The Love Triangle

Twilight was pacing through the library stressed, she and Starlight were now dating and she had no idea what to do for their date.

Spike then walked in to the library to find Twilight pacing around the library.

"Twilight are you okay?" Spike asked concerned for his big sister figure.

"No Spike, I don't know what to do for mine and Starlight's date and I'm totally panicking what if she thinks it’s terrible, what if she decides that dating me was a mistake and doesn’t love me anymore?” Twilight asked scared.

“Twilight I know for a fact that no matter what happens Starlight will always love you.” Spike comforted.

Twilight then calmed down after hearing that “You’re right Spike, Starlight does love me and I’m gonna prove that I love her too.” Twilight said motivated.

“That’s the spirit Twilight, and don’t worry our friends will be there to help us out.” Spike said happily before leaving to go to the map table.

Twilight then walked over to the map table where the Mane 5 were waiting.

“Thank you girls for all coming, now I need to plan the perfect date for Starlight.” Twilight said happily.

“Of course darling we are happy to help you with your issue.” Rarity said with reassurance.

“So let’s go over what we’re meant to do, Spike you’ll be the waiter, Pinkie Pie and Applejack will make the food, Fluttershy, Rarity and Rainbow Dash you’ll be be decorating this room for our date.” Twilight said looking over her list.

“You got it Twilight.” Applejack said happily.

“Thanks everypony I knew I could count on you.” Twilight said embracing her friends.

“Ooooooooooh Twilight is on a little date I hear, and she isn’t including me in the preparations if I weren’t so reformed I would be offended.” A voice said from above.

The girls and Spike then saw Discord on the ceiling, the draconequus then floated down to the map table.

“Discord what do you want?” Twilight asked angrily.

“Well a little Fluttershy told me that you were going on a date with Starlight Glimmer; and I thought I should help out in some way.” Discord said happily.

“Besides I owe you and Starlight after I tried to take over the school and sent you on that fake friendship quest so please let me help you.” Discord said in his knees begging.

“I say we give him a chance.” Fluttershy said.

“Ugh fine Discord you can help us, but if you so much as ruin my date being stone will be the least of your worries.” Twilight threatened making Discord literally shrink.

“Of course Twilight I would not dream of ruining your date so what should I do?” Discord asked happily.

“I guess you can help Applejack and Pinkie Pie with the food.” Twilight said begrudgingly.

“I was thinking me and Spike should distract Starlight since she’s hanging out with Trixie and I think we should make sure Trixie doesn’t try anything intimate with our little friend.” Discord suggests sincerely.

That line made Twilight stop in her tracks.

“What? That’s crazy Trixie would never try to get between me and Starlight hehe.” Twilight says nervously.

“Oh Twilight I know you don’t believe that, don’t worry I’ll cover for you.” Discord says happily.

“Fine if it means so much to you, you can go distract them but don’t do anything drastic to them.” Twilight replied.

“You got it Twiggles, Come on Spike let’s go make sure Starlight doesn’t cheat.” Discord says wrapping his tail around Spike before he teleports himself and Spike away.

Twilight then bites her hoof in worry before Rarity pats her on the back.

“Darling Discord is just being Discord he clearly is just joking around with you.” Rarity explains confidently.

“Maybe you’re right Rarity I just can’t shake the feeling something is up.” Twilight sighs out.

Meanwhile Trixie was hanging out with Starlight at an outdoor restaurant with a sly smirk on her face she knew Twilight and Starlight we’re dating but she didn’t care, she figured she deserved Starlight more than that princess so she decided to try seducing Starlight.

“Ah Starlight isn’t it nice to be here together as friends?” Trixie asked suggestively.

Starlight however didn’t catch onto this and said “Yep it’s nice to hang out with you Trixie.”

“Yes so what should we order?” Trixie asked eyeing Starlight up and down.

“How about the hay burgers they are positively delectable.” Discord said appearing on his own chair.

“Oh hey Discord and Spike what are you two doing here?” Starlight asked happily.

“Yes what are you doing here?” Trixie asked with her eye twitching a bit which Discord smirked at as he knew he was ruining Trixie’s little plan.

“Oh well I’m here to keep you busy Starlight as we all know you have a date with Twilight.” Discord said happily while smirking at an annoyed Trixie which Starlight didn’t seem to notice as she was in a lovestruck state.

“Oh yeah, I can’t wait, I’ve had a crush on her for a while now and now I finally get to date her, eeeeeeeeeee I’m so excited.” Starlight squealed happily.

“Well I’m certainly glad you’re excited. Twilight wants your date to be a surprise so we can’t go to the castle until later.” Spike explained.

“Oh that’s fine, so what do you two want to do until then?” Starlight asked happily.

“Well we can always hang out at a place I always go to after we’re finished here it’s a club don’t worry there’s no alcohol that way we won’t do something we regret.” Discord said winking at Trixie specifically which she glared at.

“Well I’d like to go, how about you Trixie.” Starlight said happily.

Trixie then began thinking Well if I can’t be with Starlight alone being with her and her annoying friends is probably enough for me.

“The Great and Powerful Trrrrrrrrrixie would be happy to accompany you Starlight.” Trixie said happily.

“Great, but first we should probably eat.” Starlight said.

“Oh of course.” Discord said before teleporting himself and Spike away.

Finally they’re gone now it is time for me to work my magic. Trixie thought smirking.
