Chapter the Thirteenth: Return to Form

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

After Twilight's pretend session in the throne room, she returned to the public eyes to talk to the populace at large, and to do a bit of casual shopping. A new crystal dress with accessories to match were coming back home with her at the end of this trip.

With the sounding of the train whistle, she rushed to the station. She couldn't wait to see Shining and Cadance again. As she arrived, she saw Shining step off the train into the platform. "Shiny!" she waved.

Shining's face suddenly turned to a smile. "Twily!" he ran forward and hugged her. "I didn't know you'd be coming. I'd have told you that I was busy."

"Flurry requested a book from my private library. I was just bringing it up to her, and figured I'd just wait for you and Cadance."

"Yeah, about that..." Shining scratched the back of his neck. "Cadance stayed behind for a few extra days to help them deal with a problem they were having. She won't be back until Wednesday."

"Why didn't you stay, too?"

"I trust my wife. She's tougher than she looks. Besides, I promised Flurry that I'd come back on time. I love my wife, but I love my daughter, too."

"You're a good father."

"And you're a great aunt."

As they turned and walked back to the palace, Twilight smiled at the wordplay. "I didn't know Flurry had kids." She had her mane tousled for that.

Twilight stuck around for dinner, a delicious corn chowder. She kicked of both of her shoes off to lock toes with the two entities flirting with her under the table. Flurry was being a bit more aggressive, but above the table, she was very quiet, and anypony that wasn't under the tablecloth would be unable to tell that this was just a normal dinner.

After their meal, Shining of course offered Twilight her usual guest room, which she gladly accepted. When night fell, the secret doors opened, and the siblings embraced each other once more, drawn into a deep, passionate kiss. As they came apart, they gazed deeply into each others' eyes.

"I really missed this," smiled Twilight, lighting up a few candles with her horn. "You and me, alone together."

"It's not that Cady's interfering was really such a bad thing," nodded Shining, turning on the gramophone and adding a record. "Honestly, she just wants us to be happy. You can't fault her for that."

"No, but it's nice to have some alone time once in a while." As the sounds of a piano and upright bass filled the air, she pressed her cheek against his chest. "How long has it been since it was just you and me?"

"A few years," answered Shining, wrapping his arm around her shoulder and gently swaying to the music. "But you're right. All of the crazy, frenetic sex in the world means nothing if we can't just sit back and enjoy each other's company."

"So you want to have less sex?"

"Let's not be hasty. I love having sex with you, Twilight. I have since the first time we did it sober. I just wish we had more time to dance like this."

Twilight couldn't help but to smile. He was a big softy at heart, helping her to fall in love with him all those years ago. This was one reason why she could never stay mad at him.

As the electric guitar slammed its way into the somber jazz piece, and a trumpet began to sound alongside it, Twilight held her brother tight. She never wanted to let go. She wanted to stay in his arms as long as she could. She was his. As the song faded away into the ticking of a clock, she craned her neck up and kissed him again. "I love you, Shining Armor."

"And I love my Twily." They stood there for a moment before Shining began moving them toward the bed. He lay Twilight down on her back, and gingerly began unbuttoning her shirt with his teeth. It was a slow, deliberate process, but his commitment to it made Twilight quiver in anticipation. She could feel his breath on her chest as they stared into each other's eyes. She loved it. It felt so intimate, so caring, and so gentle. In response, she grabbed the key to his zipper between her toes and slipped it down the teeth, then undid the button in the same manner.

They'd done this a great many times before, and soon, without any involvement from their hands, they were almost undressed. Shining's member had been pushed through the slit in the front of his boxers, and Twilight was only in her panties and bra. It was time for the piece de resistance. Shining positioned his head between Twilight's outstretched thighs, licked a few times against her wet cotton panties, then sucked the fabric into his mouth, gripped it gently between his teeth, and pulled them down to her ankles, and then off. Both were hot and bothered, both were ready to jump each other, but as Shining's lips came back up to meet hers, there was a knock at the door.

"Auntie Twilight? Are you still awake?"

Twilight and Shining looked at each other. Clearly, neither wanted to stop, but they couldn't just leave Flurry out there. With a soft sigh, Twilight kissed Shining on the cheek. "Blindfold yourself and wait on the bed. I'll be back as soon as I can." She rushed back to her room, hurriedly threw on a pair of panties and a long, conservative nightgown, closed the secret door, and opened the hallway door to let Flurry in. "What's wrong?"

Flurry sent a burst of magic into the room. "Now, that was sexy."

"What was?"

Flurry pushed her way in and closed the door. "The way he pulled down your panties with his teeth. I haven't seen that move in a long time."

"What did I say about watching us?" scowled Twilight.

"You said not to take any more pictures," smirked Flurry, innocently. "And I wasn't taking any pictures. I was watching. There's a difference."

"What do you want, Flurry?"

"Well, I was going to tell you go easy on him because he's wearing a butt plug, but since you blindfolded him, I have something else come up that I need to talk about."

"I spotted the plug, actually. He kept his heels up the entire time we danced. Dead giveaway."

Flurry's face contorted into a smile that made Twilight very nervous. "Yeah, it was pretty obvious. But now, we're going to have a slight change in how the night goes."
