Hope is at the door when you come and leave
[9:00am rainy day outside covered in mist and clouds, chance of thunder coming soon.]
stargazing outside the window as the sky started dropping tears amongst the earth washing the time of yesterday, Time...its a very unique yet important gift that has been bestowed upon us for our very lives as living beings yet there just isn't enough time give specially when it comes to friends and family.
Fluttershy looking up at her window lost in thoughts she could not get herself out of nor could she stop herself from even thinking something bad without making herself tense and nervous, Today was the day she was having company over but it was as though she was scared what might happen when her visitor comes by.
What were they going to talk about? Does this person hates her after what has happen before? Will they even become friends in the end? This kept making her more nervous the more she thought about it the more she regret the decision she made. "I think this wasn't the best Idea...but rainbow did say they have been trying to turn over a new leaf so they must be friendly...right?" Fluttershy told herself that keeping herself calm until she heard a knock at the door causing her to jump, They were here already?
But it wasn't even time yet, Fluttershy wasn't truly prepared for her visitor at all and She didn't even prepared any tea or sorts for her company. Fluttershy covered her face panicking getting herself more stressed out of the situation, Lost in the thoughts that stolen her from the waking world that was all around her has now have her brought back to the present. "Oh...what kind of host am I if I don't have any drinks or desserts ready for my guest? I'm such a fool...they might even think of me differently."
Fluttershy ashamed for not thinking of her guest, She couldn't just send them away after coming all the way over to her house just to come see her. She was about to have a nervous break down until she got interrupted by the knock at the door again hearing a younger voice calling out to her, "Hello? Is anyone home? I brought snacks....and tacos."
It was no other then the youngest siren in the group Sonata Dusk, Fluttershy was surprised to have the younger siren to come pay her a visit at this time of day but the question that also stood out was why would sonata come visit her of all people and why at this time? Pinkie Pie would had been the best choice to hangout with because she was the fun in everyone's lives, Fluttershy couldn't be on the same level as her for all she could do was be there for her friends through rough times and make every situation all better.
Yet fluttershy still felt as though she couldn't do enough for her own friends to make them feel more safe and happy when she's around, She knows that they say good things about her to make her feel better but do they truly mean the things they say or they just saying it because they feel bad for her? Fluttershy shook the thought away as she makes her way towards to the door to open it as she is greeted with a cheerful smile from the young siren, "Hey flutters, I hope I didn't come by to early or anything. I brought snacks over for the both of us to enjoy."
Fluttershy looked at her for a few seconds then open her mouth to say something but was cut off by the sound of someone saying "She you're problem now!", The older siren yelled out driving far away leaving the other two silent looking at each other figuring out what is next. "Umm...may I come in?" Asked sonata with a half smile giving out an aura full of calm happiness, Fluttershy thought to herself realizing that she had her guest in front of her and didn't even welcome her in her own home.
Fluttershy apologized for keeping her waiting outside in the foggy mist rain and told her to make herself home. "I'm truly sorry about this but I-I didn't making any tea or cookies...sorry." Fluttershy was ashamed she wasn't ready for her guest to arrive after day dreaming and reminiscing she was going through in her own mind, Sonata shook her head smiling placing the bags she had brought over on the table in front of Fluttershy.
"It's okay, besides I brought snacks over just for the two of us. To be very honest I really didn't know if you wanted any snacks at all but I wanted to be generous and bring something over." Sonata rubbed the back of her head chuckling as Fluttershy smiled thinking it was very nice of her to do that. "That's nice sonata but you really didn't have to, besides I was the one who was supposed to make cookies and tea for the two of us but I-I got lost in my own little world."
Fluttershy looked away still feeling guilty but Sonata placed a hand on her shoulder giving her a sympathetic smile. "Don't feel bad because I felt that way this morning to." Sonata said as she then started pulling drinks out the her bag of snacks, Fluttershy couldn't help to think what she said by that. She to was lost in thoughts since this morning? Was it because she was nervous to come to visit her? Was it that she was scared that she would have thought of her in an ill manner? Fluttershy was so curious that even a cat with nine lives want to know.
When Fluttershy tried to ask her why she was interrupted by a drink being brought to her face with the flavor labeled strawberry banana, "I didn't know if you wanted a drink so I brought you something yummy, I even brought fruit snacks and chips for you're liking." The blue siren smiled at her softly at her but Fluttershy knew she was trying to keep her from asking any questions. Maybe it was best not to ask her at all, maybe it was something she wanted to keep to herself and it wasn't for anyone to know.
"U-um...thank you but you really didn't need to go out you're way to buy me things, besides I wouldn't want to take so much from you." Fluttershy said with a little smile nervously turning away with sudden look of guilt, she has been feeling this way for the past few months struggling to fight the pain and sorrow within her own being. "Look at you, can’t even get out of you’re feelings around the person who came to visit you. How can you ever grow when all you do is tear you, everyone and everything around down. So pathetic…
" She thought to herself as she clasp her hands together letting out a quite sobbing sigh. A warm hand was gently placed on Fluttershy's cheek turning her head slowly to face the young siren who was looking at her with a concerned look, this caught Fluttershy off guard as she flinched and pulled away only to make Sonata herself jump and bump near the table causing things to fall on the floor, "Oh my gosh I'm so so so sorry sonata!"
Fluttershy was now starting to panic until she was cut off by Sonata raising her hand up to calm her down, She then started picking everything up and cleaning up the mess that has been spilled all over the floor while Fluttershy holding her chest watching her. Fluttershy insisted to help her clean but the moment she reached her hand she got popped with a light smack on the wrist. She yelped and jumped back as she then had the siren's eye gazing up at her, "Don't...just go sit down fluttershy. I'll clean up."
Her gaze made Fluttershy only hurt even more as she turn her head and went to the living room. "I'm sorry..." Fluttershy said quietly as she walked away but what she did not realized that Angel was there watching her walk by, He then turn to look at the siren who was in his home and he was very upset with the fact that she was here. "I can feel it." Sonata whispered to herself, "Rainbow was right, she is dealing with something serious."
When she got done cleaning everything that was on the floor and placed everything on neatly on the table she then felt someone giving her the most angriest glare at her, She stood there for a moment and raised her hand then swooped Angel up looking down at the defenseless ivory bunny who was now struggling to get out of her grasp. "I'm not your enemy little guy, trust me when I say that I’m worried too." Sonata said softly to him but Angel still didn't believe a word she was saying, He continues to break free from her grasp as he then bites down on her hand hard as he could but she didn't flinch, He looks up at her as Sonata was now giving him the most motionless stare.
"I know pain well enough to know a simple bite can’t make me yelp or make me say ouch little guy." Sonata gently places Angel on the table and caressing his face softly with care, Angel looked up at her confused but he didn't let him guard down for a moment. "Tell me...How long has she been like this?" Sonata got a the sad look from the little bunny as he looked down, "I take it as its been a while now." Sonata then looks up at Fluttershy who head was hanging low with streaming down pour coming down her face lost in her world full of deep sorrowful blues. "This is going to be a very long day I see..." Sonata said with a deep low tone.
[2:25pm rain coming down hard, the sky is much cloudier then before and the roar of lighting echoes through out the heavens...]
As time went on Fluttershy was on her couch holding herself as she continued weeping shaking with emotional pain so deep it makes silence feel like a prison, the roar of thunder has set horror to the poor soft hearted girl who felt as she was alone and abandon. But she wasn't alone in the house when she has a guest over who was willing to help.
“A coin for you’re thoughts?" Fluttershy jumped hearing Sonata voice.
"Geh! n-no its...im sorry I just needed...time..." Fluttershy was in silence as she looked at the siren from the living room and all she saw was two glowing hot pink eyes staring back at her, she slowly gets up backing away in horror.
"wait its okay you don't have to-" Sonata tried reaching out to her.
"Don't...don't hurt me..." Fluttershy stood there against the wall shaking violently eyes widen with so much fear.
"Flutteryshy I would never hurt you, I know I done a lot of things but I want to help. Please I really want us to be friends, and the first step to that...is helping you with whatever you are going through. So please let’s start over for a sec." Sonata slowly walked up to her with her hand out but was yelled at.
"Don't get near me! I'm sorry please don't hurt me!" Fluttershy screamed at the top of her lungs as sonata looked at her shocked and concerned and didn’t know how to approach her.
"Geez I can't even get near you without you freaking out, I can talk to you from where I’m standing only if you do one thing for me."
"W-what is it?" Fluttershy asked concerned when Sonata pointed at her wrist that was bleeding.
"Take care of that please...I watched you picking at it, I wanted to stop you but...I didn't know how to approach you." Sonata said plainly looking at the broken girl who looked at her wrist staring at it not knowing what to do.
Angel poked his head over Sonata's shoulder as he then jumps off her making his way up to Fluttershy with sadness in his eyes knowing he couldn't do anything for her when she was at her lowest, She looked down at him with a faint smile as she tried to pet him but then stopped seeing how much blood was on her hand.
"Oh..." Fluttershy said speechless as she gets grabbed by her arm and pulled to the sink by Sonata.
"Angel can you please find the medical box as I help clean her wound please?" Angel saluted with determination as he hopped to go fetch the medical supplies as Sonata pulled Fluttershy to the sink.
"D-don't hur-" Fluttershy was cut off with a gentle press on the lips as Sonata looked at her with annoyance.
"Enough of that." She took her wrist and washed it thoroughly and gently, she could feel Fluttershy shaking nervously as she does it.
"Relax yourself Fluttershy, I'm not going to bring harm to you. But I'm worried you'll be the one to bring it upon yourself."
"I...I'm sorry, I don’t think I should have had any visitors today." Fluttershy says with guilt and shame.
"But you needed someone to talk to, being alone in your own mental space is good and all but not when you are dealing with a difficult battle like this. Does anyone know about what you are going through?" Sonata asked looking at her concerned as she saw Fluttershy looking away from her, for that is when she got her answer.
"Fluttershy...You need help, don't be distant from the others. They are your friends, family even." Sonata said trying to reassure and reason with her.
"I just feel as though I bring them down, look at me I’m a mess. How could they ever accept me as how I am when all I ever did was bring shame and disappointment to them." As Fluttershy say that Sonata looked at her as if she couldn’t believe what she was hearing.
"Okay, first off that's bullshit. Second, did you forget that you beat me and my sisters at the battle of the bands? You guys had a bond that is unbreakable, and if there was anything that got in the way I know you guys would fix it together." Sonata said with a furious tone.
"Still..." Fluttershy taken a back when Sonata shut the water off and looked at her with an anger expression.
"Still what, don't talk as if you aren't cared for. I sometimes feel like my own sisters don't want nothing to do with me Fluttershy, you have people who genuinely care about your existence and the way you are acting towards them is selfish." Sonata said harshly.
Fluttershy looked hurt when she called her selfish and was about to respond after Angel hopped on the sink and raised the medical kit, Sonata grabbed it and nodded her head to thank him as she looks at Fluttershy.
"You even have him by your side and he worries SICK about you. Will you also push him away to? The more you do that the more pain you’ll bring not only yourself but to others to.”
Fluttershy couldn't help but hold her head down sobbing feeling so ashamed for what she has been acting towards her friends. Sonata gently lifts Fluttershy a head up with care.
"You aren’t alone flutters, and whatever you feeling and going through you don’t have to deal with it alone. So please Fluttershy, be kind to yourself.” Sonata said with Comfort and compassion.
Fluttershy couldn't help but smile in return tearing up a bit and lean into Sonata hugging her in a warm embrace.
"Thank you..." Fluttershy said softly
"You are welcome, now let’s take care of that wound please?" Sonata said patting her on the back gently.
Fluttershy nodded to her with a soft smile on her face as Sonata open the medical kit and pulled out the wraps and bandages.
"We got the disinfect it first okay? So it might sting but we don't want it to get infected with anything, and I surly don't want you getting sick either. So bear with me okay?" Sonata said looking at her with a caretakers spirit
Fluttershy nodded as Sonata pulled the acholic wipes and gently started wiping her wound, she flinched but didn't move as much before Sonata got done wrapping her up. When she got done Sonata then held onto her wrist carefully as she bit her bottom lip looking down.
Fluttershy looked at her as she slowly leaned her head close to match her gaze, Sonata snapped back into reality shaking her head.
"Sorry, I just...it kinda brings bad memories you know. And seeing you go through that state of pain and misery, it just didn't sit well with me…it hurts." Sonata said with disturbed but cheerfulness in her voice.
Sonata took both of Fluttershy's hands holding them, “Fluttershy promise me you won’t ever put yourself through pain and suffering like this again you hear me?" Sonata said with concern as she looked Fluttershy in her eyes.
"I-I promise I won’t, thank you so much for this Sonata. I don't know what I would have done if you weren't around." Fluttershy said with a cheerful smile and nodded her head.
"Of course, I'm glad I came to visit. And I think we should do this more often." Said Sonata as Fluttershy nodded her head happily agreeing.
"Um, would you like hot coco? I have some in the cabinet." Asked Fluttershy.
"I would love some." Sonata smiled as Fluttershy then looks at both her and Angel with a peaceful smile that shine brighter then the sun itself.
"Then lets not waste any time, the day is still youn-" Fluttershy was cut off by the lighting the boomed loudly outside as she jumped and held onto Sonata who was then blushing softly by the warm touch of her friend. Fluttershy then let go of her embarrassed looking away face red as an cherry.
"Y-yeah, let’s get some coco." Fluttershy said nervously.
Sonata smiled thinking to herself, I think I'm going to get attached to this beautiful blossom.
[5:00pm still raining hard and wind is blowing furiously, lightning still scream and roars in the dark cloudy skies
The two were sitting down on the couch talking making good conversations with each other, Angel was laying on Fluttershy's lap, Sonata stared at her cup of coco for a second then went to say something but she couldn't get the words out. This how ever made Fluttershy wonder what was on her mind.
"Is there something troubling you Sonata?" She asked looking at her curious on what she was gonna say, Sonata looked at her sad yet bothered by the thought. She then closed her eyes and took a deep breath then continued on what she was going to say.
"I been thinking about this lately, The thought of what is true love and what is the meaning of life. When I look at other people all I ever see is the same thing over and over again and its like I'm stuck in repeat or something, I see people argue, fighting each other, betraying each other, mistreating one of another. Aban-"
Sonata closed her eyes taking a deep breath in as she places her cup down on the table before she drop it, Whatever she was going through her mind it affected her to the point she felt as though she would break down from it any moment. She herself as the younger sister of the sirens felt as though she never amounted to anything even when she tried to be something more, There were times when she been called stupid cause of her clueless and innocent mind of being a taco girl.
"Abandonment..." Fluttershy finished the word, as she placed her cup down on the table to look at the blue girl who looked at her own cup with a dark yet violent look of anger. Fluttershy could tell she has been mistreated even by her own sisters, It was because Sonata was looked at as a child who couldn’t do things on her own. But when Fluttershy looked at her she saw something more, a storm in the middle of a red sea filled with true terror and trauma.
"Do you also see life like is black and white Sonata..." Sonata turn to her with her eyes still wide with anger, Her eyes had such a faint glow into them as Fluttershy could feel the fury fuming out of her. ”Such rage...” Fluttershy thought to herself, The girl was in pain but she saw she was in more hell then she was.
"When you said you others didn't seem to want you around or you thought you didn’t amount to anything... I always see how they treat you like you are important. They treat you like you are the most important thing in the world, They are always there to pick you up when you fall but...my sisters...they don't do that. They don't even take me seriously as if I was a damn joke." Sonata shook with eyes filling up with tears ever so slightly.
"Sonata..." Fluttershy felt a heavy weight on her heart hearing the way Sonata talked.
"I'm nothing...but a damn clueless idiot to them, I'm never good enough, I'm never mature enough, I can never be where they are at, I'm a failure, I sometimes thought if I didn't exist...I...I..." Sonata sighed in defeat as Fluttershy place her beloved Angel to the side and turn to face her placing both hands on Sonata's face calming her down. Sonata looked at Fluttershy in her eyes as she saw something that she never thought she can see in anyone else but herself.
What she saw was a gentle face pure of the calmness of peace, But behind that calmness was a deep dark pathway full of regret, pain, anger, and murderous rage. Sonata pulled away from her and was shocked to her core, she didn’t even who she was looking at. Fluttershy was not surprised of her reaction as she then turns to look straight at the wall not trying to scare Sonata any feather then she already did.
"Love...Is the life that was given to us, Love is the will that keeps us all alive and going in life even through tough times, Love is the story that we share with one another so when we grow older we can teach the younger youth and tell them stories so when they grow older they will remember the teachings that was given to them to give to the next, Love is the powerful bond that we have with others...we help one another, be there for one another." Fluttershy said with a calm soothing voice that brought comfort yet a chill to the soul.
The lightning boomed outside as the lights in the house flickered, Sonata looked around but as for Fluttershy she never took her eyes away from the wall. "Love...is in the heart, The mind, The body And the spirit. You yourself are love, But...you can't love anyone...if you can't love yourself." Fluttershy said now turning to Sonata eyes filled with coldness.
"I-what are you-" Sonata was cut off by the loud thunder as the lights flickered again as she flinched in shock getting caught of guard but when she looked at Fluttershy again her face was back to normal, The soft, innocent, calm and gentle face was back. Sonata didn't even know if she was supposed to be scared or not after witnessing something like that.
"I'm scared of myself Sonata, It wasn't easy for me. I'm not always nice but I try to be. I love others so much that I have to keep myself from them, I'm scared that I might scare them or they might see me differently. But talking to you it makes me feel at ease that I am not alone, I just wish you didn't have to be here for..." Fluttershy lifting her wrist that was bandaged up.
Sonata shook her head at her, "N-no no its fine I'm just in shock, you're words and the way you spoke and expressed yourself. I can't even explain but I can never be so...so..." Sonata placed her hands on her face sighing with a small smile. "I'm just so happy I have someone who I can finally relate to, I feel at ease when I talk to you...yet I'm scared." Sonata said with excitement in her voice, to finally meet someone who is just like her brought true comfort.
"Please don't be, I don't want you to see me differently. I didn't mean to show you that side of me at all, I just wanted to let you know that you I to feel that way. I also wanted you to know that you are loved, even if you feel as though you're sisters may not show it...you have me and the others. There isn't nothing wrong being selfish because you are loving yourself, but when you have people who will give their love, care and time...there is no room for selfishness." Fluttershy spoke with true passion so powerful that the taco lover was so moved by her words.
Sonata looked at her with so much interest that she caught herself before she exposed her red face, Not only is she a gentle blossom but she is also a rose with thorns?! And the way she speaks with her words...How can anyone not like this girl?! Sonata was keeping her face from being seen red as a pomegranate while Fluttershy sat there looking at her confused.
"Sonata are you feeling well? You seem to be a little red." Fluttershy said peaking to see Sonata's whole face.
"I'm fine I'm fine! I-uh...just feeling hot is all. I'll be fine I promise, woah it’s hot in here." Sonata said as She waved her hands at her face trying to cool off but from the way she was acting Fluttershy caught the hint and giggled finding it cute of how Sonata was acting.
"Wha- whats so funny?!" Sonata said turning to her feeling embarrassed as Fluttershy then covered her mouth softly laughing as she couldn't help but find how adorable she was acting.
"I'm so sorry, it’s just that you are really cute when you are like that. I too seem to have a liking to you Sonata, I am truly thankful that I have had this time to spend with you. Talking to you made me feel more comfortable with myself and it helped me realized that I should be more open of how I feel with the people I love and care about and I'm willing to make a change for the better."
Fluttershy said giving Sonata the most peaceful yet calmest smile that she herself couldn't look away, The pain of anger, the overwhelming sorrow that was in her own being was washed away by Fluttershy's kind welcoming presents. Sonata couldn't hold her emotions from her anymore as she found herself leaning close to Fluttershy's face pressing her head against hers and holding onto her hands closing her eyes rubbing into Fluttershy's warmness.
Fluttershy was caught off guard by what Sonata was doing finding herself was redder than ever, She couldn't help but embrace the softness she was receiving from her. Her warmness and her touch made Fluttershy want to hold onto her and never let go, Touch that gave her safety for so long she seek to be held and kept safe to feel wanted to feel protected. Most of her life she had to stay strong but at this moment she can finally put her guard down and let go a holding on to strong.
"I don't...wanna forget this moment we had together today." Sonata said softly cuddling deeper into Fluttershy who was also holding onto her more, she tears up smiling.
"Yeah...me to." Fluttershy said softly as she presses her head against Sonata’s feeling connected as one, The soft and fluffy Angel looked up at the two with the 'what are y'all think you doin?' face as both Sonata and Fluttershy turn away from each other blushing.
"S-sorry angel, didn't mean to do that around you." Fluttershy said looking away covering her face blushing deeply as Sonata lean down near Angel without him looking and pecked him a kiss on his cheek causing him to flinch and jump back turning red himself.
"If you wanted a kiss all you needed to do was ask little guy." Sonata said playfully as Angel was looking up at her with a blushing pouting face.
Fluttershy picked him up and gave him a kiss as well, "Of course we don't wanna leave you out to Angel. Thank you for helping me with my wound. I'm truly sorry for putting you through a lot, I truly did needed someone to talk to." Fluttershy said as Angel snuggled into her happily knowing she’s better then before, For the first time in a while this new bond brought true serenity in these two girl’s lives. And this was a story the would share forever.
[8:35pm Misty and foggy out. The rain subsided and the roar from the skies has come to a calm silence. Cool breeze temperature is dropping low.]
Hours went by as the room was silent and dark, The sound of a phone can be buzzing muffled but enough to wake up a fuzzy headed siren and pick it up and answer it. She answers with a long yawn and sleepy tone with “meh hewwo…” The blue siren said so sleepy headed.
“I take it all went well being over there with the nature girl.” The sound of a mature and sass tone from the other side of the phone. This made Sonata wake up with for it was Adagio on the phone.
“What do you want.” Sonata asked with a serious tone.
“My is it wrong to check up on my sister to see if she is okay? Besides you aren’t home, can’t possibly be having that much fun over there.” Adagio said with annoyed tone.
“I’m actually having the time of my life thank you very much.” Sonata said with attitude of not wanting to hear her voice right now.
“Really?” Said Adagio who was now surprised to hear her say that.
“Yes, I am.” Sonata said once more as she looked down at the person who was now laying on top of her holding on as if she was a stuff teddy bear. Sonata couldn’t help but smile as she rubs her hand on Fluttershy’s head.
“Since when did you ever gave a damn about being around them as much being around you’re own siblings.” Adagio said with a pissed off tone but got a response to match her energy.
“When you told me I was deadweight and I had no purpose in life at all, or the time You told me everything I do is a complete failure?” Sonata said with a sarcastic happy tone.
“Sonata…I-“ Adagio got cut off by Sonata before she could say anything.
“And don’t get me started with the times you got drunk and threw your anger and problems on me to, oh boy the scars you left are fond memories.” Sonata said as her tone was getting lower and darker.
Adagio couldn’t come up with words, the room was filled with silence so deafening that a drop of a pen can just set things off in a heart beat. “Nata I-I’m.” Adagio tried to speak before anymore words can be said the phone hung up.
Sonata looked at her phone confused but shook her head all together. “She hung up, you’re typical Adagio dazzle…” Sonata said with disappointment in her voice.
She threw her phone to the side and looked down at the person who was now wide awake looking up at her. “You heard all that didn’t you…” Sonata asked and Fluttershy nodded in responds.
“Only bits and pieces, I’m sorry you dealing with that. Does Aria treat you that way too?” Fluttershy asked concerned.
Sonata shook her head and shrug, “Riri does what riri wants, me and her is on somewhat better terms. But I don’t want none of that ruining this moment.” Sonata said snuggling into Fluttershy never letting go.
Fluttershy giggled as she felt was and fuzzy in Sonata’s touch as she to cuddled into her deeply, the bond they have forged and the compassion they shared was something sacred and precious. Whatever was to come up could for what matter to these two that this moment rest was needed for emotional healing they were going through.
“Sonata…” Fluttershy called her name out softly as she lean up on top of her. Sonata looked up at her taken by surprise by Fluttershy making a move that.
“Y-yes?” Sonata felt her heart skipping as Fluttershy lean down close to hear face with a gentle smile but intimacy in her eyes.
“You can keep a secret, right?” Fluttershy asked placing her hand on Sonata’s face, her skin felt smooth and warm and the blue siren was now blushing nervously.
“Yes.” Sonata answered as Fluttershy presses her forehead against hers closing her eyes, Sonata felt a spiritual sensation arising from her as she to then close her eyes taking in all of what she was feeling.
“Good, then You wouldn’t mind me doing such. I… I really enjoyed your company Sonata, If there is anyone I wanted to build a sacred bond with it would be you.” Fluttershy said softly as she then held onto Sonata’s hands gently pressing her nose against hers.
Sonata softly sobbed holding onto Fluttershy’s hands and next letting go, For the first time in forever she found someone who understood her feelings and her struggles. Someone who accept her for her flaws no matter how different she was.
“H-h-how can you be so nice to me after all I did to you? You accept me even how broken I am? What if I mess up or..or.” Sonata struggles to get her words out as Fluttershy stopped her by kissing her forehead.
“Love is patients Sonata, it’s calm and comforting. It doesn’t rush nor does it ever judge, it truly connects us together but brings those who have understanding.” Fluttershy says leaning up and gently placing both her hands on Sonata’s cheeks, Sonata looked up at her softly with teary eyes.
“Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing.” Fluttershy says wiping Sonata’s eyes cuddling into her, Sonata looks at her smiling as she too wraps her arms into her feeling her comforting warm embrace as she rests her eyes.
“Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. So please Sonata…be kind to yourself.” Fluttershy says softly as she slowly falls back to sleep, Sonata will remember this moment for the rest of her days. As she cannot get the type of love from her siblings she can always get it from the one she trusts and it’s Fluttershy.
“Thank you, Sister.” Sonata says as she drifts to sleep.
The Next Day
The skies so sunny, the clouds built a beautiful scenery. The breeze was cool but not cold, The birds sung a tune soring through the heavens. Sonata slowly started opening her eyes as the sunlight shinning on her face, she yawn and stretched and saw that Fluttershy was no where to be found but she heard the sound of chattering from the kitchen.
She got up to go find Fluttershy and see who else was inside the house, when she did she was greeted by Aria, Rainbow and Sunset who had a plate of breakfast. Fluttershy was still cooking up a plate for Sonata who she didn’t know was standing near by.
“Oh Sonata, good morning. Would you care for some breakfast? I made pancakes and scrabbled eggs. Or would you like an omelette?” Fluttershy saying with so much happiness and radiant light shinning from her.
“Easy there Fluttershy, don’t go cooking her a buffet. Nata here gonna get attached to ya. Aria jokingly commenting making Sonata blush, Fluttershy smiled and responded.
“That’s fine, I’m attached to her myself. Her company is much appreciated, and I’m happy to have her around.” Fluttershy said straightforward.
Aria was shocked, Rainbow dash oooued, Sunset couldn’t help but smile hearing that from Fluttershy. But as for Sonata who was still standing in one spot found herself lost for words.
“I- Gosh Fluttershy you got me smiling all hard. I just never had anyone think of me special like that before. Thank you, I really appreciate it.” Sonata said looking down smiling with reassurance.
Aria turned away hearing that from her younger sister, Rainbow dash put a calm hand on her shoulder reassuring Aria to know it’s in the past and this was now the present to start a new.
“We love having you around Sonata. There is no grudge between us, and what happen before was in the past.” Rainbow said with a gleeful smile cheesing.
“That’s right, We are all here to make new fond memories and bring a new leaf to the garden. And that is something we are willing to share with you Sonata, that also goes for you to Aria.” Sunset said turning to look at her but Aria could only give her a ‘eh’ smile and shrug, it still seems she to have things to take care of herself.
Fluttershy places Sonata’s plate of food on the table and open her arms out to her with a welcoming smile, Sonata looked at her and saw true serenity and did not let up. She ran up to her and hugged her close and was welcome with a group hug from the others. This was the start of a new journey for her. One that she been asking for so long and she would never ask for anything else other then this.
“Nata, I want to say sorry for how I treated you. I promise I’ll do right by you this time. Hell we’ll even go for tacos whenever you want.” Aria said patting Sonata on the head, to see her lil sister smile meant the world to her.
“Aria I-Im. Gosh I just don’t know what to say, I’m so overwhelmed with emotion that I can’t control myself. I love you so much Ari.” Sonata said clinging onto her older sister as streams came coming down her face.
Aria held her sister close closing her eyes feeling her embrace, the others watched touched by moment of two sister bond being restored.
“You know I don’t want to be a mood killer. BUT MY FOOD GETTING COLD MAN.” Rainbow dash said hungry as the others laughed. “Yeah yeah skittles we can eat, Thank you for this Fluttershy I deeply appreciate you for this.” Aria nods her head in thanks as Fluttershy bows and happily smiles “You are most welcome.”
They all enjoyed breakfast and bonded well with each other, conversations of new things and beginnings. Aria told a story how the frog went down the professor’s throat and rainbow out of everyone laughed so loud that the house could shake, Sunset shook her head smirking thinking it was ridiculous.
However Sonata looked at Fluttershy who was smiling to herself of how amazing her friends were, Sonata placed her hand onto Fluttershy’s and they both looked at each other and smiled to one another.
The day went on with a bright sky and clouds parting opening the heavens, A sense of peace was flowing by and somewhere on the plains of the earth there are flowers and roses blooming.
One can think to themselves.

There can be a day you are dealing with someone you don’t like, there will be a day you and that person will bump heads. But one day there will be a day you both will come together again and make amends. Love is powerful and it has compassion, love is life and understanding. Love is patiently wait and make timing. Others may not fully understand it is why like the “Garden” we all are still growing, So I say to you all. May you always find love within yourselves, because if you can find it within yourselves you can also find it within people who have understanding of it.
