The gryphons had departed again and the only diamond dogs left were prison guards and inquistors. The inquistors made an appearance and they were grinning with impish grins like demons. They uncovered their cart that they had brought and upon it were instruments of torture. Braced against the wall, she was starved for two weeks. She then got food again, next she knew was getting beat to a pulp. After a few hours she lay prone on the ground whimpering. She then was staked in the center of a large cage. One day she was forced to fight ten dogs unarmed and she got beat severely. They got bored and got no information from her. The princesses were moving to fast for their foe, and after a few months would strike so swiftly that their wake would leave thousands to burn to death from the heat of the sun and infection.

Whirlwind Gust managed to get some sleep but was rudely a d painfully woken up with having a wing being broken. Holding her wing tightly as possilbat her side, and tried to survive another week of hell. The mentioned broken wing was soon severed with a dull bone saw. "Damn you fucking pony! Just give us what we want to know and you'll be free."

"Is that what you promised my sister? All I got to say is............go fuck yourself with a cactus!"

"So very vocal and crass, for that we're gonna drive a nail through the frog of your hoof." She saw them place a few nails near the flames to heat them up. A claw turned drill was set to work on her hoof. When they were done drilling, in pain she watched them drive a red hot nail into the small pre-drilled hole. It was followed by three more in the back right leg.

They performed more tortures and Whirlwind Gust kept silent. Her salvation came when the captor forces were rushing back behind the fortress walls and were trying to stem the visable tide of troops killing or maiming the enemy. Gryphons rushed in to the dungeon and saw what was being transpired killed all of the canines and she was brought to a comfortable room by a gryphon who was wearing Frostbite's pendant. The battle raging in front of the fortress would last for weeks, but the broken Whirlwind would never be the same.
