False Accusations: Chapter 1.

My name is Michael Summers, the lone resident human of Equestria, friend of the princesses and elements of harmony.

I landed in this beautiful world two years ago, although I do not remember why, or how.

I got to know my former friends very well, just as they got to know me.

One day, while I was out and about I came across two ponies, a mare and her foal, both of which were dead. I did not know who this mare and her child were.

Other ponies came across me standing over the bodies and accused me of murdering and assaulting them, when in fact they had no proof of me doing such a thing. Because I would never think of harming a woman or a child back home, and I would never harm any pony here at all.

I was tried in a court by Celestia and Luna, they found me guilty and banished me to their form of Hell, Tartarus. Which is also a form of Hell back home in the Greek mythology.

How could my friends, whom I came to love almost like sisters, like family do this to me? Why would they think I'd do something like this? Why didn't they believe me?

If they find the real culprit, I'll be glad but I won't forgive them. Ever. Because that is not how a friendship works. If they accuse you of something you never did then they are not a real friend.

I will never accept their apologies, I don't trust them anymore, they were like family, and family would never do this to each other.

In my eyes, ponies in this world are just as bad as humans, they act pure and harmless but they are just as bad as humanity can be.

***************************************flashback***************************************

"Michael Summers, you have been convicted of double murder and assault. How do you plead?" Celestia asked sternly, narrowing her eyes towards him in anger and hatred.

"Not guilty! Celestia you know I'm innocent! Why would I murder ponies? What have I got against your species? Do I hate your kind? No. I love your species, they remind me of what mine could be like if we became a peaceful and kinder species than what we currently are now!" I argued, trying to point out the factor of why I would murder a foal and a mother.

What would I even have against her personally? I didn't even know her or her child, therefore I had nothing against her meaning I didn't kill her.

"Only a select few species such as minotaurs and griffins have digits similar to your fingers and hands, you are the only digit-based being in Canterlot and those bruises seem like something you could cause with your strength." Celestia stated, trying to make me admit to a crime I never committed.

"Michael Summers, we find you guilty of murder and assault. Your punishment is to spend the rest of your days in Tartarus for what you did." Celestia finished angrily, igniting her horn and blasting me with the needed spell to send me to Tartarus.

"Celestia stop! You know I'm innocent! You can't do this to me!" I reasoned, hoping she would understand and realise what she was doing.

Flames licked all over my body, burning my skin to a charcoal black, pain filling me as I lost the ability to speak due to the immense agony I was feeling due to the now rising flames.

His body began to slowly lower into a cell in Tartarus, locking him in there for as long as she deemed necessary. Celestia sighed and closed the portal, teleporting out of the room to sleep.

"Why would he murder one of us?" Twilight asked sadly, sniffling at the thought of her friend betraying her like that.

"I am afraid we do not know. But a piece of a ring he once wore was found on the mare and the piece fits perfectly. I'm sorry, Twilight, but I'm afraid it was his fault and he is guilty. I know this must be ever so hard for you." Celestia stated, attempting to comfort her student and niece-in-law.

"I want to be alone for a while." Twilight stated sadly, teleporting out of the room and back to her castle of friendship where she lived after Tirek destroyed her library and previous home.

Why would he murder one of them? The idea of comitting such a crime made her shudder in disgust and anger.

"Hey Twilight, where's Michael?" Spike asked his big sister and friend. He was good friends with Michael and looked up to him like an older brother.

She had not told her assistant and brother/son what he had done, hearing it would break Spike's heart and cause him to fear Michael.

"Spike... Michael had to be banished to Tartarus because he committed a very serious crime." Twilight answered sharply, anger filling her voice.

"What did he do?" Spike asked nervously, now afraid of the banished human.

"He murdered a pony and a foal, he also hurt them. And as punishment we sent him to Tartarus for the rest of his days." Twilight answered sadly, as Spike ran towards her and sobbed into her as she held him comfortingly. It broke her heart to see him so upset like this.

"I'm so sorry, Spike. I also can't believe he'd do something so horrible." Twilight whispered morosely, holding him as he cried into her, matting her fur.

The two stayed like that for about an hour. Holding each other for comfort.

*************************************Two years later*************************************

The two exited the castle and walked down the streets of Canterlot to where the bodies of the mare and the foal once laid. The duo paid their respects in silence.

What they didn't notice was that in the corner of their eye, a green-eyed changeling snickered and hid back into the darkness.

Spike swore he heard something near them, but shrugged it off.

Twilight's ears pricked up at the sound of slolwy rising laughter. She followed the sound of the laugh and noticed a group of changelings standing over another mare's now dead body, with a small piece of the metal from Michael's ring as they laid it on the corpse and laughed manically. Walking away with a smug smile at framing Twilight's friend.

The group noticed her and spike, the duo's jaws dropped in shock and anger. It was the changelings all along!? They cloned a piece of his ring and made out he murdered the mare. She was furious, but felt complete regret for what she had allowed to happen to him.

Twilight summoned a quill and a piece of paper, and gave it to Spike.

"Spike write to Princess Celestia and Luna that we found the real culprit. That it wasn't Michael like we believed it to be." Twilight whispered as Spike finished the letter and sent it to the princesses with his fire breath.

"Well, well, well. Look what we have here. It seems you caught me and my children, Princess." Chrysalis stated, smirking at framing the human and tricking the ponies.

"How could you?" Twilight growled, fury taking over her mind.

"It's simple, I wanted to divide and destroy your friendship with him and make him look like he killed a pony so that you would blame him and send him to Tartarus, which would give me enough food for my children and I to survive for quite a while. And also so that I can take over this kingdom as it's rightful queen." She answered, not noticing Princess Celestia arrive and trap her in a cage to take to the dungeons.

*************************************In Tartarus*************************************

Michael sat alone. Time had passed by daily for him. He'd been in a constant state of anger and pain. He was lucky he hadn't gone insane and desired complete revenge on them all. He managed to hold onto what remained of his sanity. However much of it had remained.

His body became skinnier over the two years that had passed, he had not eaten or drunk anything in the long amount of time that he had been inside of the cage within Tartarus.

His eyes, or what remained of them were sore and swollen due to the long lack of sleep that his body rightfully needed, he looked like a skeleton that had just began to rot away. His body had begun to smell a sickly sweet, smelling of death and decay.

This was not life, this was sickness.

He began to hear muffled voices, and assumed he was going completely insane.

"We need to get him out of here! he doesn't deserve to be here anymore than he's been forced to!" Twilight cried to her mentor sadly, trying to look for him.

"I know Twilight, I know. We will get him back home and out of here. He deserves the best apology from all of us." Celestia eased her student, remorse controlling her at this point.

Michael was already wishing for death at this point. What point was there to living if you was going to be forced to suffer eternally for a crime you never committed?

He just hoped he'd die here and not have to be in agony anymore.

He sighed sadly, and closed his eyes in a restless sleep, letting his soul free of it's dying container. Now he would be free of this eternal pain and suffering that he had been forced to live with in this pit of darkness, death and despair.

"Michael if you can hear us, bang on your cage or yell to us. We're going to get you out of here. We are so sorry for everything that's happened to you because of us." Twilight cried sincerely.

Twilight waited for a reply, and never got one, She and Celestia eventually found his body, or what remained of it.

The once handsome human looked like a dying corpse, the rancid smell disturbing the two ponies. Scars covered his body, leaving opened gashes that had remains of dried blood on them. One of his eyes was missing due to decay, they would have already thought he was dead if not for the rasping breaths he took weakly in a failing attempt to stay alive. His remaining eye held a dull, broken and forlorn expression. There was no spark of a soul behind them anymore.

"Oh faust, what's happened to you?" Celestia sobbed as she put a hoof over her lips in horror, shock and sorrow. She felt awful about what happened in the court those two years ago, she didn't listen to him and hear him out. She wasn't a true friend like she had once been to him. She, her sister and the elements had accused someone so smart and wise of such a crime. She had come to love him as a romantic partner as well as a friend.

Twilight sobbed into her teacher, heartbroken at the remains of her friend as the alabster mare held her comfortingly.

"Celestia, I-I'm s-so s-sorry!" Twilight wailed, stuttering as she cried into her aunt-in-law.

"Twi...light? Is that you?" I asked weakly, getting up slowly. My aching and decaying muscles making it hard to even move.

"Michael, you're still alive?" Twilight asked in horror at how he had survived, no innocent being deserved such pain forever.

"Yes...still alive, unfortunately..." I answered weakly, coughing as my body began to decay worse, bones cracking as I tried to move.

"We're getting you out of here." Celestia said, as she and Twilight combined their magic to try and get him out of the prison.

"Leave...me...be...Let...me...die" I answered weakly, my fornlorn expression unwavering and unable to change expression due to my facial muscles rotting away in the flames.

"Why? Why do you want to stay here to die? You're innocent! You don't deserve this!" Twilight argued angrily, tears blurring in her eyes.

"You all think I'm a murderer... a monster...monsters deserve to suffer." I replied tiredly, my voice droning out the words one syllable at a time.

I tried to help protect Equestria, and this is how I'm repaid?

"You're not a monster! You're innocent and we're getting you out of here!" Twilight yelled at him as she sobbed, they had driven him insane

"Yes...I...am...a...monster. I answered sadly. They all thought I was a monster. They assumed about me.

"You are not a monster, you are a human who is loved by us. We are so sorry for everything we said and did to you in the courtroom." Celestia replied sadly, hoping he would be able to forgive them for what happened.

"I...cannot...forgive...you...for...what...you...did" I wheezed. still angry at them. I'll never be able to forgive them for what they did.

"We found out who the culprit was, it was Queen Chrysalis and her changelings! They framed you!" Twilight screamed, tears still blurring her eyes.

"Don't...care...leave...me...to..die...here" I weakly stated, refusing their help. I want to die here alone.

My vision went black as I felt myself be encased in magic, Celestia's magic. My body was wrapped up in bandages and left in her private chambers to slowly heal and recover. I know I won't heal and would die this night. A kind mercy on my innocent soul.

He found himself in a void of complete darkness, as it slowly began to glow a bright white. Michael found himself on the step of Heaven's gate.

"Michael Summers, your time in this world is not over just yet. You are an innocent soul for what you were convicted of. You may have done bad previously in your life, but I wipe your slate clean with my mighty hand." A loud voice boomed.

The human awoke, his body stiff and unable to move. He felt a tingling sensation flow through his decayed body, new cells replacing his dying ones as his body began to renew and heal itself.

I let out a loud scream of pain as my organs and skin began to regrow on and inside my body, my eyes and hair regrowing along with them.

My body renewed and repaired itself thoroughly as I began to feel sensation in my limbs, fingers and feet again. The remaining white light evaporated into thin air as I walked over to Celestia's dresser and looked myself in the mirror on the table.

My body looked like it used to before I was sentenced to eternal suffering and torment in Tartarus. The memory of each passing day over those two years that I had been in Tartarus angering me, making me feel more distrust and hatred for these ponies.

I can never forgive any of them, they may regret what they did but they can't undo it. I will forgive them when i think they have redeemed themselves enough in my eyes.

"Michael, I am so sorry for not taking your side." Celestia whimpered to me, hoping i'd forgive her so easily just like that.

"I can't forgive you Celestia. You hurt me. You meant a lot to me and you betrayed me. You left me in there to die alone. Why did you even save me? I wanted to die in there alone!" I yelled to her angrily, i'd rather be in there alone than be with these lying and traitorous ponies.

"I'm so sorry, Michael. I know you don't want to believe me but I am very and truly sorry. I love you, as a friend and something more." Celestia answered regretfully.

"And that would be?" I asked, raising a brow in confusion. Why would she imprison me if she loved me?

"As a romantic partner, as a coltfriend." She answered sadly, placing a hoof on my cheek as she caressed it slowly.

"I love you. So much." She whimpered tearfully, hoping i'd forgive her.

"I don't feel the same, I don't want to be around you or any pony for that matter." I coldly snapped, glaring at her in the same way she glared at me in the courtroom.

"Speaking of which, how did you recover so fast?" She asked me, shocked at how I looked completely fine.

"Unknown force healed me, no clue how or why but it just happened." I shrugged uncaringly.

I left her chambers and decided to use one of her spare guest rooms. After climbing into the bed, I sighed and fell asleep, it had been a stressful, painful and tiring day for me.
