Once upon a very long time ago, long before the nations and beliefs of faithlessness consumed the world, the creatures were visited by a wonderful angel: Truth. And because of Her, all races lived peacefully among each other. They competed, but they didn't feel the need to kill one another. They flourished, but they were not tempted by greed. They made great strides towards their mutual perfection. However, just like that, the 'Old World' was all gone, with, seemingly, not a single trace of it being left behind.

What of today? The people bear names that mean nothing. They praise 'gods' for whom they have no clear indication of their nature or usefulness. Unknown beings poison their veins, beings that should not be...

Yet the questions remain, unanswered: What was there before? Who are the creatures in reality? And why did it all end up so?

For Rosa Maledicta, a unicorn necromancer who pondered about all of this, a great journey begins.
