Friendship. Well, I don’t look forward to returning to Ponyville, and not seeing any of my friends. But as I said long ago, I have to believe in my friends… I know they’ll turn up.

I’ve been feeling sick… I’m sneezing every second, and I’m really getting worried. At first, I thought it was allergies… I’m not a doctor, but I know this is turning into the magic flu. A type of sickness that has the effects of the flu, but also blocks your magic. I really hope this doesn’t stop me from going to the Summer Sun Celebration. Since I don’t have Spike around, and my magic is week, I can’t find any books on it at the moment. Maybe it’ll go away tomorrow if I get a goodnights sleep…

My condition is getting worse. I’ve been in bed all day.. The doctor says there’s no known cure.. ShiningArmour stopped by today and suggested I wait next year, but I can’t wait next year! This is the only time I may see my friends all together again! I can’t miss this opportunity! I have to keep pushing through, no matter what the costs are… Spike comes back today from checking the preparations for the Summer Sun Celebration, so hopefully he can find a book for me to look this topic up on… My mouth is sore… I’ve never had to write without magic before, so this is very hard for me… Ill just rest now…

I can’t write. I can’t do this. The pain is killing me. Spike told me that since there is no cure, I could be brought to fatal death… Right now, Spike is writing for me, and I don’t think I can write for you again.. The Summer Sun Celebration is next week…. I’m going to let my friends down.. I’m going to miss it….. No matter.. Ill be there.. I promised I would be there, and I will be there, no matter what..

Uh, hello Princess. This is Spike writing to you. Twilight requested for me to write for her, so you can keep up to what’s going on with her. Well, she had just gulped down 5 bottles of water. She’s burning up. Today is Friday.. So that would be… 7 more days until the Summer Sun celebration? Well, I’m about more then positive that Twilight won’t make it. The poor guy’s been breathing heavily, and I can’t do anything but sit and watch.. I don’t have anything else to write.. So I guess ill write to you tomorrow..

She hasn’t been up all day. She’s actually only been up once, and she didn’t say anything, all she can do is nod or shake her head. I’m worried. I told Twilight she isn’t going to die, she’s gonna be fine… She even made me Pinkie Promise. I remember Pinkie Promises.. Not as clearly, but I remember it somewhere back there.. Anyways, she hasn’t been eating good, she drinks a lot of water, but she doesn’t eat well at all… She eats, if that is what your asking. I know you’re on an important duty, and somepony is threatening Canterlot, but I’m begging you. You have to come see your student.. She’s near death, and I don’t know what to do.

She’s.. I don’t even know anymore, when it may seem like she’s gone, she makes a sudden breath. She’s struggling for her life now, and every breath might seem like her last. Please Celestia, do something. I don’t want my mom to die, not now. Please. Ill do anything, ill give up every crystal in the world if it means to save her life… Goodnight Princess..

I realized what has happened. Twilight has passed off.. I can’t do anything about it… And there was nothing you could do about it.. Her time has come… But look, she has kept her promise. She is going to the Summer Sun Celebration. She is going to always be with her friends. Her life has drifted off, but her spirt remains. She will be watching me, you, all of Equestria.
