SHHMP!
Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo were in the famous Apple Orchard- practicing archery and of course, trying to find another way to earn their cutie marks. Apple Bloom had just hit a bullseye.
"YES!" She turned around and pushed her flank up to her face for a closer look. No cutie mark. The three frowned.
"Ugh, what now?" Sweetie Belle groaned. She threw her bow and arrows away and fell on her back onto the dry, lime green grass, which was a bit dim due to the shade from their treehouse above.
"Ah have no idea! It shoulda worked..." Apple Bloom complained.
Scootaloo sighed. "That's okay. It was still a pretty amazing shot though." Frustrated, she reloaded her bow with another arrow and fired at the sky. Soon they heard a thud coming from the orchard.
"What was that?"
"I have no idea, let's go check it out!" Scootaloo sprinted to where the sound was coming from. Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle gave each other questioning looks and followed their friend. Scootaloo was looking around, trying to spot something, until she saw it.
"Over there!" Speeding up, she jumped past fallen apples and another 30 meters to reach the grey object. "Wait... IS THAT..?"
Derpy Hooves was on the ground. She didn't look good at all, or even alive. The arrow Scootaloo released into the air hit her right in the neck, blocking her airway and making her bleed out on the grass, turning it a frightful shade of crimson. Her eyes stared straight at nothing. If you were to look her in the eyes herself, your soul would shiver.
Sweetie Belle shrieked and closed her eyes. Scootaloo stood there in shock, realizing she was a murderer, and Apple Bloom was focused on Derpy's cutie mark for some weird reason. Derpy's cutie mark was shiny bubbles, and it blinged in Apple Bloom's sight.
"Hey.. I have an idea.."
-
Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo dragged the corpse out of sight, up the steps and into their clubhouse. Although it left a little trail of blood on the grass, they still managed to wash it off. Derpy sprawled on the floor of the Cutie Mark Crusaders' headquarters, and was still bleeding out on the wood.
"What are we gonna do with her?! I don't wanna be known as a CRIMINAL!" Sweetie Belle panicked.
"No, no, nopony's gonna know," Apple Bloom assured, walking up to Derpy with a knife she brought from her kitchen. "If we.. can't have cutie marks... nopony can."
"Apple Bloom, ARE YOU INSANE?" Scootaloo jumped in front of Apple Bloom before approaching the body. "What's gotten into you?! It's not that serious!"
"Out of ma way, Scootaloo, I need her cutie mark."
Scootaloo had no choice but to back away from Apple Bloom. She hesitated for a moment, but wanted to see where this was going. Apple Bloom held her knife tight and pressed it against Derpy's flank, and started carving a full circle around her cutie mark. To their surprise, Derpy screamed.
"She's alive, SHE'S ALIVE!" Scootaloo shouted. Derpy's noises were silenced after Sweetie Belle plunged an axe on her forehead, making her bleed out some more.
Scootaloo's eyes widened. "What the HECK?"
"SORRY! She told me to get an axe..." Sweetie Belle muttered.
Finally, Apple Bloom could proceed. She removed Derpy's cutie mark revealing her guts on the inside, and she pressed it against the wall, and it stuck, the blood and skin pressing into the wood. Apple Bloom's hoof was a bit bloody, but she didn't mind. That felt good.
"I guess lodging an axe into somepony's head isn't all that bad..." Sweetie Belle admitted. Scootaloo nervously gulped. What had become of her friends?
"Let's go collect some more cutie marks!"
"I'm down!" Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom stared at Scootaloo, waiting for her response. Giving in, Scootaloo nodded and followed the ponies into town. They spotted a cyan pony and a pink and navy haired pony walking down the street together.
"Hey, Lyra! Hey, Bon Bon!" Apple Bloom approached them. "Wanna come see something? Pretty pretty please?"
Lyra Heartstrings and Bon Bon took one look at the CMC's puppy eyes and complied. "O-Okay?-"
They soon ended up in the Apple Orchard, just right below the steps of the treehouse. But before Apple Bloom had left the treehouse to collect some more cutie marks, she'd stocked her clubhouse with everything they needed. She borrowed her big sister's rake, axe, chainsaw, knife and the ropes she lassos with. Lyra and Bon Bon had no idea what was coming for them. They only followed the crusaders up the steps before they stood aside and slowly opened the door, exposing Lyra and Bon Bon to the contents of the clubhouse. Before they were given a chance to react, Apple Bloom shoved them inside and went inside the dark room with Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle. They locked the door and watched their reactions.
"WH-WHAT THE- IS THAT DERPY??" Bon Bon screamed.
"No, PLEASE DON'T HURT US!" Lyra protested. She hugged Bon Bon who was starting to cry, because Derpy was one of their beloved friends.
"We're not gonna hurt you," Apple Bloom walked up to them. "We're putting you out of yer miseries. Don't you want to get rid of your cutie marks? They only cause you stress and confusion. Letting you wonder your whole lives about who you're really meant to be."
Lyra and Bon Bon cowered underneath Apple Bloom's shadow and were shaking in fear. To stifle all the frightened noises they were making, Apple Bloom had Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle tie their necks up, tightening their vocal chords and making it difficult for them to breathe. Soon they passed out, giving Apple Bloom the opportunity.
She did it again for the 3rd time; carving out their cutie marks and pasting it on the wall at the very back of the clubhouse.
"Um... Apple Bloom?" Sweetie Belle mumbled. "Your-your flank..."
Apple Bloom stopped in her tracks to turn her head around. To her astonishment, she had finally gotten her cutie mark. It was a knife covered in red, probably indicating her destiny was to be a murderer. It was nothing like the three expected.
Apple Bloom laughed. "Ah finally got it!"
Sweetie Belle was filled with confusion, fear and jealousy. She finally came to her senses. Luckily, Apple Bloom was alert and noticed Sweetie Belle had been hiding a mace in the clubhouse and brought it out to hit her friend.
"W-What do you think you're doing?" Apple Bloom held the mace on the other side before Apple Bloom impacted her.
"What's WRONG with you, Apple Bloom?!" Tears started streaming down her face.
"I'm doing the right thing! This is who I'm supposed to be; my DESTINY!" With an urge of strength, Apple Bloom managed to pick up the mace, still with her best friend on the other side, and swung it, throwing Sweetie Belle against the wall. Scootaloo only stood and watched; she didn't wanna get hurt.
Sweetie Belle fell on the ground. She looked up and noticed Apple Bloom was standing over her with the mace. "You're useless. At least ah still have Scootaloo with me." One swing and Sweetie Belle was gone.
Apple Bloom bit Sweetie Belle's back and picked her up, tossing her over to the pile of corpses. "C'mon, my dearest friend that ah know'll never betray me. Let's go have fun."
Scootaloo hung her head and followed her only friend left out of the clubhouse. She was holding in her tears, but she felt like screaming.
-
At the end of the day, Apple Bloom returned home. She walked inside the kitchen to grab something to eat, but saw Applejack cutting up some red delicious apples.
"Hey lil sister, you got your cutie mark!" Applejack beamed. "I'm so proud!"
"Um, yeah," Apple Bloom hoped she wouldn't know that she was a future murderer.
"What is it?"
Apple Bloom frantically looked around.
"Uh..." Her eyes landed on the knife and apple. "Cutting apples or red applesauce I guess?"
"Haha! Glad you finally got it," Applejack picked her sister up. "Ma sister ain't a baby no more!"
(A few days have passed.)
The stack of bodies on the floor kept piling up more and more each day. The cutie mark wall was almost 99% filled with colorful cutie marks covered in blood. It was a heavenly sight for Apple Bloom.
"Please Apple Bloom, don't do this!" Twilight Sparkle pleaded. She looked over to the pile and stared at the bodies, being familiar with all of them. Especially Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy.
"SWEETIE BELLE!!" Rarity wailed. She was tied beside Twilight, not taking her eyes of her sister's rotten corpse. She kept screaming and crying, and that was it for Apple Bloom. She decided to take Rarity out first. Before she got closer to them, she looked over at Scootaloo, who was standing nonchalantly trying to stay calm. Little did she know Scootaloo was drenched with fear.
"Ya'know what? It's yer lucky day, Scootaloo." Apple Bloom gave Scootaloo a chainsaw. Scootaloo's eyes were as big as saucers.
"Scootaloo, you're better than this! PLEASE!" Twilight Sparkle started to scream, drowning out Rarity's cries. She wanted to use her magic to escape; if it weren't for the fact Apple Bloom sawed their horns off.
Scootaloo breathed heavily and looked over at Apple Bloom, who was offering a polite smile. She gulped. She looked over at Twilight, whose eyes were tearing up, filled with terror. Scootaloo finally consumed the present, making her feel powerful, strong, and feared, the opposite of what old Scootaloo was. She was blinded with knowing that ponies were scared of her and never thought of how much they did in her life. She did it.
Scootaloo sawed Rarity's face off, stopping the wailing. The body collapsed on the floor as the half-head bled out, injecting more fear into Twilight Sparkle. It felt nice. It really did. She proceeded to move onto Twilight, who was wincing.
"Apple Bloom? APPLE BLOOM!"
"That would be my sister," Apple Bloom sighed. "WHAT IS IT, APPLEJACK?"
"Where are you? It's past yer curfew!" Applejack seemed to be getting closer. She didn't wanna get caught.
"Applejack! APPLEJACK, IT'S ME, TWI-" Apple Bloom shoved an axe into Twilight's airway and stacked her and Rarity's bodies on top of the pile, closing a curtain that she'd recently installed to cover half the room.
"Who was that? Why is there red liquid dripping down from the floor of yer clubhouse?" Applejack walked up the steps. Apple Bloom frantically opened the door.
"Uh, heyyy big sis!" She nervously smiled. "Don't come inside, there's nothing here."
"Ulgh, what is that smell, Apple Bloom?" Applejack cringed as she started pushing through her sister to walk in the clubhouse. "Scootaloo? What're you doing here?"
"I... I don't know! I'M SORRY!" Scootaloo ran out of the clubhouse and into the Everfree forest. Applejack furrowed her brow at the curtain in the clubhouse.
"What's behind there.. What's behind there, Apple Bloom? Why haven't I seen my friends in days?!"
"No-nothing!" While Applejack was turned around, Apple Bloom held up an axe. Applejack opened the curtain, revealing the stack of the rotten corpses of her friends, and a wall filled with about 25 cutie marks, turning the wooden wall red. It wasn't a pretty sight.
"WHAT IN TARNATION?!?!" When she turned around again, she spotted Apple Bloom about to throw her axe. Fortunately she was alert, and kicked her against the wall, puncturing her sister's abdomen. That was all for Apple Bloom. It was the end for her. Applejack ran to the Everfree forest, remembering seeing Scootaloo run out with a rope.
-
Scootaloo reached the edge of the spooky scary forest, not being able to run any farther. She was sobbing loudly, thoughts swirling up in her head.
She climbed a tall tree; a tree at that hung over a cliff, and clung to the branches. She tied the rope on the branch and the other end around her neck, looking up at the moon.
"Why. Why, Apple Bloom..."
"SCOOTALOO! Wait!" Galloping hoofsteps approached behind her. Scootaloo sadly turned her head to face Applejack, revealing her bloodshot eyes.
"I'm sorry."
