It was 7:30 pm while spike was dusting the book shelfs, twilight was reading a book, and starlight was just sitting on the couch.

"Ughh i'm bored". Starlight said in A annoyed tone. "Well, maybe we should do something! Twilight said in a happy tone.
"Have you ever attempted cooking? Starlight said.

"No, why? Twilight said. "Well i was hoping we could try cooking! And lets give spike a break from cooking our breakfast lunch and dinner. "Ok! Ifs thats what you want to do! But maybe spike can cook with us! So he doesn't feel left out! Twilight said.

Spike took off his cleaning cloth and cloths to walk over to the two mares.

"Did i hear "spike" and "break" in the same sentence? Spike said in a happy voice. "Well, we were wondering if you would wanna help us cook! Twilight said.
"I already cook all you and starlights food, i almost know every dinner in that cook book. Spike said. "Maybe we can make a desert instead? Starlight said. "Maybe..cake? Twilight said. "We've eaten cake plenty of times before though. "Starlight said.

"Well, ive never cooked a cake before, but i did see a recipe for it in the cook book! Spike said. "Ok then, lets go to the kitchen! Twilight said.

"Ok! So..wheres the cook book? Starlight said. "I think it's right...here! Twilight said as she was levitating the book over to them.

"Ok page 173, sweet strawberry cake, Step one, take the..is that salt or sugar? Twilight said. "No..i think its flour. Starlight said. Spike gave a groan. "ITS SU-GUAR! Spike said in A annoyed voice. "Ok..next step it says add 1/2 a cup of..is that milk or a milkshake? Starlight said.

"I think its.. Talking about a milkshake. Twilight said.

"Can you two get anymore du- nevermind, what is the next step. Spike said. "It says get 2 bars of butter, but why would it want us to get butter! Butter is slippery! Twilight said in a angry tone mad at the book. "I know right, what a scam, lets skip that step. Starlight said.

Spike scratched his face. "Ok how about I read the next step". Spike said. "Fine". Twilight and starlight said.

"Phew, ok it says add 3 strawberries, and smash them up. Spike said. "B-but i hate strawberries!! Twilight said.
"THEN WHY THE HELL DID YOU PICK A SWEET STRAWBERRY CAKE RECIPE IN THE FIRST PLACE!? Spike said in a frustrated tone.

"I don't know because she wanted to? But i don't like strawberries either..so who can we give this cake to? Starlight said.

"Maybe we can give it to celestia! She loves cake! Twilight said. "Ok then! When we finish it will go to canterlot and give it to her! Starlight said. "Then its settled, whats the next step? Twilight asked. "It says add 3 cups of water then bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Spike said.

"Would'nt water make it less sweet and make it bitter!? Twilight said. "Yeah, lets just skip this step and put it in the oven. Starlight said.
"Your cake is gonna come out like shit" Spike said. "Um, ok" Twilight said in a annoyed tone as Starlight gave spike "the look".

"And now..we wait" Spike said. They stood silent until Twilight broke the silence.

"Starlight lets play chess! Twilight said.
Twilight and starlight went out of the kitchen leaving spike there.

"cool, leave me again. Spike said in a fading voice.

meanwhile..

"Emm NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoo you won again!!! how do you keep winning arghh! Twilight said in a frustrated tone.
"ha, i guess im just good! Starlight said. "lets do a rematch-". Twilight said as she was cut off.
"oh no thats..THE OVEN!! Starlight said.
"THE CAKES GONNA BURN! Twilight said.

Twilight and starlight both teleported to the kitchen to get the cake out.

"good! your are here i was wondering where you were! i got the cake out for you but.. Spike said.

The cake was not stiff, it was milky, it looked more like a pink drink with sugar and a milkshake in a cake pan.
"OoH it looks so good! Starlight said.
"it does doesnt it. Twilight said.

"Are you two blind? Spike said. "no! we just have good taste! twilight said in a offended tone.
"ugh, whatever lets just get this to Princess Celestia.

They were on the train while Twilight and starlight were sitting next to eachother, and spike was sitting on the seat in front of them.

"i dont think celestia is gonna like it. Spike said. "well, i think she will like it wanna bet on it? Starlight said. "yes! what for? Spike asked.

"if I win, then you will have to be me and twilights maid but it takes it to the next level, and- if you win me and twilight will be your maid- Starlight said as she was cut off "Wait, im not being a maid for shit! Twilight said. "You won't have to, because celestia will like it! so, bet? Starlight said.

"bet! oh we are finally here! Spike said.

"So why did you come to see me at such little notice? Celestia said. "Well, we wanted to bring you a cake that me and starlight made ourselves, we hope you like it~! Twilight said.

Celestia tasted it.

"twilight, my faithful student.. get this shit out of my face before i banish you to the moon for a billion years.

"BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAhAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH TOLD YOU! spike laughed.

"You too spike, this isnt even a cake!? this looks like a milkshake in a cake pan!? we did a cooking lesson back at my school? Celestia said.

"heh..about that..

Twilight showed a flash back of her reading during the cooking lesson.

"twiliey, come back when you learn to cook thanks. Celestia said.

'well, that was a bust. Starlight said.

3 weeks later.

"ah..more rubys please. Spike said.
"ugh, i wish we never made that cake. Starlight said.
"agreed" Twilight said.
"now a kiss from both of you" Spike said.

"hell no! Starlight said.
"i don't care how much power you have im not- wait.." Twilight said.
"what is it twi? Starlight said.
"Well.. really, legally Celestia made him my maid, and if he's my made he's starlights maid soo.." Twilight said.

twilight and starlight both pushed Spike out of the chair he was sitting in so they both sat in it.

"two lemonades please. "starlight and twilight said doing a sly smile.

"this is life. wow." Spike said.
