~~~
Jacob is walking to his next college class when the mist overcomes him. Cherilee, done with her teaching for the day, is taking a stroll through the Ponyville park when the mist envelops her.
Jacob is transported atop a large cliff and takes a look at the land. Cherilee is transported in an unknown section of land at the bottom of this cliff.
Jacob attempts to get help with his phone, but it has no signal, then decides to leave the cliffside in search of someone. Cherilee is confused and begins wandering aimlessly whilst calling out. Cherilee after realizing her situation, decides to search for a landmark that could perhaps help her. Jacob reasons this as well.
LANDMARK: Giant waterfall that resides at the side of a cliff North to them.
Jacob, tired, rests himself upon a willow tree in a clearing of the woods and rustles through his bag. Cherilee, hearing him rustling, approaches from the woods and observes him. Deciding whether or not this creature was dangerous, after observing how sad he was, decides to reveal herself. Jacob is startled and is frozen still. He reacts with bewilderment at the pony in front of him. Asks questions about her nature, and what she wants. Jacob secretly grabs a stone from near the tree and clutches it in his hand. He asks her where they are; she doesn't know. She tells him that her students will be so upset if she doesn't return home. Jacob loosens his grip on the stone. He asks about her school.
Jacob drops the rock from his hand and offers to help her. He suggests advancing towards the large waterfall, to which Cherilee notes was her same thought, and they agree. Jacob however, is still weary, and command Cherilee to remain 10 feet behind him at all times. As they move, Cherilee attempts to strike a conversation and eventually leads Jacob to reveal where he came from.
Walking through a very dense location of abnormally shaped trees that beared large and sharp thorns, Cherilee suddenly stops and screams and startles Jacob as he turns and runs to her (as she was a distance away after stopping) He asks her what the problem was and she points to the corpses of the two dead diamond dogs. Jacob denotes that these two were murdered, and presses Cherilee to continue. She however, is a bit delirious, and bickers that they should bring them help. Jacob argues that they are clearly dead and finally convinces her to continue. They now realize this land is indeed out to kill them for they are not alone.
They eventually stop and rest near a collection of downed trees and Jacob sits upon a log. He informs her that he may have some food of some sort in his bag that he carried with him. As he dumps the object out of his bag, Cherilee questions him about the various textbook in it, including the "Criminal Law: Cases and Materials." He reveals that he was studying to become a lawyer, and then pulls out two chocolate candy bars. Cherilee retorts in saying how she considered a career in law, but soon decided that teaching children was more her style. Jacob gives Cherilee the other candy bar and they sit to eat.
As they continue, Cherilee converses with him some more, but this time, closes in on him and walks beside him. Jacob does not object as he speaks cautiously.
