''Finally, that party was exhausting!'' Gallus grumbled as he landed himself on his bed.
''Tell me about it,'' Sandbar agreed as he entered inside their bedroom with hearts flying around his head.
''What are you making goo-goo eyes for?'' he asked, raising an eyebrow. ''Did something happen between you and Yona?''
''Huh?'' Sandbar uttered, snapping himself out of his trance. ''Well, we did just share our first kiss just about now.''
''I am proud of you, my boy.''
''Thanks I guess,'' he replied with a blush. ''Although, Yona and I are confused on why you didn't ask Silverstream out.''
Gallus felt a sudden twinge flowing through his body. ''What are you talking about? There is nothing between Silverstream and I.''
''Really, dude? I am not stupid,'' said the colt. ''I literally caught you making goo-goo eyes on her lately.''
He turned away and crossed his arms across his chest. ''I could say the same about you to Yona.''
He groaned. ''That is out of the topic! Enough about Yona and I!''
''Fine!'' Gallus grunted. ''Yes I do sort of like Silverstream.''
He chuckled. ''I knew it.''
He rolled his eyes and pounded himself on his bed again. ''What am I going to do?''
''I, Sandbar, also known as, Yona's coltfriend, will help you confess your feelings to Silverstream and with some help of our friends,'' he declared with a sly grin.
''That party was so fun!'' Silverstream exclaimed, landing herself on her bed. ''Although, I do wish a certain someone had asked me out to the party.''
Yona caught a slight smirk coming from the hippogriff. ''Now what is Yona friend saying? That Yona friend have crush on blue griffon?''
Silverstream got up from her bed and dragged the yak close to her. ''How did you know? I mean...''
She laughed. ''Yona knows everything! Yona even know how to hook you two up!''
''Really?!'' she said flirtatiously. ''That would be a dream come true.''
''Well,'' the yak said. ''Yona can make that dream come true.''
''How?'' she asked.
''What occasion is coming up for pony world?''
''Ooh! Ooh!'' Silverstream piped, grabbing a book from her shelf. ''I read from this book that Heart's and Hoove's day will be coming up next and it is all about romance, well, mostly about it.''
''Then Yona can help you hook up with blue griffon!'' she declared.
''Hey, Smolder!'' said Ocellus. ''Did you know that Heart's and Hoove's day is tomorrow?''
''Hah,'' Smolder uttered. ''Don't tell me you really believe all that lovey-dovey stuff, do you?''
''Why not?'' she asked. ''It is all about bright happy colours and most importantly...love!'' She sighed flirtingly as she landed on top of her bed. ''Although, changelings used to use this holiday to drain ponies off their love but now that Queen Chrysalis isn't our leader anymore, we don't do that stuff anymore.''
''Yuck!'' the dragon gagged. ''Although, I do want the Gallustream ship to finally happen tomorrow.''
Ocellus frowned a bit. She didn't know why but her heart started hurting and beating faster. She looked down at her hooves shyly.
''Do you have a special somecreature, Smolder?''
''Why did you ask?'' Smolder questioned, raising an eyebrow. ''You know that I don't.''
''Oh well,'' said the changeling. ''Do you have a crush on anycreature?''
''No,'' she uttered.
''Okay,'' said Ocellus before hopping off her bed and trotting towards the door to go outside and get some fresh air. She shut the door which accidently was a slam.
Smolder raised an eyebrow. ''Was it something I said?''
''Yes.''
''Huh?'' Smolder uttered as she turned around to see who said that. It was a purple dragon with green scales sitting on their window sill. ''Oh, hey there, Spike! When did you come here?''
''Not long,'' Spike replied. ''I just came to see the romance between you and-'' He blocked his mouth.
''Who?''
''No pony!'' Spike shouted as he flew back out the window. He came back to correct his phrasing. ''No creature!'' He zoomed out the window again, leaving a confused dragon inside the room.
''When is Heart's and Hoove's day?'' asked Gallus.
Sandbar chuckled. ''Tomorrow.''
''Tomorrow?!'' Gallus repeated as he fell off his bed for the last time. ''How am I supposed to ask Silverstream out in one day?''
''Relax, dude. We will all help you and I have already gotten Yona, Smolder and Ocellus to help us.''
''How do you know she even likes me?'' Gallus questioned.
''Everypony knows,'' Sandbar replied. ''You two have been making it so obvious after you made Silverstream overcome her fear of the storm king. It is just you two that don't know you both like each other.''
Gallus rubbed the back of his neck. ''And what exactly is your plan to hook us up with?''
Sandbar opened his mouth to answer his question but closed it again as he remembered he hadn't got a plan. This made Gallus even more stressed.
''Yep. I am doomed.''
A lightbulb lit up above the colt's head as he finally thought up a plan. ''I got it!''
It was finally Heart's and Hoove's day and everypony was exchanging gifts and kisses with their friends and very special somecreatures. However, Ocellus was sitting on a table with her head down, until a blue unicorn trotted towards her.
''Not enjoying Heart's and Hoove's day?''
Ocellus lifted up her head. ''No, it is not that, but...''
''Let me guess,'' Trixie interrupted. ''Your special somecreature doesn't seem to like you back?''
Ocellus nodded absentmindedly.
Trixie glanced around to see if anypony is watching them. She got closer to the changeling to whisper.
''Can you keep a secret?''
The changeling raised an eyebrow in confusion.
''The Great and Powerful Trixie used to have a crush on Headmare Starlight Glimmer but we all know she is straight and dating that little Sunburst colt over there.'' She grunted as she glanced at a yellow unicorn snuggling with a pink unicorn. She rolled her eyes in annoyance and faced the changeling again. ''If you need some love advice to ask out your special somecreature, then I advise you to come to my Great and Powerful office.''
She trotted away from the changeling for her to think about it. Ocellus thought about it and followed the blue unicorn.
''Hey, Yona!'' said Sandbar, holding a bouquet of pink flowers. ''I got you some flowers.''
''Oh,'' said Yona as she turned around to face him. ''T-Thank you, Sandbar.'' She surprised him with a peck on his cheeks. He smiled and touched the spot to where she kissed as she turned around to talk to her friend, Silverstream, again.
''How can you be so lucky, dude?'' Gallus whispered.
''Just do what I have told you,'' Sandbar replied as he pushed him forward. The blue griffon grunted in annoyance and trotted towards the pink hippogriff who was laughing along with her friend.
''So Silverstream,'' said the yak. ''Yona think that you and you-know-who are a perfect match.''
Silverstream blushed a bit but couldn't see as she was already pink. Yona turned to see her coltfriend who nodded and pushed the blue griffon towards the pink hippogriff. Yona did the same with Silverstream. They both bumped into each other.
''Oh!'' Silverstream yelled. ''I am so sorry that I didn't watch where I was going. That was a mistake made by some clutz, also known as, me.''
''What?'' Gallus exclaimed. ''You are not a clutz! Why, you are anything but that! You are awesome, amazing, kind, bubbly, beautiful and...''
They both stared at each other for a long time, until Gallus picked up her claw.
''Silverstream, I-''
'Come on, dude.' Sandbar thought to himself. 'You can do it. You are almost there to win her heart.'
''I love you,'' he finally said.
Silverstream squealed happily and tackled the blue griffon into a tight embrace. Although, their lips were just a few inches away from each other. They both blushed and looked at the pony and yak staring at them.
Gallus gulped and was ready to make his move. He turned to meet her beautiful purple eyes and got his lips closer to hers. Silverstream finished the gap and they both wrapped their wings around each other. They slowly closed their eyes to enjoy the soft, but passionate kiss. They could have sworn they felt a spark igniting between them.
A long eternity later, they both pulled away from the lingering and blissful kiss and caught a slight blush in each other's cheeks. However, their eye contact broke as a dragon approached them but it wasn't Spike or even Smolder. It was a dragon that the four of them had never seen.
''Who are you?'' asked Sandbar.
''Guys, it's me!'' said the dragon as green flames circled around them and transformed themselves into a familiar blue changeling with clear pink mane.
''What was with the get up?'' asked Gallus.
Ocellus changed back into a dragon form. ''I...you could say that...''
She was suddenly caught off as a familiar orange dragon with magenta scales and blue eyes approached them.
''Hey guys!'' she greeted. ''What did I miss?'' She trailed off as her eyes were met with the newly formed dragon. ''Who are you?''
''My name is Flame,'' she replied with hesitant.
''Flame, huh?'' said Smolder. ''Are you new here?''
''Y-Yes.''
''I thought so.''
Gallus, Silverstream, Sandbar and Yona had quietly trotted away from them so they could 'talk'.
''So, um, what do you do on Heart's and Hoove's day?'' Flame asked. ''Do you have a crush on anycreature here?''
A tint of pink appeared on the orange dragon's cheeks. She tried to shook it off.
''Well, uh, on one special creature, yes.''
Flame's eyes widened in shock. Smolder had never told her she had one. Why would she lie to her?
Accidently, Flame turned back into their usual self again. Smolder's eyes widened with a mix of shock and confusion.
''Ocellus?'' she said. ''You-wait, that. was. AWESOME!!! I mean, you are awesome, amazing! Wow.''
Ocellus blushed. ''Oh.''
''Hey, I was wonderin' that maybe we could, um, well, be more than just friends? I mean, you are so cool and that...you could say that...''
''More than friends?'' she repeated. ''You mean like girlfriend and girlfriend?''
''Gee, that sounds weird, but I get if you don't like me back-''
She was suddenly caught off as the changeling flung her hooves around her neck.
''I love you too, Smolder!''
Her lips were placed on the dragon's lips and they both blissfully enjoyed their first ever kiss. Meanwhile, the four friends were spying on the romantic scene from afar.
''Well,'' said Sandbar, ''I guess it is true what they say: love comes in all forms.''
''And love is the most beautiful thing of them all!'' Silverstream piped.
Gallus smirked and wrapped his wing around his girlfriend's shoulder. Sandbar noticed the chemistry through the new interspecies couple.
He smirked. ''Welcome to the club.''
He turned to his girlfriend. ''What do you say about some alone time?''
Yona flanged her hooves around his neck. ''Yona loves Sandbar!''
