Author's Note

This is an extra chapter, these will be used to explain anything that I can't figure out how to put into normal dialogue without making it boring or repetitive, extra chapters will generally not be required to understand the story, but will shed some light on less explained things.

Extra chapter one: weapons

This is simply an enchanted sword, the thing in the middle of the pommel is an enchanted crystal that can be switched with other ones to change the effect of the sword, the one in it by default is a frost crystal, which has several effects, from causing anything it hits to become far colder, making in very useful against living things that don't have much resistance to the cold, To being able to shoot a few icicles. This sword has been with Frosty for most of his life, around two-hundred and fifty years, It was given to him by someone he held very dear, and has never left his possession since. The sword is rumored to be made out of ice from the deepest pits of the frost dimension, although he has never confirmed nor denied the rumors.

This is the scythe that was given to Frosty by the reaper, it is unknown as to what materials its made of, if they even exist anywhere other than this scythe. Aside from the magic cancelling effect and unidentifiable materials, it seems to be a normal scythe.

This is Frosty's armor, its made out of grade three palawium, and imbued with a large amount of cryomantic magic and has a frost core in the center of the chest, which means the the armor boosts his magic when he wears it. Normally frost cores are only found in the frost dimension, when asked how he got one he just shrugs and says: "I have my ways.". He only tends to wear his armor when he feels threatened, otherwise he just doesn't, as he feels that it could make fights to easy to win, and he likes to have a good challenge when fighting.

This is a x-51-para, despite that, he calls it an assault rifle, due to the barrel and stock that he has on it.
The x-51-para is a gun that belongs to the x-51 line, which is a highly modular group of guns that were initially made in 3 A.G.M (After Great Massacre), which was about a year after the first battle of Palawia, The events of the Great Massacre, and the first battle of Palawia made Frosty realize that his weapons were not as powerful as they could be.
The x-51 line comes in ten varieties. The mp-51 is the base variety, it is chambered in 10x30mm and has an rpm of 950, and has a magazine capacity of thirty bullets it has no extra barrel or stock attachments.
The x-51 line has four different attachments, aside from sights, Which are as follows: Short stock, long stock, light barrel, and heavy barrel. The short stock is lighter but less stable then the long stock. The light barrel is lighter, but has less magnets, thus less power when in railgun mode, then the heavy barrel
If you put a barrel and stock on the mp-51 is becomes a x-51-pdw.
The x-51-para is the lightest variety, Its chambered in 9x20mm, has an rpm of 1000, and a magazine capacity of 50. As the name implies, it is given to para-troopers
Frosty has a heavy barrel and long stock on it, which is why he calls it an assault rifle.

This is a heavily modified x-29 rifle, which was a semi-auto, internal magazine rifle that was used during the first battle of Palawia, but replaced during afterwards. It was chambered in 13x70mm, but his has been modified to shoot the standard eight gauge shell, he prefers to use birdshot rather than buckshot.

This is a x-35 revolver, This is the gun that Frosty has had in his arsenal the longest, and thus he doesn't go anywhere without it. The x-35 is way outdated, its actually one of first guns ever designed with the magnets in barrel, for the railgun mode. Despite being around two-hundred years old, it still works very well, Its chambered in the, no longer produced, 12x65mm round, due to this it packs quite the punch even when the magnets are off.

This is an x-75 aa cannon, The x-75 was originally put into use in 7 A.G.M and is a replacement to the x-21 anti materiel rifle. It's chambered in the very powerful 25x200mm round, which is powerful enough to shoot through most things, without the magnets, when the magnets are enabled, this thing is ungodly powerful, most guns range from mach-2 to mach-10 with magnets, this thing can get up to mach-25. Due to that, it requires an external battery, rather than an internal one. It was the first gun to utilize an r.d.s (recoil dispersion system), this is because that a functional r.d.s is bulky, and putting it in anything smaller than this would be useless.

This is a lever action rifle, the particular model is unknown, as Frosty picked this up off of the ground following a particularly bloody battle, it's been modified to be chambered in 15x100mm, rather then whatever it was chambered in before. Due to the way the U.P.E (United Palaw Empire) runs its army, any soldier can just pick up a gun laying on the ground, and given that they can maintain it and acquire ammo for it themselves, they can use it all they want. This particular rifle is from the R.P.S

This is the x-81 chaingun, its a standard model, put on anything from tanks, to air craft, to small space ships, as well as fortifications, and occasionally light vehicles. Due to the sheer amount of ammo required to keep up with its rpm of six thousand, it has a magically enhanced backpack that can hold up to one-hundred-thousand, it also has a large battery to deal with the amount of power required to use the magnets. It's chambered in 13.5x85mm which is entirely unique to it. Due to its size, it can handle a r.d.s, and due to its insane fire rate, and large bullet size, the r.d.s is required.

This is the prototype D.E.A, it is based off of a x-99 plasma accelerator, which was a total failure that ended up being worse than normal plasma weaponry. The way an accelerator works is by taking some form of concentrated energy, and some magic, you can spin, or accelerate it into a beam, which in the case of the plasma variant, would melt most anything, the heat generated by this was one of the main reason for the failure of the plasma accelerator. The D.E.A on the other hand, relies on dimensional energy, which when forced to go "critical" can straight up erase something from existence. From the few tests that have been done, it takes about two minutes to fully charge, then it has about thirty seconds worth of a beam, although the actual power of the beam has yet to be tested, it is highly likely that this could be a very powerful weapon given that it doesn't erase itself from existence.
