My Little Pony: Drama Is Magic

Starlight, Spike, Trixie, Owen, Noah, and Cody were seeing Twilight and her friends off as they went off on their Friendship Retreat.

“I am so excited for this friendship retreat! I can't remember the last time we all got to hang out without having to save Equestria.” Twilight said happily.

“Well, we are awesome. But technically, we weren't the last ponies to save Equestria.” Rainbow Dash said pointing at Starlight, Spike, Trixie, and Cody who smiled.

“I was speaking in a broader sense.” Twilight said giggling a bit. “You sure you don’t wanna come with us?”

“Yeah I have some comics to catch up on.” Spike declined the offer.

“And I promised Trixie I’d help her practice magic it’d be better if the castle was empty if you know what I mean.” Starlight whispered.

“Relax if anything breaks Starlight will just use mind control on us to fix it.” Trixie joked obliviously.

Owen’s mouth was agape, Starlight nervously giggled and Twilight, Spike, Cody, and Noah glared at Trixie for her insensitive comment.

“Kidding.” Trixie said with her eyes shifting.

“So not that I’m not grateful, but why are me, Owen, and Cody all here again?” Noah asked Twilight curiously.

“I came to see the magic show Trixie was gonna make.” Owen said happily.

“Well that and because you three are in charge of Starlight and Trixie, I think the two need some supervision so Trixie doesn’t do anything out of Starlight’s control.” Twilight explained.

“Fair enough.” Noah shrugged his shoulders.

“Cool. I’ll see you all later.” Twilight said leaving.

“Twilight wait, Starlight has something for you.” Trixie said levitating a pretzel bag out of Starlight’s saddle bag.

“Huh?” Twilight asked peeping out of the train.

“Here I brought you snacks.” Starlight said awkwardly.

“Ooh pretzels, I’m so jealous.” Owen says happily.

“Oh thank you we will not get hungry on the train.” Twilight awkwardly returned.

“It was supposed to be tea cakes but-“ Starlight looked at Trixie a bit angrily though the show mare did not seem to notice. “It’s a long story, have a good time.” Starlight said.

“You too.” Twilight said happily before going inside the train as it went off.

Starlight, Trixie, Spike, Owen, Noah, and Cody were all back in the castle.

“Okay Trixie what spell did you wanna work on next?” Starlight asked kindly.

“Well, every self-respecting magician has a disappearing act, so maybe we could start with that.” Trixie answered happily.

“Hmmm. Nothing just disappears, so that's technically a teleportation spell, and those are pretty hard. Maybe we should start with something smaller.” Starlight said with some reluctance.

“No no no, the Great and Powerful Trixie goes big or not at all, just tell me how you do it.” Trixie says boastfully.

“I don’t think we should do that.” Noah warns angrily.

“Says who?” Trixie asks angrily.

“Says me, I am in charge and I say we don’t do the teleportation act.” Noah argues annoyed with Trixie.

“Well I am the Great and Powerful Trixie and I say we should do the disappearing act.” Trixie said angrily. “Besides I answer to no one.”

Starlight’s horn began flaring as the arguing was annoying her which Cody noticed and raised an eyebrow at.

“Owen did you see th-“ Cody began to whisper before Owen began speaking.

“ENOUGH!” Owen shouted.

“Look Noah, can’t we just let Trixie do her little act, maybe if she promises to just teleport something small and non-living like an apple?” Owen said trying to break up the argument.

“Fine, I guess that’s safe enough.” Noah rolls his eyes.

“I mean it won’t be as impressive but alright.” Trixie rolls her eyes.

Trixie then turns to Starlight “Teach away mini-Twilight.”

Starlight groaned a bit at this.

“Well I always found that magic is tied to my emotions whatever I’m feeling fuels whatever I’m doing and the stronger I feel it the stronger the magic.” Starlight said

“Right like when you were so upset cutie marks took away your friend your magic was strong enough to create a village and remove other ponies’ cutie marks.” Trixie said turning away with a smile.

A red cloud then started forming with her horn alerting Spike, Owen, Noah, and Cody but then the cloud disappeared.

“Yep thanks for the reminder.” Starlight said with gritted teeth.

“See I’m already learning now where is that apple?” Trixie asked leaving the room.

“Starlight what was that red magicy cloud forming on your horn?!” Owen asked incredulously.

“I don’t even know I’ve been trying to suppress it but it keeps coming out it’s made of my anger that’s all I do know but I need to contain it so it doesn’t do who knows what to Trixie.” Starlight said before teleporting a bottle over using it to contain the anger.

“Or you could just tell Trixie the truth.” Spike suggested as if it was obvious.

“But how do we know if letting it all out will help it’ll probably make things worse, and if she knew what I was thinking she’d probably never talk to me again.” Starlight said in shame.

“Well if that’s what you feel you need to do then we’ll hide the truth from Trixie.” Cody said happily.

“Thanks guys you’re all great friends.” Starlight said embracing the boys and dragon in a group hug.

Unlike Trixie. Noah thought with bitterness.

“Alright the Great and Powerful-“ Trixie began announcing before Noah cut her off before she further upset Starlight.

“You have returned we get it just put the apple on the table and don’t screw up.” Noah commanded bitterly.

“Fine jeez.” Trixie rolled her eyes as she levitated the apple on the table.

“If you could learn the spell before the girls got back you could be setting some sort of record.” Starlight said happily.

“Challenge accepted, alright concentrating on the magic doin’ the spell.” Trixie said before Starlight looked worried.

“No Trix wait.” Starlight tried to stop Trixie but before she could Trixie used her teleportation spell hitting the Cutie Mark Map, which disappeared in an instant.

Starlight then fell over fainting and Trixie then weakly said “Ta da.”
