Canterlot 10:00am
It is a bright sunny day in Equestria's capital Canterlot. Many ponies and changelings in the town were seen having a chat with each other about the feast that is going to occur in two days later in the castle. The reason behind the feast is due to the ponies and changelings finding peace, happiness and friendship within each other after Thorax was declared King.
Now, the mane six, Spike, and Thorax were all seen preparing untensils, glass cups, and dishes in the large dinning room of the castle.
In a hallway in the castle, Cadence was having a chat with her sister in law Twilight in a hallway as they were making their way to the dinning room. Twilight was stalking something very private with the love Princess.
"Really Twilight?" Cadence asked with wide eyes.
"Yes Cadence." Twilight replied with a nod "I think I'm developing feelings for Thorax." She confessed with a blush.
Cadence squealed in merriment when she heard this, her sister in law Twilight is now in love with the changeling King Thorax. Although she did see that coming due to her seeing Twilight spending a lot of time reading books, eating food, teaching friendship and many more with him. She is so exhilarated to become an aunt.
"Well I'll be eager to become an aunt for your child." She said, and that made Twilight blush furiously.
In the dinning room, the mane six, Spike and Thorax were almost finished in preparing the untensils and glass cups. The mane six and Spike have finished putting the dishes forks, and Thorax was holding the last
"This feast is going to be wonderful!" Pinkie exclaimed with a wide smile.
"Indeed, ah cannot wait to talk with the changelings." Applejack said in a contented tone.
"Yeah, this will be awesome!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed with her hooves in the air. A brief second later, the pegasus brought her left hoof down and slammed it on the table.
*PING!*
The loud sound immediately prompted Thorax in freezing in place with his eyes wide opened. He then began to breathe uncontrollably due to a horrifying memory appearing in his mind.
"Please don't hurt us!" Screamed a mare while in tears as well as shielding her daughter.
"Do it Thorax, hurt her with your magic!" Ordered a changeling in a cold tone.
Thorax was now in a very tough and stressful situation, he felt bad for the cying mare and her daughter, he doesn't wants to main anyone, he is not a fan of violence. But, he needed to do what his superior is telling him to do so, he charged his horn and prepared to shoot.
"No, please don't hurt my mommy." The filly begged while hiding behind her mother.
Thorax hesitated when he heard the pleading, he really doesn't wants to do it. When the changeling behind him noticed this, he pushed it further.
"SHOOT THEM THORAX!" Shouted the changeling.
After the loud shout, Thorax fired his magical beam towards the mare and the filly.
The flashback ended with Thorax remembering the whimpering from the filly, and the grunting of the mare. After that, Thorax's hooves shook which made him inadvertently throw the glass cup upwards. The changeling King tried to catch it but, he missed, and the glass cup fell on the floor, shattering in the process.
The mane six and Spike all flinched from the sound of glass shattering.
Thorax looked behind him and saw Princess Celestia, Cadence and his crush Twilight standing in front of the doors. He noticed that Celestia was a bit disappointed.
"Thorax, we need those cups for the feast." Celestia told him "Be careful would ya?" She asked.
"Sorry Celestia." Thorax said with a depressed expression.
Twilight was very perplexed by Thorax's behaviour right now, a few days ago, he was extremely exhilarated by the feast but now, he is currently in a disconsolate mood and is sometimes breathing very rapidly.
It is nighttime now in Equestria and many ponies and changelings began to return home and have dinner.
In Twilight's castle, Thorax and Twilight Sparkle were seen having a salad dinner in the dinning room. Ever since Thorax agreed to assist Twilight on preparing the feast after she sent him a letter, he happily agreed to it. But, he would have to live in the castle for a couple of days in order for him to get to Canterlot quickly. So, he left the Hive under his brother's Pharynx's control.
Twilight was eating the salad with a smile due to her always loving to eat vegetables. She looked up at Thorax and saw that he was staring down at his bowl of salad with a down expression which was extremely unusual, he is also vegan. Then, she decided to ask him some questions.
"Thorax, you have not talked to me for a bit." Twilight told him "Is something wrong?" She asked.
Thorax immediately snapped out of his thought and looked at Twilight when he heard her calling him.
"Oh uh... y-yeah, e-everything is alright." He replied with a fake smile.
Twilight got bewildered by his tone, it was like something is bothering him. She decided to get some answers by asking him what was happening but suddenly, Thorax stood up from his chair.
"Mind if I take a shower real quick?" Thorax asked softly.
"Sure, no problem."
Thorax smiled weakly from this. After that, he turned to his left and faced the dinning room door. He then walked up to it, gripped on the left door handle with his magic and pulled it open. Finally, he began to make his way to the bathroom, leaving Twilight alone and concerned for his mental health.
In the bathroom, Thorax was seen taking a hot shower in attempt to relieve his stress. However, the attempt has only made things worse when the memory continued to bother and petrify him in his mind due to him remembering how he drenched hot water on an innocent little colt too.
"Why? Why did I do that?" Thorax cried while hitting the wall with his right hoof.
Just outside of the bathroom, Twilight Sparkle was seen pressing her right ear against her bathroom door, she has decided to go and check on Thorax, it turned out that he was crying while saying words in a depressed way. This has gotten her very concerned.
"Thorax." Twilight muttered with a worried expression.
Thirty minutes later, both Thorax and Twilight have finished taking a shower and began to head to bed. Twilight was the first to get in her bed due to Thorax assisting her in cleaning bowls and switching off the lights, the changeling King will also be sleeping in her bedroom.
Twilight's bedroom doors were slowly pushed open and Thorax entered the room. After that, he gently closed the door in order to not wake Twilight up. Then, the changeling King walked to the bed.
"Time to get some sleep." Thorax muttered.
Once Thorax got to the bed, he noticed that the blanket wasn't covering Twilight's torso so, the changeling King activated his horn and pulled the covers until it covered Twilight's neck. After that, Thorax walked to the other side of the bed, when he got to it, he pulled the covers up slightly and got on the bed. Finally, he tucked himself in and began to sleep.
Twilight was still awake so, she rolled herself over until she was looking at Thorax. When she did, she was warmed to see him sleeping peacefully which made her smile. Then, the alicorn Princess wrapped her hooves gently around his torso and hugged him.
"You're so sweet Thorax." She cooed with a smile.
The next day
It was early in the morning in Equestria, the ponies and changelings in the town were all seen waking up and walking out of their houses to say hello to each other.
In Twilight's castle, the friendship Princess was seen still sound asleep in her bed while snoring comfortably. However, the tranquil moment has ended when the bright sunlight shined through her window and hitting her face.
"Mmm, is it morning?" Twilight moaned. She then slowly opened her eyes, at first, her visions were blurry but, when they worked again, the alicorn noticed that Thorax was not next to her. "Huh? Where did Thorax go?" She asked herself with a perplexed expression.
The friendship Princess then got off her bed and looked around her room only to see that Thorax wasn't around.
"Maybe he's in the living room?"
So, Twilight walked past her bed and made her way to her bedroom doors. Once she got to it, she gripped into the door handles with her magic and pulled them open. After that, he stepped out of her bedroom and made a right turn. Then, she began to make her way to the living room.
Forty seconds later, Twilight has made it to the living room doors. She gripped onto the door handles with her magic and pulled them open. After that, she began to scrutinize the room to see if Thorax was in there. But, he wasn't.
"Where could he be?" She asked herself.
After thinking for a brief second, Twilight's eyes widened when she thought of something. She remembered Thorax buying a ticket for himself to visit a psychologist in Ponyville.
"Oh no!"
After that, Twilight turned around and charged out of her living room. Then, she began to rush to the front doors of her castle in order to catch up to Thorax before he goes to the psychologist centre.
In Ponyville, the changeling King Thorax was seen standing by the front door of a building which is a building of a psychologist. He looked down at a green ticket which represents his turn.
"Hopefully the psychologist will help me." He sighed.
But, before he could grab onto the door handle with his magic, a voice stopped him.
"Thorax wait!"
When Thorax heard the familiar voice, he tilted his head to the right and he was immediately tackled onto the ground which made him grunt in return. The changeling King and the alicorn both tumbled forward for a bit until they came to a stop with Twilight on top and Thorax on the bottom.
"Twilight?"
"Thorax, please don't visit the psychologist." Twilight begged as a tear rolled down her right cheek "I want to help you go through your current problem!" She exclaimed while hugging him tightly to corroborate that he does not go anywhere.
When Thorax noticed her pleading, he let out a sigh and hugged Twilight back while smiling warmly.
Back in the castle, Thorax and Twilight were both seen sitting in the living room with Thorax telling Twilight what he is currently going through. He told her about how he was forced to maim an innocent mare, filly and colt back in the Canterlot invasion two years ago, he also told her that these memories were bothering him. Now, he was in tears.
Twilight was beyond scandalized by this, he didn't know that Thorax was forced to injure her subjects. What kind of barbaric changeling would do that to him? But, she pushed all of the confusion and anger out of her head and embraced her King in a hug, in an attempt to console him.
"It's okay Thorax, it's okay. I'm not mad at you, its all in the past and you're now our friend." Twilight cooed "So, we all forgive you. In addition to that, you're our friend." She told him.
Thorax was touched by Twilight's words. He expected her to be enraged at him but, her kindness is just very appreciating. Then, he stopped crying and wrapped his hooves around her back and hugged her back.
"Thank you so much for understanding Twilight." Thorax said.
"You're welcome Thorax." She said with a smile. "I love you." She confessed.
Thorax's eyes widened when he heard this, his crush just said that she loves him. But, he shook that out of his head and began to confess back.
"I love you too." Thorax confessed back which made Twilight smile.
After embracing each other for ten more seconds, the couple released each other and let it a chuckle with Twilight's cheeks flushing slightly.
"Anyways, I'm going to take a shower first." Thorax told her, and Twilight responded with a nod.
After that, Thorax turned around and walked towards the already opened living room doors. Once he got to them, he exited the room and began to make his way to the bathroom.
In the bathroom, Thorax was seen taking a very peaceful shower. His stress is finally relieved all thanks to his special somepony Twilight, now he can shower in a tranquil manner.
However, the changeling King's peaceful moment was interrupted when he heard the door to the bathroom being pulled dope as well as the sound of somepony entering. Thorax turned around to see who was entering but suddenly, his special somepony Twilight Sparkle walked into the shower and pressed his back against the wall. After that, the alicorn Princess kissed her handsome changeling King in the lips.
Thorax was caught off guard by this but, he shrugged it off and kissed his princess back with his eyes closed along with hers. A brief second later, Thorax turned both of them around and pressed Twilight against the wall while holding her right hoof up which made her giggle in return.
Now, the two royals were seen kissing and talking a shower with each other happily at the same time.
3:00pm
Thorax and Twilight were seen on their bed sleeping after their romantic moment that exhausted them. However, Thorax was the first to wake up due to him still having some energies left in him. He opened his eyes and saw Twilight still sound asleep while snoring comfortably which made him smile warmly.
"She is so cute when she sleeps."
Five seconds later, Twilight slowly moaned and opened her eyes waking up in the process. When her visions worked again, she saw Thorax staring at her with a smile on his muzzle.
"Hello beautiful."
Twilight giggled and said "Hello handsome."
"Thank you so much for comforting me Twinkle's, you have no idea how grateful I am." He td her.
"Your welcome Thorax." She said with a smile. However, her smile faded away when she a desperate question appeared in her mind.
"What's wrong Twilight?"
"Well you see Thorax, I heard that some stallions would leave their wives behind after hearing that they are going to have a child soon so, I just want to ask, if I get pregnant, will you stay by my side and not leave me please?" She asked as a tear rolled down her left cheek.
When Thorax heard this, he wiped the tear away from her cheek and stared at her with a stern expression.
"Twilight, you know I'm not like that." He told her "I swear, if you ever get pregnant, I will always stay by your side and make sure that our child will have a father." He said in a brave tone.
"Thank you." Twilight said in a grateful tone. Then, she planted a kiss on his right cheek. Five seconds later, she slowly pulled back.
"I love you so much Thory." Twilight cooed.
"I love you too Twinkle's." Thorax said softly.
The couple were so contented to have each other. They will never ever leave each others sides.
