I open the door and at first I see the president but then i seen her white unicorn-no an alicorn talking to the president. Then it hits me like a ton of bricks, i remember seeing her somewhere she looks so, so familiar. I remember now i took my little sister to toys r us before i left for my SEAL training and i saw a toy that looks just like her. But this doesn't add up that was a toy but she was standing there talking to the president. "Ah john, please come in your just in time for the meeting." said the president I sat across the white alicorn and addressed myself "Hello my name is John McNeal." I said. She looked I'm my direction and said "I'm princess Celestia and you will be performing a mission for me that will be of the up-most importance.” "Ok so what’s the objective that you want me to perform for you?" i asked. she began to explain "my sister and myself had a fallout and i was forced to send her away to the moon for one-thousand years, i want you to come to my planet of Equestria, their you will be frozen in a statue like form, then and only then after a thousand years you will be released by one of the elements of harmony that uses the element of magi-” "Wait, hold on a minute. Another planet, a thousand years, this has to be a prank right!?" i said in an alarmed voice. "I'm sorry john but this is not a prank this is a serious matter that i need your help attending to." Celestia stated while stomping her hoof. "Sorry your majesty please continue what you were saying." i stated to Celestia, who was by this time was staring at me. "Thank you john, but back to the current task at hand. When you are released from the statue form you are to proceed to watch my sister on her return. If things go smoothly on her return, don’t kill her. But if the situation gets out of hand you must kill her." she said in a depressed tone. "It’s sad that it has come down to this but if I kill her myself i risk starting a political uproar for killing my fellow princess, but the public wouldn't suspect you." she stated in a lifted tone. "ok princess i have a question about this whole situation on my end, if the mission doesn't require me killing your sister, then what will happen to me?" i asked. A look of concern went across the president and Celestia's face. "Well, i was going to ask if you wanted to stay in Equestria for a permanent job. I don’t see the point of you returning to your home-world. You will be gone one-thousand years, everyone you will know and love will be long gone. Plus what i have to offer will make this worth It." she said giving me an uneasy smile. I began to stare off, i began to think to myself "what about my family?, my friends, my dreams, this is a once in a lifetime chance. but is it worth it. then i began to think about the life i had. being hated, horrible family life, used by friends for money, every relationship i ever had ended horribly. so the question went from what dont i want to lose, to what do i have to lose. i came back from my thought session and i looked at both of them and said "What are we waiting for lets do this" //-------------------------------------------------------// The Preperation //-------------------------------------------------------// The Preperation I left the meeting room to be met with the security escort, they knew to lead me to the exclusive armory located under the white house. We walked to a pair of guarded stairs leading to the armory, at the bottom of the stairs was a giant armor door. One of the guards punched in a code and the giant door slid into the wall and we proceeded into the armory. I stopped and stared at the walls upon walls of assault rifles, snipers, pistols, shotguns, and a few LMG's. One of the guards looked at me and said for me to take whatever i want. I looked at him and gave him a look of impression, never in my life have i seen so many weapons in one place and have a choice of which one I wanted. I named off guns that i wanted i wanted an Sr-25 with a 9x40 zoom scope, mp7, an ACR with holographic sights and a for-grip and a urban digital BDU (Battle Dress Uniform) and a 3-day expedition bag. After gathering my guns and gear i wanted to use a phone to call home, to say goodbye to my family. Ring-ring.....ring-ring....... "Hello you've reached the McNeal residence, sorry we missed your call please leave your name and number and we'll call ya back, thank you." *Beep* "Hey mom, dad its john..... ummm....... i have something to tell you guys, I'm going away on a mission and i may not come back, i love you guys and i couldn't have asked for a better childhood. You guys made me into the man I am today and if it wasn't for the both of you i would probably be some bum or a drug addict, but you guys kept me on track. And tell Maggie about the big brother that she had and give her a hug for me every night and tell her that her brother's keeping her safe from the boogie-man, i love you guys, bye. *click* I hung up the phone and walked away from it and i thought of Maggie, she’s only 2 years old, I hope she will remember me in the future. I met Celestia in the white house to prepare for the journey and the last time I’ll ever be on this planet. //-------------------------------------------------------// Found Feelings //-------------------------------------------------------// Found Feelings As I prepared to be frozen i started to think about everything that will happen while I'm "sleeping", my race being wiped out, being the last of my kind, it hit me hard. "wait." i said "What’s wrong john?" Celestia asked with concern "I have thought a lot of thinking about this whole thing, and i just need some time to rather myself before we proceed with this." "Are you ok, do you want to talk about it? "No it’s ok, I don't want to bore you, and do you have an area where I can relax at?" "You can use the castles private garden, and take as much time as you want, i think I’m going to take a walk i have a few things that i must think about that are coming up soon." "Ok I’ll take an hour or two to gather my feelings and I’ll meet you back here." "Ok john i hope you figure out everything and remember if you need to talk I'm here for you." "Ok" I left the throne room and asked for directions to get to the Private gardens. Upon arriving in the garden, my mood changed dramatically, the aromas of the flowers, the sights, the little animals it was a beautiful place i walked around investigating the garden and its exotic plants. After about 10 minutes of investigating the beauty of the garden i found a bench and sat on it. As i began to think about what I left back on earth I heard a voice past the hedges that separate the public garden from the private garden. I couldn't see past the hedges so i put my hands in the hedge and parted it slightly to see who was talking. It was Celestia, but something was bothering her, she seemed unhappy; i wanted to talk to her. I proceeded to try to get through the hedge, but got stuck in the hedge and i watched her go into the maze. After a few tugs at my clothes they came free and i began my pursuit. I ran after her into the maze, I found her but decided to follow behind her when I heard her talking to herself. *sigh* what am I to do, when i first seen him in that conference room something inside me turned on and made it irresistible for me to think about him. I want to tell him how I feel, but i can’t do it. I haven't had feelings like this for any pony before, so why him?" she said in a saddened tone I sat there and thought to myself "Really? Wow a goddess likes me, if somebody said that back on earth then they would think I'm crazy." i thought to myself. "But if i say something to her how would she react, would she get mad about me spying, or would she get sad because i found out about her liking me." I one again thought to myself. She rounded a corner and reached the center of the maze which had benches and potted flowers. Now was my time to say something, we are alone and somewhere that nobody or pony will find us. I rounded the corner and saw her but she hadn't noticed me yet, so I spoke up. "Hey." She looked at me and blushed a little "John i didn't expect you to be here "Look Celestia i heard what you said, whatever is on your mind, trust me you can tell me anything She looked away by this time she was blushing a lot more noticeably, she began to tell me her thoughts. "John, since the meeting we had with your president I have grown..... Feelings..... For you, these feelings are hard for me to contain, every time i see you I want to.........." After waiting about 10 seconds I asked "Want to what?" "To have a relationship." she said in a shy tone "Oh, well listen Celestia if we were back on earth there would be no possible way of us having a relationship, but since I’ll be spending the rest of eternity on this planet I might as well try out dating your kind. I see her look over at try to hide a smile, so I gave her a smile back and walked towards her. She noticed me walking towards her and her blush got a shade or two darker. I wrapped my arms around her and gave her a warming hug, after about a minute of hugging i let go. She sat there and stared at me with her violet eyes, next the unpredicted happened she stood up and threw herself at me. I landed and she followed and immediately she kissed me on the lips, at first it shocked me, but after a few seconds I accepted the fact that this is my new life, so I put my arms around her and stroked her wing with my hand. After about three minutes of regular kissing came the French kissing, she pushed her tongue past my lips and I accepted her warm slimy tongue into my mouth. After about 5 minutes of kissing and taking breathes our lips finally parted we were both panting from holding our breathes and only taking short breaths in between kisses. My fellow peers marched out of the bus single file to arrive at the Naval Special Warfare Training Center in Coronado, CA. this is where the easy normal life ended and pure hell began. The training takes a total of 61 weeks most of the class won’t make it to see graduation day. But me, I’ll make it all the way and i will push my body to its extremes. 61 weeks later... "Congratulations to class 428 for graduating and moving to their teams" our commanding officer announced in the microphone. After a quick cheer we begin to leave the parade grounds then i noticed a high ranking officer walking towards me. He approached me and asked "PFC. john McNeal?” I quickly stood at attention and said “Sir Yes sir!". "At ease soldier" he said. "I have a request from the president for you to visit the white house immediately" he said to me. "Sir right away sir!” He nodded his head in approval "Good, theirs a jet waiting for us at San Diego International airport to take us to Washington D.C for your meeting." He stated. "Sir ill report to the airport and check in with you before we leave." I told him. He stared into the sky and chuckled “Soldier, stop with that Sir crap, please call me frank. Many hours later...... I awoke to the thud of the private jet's wheels hitting the runway and coming to a thunderous stop. We have landed at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, Washington D.C. We pulled into a private hangar where about 4 or 5 secret service members awaited for us outside a limo. I enter the limo along with frank and we pull out of the hangar and frank begins briefing me on the meeting. I blanked out of listening to frank and look out the window of the limo now we were being escorted by police cars and bikes. "Hey, are you even paying attention! This is serious business we are talking about!" frank said to catch my attention “Oh sorry, so about this meeting who exactly are we going to be talking to?” Frank replied in a worrying tone "I don't even know myself, that's between you and the president." "Interesting." I said. 10 minutes later...... We arrived at the white house, I exit the limo and immediately two secret service members escort me to the front doors of the white house. they open the doors for me and escort me to the outside of the white house’s meeting room, a sudden jolt of anxiety and excitement consume my body as i prepare to receive a mission that only I have been selected for. //-------------------------------------------------------// Arrival //-------------------------------------------------------// Arrival As we stood their in the white house I received a farewell from the president, being the leader of this nation he knew things that only a hand-picked of others knew. Celestia charged her horn and prepared to teleport back to her planet, just before we left the president spoke up "Wait john, there’s something you should know before you leave, the world is ending, but what they predicted was wrong, no meteor, not a global flood, but an event so powerful it will kill everything on the planet, scientists have predicted that the gravitational pull of the sun has strengthened and will pull our planet into itself within the next 5 years" he said in a depressed tone. "Oh, I'm sorry" i said "John please, it’s not your fault, plus we thought of everything possible to stop it from happening, anyways i want there to at least be one human left in the universe," he said in a reassuring tone. I nodded and turned back to Celestia, but before i could say another word everything went dark One intergalactic teleportation later....... I awoke in a small bed, my legs hung off the end of the bed which gave me cramps in both of my legs. I sat up and looked around, everything was built for smaller people, i stood up and the cramps in my legs took effect i walked with a limp to the door and opened it. What i saw on the other side of the door was amazing, i walked into a very large and luxurious hallway; the floors and walls were all made from granite and at the ends of the hall were large statues of Celestia. A guard exited from a room next to the room i exited "The majesty requests your presence in the throne room." he said "Ok can you show me the way?" He pointed his hoof down the hall "Just enter those doors that's the throne room." "Ok thank you sir" i said I entered the throne room and immediately was stunned in amazement, a red carpet led to a golden throne, two fountains flow next to the throne, and very beautiful stain-glass windows. I approached her throne; she looked at me and said before I freeze you i need to put some spells on you and your equipment. She charged the first spell and shot me with it didn’t hurt but i felt a strong energy flow inside my body. "That spell makes you not age past your current age" She said beginning to charge up her horn again, another shot but it hit my guns " From what i understand your race has weapons that fire projectiles to kill other humans, so i put enchantments on all your... what are they called, Guns, so now they will have unlimited projectiles." she said. "Awesome that will help me greatly for killing one pony and being a guard for all eternity" i said giving a smirk to Celestia.
