Deep inside an abandoned mine, a dark, creepy creature sat there as many eggs were laid. That dark female creature was very happy to be the queen of her new hive. She had spent days to laid those eggs and it was worth it. Chrysalis-the creature, who had just designed this hive a month ago, was not a very happy creature, instead, she lusted for so many things in her life. Her wills were strong and she would do anything to reject any creature that dared to stand in her way. But that didn't mean she didn't love her children, she loved them as long as they follow and respect her 'Finally, this day has come. With the newly hatched changelings, I'll train them and conquer the world.' Thought Chrysalis as she chuckled Cleaned herself, she decided to go to her chamber, but something was wrong. Her instinct told her to look for that thing. After a while of searching, the "object" appeared before her eyes. It was an egg with different material " Well I have no idea about what this gonna be. Maybe it just had a little different DNA, the egg still looked like changeling egg but with different color and material". Chrysalis murmured to herself. The soon-going-to-be queen walked to her room with the egg in her magic. Opened the door to her chamber, she gently put it in the corner of the bed and sat down next to the egg, carefully not to cause any harm for her child. Looked at it curiously, the changeling wonder if this child had something better than the others "A while of rest would be nice but I still have to prepare nursery it's still haven't completed yet". Said Chrysalis to herself Exited her chamber, the queen went to check her works. The hive still had some problems, which could be dangerous for her children. That's why she had to rebuild some parts to keep it safe for the hatchlings -----------_______2 weeks later_______----------- The date had come, Chrysalis had worked hard for this day which the eggs would be hatched. Walked through the hall full of cracked eggs, she got to her room and was so excited to see her special child. At the moment in the room, the egg began to crack, one crack then followed next crack. Until the egg was fully separated, a little changeling appeared in sight. Chrysalis wasn't there in time to fully watch her child hatched. But enough to saw her daughter tried to get out of the egg .Her chitin was purple, which differed from the normal original changelings, but this wasn't the most surprising to her. After checking everything, she was very sure that her daughter was a royalty, which got a low chance in birth 'That was unexpected. I haven't thought that I would birth a royalty on my first try. I'll have to tell mom about this. She is going to be happy to have a grandchild for herself'. Thought Chrysalis. Noticed that her daughter was looking at her curiously, she gave her a nuzzle then held her close in her holes hoofs as she heard her squeak. Looked into her eyes, a beautiful soft lavender iris, which shine-like star when she studied the queen actions. The eyes reminded her about the stars on the beautiful horizon at midnight. And her mane was dark alongside pink and purple strip, it also reminded her about the twilight. Then an interesting thought went into her mind "You reminded me so much about the night sky, now I know what your name going to be. From now on you are "Twilight Sparkle", a beautiful name for you" said Chrysalis as she nuzzled Twilight once more. ----------_______5 years later in Meadow Hive_______---------- Within the dark, threatening and dangerous Elimu forest, famous for the unknown creature which can kill any creature dare step into their home. Deep inside it was a hive which Chrysalis spend her childhood. The hive got a peaceful atmosphere. But that didn't mean it's not dangerous, it still could make the uninvited creature chill when they got lost in the forest Queen Dranix, the ruler of this hive, was sitting on the throne with a lot of paperwork to deal with. Suddenly a voice grew in the hive mind "My queen, your daughter just came here a while ago with a very young-ling. Shall we let her in?" "Yes, we shall. I heard she bear royalty. I haven't met her for a while so this is a great chance to meet my granddaughter" "Yes, my queen. I'll inform the guard to let them in" "Also, tell the guard to prepare them a room next to my chamber, I want to spend as much as time for my family" It took a while until the doors to the throne room opened, review Chrysalis and her daughter, Twilight Sparkle "I guess you already got the good news, mother". Said Chrysalis to her mother "Of course, it's the best news I can get from you, you know that right?" And she succeeded many times, her best skill, disguised as a creature helped her many times as she kidnapped many creatures and bring the love back to the hive. But this time was different, Queen Chrysalis wouldn't just let her do one job for too long until she adapted, the changeling queen would give her harder tasks. Even busy with her work, the young princess hadn't made the queen disappointed , even if she unsuccess. Today, she would get her new task, her mother had told her to come to the throne room yesterday. This meant she had to wake up early to get the task from her, from what she heard, she was going to get an important task that could affect the hive. Running through the nursery, she arrived at the throne room, which was filled with many changelings, included her mother. "Finally, you have arrived. I have an important task for you, which may take you a long time" The queen sighed then continued "You are going to spy on Equestria ruler, Celestia. You can disguise yourself as anything you want, but I recommended filly would easier to approach the Princess since she attended the magic school. The young princess had done many things for the hive, and she knew the queen wouldn't risk her daughter's life for spying. But she had no other choice, if the queen wanted to conquer the world, she would start with Equus, which famous for the loving ponies. With those love, everything will be in place. 'Only this time, I won't let her do this kind of task anymore' Thought Chrysalis --------------------_______________Evefree Forest_______________-------------------- After she went through the desert, the changeling Princess noticed a forest in front of her. Opened the map, it was the Everfree Forest, the most dangerous forest. The forest contained many mysterious creatures, which her mother already warned her to be careful while passing it. Slowly, she stepped into the forest, careful not to get any attention from the monsters "Wow, so many things I haven't seen before, but this can be dangerous. I haven't seen any detail about those so I would better careful with this" Said Twilight as she looked around her carefully. But unfortunately, the changeling put too much attention to the 'things' around her and forgot about the presence of the Manticore. The creature already waited for her to come and attack her. But luckily she had some experience with Manticore before, so when it attacked, she got out of its grip thank to teleport "Wow, that was a close call. Look like it's not safe here, I should fly." Said Twilight as she transformed to a pegasi form The flight went on until she reached Ponyville. 'This town looks so peaceful' Thought Twilight to herself as she landed. Found for her somewhere empty, she transformed to a unicorn form, which was her most favorite form. Compared to her changeling form, it's still the same but her color was changed to light purple. With her holed hoofs, horn and mane were gone, now she looked like a real pony. Going around the town, she hadn't found anywhere good enough to stay. Found another place, she changed to pegasus again and took a flight to Canterlot. Hid behind the houses, she changed herself into the foal version of her unicorn form and waited until night. After waited for hours, she found a family, who looked fit for her need of love. They seem to have a lot of love for each other. All she needed is acted as a homeless child, get their attention, and convinced them to adopt her. 'What a perfect plan' She chuckled evilly and teleport to an alley the couple would go to When the couple reach the entry of the alley, they saw the filly in front of them 'unconscious'. Just like her plan, they brought her back to their home. ----------------_____________ 3 hours later____________------------------- Her plan worked well enough. They had studied together, until the 1000th Summer Sun Celebration, the princess sent her to Ponyville, and with the help of her new 'friends, they managed to save Luna. After the event, she was allowed to stay in Ponyville in order to stay with her friends and learn more about friendship power. Thanks to the strong bond of friendship, they managed to defeat Discord and became the savior of all Equestria. But the thing that the five other ponies didn't know that their bookworm friend is only a spy, and is secretly informing her mother of everything that is happening in Equestria The group played together then had a picnic with each other. Until they received a letter from the Princess of the Sun via spike’s fire breath magic, opened it, and to their surprise. Her 'brother' was getting married "What, my brother is going to get married.?" Shouted Twilight. "So that means I can organize a party, right? I'm so excited" Asked Pinkie Pie excitedly. "Calm down, sugarcube everything will be alright, we don't know who your brother is going to marry yet." Said Apple Jack as the other nodded. "So, are we going to Canterlot now?." Asked Rarity hopefully. "Yeah, I think so." Answered Rainbow Dash "In my opinion, I think we should go back home and prepare. I still need to tell my animals about my absence." Said Fluttershy "Yeah, Fluttershy was right, we haven't prepared anything yet. Let's go home and prepare then we will start going to Canterlot tomorrow." Reasoned Twilight to go back to the library The group went back to their home and prepare. "Twily, sorry I haven't told you about this. But the bride was your babysitter, Cadance." "Cady? My old foalsitter? Oh my gosh, I haven't met her for years." The changeling 'excitedly' jumped around her brother 'Look like no one noticed my mother was here.' Thought Twilight "I hope I wasn't bothering you two." A familiar voice raised behind Twilight as she turned and realized who was the owner of that voice "Cady, it's me Twilight." Blinked Twilight to the love princess then turned to her 'brother' "Shiny, I want to talk to 'Cadence' for a while, don't disturb us when we talk, please.?" "Ok, Twily, I'll be here whenever you two done talking." Happily answered Shining Armor. ------------------______________Cadence's personal chamber ______________------------------ Both of them were inside the room, with the door locked and the guards already warned, they dropped their disguises. "Daughter, I heard your 'friends' are here right?" Asked Chrysalis for sure. "Yes, mother. They are the other bearers of the elements beside me." "Good to hear, I have a mission for you. You will take those jewelry" Pointed the queen to a box." and then hide those in your friends' rooms. I'll tell the princess to find them and check their rooms, then they will be arrested for stealing my jewelry. Is it clear, my dear daughter?." Asked Chrysalis 'sweetly'. "Crystal, mother. But I will have an appointment tonight, I think that will be a good time for me, can you disguise as myself, I'll go to their room and hide the jewelry." The queen nodded in agreement. The group left the Castle and back to Ponyville in regret, without knowing the mastermind of the plan. Twilight walked through the hallway along with her mother, they had removed their best threats. Tomorrow, the wedding would be organized, her plan would finally succeed after years spied on the ruler. The changeling queen and princess headed back to Cadance's chamber while talked about the wedding so as not to be doubted by the ponies. With the captain of the royal guards under her control and the real princess inside the crystal mine, Invaded Equestria would be only a matter of time. ------------------______________Royal wedding ______________------------------ Stood in the podium was the captain of the royal guards, Shining Armor, fully controlled, next to him was Twilight. 'Cadance' walked to the room, wore a dress made by a new fashioner who was invited yesterday after Twilight's friends were banned. Made her way to the podium, opposite the captain. "Dear mares and gentle colts, we gather here today to ..." Celestia's voice stopped abruptly when a new but familiar voice rang through the room, the owner was no one else but Luna. "STOP, ponies run away from that princess, she is a changeling who trying to feed on the love of the captain here." Shouted Luna to the fake princess with the real Cadence behind her back. "Right you are, Princess. As a queen of the changelings, it is my duty to keep my changelings strong and fully fed." Laughed 'Cadance' she dropped her disguise reveal her true identity, Queen Chrysalis "My plan was to conquer this kingdom and it nearly worked until you appear." The changeling smirked "But that still doesn't change the situation, the bearers were banned from the wedding so they would never come here in time." "Really? So you were the one who blamed us for stealing your jewelry." Said Rainbow Dash angrily as she tried to punch Chrysalis on her face but was held back by the queen's magic. "I haven't thought you would be here, but you wouldn't win against me, I have prepared for years." "Twilight, you should go get the Elements with your friends, I'll stop her." Said Celestia. 'Twilight, go with them and acted like you got caught, my changelings will get you back here.' Said Chrysalis in the hive mind as she shot a beam to the pony princess Twilight nodded to her 'friends' and ran out of the room. Meanwhile, the changelings crashed to the shield to aid their queen and princess. After the changeling princess ran out of the castle, the shield began to crack and collapse. Some changelings landed at the castle to help their queen. The others flew to the direction Twilight was running as the queen command. The changelings then crowded in front of the element storage, stopped her 'friends' from getting what they wanted. The crowd began to change into the element bearers, tried to distract them for a while, as the fight went on, the bearers lost. Twilight was led to the castle again and the other to the dungeon. Dropping her pony disguise, she entered the cemetery hall. The view inside it satisfied her, Celestia was wrapped in the cocoon, Luna's, Cadance's horns and hoofs were stuck in changeling's slime. Her presence got Luna's attention. "Twilight? So you were a changeling all the time? Look like I was so wrong. I thought I could trust you, I thought you were my friend, I even bring myself to love you, li-like a lover, but I was wrong." Cried Luna in disappointment Author's Note Surprised, right? Even when she 'saved' Luna from her corruption, she hadn't felt it. 'Maybe she had it after the Nightmare Night?' Wondered Twilight to herself. The princess became confused about what happened. She loved Luna, but the changeling never thought the night Alicorn would love her back. Choosing between your own love and family love was hard, which couldn't be fully balanced when you had to choose one of two, and she was in this situation. One side was the love of her lover, but also her betrayal to her changelings and her mother's trust, another was the love of her mother, the respect of her subject, and the loss of her real love. To decide this wasn't easy, but she had to choose, which was painful to her. The young princess lost in her own thought until her secret lover's voice rang again. "Twilight, please, release us. We can make a deal between two races, we can live in peace and enjoy our time together." Pleaded Luna to the changeling princess. "Mother, can we stop now? I think we had gone too far, and Luna was right, if we have a deal, our race won't need to invade anymore, we can live in peace, no harm, and loss. There will be nothing left if we still trying to conquer this kingdom" Said Twilight to the queen, already made her choice. "Very well, Princess. So tell us what deal are you going to make before we set you free" Answered the queen, who nodded. "We can assure you and your changeling will have enough love, also you and your daughter can stay here with us. Also, I'll protect your daughter with all my power as long as she agrees to be my lover" Said Luna. "Your offers seem good enough for us, changelings, set them free but don't remove the slime on their horns" Commaded Chrysalis as the drones obeyed her. The Equestria princesses were free once again, or at least they were free to move around. The rulers of the two races quickly discussed the deal, as they all agree that the changelings can stay in the mine while Twilight and Chrysalis could have their own rooms in the castle. The changelings would be treated like ponies and they would have to do the same to the ponies. The deal was very good, but one rule made her confuse, the Sun princess asked her to let her little daughter marry her sister, it would be a good thing, but she had to sacrifice her daughter's love if the little princess didn't love the Night princess. But in the end, the young changeling princess had accepted the proposal, and Luna was happy to hear that. The couple spent most of their time together, watching the beautiful night sky, playing games, and many more things. But that didn't mean the two didn't spend their time with family, every weekend, they would spend a day with Celestia and the other day with Chrysalis. ---------------___________2 years after the Royal Wedding___________--------------- The rulers of pony and changeling had become best friends, they helped each other in economic. Since Equestria was lack of minerals, the queen volunteered to find them inside the mines. But in exchange, ponies would let them feed on their love, but within a limit. For Twilight and Luna, they had decided to step further in their love, both of them had decided to organize the wedding next month and they looking forward to it. Yesterday, a letter was sent to the changeling princess who said that Twilight's adopted family would bid them a visit included, including Shining Armor and Cadance, they had forgiven for what the young changeling did in the past and the crystal princess was happy to meet her again. Everything seems good after the first royal wedding, except the relationship with her friends. They had gone mad at her because she was unfaithful. The bearers treated her as their real friend but she wasn’t, the changeling also blamed them to finish her plan. And because of these actions, the five ponies didn’t want to befriend her anymore. ---------------___________Canterlot’s Train station___________--------------- The royal family was waiting for somepony arrival, which seems very important. The sky turned dark slowly and the train seems not to arrive in time. But lucky for them, a blur appeared in distance. A colorful crystal train had stopped in the station, its door opened and the guards stepped out of the entrance. They stepped aside to let the Crystal princess get out of the train along with her husband. They stepped out of the floor, which was covered by a red carpet. Before the couple had a chance to look at the group, the changeling princess rushed over to her adopted sister-in-law. “Sunshine, sunshine, ladybug awake. Clap your hooves and do a little shake.” Laughed the two ponies when they finished the song and hugged each other. “Oh, Twilight it’s a long time since I met you” Said Cadance to her little sister. “Me too, Cady.” “Erm... you forgot us. And it seems like you loved her more than me” Twilight and Cadance blushed when Luna laughed at her joke “It’s ok Twilight, just a joke. Come here, let share a hug, it’s a rare occasion when you two come to visit us” The crystal princess and prince nodded and stepped to the group to hug each other. “Look like it’s getting late now, we should go back to the castle now if we don’t want to get the other ponies attentions” Said Celestia, who realized the ponies looked at them. The group exited the station and made their way to the large castle. The ponies seem excited when they passed them, a few fillies even tried to get close to the royal family but then was stopped by their parents, preventing them to go further to the family way. ---------------___________Canterlot Castle___________--------------- The family entered the dining room, which filled with food. They took their seats and started eating. “So how were you two? Was the empire ok?” Asked Twilight Velvet to her daughter-in-law. “Everything was ok, mom. The pony there was good to us. And we have good news for you” Said Cadance as she turned to her husband and blinked. “Really? What news you bring here today.?” “To what we discover last week, Cadance had been pregnant for two weeks” Said Shining Armor, who nervously waited for reactions . “What? You two are having a baby?” Shouted Night Light while the other laughed at his overreacted. The room went silent again as the other didn’t know what to say about the news, it was too soon. “Wow, that was unexpected” Said Luna, breaking the silence of the room. “Yeah, we hadn’t expected that too. It was too soon for us anyway.” “I think we should change the topic before we make them uncomfort” The changeling princess earned a nod from her mother. “Yeah, how was the relationship between you two?” Said Cadance, who turned to the changeling and Luna. “Our relationship had improved a lot since the first day, we both decided to organize the wedding soon.” “That was good to hear. I was hoping you two would get married soon.” “Um... I wanted to ask you this. She was happy because her grandchild was going to get married, which different from her mother who took a lot of her effort to get her into marriage and then divorced. You can come in" Replied Twilight, who chuckled at the queen excited. The door opened, reveal the queens along with her lover. They stepped in and stared at her like she was an alien. "Um... Is something wrong? Am I look bad?" Asked Twilight. "No, of course not. You look beautiful, just that we were surprised." "Yeah, we couldn't recognize you when we entered the room" Added Luna. "Ok. I think the ceremony will start soon, we should better go there." The group exited the room and went to the ceremony hall. ------------------______________Ceremony hall______________------------------ Standing on the podium, Princess Twilight along with Queen Chrysalis looked nervously to the door. A while later, the time they waited finally came, the door opened to let the Moon Princess in. Walked over the podium, the Lunar Princess stopped next to her sister. Everything looked the same as the first Royal Wedding, but more simple. The couple stood tall, waited for the Love Princess to start. "Mares and gentle colts" The same sentence from the first wedding sounded throughout the room " We gather here today to celebrate the wedding of Princess Luna and Princess Twilight Sparkle. The love they showed to each other was quite clear. Luna, will you accept this mare as your lawfully wedded wife?." "You bet that I do." "How about you, Twilight. Do you accept her to be your lawfully wedded wife?." "Yes, I do." "Then I pronounce you, Luna and Twilight lawfully wedded. You may kiss the bride." The couple closed their distance to kiss each other blissfully, both surprised about how soft the other mare lips were. After a minute or a decade to them, the lovers broke their kiss and looked into each other eyes, their eyes shone brightly. The difficulties had passed, they could finally live with each other peacefully, at least for now. Exiting the castle, they walked to the crowded street. With a bouquet held by Twilight’s magic, she threw it over the crowd while everypony waited to know the lucky pony who received it. The bouquet fell over a group of mares until it a pony jumped and took it. The mares seem angry at the fun breaker, they tackled her down, trying to steal the bouquet until they realized everypony was laughing at their action. The couple still made their way to the carriage, didn’t notice the chaos. They stepped in and sat down next to each other while Chrysalis and Celestia stood outside. “Enjoy the trip daughter, because you will miss it in the future,” Said Chrysalis. “Your mother was right, after this honeymoon, you two won’t have much time to travel anymore, so have fun” Agreed Celestia. “Of course, mother. We only have 4 days to enjoy ourselves.” “Don’t worry about that sister, we sure will have a lot of fun. You already know we have a lot of things to do when we get there” Answered Luna, who looked up to see it’s the right time to go “Look like we have to go now if we don’t want to pass the forest in the nighttime although it’s not really dangerous.” “Goodbye, sister” The solar monarch and changeling Queen waved their hooves at the moving carriage until it was gone. “Hope they will have a great time together,” Said Celestia to herself. ------------------______________Amari Meadow______________------------------ After hours of traveling, they finally arrived. The meadow was big, but quiet but wasn’t dangerous like Elimu Forest. Although not many people knew about the forest which had many beautiful places like waterfall, mountains, and lake so the couple could spend their time outdoors exploring the beautiful nature instead of staying at home. The forest also had many animals which didn’t bring any harm so they can play with them. Exiting the carriage, Luna and Twilight looked around, surprised at the peace of the meadow, even some animals came close to them as if wanted the couple to feed and play with them. It was Celestia’s idea to came here and it was the right choice, everything was perfect. Entering the wooden house, in the living room, the royalty ponies completely surprised by the decoration inside the house, the wall was decorated like the moonrise time, the color was dark and stars hanged by the strings, which were made of crystals from Crystal Empire. ’I have to thank Cadance and Shiny for this special gift’. The Moon was painted in the wall base also made of clear crystal and the floor made of wood. There were also six rooms in this house, a kitchen, a living room, two bathrooms, a couple of bedrooms in case one of them needed privacy, a living room. The kitchen was stone-floor and covered by white walls, ‘This must be Celestia’s idea, she made it too bright’ Frowned Luna. The couple made their way to the next rooms, which were the bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom still looked the same way but the bedrooms had different designs of cutie marks and colors, but both covered by a wooden floor. Although they had two bedrooms Twilight decided to stay with Luna because the night princess’ room had a telescope and the best view to look at the night sky, which they could spend time looking at the stars. After they took a look at the house, the lovers walked outside to watch the scenery which was very romantic. Both of them regretted that they could stay here for four days, everything in this forest was very good, the animals were friendly, many beautiful places, there weren’t annoying nobles who would bother their days and nights to get what they wanted, not many white color decoration, just mainly green, brown and blue. They took their seat next to a lake until some creature came close to them, the couple stroked the animals gently with hooves and fed them. The day passed quickly, Twilight and Luna said their goodbye to the animals and got home. Entering the living room, they surprised again, the ‘moon’ and ‘stars’ shone when the night came, which was unexpected. The living room looked like a perfect zoom-out version of the night sky and they really like it. ‘Look like another surprise from Celestia had worked perfectly’ Thought Twilight. “We should go here if we have time” Said Luna, who looked at the shining ‘stars’. “Yeah, I wished we have more time to stay here” Answered Twilight as she agreed to Luna. “The nobles wouldn’t let us alone if we were still in Canterlot” Twilight nodded “Talking about nobles, I hope Celestia was ok with it.” “She will be ok, you already know that she took care of your work for a thousand years until your return, also with my mother's help everything is going to be fine.” “I hope so” Replied Luna “We should take a bath now if we don’t want the bed to get dirty.” “Ok, you can take a bath first if you want, I don’t mind anyway.” “Why don’t we take a bath together, we can tell each other about our childhood.” “Umm....my childhood wasn’t really much to memorize, most time I only spend with my mother so it was the same” Said the changeling princess sadly. “Sorry about that, I didn’t know you didn’t have many different memories. If you want, I’ll tell you Celestia’s and mine.” “It’s ok, I’m fine. The time I spend with my mother was fun, it was just the same but it means our family bond was strong. And yes, I wanted to hear your childhood” Said Twilight, who followed Luna to the bathroom. They took a seat in the bathtub and open the warm water tap, letting the water help them relax after a day. “I was getting a little jealous of you, you had a full childhood with your mother but I wasn’t that lucky with my sister. Although your mother got many things to do, she still loves and spends time taking care of you, and that didn’t change until now. We used to love each other a lot but until Equestria was founded, we had our duties and didn’t have time for each other as much as we used to anymore, which lead to the accident” Said Luna sadly “It’s ok now, you got me. I’ll be here with you, I’ll be by your side and protect you” Answered Twilight, trying to lighten the mood of Lunar Princess “I think talking about your past will help you better. You can tell me” “It was a long time ago....” //-------------------------------------------------------// New life //-------------------------------------------------------// New life ------------------______________Canterlot Castle-______________------------------ The wedding was already over, Chrysalis, Dranix, and Celestia stepped into the castle, which was very messy. Sighing heavily, the solar princess called for the servants to clean up and led the queens to their rooms. “Mother, grandmother, I think you both have exhausted after this wedding so my guards will lead you to your rooms.” The white Alicorn started her speaking “And also there is a thing I want to tell you because this is the first time you come here, grandmother, so I and mother Chrysalis have prepared a tour around this castle and other famous places.” “Yes, mother. We wanted you to enjoy this place and the culture here for a few days before going back to your hive again” “Well, if you two have planned this for me, then I’ll go and enjoy a bit. It would be nice to have a break here after years working for the hive” Said the eldest changeling queen, who nodded and nuzzle her daughter and granddaughter-in-law. “It is getting late now, I suppose we should go back to our room” The royalties nodded at her words and then went back to their room. ‘Such a busy day, I hope Twilight will enjoy the honeymoon” Thought Chrysalis as she slowly drifted herself to sleep peacefully. ------------------______________Amari Meadow______________------------------ Today was the last day the royal couple would spend in this meadow, both regretted that they hadn’t had enough time to explore and enjoy all the beautiful sites here. Waiting outside the house, they hoped that, in the future, the couple could have some more trips like this. “What a wonderful trip, right Twilight?” asked Luna, who played with a rabbit in front of her. “Yeah, I want to stay here, but today is the last day so I guess that we will have to wait for another time” Replied Twilight with a bit of disappointment in her voice. “Maybe we should go here on Heart and Hooves day? This place would be a perfect place to enjoy the holiday” “That was a good idea, we should invite our family too” agreed Twilight to the Lunar princess idea “This would be a perfect way to avoid the nobles and royal duties” Talking to each other, they didn't notice that the carriage ran to them until the rabbit ran away. Luna watched the rabbit, wondering what happened as she was put out of her thought by Twilight's voice. "Luna, what are you doing there? The carriage already here. Let's prepare and back to the castle before it getting late" Said Twilight as she took their luggage into one of the seats while Luna bid her goodbye to the animals. The couple entered the carriage and took their seats next to each other, leaning to Luna, Twilight sighed comfortably, the honeymoon ended much better than they expect at the wedding. “I’m so excited that we can see them again, I hope they are doing well without us” Said Twilight, who tried to guess what the other royalties doing right now. “Don’t worry, they will be fine. My sister used to handle all the works for years so everything will be ok.” The purple changeling nodded and looked over the window. They were getting out of the meadow and heading back to the city. The plain ended and the carriage entered the Everfree Forest, which was the reason they must return the castle before it got dark. There would be some problems that they had to face if the couple chose to stay in the meadow for a little more and the royalty couple knew better than choosing this way, this could risk their safety just for a little time, which they could spend another in next year. ------------------______________Canterlot Castle______________------------------ The carriage had arrived at the castle door, but the couple hadn’t exited it yet. Worrying for her sisters, Celestia opened the door to check on them but only to find the couple leaned on each other sleeping peacefully on their seats. ‘They must be tired after this trip, I should let them sleep for a while.’ lost in her thought, the princess suddenly came back to reality, looking over her back, she noticed the changeling queens looked at her worriedly as if something had happened. “They are both ok, don’t worry mother, grandmother, they were just tired because of the trip” The solar princess’s words eased the worries on the queens’ hearts as she teleported all of them back to Twilight’s and Luna’s chamber Placing the couple on the bed, the others also sat down on the king-size bed carefully, not to wake them up. Resting their heads on the pillows, Celestia turned off the light and three of them joined the dream world. Several hours later, the changeling princess woke up in a dark room, fearing something bad had happened, she turned around only to see her family and Luna slept peacefully on the bed. Calming herself, she sighed and slowly stepped out of the room. Opening the door, the young changeling entered the hall and headed to the kitchen to find some food. While Twilight headed to the kitchen, Celestia and Luna had awakened to lower the sun and raise the moon. Finishing their duty, they scanned the room and realized that Twilight was missing. Walking the others, they stormed out of the room to search for her until a guard stood in front of the room informed her. "Your highnesses, you finally awake. Princess Twilight asked me to tell you that she is in the kitchen if you all want to meet her" his words got their attention as the four creatures calmed down. "Thank you for informing us, we will make our way to the kitchen to have dinner" replied Celestia to her subject. Walking past the hallway, they finally arrived at the kitchen. Sitting on one of the seats was Twilight, who was eating her sandwich as she looked up because of the noise. "Good evening, I didn't notice you all entering this room," said the changeling princess who notice their worries "sorry if I made you all worried because of my disappearance. I thought you might want to sleep for a little more, so I told the guards. I think he already told you." "Yes, my dear. He already told us" answered Luna as she came to nuzzled her love while the pony and changelings looked at them, which made the couple blushed after their action. "I thought you two already had enough time together after your trip, it would be very bad if you don't allow us to spend time with my daughter" teased the changeling queen to her daughter-in-law, which made Twilight blushed even harder "I just kidding, let have dinner together and tell us what was your trip was like." said Chrysalis, who got the other agreement. Taking seats, the royalties began their dinner with laughs and questions, which were missing when the pony and changeling were on their vacation.
