In the capital the kingdom, Canterlot Castle. The ruler of this place-Princess Twilight Amaura Sparkle sat on her throne with her royal duties. Her day just passed like every other days, bored and tired. She needed somethings new to keep her relaxed and entertained. Many ideas appeared in her mind but those were not possible for her right now

'I should take a trip outside the castle to take some fresh air. I haven't gone out of the castle for a week' Murmured Twilight to herself before she exited the throne room and headed out of the castle

Canterlot City was famous for its noisy atmosphere, but something wasn't right, in the corner of the street, there is a crowd as she came to see what happened there. As she passed the crowd eveypony stood aside, a dark creature covered by many holes in her hoofs and hair appeared in her eyes, in front of her was ponies who were laughing at that creature.

"Everypony, you shouldn't harm any creatures as long as they don't attack you, so please get back to your home. It's almost dinner time" As everyone obeyed her she turned to the dark creature "Are you ok little one? Do you have any bad injuries?" Asked Twilight as she looked for any signs of its parents "Where are your parents?"

"I don't have any dangerous injuries, thank you for asking your highness. As for my mother, she abandoned me because she thinks I was a failure and useless" The dark creature answered the question innocently

"Oh, poor little creature. Do you want to live with me in the castle? It has so many rooms so you can stay there if you want"

"Really? Thank you so much your highness, but I just fear to be alone and be attacked again". Begged the little creature, as she made puppy eyes

"It's ok, you can stay with me in my chamber. Although I wasn't used to the feeling of having another pony in my room it's ok if you want to sleep with me. I will happy to share my bed with you." Twilight happily answered as she curiously studied the creature she talked to "I don't want to be rude but I want to know which species are you" She tried to remember which race it is but she has no idea, this hasn't mentioned in the creature books

"Oh, thank you so much, you are too kind and generous, your majesty. And about my species, I'm a changeling and my name is Chrysalis" Said Chrysalis

"Wow, I just thought that changelings are an only myth. So which rank are you, little changeling, you look so different from drones" Her answer surprised Twilight, she always thought that changelings were only myth because she hasn't truly seen any of them, only some book mentioned about their species but didn't give very much information

"Yes, I am not the drone. I was born on the purpose to rule as the next queen of changelings but I don't have much power like the others" The changeling mood saddened

"It's ok, Chrysalis if you want to I'll teach you magic along with my personal students. I'll introduce them to you tomorrow, but now we should head back to the castle, I don't want anypony to worry "

As they head back to the castle, the dinner already prepared for them. While Twilight made her way to the table, Chrysalis still looked uncertain, she feared that she wouldn't welcome here

"Are you sure I'll be welcome here? Other creatures saw my kind nothing else but a monster, so that is why they attacked me wherever they saw me"

"It's ok dear, nopony will ever hurt you as long as you're under my protection. Come here, we should have dinner then I'll show you my room"

Sat down to her seat, Twilight started eating but Chrysalis hadn't eaten anything. That got Twilight's attention. 'That was weird, she should be hungry now but she doesn't eat anything. Does she still discomfort?'

"Dear, why don't you eat a little, you will have a class with me tomorrow that gonna take much energy"

"Oh, I'm sorry I forgot to tell you that my race feed on love, so I'm already full. If you hate me about taking your love it's ok I'll leave if you want me to" Answered Chrysalis fearfully

"No, don't do that. I don't have any problem with it, if that is what you need to survive it's ok with me"

"Really? You don't hate me about this?" Her eyes started to shine brightly when she knew she was not going to leave

"Of course, why should I?"

"Thank you so much for understanding your majesty. I haven't met anyone like you in my life. You allowed me to stay with you and after you know I feed on love you still give me mercy. Thank you so much" Chirped Chrysalis

When they finished eating, Twilight lowered the sun and risen the moon then led Chrysalis to her chamber. Her personal room's door has her cutie mark, the inside was mainly decorated in purple and dark blue furniture. The princess was happy because she could return to her room after a day with duties but Chrysalis looked hesitant, she was not certain if she should enter the room or leave

"Don't worry Chrysalis, as I said before I wouldn't mind if you stay with me. As long as you behave in a good way, we always welcome you here" Chrysalis nodded as she entered the room "This room so big for me. Especially with royalty like me, I don't have much time to spend for myself so feel free to use the furniture in this room"

"Thank you so much your majesty, but can I know your name, please? I haven't heard your name"

"My name is Twilight Amaura Sparkle, but you can call me Twilight or princess are both ok with me.". Happily declared Twilight

"Why did your title is princess, when you can claim yourself queen in this land. My mother claimed herself queen of the hive, and her kingdom just like yours" Innocently asked Chrysalis

"For some of my reasons I don't want to get the title of queen." Chrysalis slowly nodded "Look like it's getting late now, we should go to bed" Twilight padded the space next to her "Come here Chrysalis, let's sleep together"

'I haven't felt this much love like this before, my mother never love me this much. I should stay here from now on, this place has so much love' Thought Chrysalis "Yes, Princess"

As Chrysalis climbed on the bed, laid down next to the princess. She snuggled close to Aquestria's princess to feel the warmth and love around her until sleep claimed them both. 'This gonna be a new start for me' Smiled Chrysalis in her peaceful sleep

Well, my first chapter I ever written was done, please give me some advice about this because I only started so I still have many errors
By the way excuse me if I made too much dialogue
