As soon as Shining Armor saw the list his eyes went wide and he froze, sweat already rolling and trickling down his forehead, had Molly figured out that he had an unnatural lust for her? He decided to feign innocence, "Um... I'm not sure what you mean honey!"

Molly's eyes teared up "How could you?!"

Shining Armor immediately tried to calm her down "Please Molly, try to under-"

Molly interrupted "After all this time, you still don't accept me?!"

Shining was confused, what was she talking about? "What do you mean?"

Molly pointed out his wording, what was worse though was how she had interpreted it.
"I'm only TECHNICALLY your daughter? I'm not a real daughter like Flurry? That must be because of point two huh? The fact that I'm just some random crystal cat and not a pony? Also, you're a married stallion? You think that I'd cause a rift in your marriage because mommy loves me and Flurry equally but you DON'T?!?!"

Shining Armor felt terrible, Molly thought that he was making a list of reasons why he didn't consider her his real daughter rather than reasons why he shouldn't want to fuck her, "No no no! It's not what it seems like!"

Molly was angry but mostly upset as tears streamed down her face, "Likely story! Then what does it mean daddy? Or shouldn't I call you that YOUR MAJESTY?!?!"

Shining Armor's heart felt like it was aching with hurt, he loved Molly just as much as he loved Flurry and it pained him to hear her addressing him by his title rather than as her father. Shining desperately wanted to explain the real reason... but the real reason wasn't much better than the fake reason and he couldn't decide which was the lesser of two evils. Unfortunately the lingering silence in the air just confirmed what Molly thought she had discovered and she ran out of the throne room crying. Shining Armor sighed and put his head in his hooves as he whispered to himself, "What have I done?"

Cadance was making her way to the throne room when Molly just burst through the door in tears and was running to her room, all Cadance heard was wails of despair and being a mother, she decided that whatever reasons she had for going to the throne room were suddenly not a priority anymore and ran after her daughter. When Cadance reached Molly's room, she saw Molly face down on her bed just soaking her pillow with tears, Flurry Heart, concerned for her sister, peeked into the bedroom to see what was going on. Cadance looked at Flurry and shook her head, telling Flurry on a subliminal level that this was most likely an adult issue, Flurry understood and left her mother and sister alone to have whatever conversation needed to happen.

Cadance slowly and quietly sat down on the bed before gently stroking Molly's arm, after a few seconds when Molly started to calm down and wasn't crying as much she softly said "Hey Molly, are you ready to talk about what's wrong?" Molly sniffed and nodded, cuddling up next to her mother. "Alright... so tell me what the problem is sweetie".

Molly just looked up at her mother and said "Mommy... why doesn't daddy love me?"

Of all the things Cadance thought she might say, that was the last thing she had expected. "What are you talking about baby? Daddy loves you very much", Molly just grumbled and gave her mother the list that Shining had written days earlier. Cadance studied the list, she saw what Molly must have been thinking but she also saw what Shining had been thinking, this was an extremely awkward situation but Cadance wouldn't be the princess of love if she didn't see a way of rectifying the situation. "Oh darling..." she said "This list isn't your father saying that he doesn't love you, in fact it's a list that proves that perhaps he loves you a little more than he should, he has just worded it badly".

Molly adopted a confused look on her face "I... I don't understand, what do you mean? The things it says about how I'm only his daughter by technicality, bringing up our species difference... I don't get how that shows that he loves me".

Cadance smiled and said "Well, look at the things on the list again and try to imagine it from a different perspective, instead of envisioning it from the perspective of a stallion who doesn't love enough, try looking at it as if you were a stallion who loves too much, OK?" Molly still didn't quite get what her mother was trying to say but did as she asked and took a second look at the list from the angle of a stallion who loved very deeply. She was his daughter... well that was simply a fact, every stallion would love their daughter presumably. She was a crystal cat... again that was simply a fact, through the eyes of a very caring and loving father that wouldn't matter. It was the third one that gave her pause, he was a married stallion, if he loved her so much then why would the marriage come into play? Would her mother be jealous of the affection her father would give? That wasn't possible surely? Her mother was the princess of love and they were husband and wife, the only thing that could even possibly equate to that kind of love was... was if he... he...

It all suddenly clicked in Molly's mind, though rather than feeling sick or disgusted by her father, she blushed extremely hard in embarrassment as she felt butterflies in her stomach, she was actually rather flattered. Cadance chuckled "I see you've gotten the big picture here".

Molly let out a deep breath, "Whoa... I had no idea that he saw me that way... but he can't do that, can he?"

Cadance said "Why do you ask? Would you like him to?"

Molly again blushed "I... I couldn't, I mean he is a handsome stallion and if things were different... then maybe-"

Cadance interrupted her by putting a hoof to her lips. "Sweetie, I can tell you right now that the list of worries he made can be answered by me. First of all, yes you are technically his daughter and that dynamic is there but genetically there is nothing stopping you two from doing that as long as you both think it will strengthen your father/daughter bond. Second of all, there is no law saying that two consenting adults who are a different species can't have a roll in the hay. Third and finally, yes he is married to me but that doesn't mean that I would stop him from making love to others, I'm the princess of love, sharing love is my thing!"

Molly was reeling from all of this information, she briefly wondered if Flurry Heart would be jealous before realizing that not only was age an issue but that when Flurry did reach legal age that the whole genetics issue would prevent them from doing that legally anyway. "Mom..." she said "Is it possible for daddy to get me pregnant? If he... you know..."

Cadance shook her head "A pony and a cat? I don't imagine that working".

Molly nodded, she was OK with that, she didn't particularly want a litter of kittens or ponies or cat-pony hybrids anyway, certainly not with her father. Molly sat up and said "So... do you really think daddy wants to... you know... do that with me?"

Cadance smiled warmly and said "Let me let you in on a little secret sweetie, if I wasn't always so busy with royal duties and Flurry was of legal age, I'm pretty sure we'd jump at the chance to use our free time to have sex with a such a young attractive woman like you".

Molly giggled as she went "Mom! Stop it!" Cadance returned the laughter. When they calmed down, Molly was feeling much better, smiling again with her tail and ears in the "happy" position.

Cadance said "Right, now you wait here while I go and have a talk with your father, I have a plan..." Cadance smirked as she walked out of Molly's bedroom and began to walk towards the throne room, Molly had a feeling she knew where this was going, she was nervous about what she thought was about to happen considering that Shining Armor was her father... but then again, she wasn't particularly against it either. She admitted to herself that the idea had crossed her mind once or twice, not in a serious way but more in a "what if" kind of way. Though it looks like the question of "What if I had sex with my father" was about to become a statement of "I'm going to have sex with my father", Molly waited patiently on the bed and she shuddered as her body reacted positively to the possibility of the impending sex, her pussy tensing and heating up with need.
