The County Of Longsword is a small, insignificant little nation within the heavily remote region of Central Griffonia. Being so far east of Equestria itself means that many ponies and the other inhabitants of Equus have never even heard of the small nation. However locally speaking the nation is infamous for a few quite terrifying reasons. The biggest being the Longswordian Genocide, an attempt by the political organization known as the Reformisten to "purify" Longsword of the "pony menace" and create living space for all Griffins. But they are not unopposed, a group of partisans lead by the famed resistance fighter Starry Night have been sabotaging their efforts for a while now, while the extremely less radical military and it's leadership under Conrad Von Silvertalon seem to be growing more and more disillusioned with the Reformisten each passing day. However there is more still, the ponies to Longsword's east want revenge for Grover II's 200 year old crusades and Longsword is in their sights. All the while a young partisan and considered Starry's pupil, comrade Night Storm is continuing to rise through the ranks of the IIA, and he could not have imagined what the future has in store for him.

This Story Is Based On The Equestria At War Mod For Hearts Of Iron 4, But Some Changes Will Be Made To Help It Fit Into Canon A Bit More. Mainly Just Geography Though.
