Balance opened her eyes, she was tired for a strange reason. He remembered the draconequus and the blast that took his strength away. And the necklace, the color, Balance felt that something was happening; and the necklace was involved. He tried to get up, it was an attempt in vain, when he turned his head he found that he was bound with chains. His neck was tight with a huge necklace. She was totally chained, she noticed that she was not alone.

Princess Cadance was also tied up, she was much more tired since she last saw her, then she guided her gaze to the other end of the dungeons, there was a lilac alicorn, with pink and purple streaks in her hair.

Balance wanted to use his magic, but nothing but sparks came from his horn.

"I recommend you not to fight, you will never get out of here. Never" was heard a voice echoing from the walls. "The more you try, the more you drain your energy, and in the end, you are left with nothing. The two princesses must tell you, from their own experience of course.

The voice laughed in a demonic way.

"¿Who are you? ¡Show yourself!" Balance roared, it was true, she was becoming more and more exhausted.

The voice kept laughing, until it came out of the darkness.

"I see we meet again" for once, Balance recognized the voice.

"Unfortunately".

The Shadow King raised an eyebrow wryly, stepped closer, and his figure was disguised behind bars.

"¿What is your magic?" he asked, it didn't sound like a friendly question. Balance chose not to respond.

King Sombra snorted under his breath.

"¡Answer back!".

"¡I will not do it!" Balance got up and faced him, the chains heavy, but she wouldn't let anyone abduct her forever.

Sombra looked at her intently, then vanished into the shadows again. Balance fell to the ground, exhausted.

Balance made a bitter effort to get back up, but was stopped by the glow on her cutie mark. She turned her head to her, noticing how her darkness glowed brightly.

"Oh no...". Whisper. "No, no, no, no!

He.

Balance could feel his presence approaching, could see how he was fighting in his cave in the dark beyond. And the chain that held him broke.

Duke Maniac had been released.

Balance let out a sob, then leaned forward, lifting his chin into the air. The magic of his horn flashed, the chains snapping, exploding up to the walls and smashing them to pieces. The chain on his neck broke into two pieces, falling to the ground. Balance's wings unfolded, she had healed herself.

When he stepped on the ground, he saw the princesses again. She undid the chains and released them, saw how the violet princess opened her eyes.

"¡I have to go get my friends!" he spat, waking up fully.

"Go ahead, but help her first," Balance exclaimed, pointing at Cadance.

The alicorn nodded. Balance flew to find a way out, an iron door was what he was looking for. He bent his horn up to her and broke her, right away. She searched with her gaze for some presence, but was interrupted by a voice.

"¡Waiting!" the two princesses were coming after her.

"Good to see you again..." Cadance muttered, still exhausted. Balance nodded somewhat concerned about the state the princess was in.

"¡We have to look for the others!" ordered the other alicorn.

Equilibrio knew who it was.

"You must be the princess of friendship, Twilight. ¿Right?" he asked, determinedly. Twilight nodded lowering her ears with a sheepish smile.

Twilight's face changed expression, staring at a point in the room. Balance turned her head and a huge light warned her. The three princesses were trapped in a green vaba that made them wince in horror.

And there she was, Queen Chrysalis.

"Oh, what do we have here, two insolent princesses and a random one" his voice grew louder, he approached them; raising Twilight's chin wryly "You ..."

"¡You'll never get away with it, Chrysalis! ¡Princess Celestia-!" Twilight was interrupted by the queen's malevolent laugh, one that wasn't good news.

"¿Princess Celestia?" he repeated bitterly, taking a few steps back, "She and her 'little sister' will not be able to save you. None of you!

Chrysalis snorted walking up to the throne, Balance noticed that they were no longer in Ponyville. He remembered the two brothers and the little dragon. Chrysalis sat on Celestia's supposed throne, and stood tall with a wicked smile on her lips.

Twilight emitted a moan from when the vaba began to climb from her hooves to her waist, she tilted me everywhere; trying to get rid of the slimy thing. Cadance also kept pace with Twilight, leaning to either side wanting to break free from her grip. Equilibrio did not move, he realized that if he moved it would make the situation worse, he meditated for a few seconds, seeing how the vaba got stronger every time the princesses tried to get rid of her.

He would have to use magic.

But not with Queen Chrysalis present. He did not know if he was going to lock them back in the dungeons, or if he had a plan in mind to carry out with them. He could only use the plan that crossed his mind: cast a spell towards the throne, and immediately make a triple transport to Ponyville.

Balance softly cleared his throat, drawing the princesses' attention.

"Don't move, they'll get worse and the vaba will swallow them up." Balance suggested, keeping still and watching the princesses immediately obey her for survival. "I'll do a simple spell, but I need you to keep up with me.

Twilight and Cadance nodded determinedly, Balance bit her lip and focused on Chrysalis and the throne, seeing how the queen was distracted by one of her changelings. Balance narrowed his eyes and attacked.

Queen Chrysalis was thrown off by the blast that Balance sent. She made a spell again preparing for the transportation, but was interrupted by the sudden scream of the queen, she stepped out of the rubble that the power of Balance had caused, and walked with firm steps towards her.

Equilibrio's legs hit the ground, suddenly, Queen Chrysalis disappeared from his field of vision, a new figure was added.

He was no longer in the throne room, he was elsewhere. The flames were huge and hot, behind the flames came a huge and strong figure, especially dark; Duke Maniac.

A terrified gasp came from Equilibrio's lips, fear had gripped her. "No, no, no, I banished you ...". She murmured, suddenly the thin corner of Duke's lips changed to a confused expression.

Balance's eyes fluttered, watching the scene pass before his eyes. The figure of Duke was replaced by that of Chrysalis, who saw the alicorn with a frown and showing fangs. Equilibrio staggered to his feet, glancing at the princesses who were in it. Queen Chrysalis leapt up to the alicorn, defiantly. Equilibrio threw himself to one side, shaking off the queen by a miracle.

"¡Here!" Balance heard, seeing that the voice came from the princess of friendship.

Balance got back up and ran, his leg striding free of the sudden magic Chrysalis had tried to use, he heard a squeak of frustration on his part as he passed through the front door.

The three alicorns ran through the castle, looking for the one. They noticed that the guards were totally possessed by something or someone, the only question left in their minds was: ¿Had they also possessed the others?

¿How was it that so many villains were in Equestria? Balance wondered, she didn't know who it was, of course. He had spent a lot of time in the mountains, he had missed every adventure, every sunrise and sunset. From the distance I could sometimes see the full moon, but it was totally cloudy, only its brightness was visible.

Cadance used his magic to break the door, noticing that smug glances fell on them, they chose to use flight. The ponies were totally possessed, their eyes were green and gloomy, it seemed that there was no consciousness ...

When the three alicorns leapt into the air and raised their wings, the ponies tried to hold them back. A stallion unknown to Balance grabbed his hoof with no good intentions, Balance let out a screech from his throat and rocked back. He saw how Twilight was totally grabbed and thrown, Cadance was the only one who had freed herself.

Several mares and stallions came up to Balance, their wings doing their best not to fall off.

With his magic he ran some ponies, doing them no harm. Equilibrio felt sorry for those citizens, totally out of their consciousness, being manipulated at will.

She was waiting for the perfect moment for a new battle, it was not a friendly enough word, but Equilibrio longed for all her battles, and more for the dark ones.

No, she couldn't let his darkness affect her, she must control her thoughts.

"¡Twilight!" Cadance screeched in agony, trying to get closer to the princess. Balance shook his head and jerked free of the ponies. Seeing how the princess was being attacked by possessed ponies, she immediately cast a teleportation spell.

The princesses breathed a sigh of relief, Cadance slumped to the ground, totally exhausted. Twilight glanced at Cadance, then turned to Balance.

"Thanks". She uttered, Balance nodding politely. He looked at the sunset and then at the cave they were in, he supposed they were inside a great mountain, inside an abandoned cave. The view was amazing. Equilibrio looked back at the princesses. "I heard that the draconequus was reformed, a being of chaos. If it was really reformed, ¿why did it attack me?" He asked, in a firm tone full of intrigue.

Twilight sighed, then her lips moved.

"We really thought he was, especially Fluttershy, she really considered him her friend" the princess paused, the answer came, Twilight's gaze hardened. "Then a dark presence came to Ponyville, Queen Chrysalis, then Cadance discovered that King Sombra had returned to the Crystal Empire. Tirek also returned ... And it was all because of the failed deal."

"¿Failed deal?" Balance asked, adjusting pieces.

"Cadance begged for a peace treaty, harmony, love and friendship should reign in the Crystal Empire. She summoned King Sombra, the Empire's arch enemy, then Chrysalis, who posed as her on her own. wedding ... Then to Tirek. "Twilight looked at Cadance, who was already asleep exhaustedly on the floor, closed her eyes opening her mouth." She mentioned to Princess Celestia and Princess Luna that there was hope in them, I also believed her I supported her, but they betrayed us again.

"No one expected Discord to join them, when the villains joined forces to destroy us, my friends and I decided to use the magic of friendship against them, but no ... it didn't f-it worked ..." the princess's voice he cut himself off, Balance came over and put his helmet on her shoulder, comforting the princess. "Cadance mentioned bringing Grogar back, but when we saw that the three villains had turned against ... We had no choice but to evicting the Crystal Empire. We tried to do it with all of Equestria! evicting the ponies was best for their safety.

"But we were late ..."

The princess sobbed, then tears came to her sweet eyes, totally exhausted.

"Don't give up, the hope Cadance saw may still be there, despite their dark souls." Balancing stammered, the princess wiped away her tears and smiled
determinedly.

"I will not do it".

The night had fallen like a shooting star, the princesses slept away from the cold, totally tired. Equilibrio stayed awake, admiring the night and its stars. He put his head on his hooves, still seeing them.

He tried to get some sleep, what little he could did nothing about it. She was still tired, maintaining a slight headache due to nerves.

She closed her eyes again, and sleep overcame her.

His dream was more of a nightmare, the water was under his feet, the more he walked the more he was in the dark, and the light was slowly moving away. A soft melody passed her ear, giving her soft strokes, then the strokes became soft scratches.

Balance leapt to the side as a dark figure approached her.

"We will see each other again soon ..."
